The University of Balamand is a non-profit and independent institution of higher education. It was founded in 1988 by Patriarch Ignatius IV, Patriarch of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. Recognizing the noble values of tolerance, co-existence, and mutual respect, Balamand welcomes students and faculty from all over the world.We prepare our students to think creatively and to interact constructively to be able to lead by example. The establishment of Kuwait University began by issuing an Amiri decree in 1966 No. 29/1966. It took the responsibility of preparing and educationally qualifying the young generation, the real wealth of this country, to achieve the ambitious future goals with the most necessary knowledge, culture, and science. The ability to offer distinguished academic learning for these young generations is the key to developing and disseminating the knowledge needed to meet all goals and meet the requirements of society. Since its establishment, Kuwait University has witnessed a significant expansion in the number of scientific colleges reaching 16 colleges. The colleges offer various undergraduate and graduate programs. They are College of Law, College of Arts, College of Science College of Medicine, College of Engineering and Petroleum, College of Allied Health Science, College of Education, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Business Administration, College of Pharmacy, College of Dentistry, College of Social Science, College of Women, College of Architecture and College of Computer Science and Engineering. As for graduate programs, the university currently offers 6 Ph.D. programs, 48 Masters and 4 Higher Diploma programs in various disciplines. It is planned to offer new graduate studies programs to cover all the available bachelor degree programs at Kuwait University. Early at the beginnings of establishing Kuwait University, administrations and academic work centers supported and contributed to the development of research, education, and community service. To maintain the bright journey of KU, the significance of strategic planning became one of the most critical priorities, taking the responsibility of unifying the framework and organizing priorities in order to be able to move forward towards achieving all goals and objectives that were set up since its establishment. A five-year strategic plan was also set up (2013-2017). It consists of new directions for the futuristic vision that will draw a clear pathway of taking Kuwait University as a leading national university in the region. Every college and work center is required to prepare a five-year action plan according to specified goals and objectives, set up previously in Kuwait University's strategic plan (2013-2017). On the seventeenth of January 2005, a Royal Decree was issued to establish Tafila Technical University as a public university that currently contributes to higher education in Jordan. Since then, the university has sought to realize the objectives for which it was established. On top of these objectives are the reinforcement of spiritual and moral values, national pride, Arab Islamic identity, and the development of students' talents, emphasizing the qualities of leadership and citizenship. The ways to realize these objectives include offering higher education opportunities, disseminating knowledge about the constructive role of Arab-Islamic civilization in the progress of human civilizations, and meeting the communal need for specialists in science and technology arts. Having a qualified generation would help our country encounter contemporary and future challenges in various fields of life. The university also encourages scientific research, sets findings into practice, and uses modern technologies for the overall development of Jordan. Tafila Technical University has seven colleges: Engineering, Science, Business, Education, Arts, Student Affairs, and scientific research and graduate studies. The number of university students at the beginning of 2016 has reached approximately six thousand students spread over different programs: Bachelor program, two-year intermediate diploma program, higher diploma program, and master program. The number of faculty members has recently reached (237), whereas the administrative staff amounted to (631). The university has taken quick, confident steps towards the consolidation and assimilation of e-learning, online registration, and information technology among students and faculty members. Also, computer courses are regularly held for staff members to develop their computer skills the Computer Center has an integrated infrastructure, several computer laboratories, and technical competencies in the fields of computer and information technologies. The university has forged strategic partnerships with such international organizations as Microsoft, Cisco, and the Center for International Computer Driving License. Today, both students and employees realize that all academic departments' lectures start on the first day of the semester. As I demonstrate an equal interest in scientific research and scholarships, all faculty members should immediately submit their research proposals. Another merit of TTU is the small number of its enrolled students. The total number of enrolled students is similar to many reputed American universities such as Harvard and Princeton. This makes it feasible to communicate with students, provide them with educational and recreational activities, supervise their extracurricular activities, train them in the fields of their specializations, and enhance communication between students and their professors. Being the university president, I encourage students and their teachers to engage in constant conversations and dialogues. An additional merit of TTU is that students whose grade point average (GPA) in the General Secondary Certificate is below the minimum average for admission in other public universities can apply for diploma programs. If students get the minimum GPA for admission in Shamel or the comprehensive exam, they can transfer to bachelor programs. To offer study programs and disciplines of applied technology according to international academic standards. To support applied scientific research under the standards of advanced research and employ it to realize economic and social development in Jordan. To attract outstanding academic faculty, raise their capabilities, and continue their work for the university. Zarqa University (ZU) was founded in 1994 in a strategic location to the east of Zarqa City, just six kilometers away, to be the first private University in Zarqa Governorate, with an area that reached three hundred and fifty acres. The University aims at going in parallel lines with the objectives and the strategies of public and private Jordanian universities. It also supports the Jordanian higher education system's different goals and meets the scientific, social, economic, cultural, and human needs. The University started with six colleges that comprised one hundred and fifty students enrolled in twenty majors. In 2017/2018, the number of students has increased to reach about eight thousand students distributed on thirteen colleges, including seven humanities faculties and six scientific faculties. The University comprises forty-four undergraduate majors and postgraduate programs in English Language and Literature, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Intellectual Property, and Islamic Banking. It also includes three deanships, Deanship of Scientific Research, Student Affairs, and Evening Studies, and five centers: Islamic Cultural Centre, Computer Centre, Language Centre, Centre of Continuing Education and Community Service, E-learning Centre, and Energy Research Center. Other administrative departments such as the Admission and Registration Department, Library, and the Development and Quality Assurance Unit. Zarqa Journal for Research and Studies in Humanities is the leading Journal of the University. It started in 1999 and is published quarterly by the Deanship of Scientific Research. The journal publishes in Arabic and English and is internationally indexed in Ulrich'stabase. The University was awarded the (ISO) certificate in 2009, which is accomplished through careful planning between the Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees, and the University Administration, who work as one team. The Royal Decree to establish the Hashemite University was issued on 19th June 1991. Teaching at the university started on 16th September 1995 on a total area of 8519 acres. It is oriented toward achieving an academic pioneering position and excellence in university teaching, scientific research, at both the national and regional levels, to serve society through its educational functions and participate in the advancement of knowledge. The Hashemite University as a youthful and prominent higher education institution is committed to actively participate in achieving the goals of the comprehensive national development through preparing loyal men and women who are not only technically competent in their professional fields, but also life-long learners who have a breadth vision, loyalty to their nation, and a sense of civic and moral responsibility and devotion to the fundamental values of human life. The Department of English Language and Literature was established in 1995, which is the same year The Hashemite University was established. The Department offers two Bachelor degrees. One is a Bachelor degree of Arts in English Language and Literature, and the other is a Bachelor degree of Arts in Literature and Cultural Studies. The Department's study plan maintains a balance between language teaching on the one hand and academic instruction on the other. The Department of Land Management and Environment was established at the beginning of the academic year 1999. Besides awarding a B.Sc. degree in land management, the Department's goal is to enhance the university's contribution to conserving natural resources and solving local environmental problems such as arid land degradation, water, and air pollution. The mission of the Electrical Engineering Department is to serve society through excellence in education, research, scholarship, and public outreach. We strive to provide an education in electrical engineering for our students and instill in them the attitudes, values, and vision that will prepare them for lifetimes of continued learning and leadership in their chosen careers. The Electrical Engineering Department also strives to generate new knowledge through research and facilitate technology transfer for Jordan's benefit. The Department of Educational Foundations and Administration is one of the three departments at the College of Educational Sciences that provide students with intellectually challenging education in two programs of Masters: Educational Administration, and Educational Foundations, in addition to that a Professional Diploma in School Management, and a Professional Diploma in School Leadership. Also, the Department offers supported courses for undergraduate students. Department of Computer Science and Applications aims to graduates specialists in the Information Technology field who are qualified to deal with the market requirements by including the basic sciences and programming skills in the curriculum, also, to encourage the students to be self-dependent, self-learning, working in teams and participating in the specialized training courses in information technology. The economics department shows a high level of academic, research, and social achievements. It also aims at more ascent and variety in its academic programs and activities. It is looking forward to more effective cooperation with other institutions to give graduates more job opportunities. We, me and my colleagues, are working very hard for more success. The Department of mathematics provides training in the core skills of a wide range of professions. The Department has an excellent reputation for quality teaching, research, and outstanding outreach to departments and the community. The Community and Mental Health Nursing Department are one of three central departments in the Faculty of Nursing at the Hashemite University. The Department contributes to the undergraduate nursing program and the Master in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Program, which was started in the 2009/2010 academic year. At the undergraduate level nursing program, many theoretical and clinical nursing courses are offered by the Community and Mental Health Nursing Department. These courses include Community Health Nursing/ theory and clinical, Mental Health Nursing/ theory and clinical, Administration and Management in Nursing/ theory and clinical, Communication Skills/theory, Health Promotion/ theory, Ethics of Science and Technology/ theory. At the undergraduate level, also the Department offers other courses that support other undergraduate programs such as Health Services Management/theory for students of The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. Furthermore, the Department offers elective courses for the undergraduate students at the university level, such as Ethics of Science (newly offered course) and Health Education and First Aids courses. The Department will start offering a new course titled "Gerontology Nursing," which will be offered in the 2017/2018 academic year for undergraduate nursing students.

Al Balqa Applied university was established in response to the Hashemite letter of embodying the philosophy of Higher Education, in line with the requirements of the stage to construct flexible educational structures concerned in academic, vocational, and applied aspects, promoting creativity and opening new promising paths that meet the needs of the common era, and which are compatible with the fiber of our modern Jordanian society. Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) is a comprehensive, state-supported university located on the outskirts of Irbid, in northern Jordan, 70km north of Amman, Jordan's capital city. JUST was established in 1986 as an autonomous national institute of higher education with the primary objective of producing outstanding professionals in specializations that match Jordan and the region's needs. Since its establishment, JUST has been at the forefront of higher learning in the Arab World. It also maintains a high reputation among the Middle Eastern universities due to its faculty and administrative staff, multi-disciplinary educational system, and students' broad diversity. The university was described as the best scientific institution in the Kingdom by King Abdullah II during his last visit. It was ranked as the top research university in the country, and amongst the top 50 universities in the Islamic World, according to a study carried out by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC). Isra University was established in 1991 in compliance with the decree 357 of the Jordanian Higher Education Council in 1989. Through its progress, the University has obtained general accreditation since 1991 with a capacity of 1320 students. Currently, this capacity has mounted to 7750 students. The University is located on the road of Queen Alia International Airport. Its faculties, constructions, and facilities lie on three square kilometers at Al-Tanib district, South of Amman. The University awards Bachelor Degree in 25 specializations and Master Degrees in 9 specializations, which are: law, Pharmacy, Management of Engineering Projects, Accounting, Software Engineering, and Kindergarten, affiliated with eight faculties. These specializations are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, authorized by the accreditation board of higher education institutions in Jordan, and granted many accreditation and appreciation certificates by national and international institutions. Twenty groups have so far graduated, amounting to more than 20000 students. The University is a member of the Association of Arab Universities, Assembly of Private higher education institutions in Arab countries, Arab Assembly for Training University students, International Association of Universities, and International Association of Training and Development organizations. The University follows the credit hour system in the teaching process. Attendance of lectures and laboratory work are obligatory student absence should not exceed 15 percent of the total hours required for each course. To get a Bachelor's Degree from faculties of Arts, Administrative and Financial Sciences, Educational Sciences, Information Technology, and Nursing. An undergraduate student should complete 132 credit hours and 141 credit hours in the Faculty of Law, with a cumulative average not less than 60 percent. In the Faculties of Pharmacy and Engineering, an undergraduate student should complete 160 credit hours with a cumulative average of less than 60 percent. To get a Master's Degree in relevant specializations, a postgraduate student should complete 33 credit hours with a cumulative average of not less than 75 percent in both programs: research-based program and teaching program. The University has recently created various centers: a center for child rights, a center for developing staff members, and a center for electronic learning (E-learning). To enhance the educational process, a center for consultations and continuing education, a Community service center, computer center, and deanship of student's affairs, deanship of evening studies, and deanship of academic research and higher studies were created. The University also has scholarship programs to send students to Arab and international universities to get doctoral degrees in many fields. A selected number of instructors were sent on scholarships to Arab and international universities .some have already obtained PhDs in various distinguished fields and joined Isra university staff members.

Yarmouk University (YU) was established in June 1976 by a Royal Decree. Yarmouk University has developed steadily into one of the largest and most prestigious state-supported educational institutions in Jordan. We currently have 27850 students, 936 faculty members, and 1740 administrative and technical staff spread over 13 faculties that offer 56 bachelor degree programs, 63 master degree programs, and 19 Ph.D. programs in various specializations. We also have 11 centers for research and career development. The University has carved a unique niche for itself in northern Jordan through the diversity of its programs, which aim to strike a fair balance between the humanities on the one hand and science and engineering specializations on the other. We hope to inspire our young students by offering various specializations combined with excellence in teaching, opportunities for community service and extra-curricular activities, and encouragement of innovation. Our aim is not merely to produce degree-holders but rather productive citizens with integrity, vision, reasoning, tolerance, and a sense of purpose. In recent years, the phenomenon of globalization, coupled with an overall economic decline, has resulted in an unprecedented scarcity of employment opportunities almost everywhere – Jordan is no exception. At Yarmouk University, we aim to combat this challenge by offering courses and training programs for both students and staff through our centers and by partnering with business, industry, NGO’s, and other local or foreign institutions. Several companies have established incubators at the university to offer students training and work experience that prepares them for the broader job market and creates a climate conducive to entrepreneurship and innovation. Research is also one of Yarmouk University’s top priorities, especially within Jordan’s social, economic, environmental, and developmental needs. Several research projects are currently underway in partnership with local and international institutions. Also, the recent establishment of technology transfer offices in public universities, including ours, has served to encourage the commercialization of research findings and inventions – a development that many researchers find appealing. Much has been accomplished over the past three and a half decades since establishing this outstanding institution, but much still needs to be done. When the University was established in 1976, the then Faculty of Arts and Science included specializations in science, arts, economics, and administrative sciences. The departments of Arabic, English, Humanities, and Social Sciences were the core of the Faculty of Arts, established in 1981.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology was established in the academic year 2011-2012 to keep abreast of the increasing and increasing advances in the field of information technology. The College offers a bachelor's degree program in three disciplines: Computer Science (CS), Computer Networks (CN). The College of Information Technology is considered one of the most effective colleges at the local and regional level in providing the labor market with qualified and competent staff able to cope with the changing changes and requirements in the field of information technology. The College is the incubator of many innovations and achievements of research and applied to serve the educational process level at the University. The College of Computer Science and Information Technology is keen on the quality of education outputs. It is interested in providing an advanced scientific research level through a commitment to outstanding performance and focus on all the primary axes of the educational process and providing the necessary cadres, equipment, and educational resources. The College of Engineering was established in the academic year (2007-2008) to keep abreast of the increasingly scientific and technological developments in various engineering fields and in line with the policy of higher education in providing the labor market with the required majors. It mainly comprises three departments: Civil Engineering Department and Engineering and Electronics Engineering Department. The program has been developed according to the requirements of quality and accreditation standards. The program has obtained general and private accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education. The laboratories of the College and the engineering labs are equipped with the latest equipment and equipment that meet the academic and research requirements of Our vision is to stimulate understanding of advanced engineering technology in the fields of civil engineering, communications engineering, electronics and architecture, and provide the local community and the industrial sector with practical, multidisciplinary research and practical applications. The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Jerash responds to the changes that affect the health care system in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through the study of nursing and the use of visual techniques in the teaching of the application since they entered the program until they graduated from the University. The College is working on creating and providing excellent nurses for clinical nursing work, Healthcare. The College is looking forward to developing qualified nursing staff able to assume professional responsibility efficiently and efficiently and be an excellent center for nursing education and training in the Kingdom and the Region. The College of Pharmacy was established at the University of Jerash in 2015. The primary capacity of the College granted by the Higher Education Accreditation Authority was 149 students. The laboratories and teaching rooms at the College of Pharmacy were provided with the latest educational means and scientific equipment to meet teaching and scientific research needs. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Jerash University adopts a system of theoretical and practical education and field training to prepare qualified staff in health care and pharmacy practices. The College of Agriculture aims to prepare specialists in the fields of agricultural sciences and pure sciences capable of contributing to the development of the agricultural and scientific sectors. It also aims to carry out applied research to contribute to solving some agricultural problems to increase agricultural production and improve its quality, to spread agricultural and scientific culture, Technical community service. The Faculty of Law was established in 1993 and part of the Faculty of Sharia and Law. In 1996, it became an independent college. Since its inception, the College has contributed to advancing the University'suniversity's academic and practical process. It has been keen to be a pioneer in legal education and has graduated several legal professionals from lawyers; the Faculty has been keen to provide legal education in theoretical and practical aspects. It has worked on developing study plans by the latest trends in legal education and introducing several courses in electronic dealing and human rights. The College, and take it upon themselves to support scientific research and encourage students to search through search graduation, has introduced a unique program of the legal clinic, a leader in teaching law colleges. The Faculty of Science was established with the university's establishment at the beginning of the academic year 1993/1994. The Faculty of Science aims to provide outstanding education as well as contribute to the production, development, and dissemination of knowledge and the rehabilitation of human resources to achieve the objectives of development and the needs of society and the requirements of the modern era in cooperation with various scientific institutions and community institutions. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was established at the beginning of the University's establishment. It currently comprises three departments in four academic disciplines: the Accounting Department, the Department of Administrative Sciences, and the Department of Finance and Banking. The College has adopted special accreditation for all its specializations. It is developing its study plans regularly and in line with the approved plans with its peers in the world and Jordanian universities to achieve the requirements of the Jordanian and Arab labor market.

Science is the foundation stone for progress and development taking place in human life; the University of Jordan (UJ), which was founded in 1962, has grown to become Jordan's most extensive and leading University, excelling in pedagogy, research, and innovation and advancing in global standing, it has offered a wide choice of academic programs for students who can choose from more than 250 Programs from 24 schools in various disciplines. UJ has qualified academics working in parallel with its ambition and aspirations to excel; many of them have held many vital roles in academic, administrative, and political fields in Jordan; some of them are ministers, advisers, deputies, and heads of universities, while some are excelled in innovation, scientific research, and literature. UJ is looking to reach the highest level of excellence. However, it is also trying to apply the principles of total quality management and use the latest information technologies in its programs and strategies. The University of Jordan has achieved advanced positions in various international rankings: UJ is one of the best 600 Universities worldwide, one of the best 10 Arab universities, and it has recently achieved four stars according to QS. Also, UJ has gained many international accreditations for its programs, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, rehabilitation, and other disciplines. AL- al Bayt University (The House of The Prophet University) is an academic establishment that attempts to upgrade (promote) the scientific, cultural, and civilized levels, work on keeping up with the technological developments in addition to following the modern directions of the higher education, encouraging the scientific research in order to carry out the applied and scientific researches. It also participates in serving and constructing the society within the domain (field) of the Islamic Values and Instructions, emphasizing scientific and systematic thinking, undertaking, and having the feeling of responsibility. On August 17, 1992 (18 Safar 1413 H), a Royal Decree was issued ordaining the establishment of Al al-Bayt University. As stated in the Royal Message, the University is to meet an urgent need for a new kind of university one that combines the requirements of scientific methodology in teaching and research, on the one hand, and the requirements of belief and clarity of vision on the other, thus, creating harmony between the rounded personality of the Muslim and his new environment.

Al-Hussein Bin Talal University was founded in 1999 and was the first higher educational institution established during H.M. King Abdullah II. In the beginning, the university was a branch for Mu'tah University occupying a temporary campus in Ma'an. It was relocated to a permanent campus in September 2004, 9 Km North West of Ma'an. AHU is a public, coeducational university located in the southern region's heart, 210 Km from the Capital Amman. The College of Information Technology (CoIT) was established in 2009 after re-structuring Information Technology and Computer Engineering and the College of Mining and Environmental Engineering. During this process, the Department of Computer Engineering and the Department of Communication Engineering was moved from the CoIT. Simultaneously, the Department of Information Technology has been divided into three departments, namely Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, and Software Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering (FE) was formally established in 2003 as part of AHU's strategic plan and offered admission for the first group of students in the first semester of the academic year 2004-2005. Since its establishment, our faculty multiplied in terms of students and teaching staff. In FE, we offer a bachelor's degree in eight central departments: Mining, Environmental, Chemical, Computer, Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. These departments were chosen to reflect the importance of Ma'an governorate and the southern part of Jordan in general as a center for most mining based industries such as phosphate, limestone, potash, silica, fertilizers, etc. Faculty of Educational Sciences was established through the board of trustees' decision no. 5 on 14 September 1999. It consists of (50) Ph.D. and Master holders. The faculty is looking forward to building national, Islamic, and Arabian personalities for its students. Also, let its students gain them to be transferred to their future students in public and private schools. Again, to develop the conscious mind interacts with the new developments of life with a creative spirit that can be Arabian, Islamic, authenticity through advanced teaching plans and programs. The faculty is doing its best to enrich its members' abilities, particularly the university members in general through research, containing training program, seminars and workshops in different fields. The faculty is helping in developing the teachers' competencies of all specializations in the educational establishments. In 2003, the College of Business Administration and Economics had exte,nsive, and diverse specialized programs programming fulfill its education, research, services, and national missions. Under this general interest, the college offered eight main Bachelor's degrees within three departments: Business Administration, Economics, Banking, and Financial Services. The establishment of the Department of Public Relations and Community Development came alongside the university's establishment in 1999. It was set out to reflect the objective and truthful civilized image of the Al-Hussein Bin Talal University. This Department is the university's official voice, and it is responsible for supervising the organization of the cultural and public relations with various organizations within and outside the country. The Department comprises three divisions: the Division of Cultural Relations and Media, the Public Relations Division, and the Division office. Princess Aisha Bint Alhussein College of Nursing carries the name of princess Aisha. She dedicated herself to establishing and serving the college as a blossom of Alhussein Bin Talal University to utilize the Jordanian community's nursing process. Princess Aisha Bint Alhussein College of Nursing was established at the beginning of the academic year 2008/2009 and has been provided with the complete needed medical tools, training manikins, simulation models, and electronic medical devices learning demands regarding nursing specialization. DIR was established per the university president's decision No (186/2002) dated 14/3/2002. DIR is an independent entity linked directly to the university president and comprises two sections. Namely, they are Int'l Agreement Section and Cultural Exchange and Communication Section. The Department of Personnel establishment came in sync with the early establishment of the Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, 1999. The Dept's philosophy is to implement the university policies related to the provision of human resources of academic, administrative, and technical personnel and follow-up actions and administrative procedures regarding personnel at the university and provide services related to health insurance, social security, and life insurance for them and follow their affairs for the duration of their work in the university by the laws and regulations of the university.
