Founded in the year 1996, Muscat College is one of the oldest private colleges in Oman. Ever since the College has been shouldering the responsibilities of teaching undergraduate students. The College offers undergraduate HND programs in affiliation with Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA), as well as Bachelor with Honours programs in affiliation with Stirling University, Scotland. The College signed a partnership agreement with the University Malaysia of Pahang to offer focused Bachelor programs with Honors in focused technological fields such as Computer Network Systems and Software Engineering for the academic year 2025-2016. We plan to offer our first Masters's programs in the academic year 2016-2017. Our vision emphasizes to be a quality higher education institution of technology. Our mission is to provide quality higher education in Management and Information Technology in Oman within a culture of creativity and innovation. Our strategy for fulfilling our vision is to establish effective programs affiliated with world universities, produce students with leadership qualities, build strong links with communities and institutions in Oman and abroad, and lay down a reliable infrastructure for future research. Muscat College was established in 1996 as a private academic Omani institution of higher education. Muscat College is located in the capital-Muscat and started its first academic year in 1997. Muscat College is under the supervision of the Ministry of High Education in Oman. In 2001, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) approved Muscat College as an "SQA Centre" similar to the other UK & Europe centers. To deliver a high level of academic education and practical skills through the various offered fields of specialization to meet the demands of the current private and public sectors and the Sultanate's development plans' needs. It is the College Policy to remove unnecessary barriers from students seeking entry to the College. The two main criteria are that students are judged to have the ability to meet the demands of their course and can benefit from their course of Study. A General Education Diploma or its equivalents to join the University of Stirling Honours Programmes The SQA Diploma Programmes in Business and Accounting or Computing. For students joining a Built Environment Engineering diploma program, they should have studied pure Mathematics and Physics. Guided by his Majesty's gracious course and wisdom, we have advanced with this private educational institution, ever since its first academic year, to share with all those taking part in the renaissance glorious procession. By doing so, we would have the honor of participating in the march of science and education. Sagesse University, through its courses, thrives on serving the young generation, without any discrimination, to provide them a distinguished place in the domain of knowledge and access to the business world. Rafik Hariri University, located in the beautiful Mechref village of Damour city, is a leading university in Lebanon. Since its establishment in September 1999, RHU has preserved the legacy of the man behind the institution in providing quality higher education that pushes boundaries beyond what seems possible. Rafik Hariri University, whose aim is to provide affordable, high-quality education and to supply knowledgeable and competent graduates to meet Lebanese and regional job market demands, became a reality and opened its doors for the first time on September 15, 1999, with the College of Business Administration, according to Presidential Decree 1947. It opened with a student population of 75. After its Colleges of Engineering and Science and Information Systems were established, RHU was granted university status on June 19, 2006, by Decree Number 17192. RHU comprises four colleges that offer courses and award academic degrees, both graduate and undergraduate. The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is a private Catholic higher education institution founded by the Lebanese Maronite Order (LMO) in 1938. From that moment, these monks, who had been entrusted with a teaching mission for more than three centuries, have undertaken the management of USEK. Their remit was to provide university teaching in conformity with the labor market requirements and close association with scientific research. Being a national institution, USEK has brought its teachings and curricula into line with the Lebanese state's official requirements, which acknowledges the diplomas it delivers. Furthermore, USEK remains careful in achieving a synthesis of tradition and modernism in the educational options it offers while remaining true to a Christian humanism, which is imprinted on the general education it provides. Due to the pressure to democratize higher education, the University is deploying necessary efforts to fight exclusion and abide by a non-elitist policy, albeit without making any concessions concerning education quality. The establishment of decentralized regional centers (in Zahle, Chekka, and Rmeich) thus springs out of the wish to implement the right to higher education. USEK has adapted well in light of soaring socioeconomic development and has created new vocational specializations to diversify its education and meet the needs of the labor market. Nowadays, USEK welcomes more than 8,000 students across its twelve faculties and three institutes, i.e., fifteen academic units, which offer a broad array of diversified high-level education. Studies in USEK are based on the modular system of units, which are accounted for on a half-year basis, or "credits." Also, the adoption of such a structure enables students to enjoy flexibility on all levels for the prospective degree courses' academic and financial management. It also enables the Promotion of students' mobility in Lebanon and abroad: Credits can be accumulated and transferred from one University to another. Personalization of the students' training: Each student's academic course is adapted to his(her) personal and vocational project. Flexible Organisation of the semester: Students are allowed the freedom to choose the number of credits (while abiding by the minimum and maximum numbers set by the University) and the courses taken during the semester (out of a group of courses that are required for a given curriculum), thus enabling them to ameliorate how they set their schedule. Development of close pedagogical support: The teachers' follow-up and support are reinforced by the fact that thanks to this system, education is centered on the students. The offer of diversified courses to students promotes a multidisciplinary approach and exchanges within and among disciplines. Facilitation reorientation: Thanks to the establishment of links among the various education courses proposed, students can easily change their curriculum without losing all their achievements. USEK cultivates a strong feeling of belonging among its students, thanks to its welcoming student life and the multiple services. Hence, outside the framework of courses, student life in USEK takes several shapes and offers new occasions to develop new competencies and knowledge and build an extensive network of contacts: a student magazine, social associations, and clubs, pastoral work, cultural trips, student parties, etc. Since the University is keen on emphasizing the culture of the body and that of the mind, it also offers students a broad choice of sports activities. The program includes basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, table tennis, oriental dance, yoga, ski, etc. Also, USEK has several sports teams, which take part regularly in competitions among universities and national and international championships. USEK has always been interested in research activities, as proven by the international magazines published by the University (Melto, Parole de l'Orient), the annals and proceedings of high-level conferences and seminars held at USEK, in addition to the numerous publications, which are the result of individual or collaborative research works and which – by and large – pertain to a broad theme of diversification, namely that of the Lebanese and Near-Eastern heritage (musical, theological, liturgical, literary, legal, historical, architectural, technical, scientific, etc.). In this context, exchanges within and among disciplines are promoted, thus establishing links among USEK's faculties and institutes to achieve better collaboration. Moreover, the University has access to much resource equipment earmarked for research activities and put at the disposal of teachers/researchers and students. As higher education became widespread and the socioeconomic crisis in the country grew harsher, USEK has set the following objectives for itself: Make higher education accessible to all equally, without discrimination and, most importantly, without excluding economically deprived students Preserve the quality of its students' education and training to better live in society and their vocational sphere. The American University of the Middle East (AUM) is a leading higher education institution and the most prominent private university in Kuwait. The establishment of Kuwait University began by issuing an Amiri decree in 1966 No. 29/1966. It took the responsibility of preparing and educationally qualifying the young generation, the real wealth of this country, to achieve the ambitious future goals with the most necessary knowledge, culture, and science. The ability to offer distinguished academic learning for these young generations is the key to developing and disseminating the knowledge needed to meet all goals and meet the requirements of society. Since its establishment, Kuwait University has witnessed a significant expansion in the number of scientific colleges reaching 16 colleges. The American University of Kuwait (AUK) is an independent, private, equal opportunity, and coeducational liberal arts institution of higher education. The educational, cultural, and administrative structure, methods, and standards of AUK are based on the American higher learning model. The language of instruction is English. Established by Amiri Decree 139 in 2003, AUK received its Institutional Accreditation from the Private Universities Council (PUC) – Ministry of Higher Education in the State of Kuwait, as of February 1, 2006. On the seventeenth of January 2005, a Royal Decree was issued to establish Tafila Technical University as a public university that currently contributes to higher education in Jordan. Since then, the university has sought to realize the objectives for which it was established. On top of these objectives are the reinforcement of spiritual and moral values, national pride, Arab Islamic identity, and the development of students' talents, emphasizing the qualities of leadership and citizenship. Another merit of TTU is the small number of its enrolled students. The total number of enrolled students is similar to many reputed American universities such as Harvard and Princeton. Zarqa University (ZU) was founded in 1994 in a strategic location to the east of Zarqa City, just six kilometers away, to be the first private University in Zarqa Governorate, with an area that reached three hundred and fifty acres. The University aims at going in parallel lines with the objectives and the strategies of public and private Jordanian universities. It also supports the Jordanian higher education system's different goals and meets the scientific, social, economic, cultural, and human needs. The University started with six colleges that comprised one hundred and fifty students enrolled in twenty majors. The German-Jordanian University (GJU) is a public university located in Mushaqar. It was founded in 2005 by a Royal Decree, following a memorandum of understanding reached between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany. In August 2004, a founding committee began up its activities in Jordan. The committee was in close cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. At the same time, the German planning office opened at the University of Magdeburg-Stendal in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF and the German Academic Exchange Services DAAD, which funded the university project for four years. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the category "German Study Programmes Abroad." The School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) was established in 2005. The SATS offers undergraduate programs in three engineering disciplines giving the students the knowledge and skills they need for success in a technically oriented career. The Royal Decree to establish the Hashemite University was issued on 19th June 1991. Teaching at the university started on 16th September 1995 on a total area of 8519 acres. It is oriented toward achieving an academic pioneering position and excellence in university teaching, scientific research, at both the national and regional levels, to serve society through its educational functions and participate in the advancement of knowledge. Department of Computer Science and Applications aims to graduates specialists in the Information Technology field who are qualified to deal with the market requirements by including the basic sciences and programming skills in the curriculum, also, to encourage the students to be self-dependent, self-learning, working in teams and participating in the specialized training courses in information technology. The Community and Mental Health Nursing Department are one of three central departments in the Faculty of Nursing at the Hashemite University. Yarmouk University (YU) was established in June 1976 by a Royal Decree. Much has been accomplished over the past three and a half decades since establishing this outstanding institution, but much still needs to be done. When the University was established in 1976, the then Faculty of Arts and Science included specializations in science, arts, economics, and administrative sciences. The departments of Arabic, English, Humanities, and Social Sciences were the core of the Faculty of Arts, established in 1981.

Science is the foundation stone for progress and development taking place in human life; the University of Jordan (UJ), which was founded in 1962, has grown to become Jordan's most extensive and leading University, excelling in pedagogy, research, and innovation and advancing in global standing, it has offered a wide choice of academic programs for students who can choose from more than 250 Programs from 24 schools in various disciplines. At the graduate level, UJ provides 38 doctoral Programs, which represent more than 50% of doctoral programs in Jordan, and 111 master programs, which represent about 25% of master programs in Jordan, 16 higher specialization programs in medicine and one in dentistry, and three diploma programs. UJ has qualified academics working in parallel with its ambition and aspirations to excel; many of them have held many vital roles in academic, administrative, and political fields in Jordan; some of them are ministers, advisers, deputies, and heads of universities, while some are excelled in innovation, scientific research, and literature. UJ is looking to reach the highest level of excellence. However, it is also trying to apply the principles of total quality management and use the latest information technologies in its programs and strategies. The University of Jordan has achieved advanced positions in various international rankings: UJ is one of the best 600 Universities worldwide, one of the best 10 Arab universities, and it has recently achieved four stars according to QS. Also, UJ has gained many international accreditations for its programs, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, rehabilitation, and other disciplines. Our mission is to provide students with fulfilling learning experiences, conduct knowledge-producing research, and build strong social ties within an environment conducive to creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship making efficient use of resources and forging fruitful partnerships. The University will also focus on transforming its students, faculty, and staff into global citizens capable of engaging not only each other but also people and cultures worldwide. We will seek to enhance campus diversity and further internationalize the student and faculty bodies. Founded in 1991, Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) is the only private and non-profit university in Jordan. It is owned by the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), the foremost applied research center in Jordan. Like RSS, PSUT is part of El Hassan Science City located in Amman, Jordan.
