Also, UJ has gained many international accreditations for its programs, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, rehabilitation, and other disciplines. Our mission is to provide students with fulfilling learning experiences, conduct knowledge-producing research, and build strong social ties within an environment conducive to creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship making efficient use of resources and forging fruitful partnerships. The University of Jordan is celebrating its Golden Jubilee amid ever-growing global challenges to higher education. Over the past 50 years, the University has made great strides in becoming Jordan's leading and most comprehensive University that has provided successive generations with a solid education. That has contributed fundamentally to the making of modern Jordan. Much has been accomplished, and much is currently being done. There remains, however, much more to be done and ample space for improvement. The challenges of the times and the needs of a knowledge-based society make it imperative that the University charts new strategies for meeting the challenges and gaining global recognition. Excellence in education has been and will remain a priority for the University. However, there is a need to streamline academic programs in a manner that guarantees continued excellence while simultaneously meeting the demands of the rapidly-changing domestic, regional, and global job markets. The University will continue adapting to the internationally accepted best practices, and its faculty members will be encouraged to adopt blended-learning approaches. It will also vigorously seek to prepare its students for entrepreneurial careers by spreading entrepreneurship culture through integrating entrepreneurship education into curricula campus-wide. The University will focus on developing research capacity to meet domestic, regional, and global challenges. Providing a conducive research environment that promotes world-class scholarly activities is a high priority. The University's quest for global recognition necessitates establishing and nurturing Centers of Excellence that maintain a balance of basic and applied research and promote industry-oriented applied research and commercialization of research and development. Encouraging and supporting Business Incubators on- and off-campus will be high on the University's agenda. Faculty members will be encouraged to get involved and take initiatives in this regard. The University will also focus on transforming its students, faculty, and staff into global citizens capable of engaging not only each other but also people and cultures worldwide. We will seek to enhance campus diversity and further internationalize the student and faculty bodies. We envision the University as an intellectual and cultural melting pot that reflects positively on the values, lives, and careers of those affiliated with it. Students and faculty alike will be encouraged to contribute to University policy-making rather than be on the receiving end. With the University's internationalization initiatives, the dedication and hard work of its academic and administrative staff, and its students' excellence and creativity, the University will continue to lead the society and be Jordan's laboratory for innovation cradle of science and culture. They will pursue initiatives that will propel it towards joining the world-renowned universities' league in the not-so-distant future. View full university

From 1996 to 2012, tremendous growth took place at State University of New York at Fredonia, which included constructing new buildings and an expansion of enrollment by 25 percent or 1,000 undergraduates. Graduate enrollment doubled, minority students quadrupled, and international students increased by a magnitude of 10. A significant capital campaign raised nearly $17 million in private funds to support the State University of New York at Fredonia. Bethel College

Founded in 1947 by a group of Missionary Church visionaries, the goal was to create leaders for the world. In the seven decades that have passed since then, we have succeeded in that mission! While some things have changed on campus, we've continued to be intentional as we guide students along in their spiritual journey and path to academic success in some key ways: Our students' spiritual formation is about creating a holistic approach for each student's spiritual journey and personal discovery. That begins with being faithful to God and his word. Mentoring is a part of the Bethel community where students can connect with their peers, faculty, staff, and even alumni. At Bethel, students build lifelong relationships that will continue well past graduation. Academics in over 50 areas of study allow students to explore, grow, and prepare for their future careers. Each field of study is rich with knowledgeable professors seeking the success of our students. Every fall, students return to campus, ready to grow and ready to engage in experiences that will shape them for their future roles in the world. From undergraduate programs that train nurses to sign language interpreters to musicians to athletes, our students impact the world. Our students are offered many opportunities through task force trips, internships, and, finally, careers. We can offer more grad courses now than in the past through an expanded online program. Bethel offers graduate programs online, on-campus, and some as hybrids. We offer master's degrees in business administration (Online MBA), counseling (M.A. in Counseling Online), education (including Master's in Education Online, a school administrator license, Special Education Licensure Online, Transition to Teaching Licensure Program – On-campus (evening courses), Master of Reading and Literacy Online, Online Masters Degree in Educational Leadership), ministry (Master of Ministry Degree Online), Nursing (, Educator's track and Administrator track), Teaching, Theological Studies (Master of Ministry and Master of Arts in Theology). The experiences do not end when students leave campus. In our Bethel Community Stories section, we share stories about our alumni, as well as reports on current students, donors, faculty, staff, and friends whom we hope to provide inspiration and seeds of wisdom. We are a Christian community of learners dedicated to building lives of commitment to leadership in the Church and the world. Bethel provides liberating academic and co-curricular programs to challenge the mind, enlarge the vision, and equip the whole person for lifelong service. Our goal is to partner with our students and families to connect them with the resources they need to help their dreams become a reality. Your education at Bethel College is an investment in your future. We are confident that your time at Bethel will help you become the best version of yourself, with your future potential to become even more than you can imagine! Financial aid, grants, scholarships, loans – it can be overwhelming and confusing. While there are common steps for every institution for financial aid, there are also some unique requirements. Federal Aid – financial aid from the federal government, is available to help you pay for education expenses. Grants (Pell, TEACH, SEOG), loans (subsidized, unsubsidized, PLUS), and work-study are federal student aid types you must complete the FAFSA to apply for this aid. More information regarding federal aid can be found on their site. State Aid – Indiana residents may be eligible for grants from the state of Indiana to be applied to their direct tuition costs. These grants are need-based, and the FAFSA must be completed by April 15th to be considered for any applicable state grants. More information regarding state financial aid. Institutional Awards – Bethel College awards many types of institutional scholarships and grants to full-time undergraduate students. Awards may be based on merit or need and may be restricted to tuition costs only. Financial aid awards and policies are subject to change—review list of an expanded list of institutional awards and financial aid policies. Students can apply for an alternative loan to cover remaining educational expenses, but most will need a credit-worthy cosigner. Based on the federal government's criteria, students who receive federal financial aid may be selected for verification. This process is designed to verify the financial information provided on the FAFSA. A verification worksheet and federal tax information is required to complete the process. Additional information may also be requested. To be considered for all financial aid, information must be submitted within 30 days of the college's written request. In no instance will verification information be processed beyond the student's enrollment period. All federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships will post to your student account at the start of each semester, once all requirements have been met. Some grants or scholarships may have minimum enrollment, or housing requirements endowed scholarships often require a thank-you note from the recipient to be sent to the donor. Some federal programs require additional steps to be completed before funds being released, such as the direct loan and TEACH grant. From the original Oakwood-Slater Hall and Shupe Hall for underclassmen to the newer Logan Village for upper-level students, there's a rich history in our student dorms. In your home away from home, you'll build close friendships and always support our Student Life Staff. Bethel College's Spiritual Life is often referred to as the heartbeat of campus. Whether you are in the chapel, the classroom, or the dorm, you will find opportunities to grow spiritually. Three times a week, students and staff gather together for chapel. With student-led worship and a variety of speakers, this weekly practice allows the Bethel community to engage different perspectives and experiences. Our Spiritual Life team puts on events to engage the campus in spiritual practices and disciplines throughout the year. Read through the Bible in a weekend during Scripture 66, participate in prayer stations during the Collegiate Day of Prayer, or join the weekly alternative service, Vespers. Most significantly, though, Bethel College is a community of discipleship. There is a vibrant mentoring program on campus, and staff, faculty, and students all reap the benefits of these relationships. We hope you will take part in this essential piece of the Bethel experience.
  7. In November of 2001, a small group of Christians met in Chino, California, to consider establishing a Reformed Christian college on the West Coast. Parents and young people were often hesitant to travel great distances to the nearest Reformed college. Moreover, the West Coast had many students who would benefit from a specifically Reformed perspective in their college education. At Providence, we believe that an institution is most successful if its vision is stated clearly and integrated consciously into every aspect of community life. The principles that guide Providence are adherence to the teachings of Scripture, Christ-centeredness in both doctrine and practice, and faithful service in extending the Kingdom of God into every area of life. These principles are woven throughout the Providence experience, from school mission statement to syllabus. The name given to Providence Christian College speaks boldly of God's excellent provision in the past and our trust in His goodness to provide for this college's future. God's Word, "providence," means that our sovereign God controls, upholds, and rules everything so that nothing happens to us by chance. As one of our Reformed confessions states, as a result of God's Providence, "we can be patient when things go against us, thankful when things go well, and for the future, we can have good confidence in our faithful God and Father that nothing will separate us from His love" (Heidelberg Catechism, Lord's Day 10). Our name also demands that we remember His sovereign care every day in the future. Whenever we stop trusting His Providence, we will fail. Whenever we begin trusting in ourselves, we will fall. It is our prayer that Providence Christian College, and all those associated with it, will always promote its name, trusting in the compassionate care of our Heavenly Father. The eye-catching centerpiece to Providence's campus is McGavran Hall, named for India's famous Christian missionary, who was a significant influence on modern missions, Donald A. McGavran. Providence classrooms fill the second floor of this impressive three-story structure, recently remodeled and upgraded with newly installed wireless internet. Students enjoy a clean and functional learning environment, complete with wall-sized windows looking out on the campus with mountains in the background. As the Academic Resource Center (ARC) is located down the hall from the classrooms, academic help and a quiet study area are just a short walk away. Open until midnight, and the ARC is the place for late-night study groups and a workspace away from distractions. Pierce Hall is the most versatile and widely-used facility on campus. It is centrally located immediately to the north of Speer Hall. The upper floor houses the cafeteria, which is complete with outdoor balcony seating. Students share meals with Providence staff and faculty, along with the extended community of the campus's other residents and organizations. The Latourette Library stands tall at the north end of the campus. One large room of the second floor houses Providence's book collection and research materials. Against the walls, there are several study carrels and computers for exclusive use by Providence students. In addition to Providence's library, students have access to William Carey's expansive third-floor collection of theological and mission-oriented materials for study. Located at the edge of the campus to the west of the Pierce building, the Gladys Aylward Hall provides residential space for over 300 people. Providence occupies the northern wing of the building with men on the first floor and women on the second. Rooms consist mainly of two-person rooms complete with beds, desks, and ample storage space. Each hall has a spacious, typical restroom. In addition to residences, Aylward provides a well-stocked weight room, several community rooms, community kitchen facilities, barbeque, and mail service. Located on the north edge of campus along Elizabeth Street, Townsend Hall provides additional residential space. It boasts a newly renovated quad style living and a spacious inner courtyard. Providence is committed to affordable education for all of its students, which is why we partner with you to make an educational investment in your future. Because of hundreds of generous donors, 100% of our students receive financial aid. Providence holds its total cost at an average of $7500 less than other Christian colleges in California, and last year 72% of our students received a renewable academic scholarship. In order to help our students achieve their academic and religious goals during their time at Providence, we have instituted several financial aid packages, including Grants, Scholarships, Loans, and Work-Study Programs. Also, we offer the Providence Promise Loan Repayment Assistance Program. This program is unique to Providence and ensures that our graduates can successfully follow God's plan for their future without worrying about student loan debt. Our financial aid advisor is on hand to help you with anything you need and our admissions counselors are happy to let you know what the next steps are in applying for financial aid.

We will emphasize lifelong learning, spiritual vitality, and life skills, ensuring that our graduates make a Christ-centered contribution to the communities in which they live and work. We will always take seriously the diverse world in which we live. From the view that accepts the Christian Gospel as the fundamental under-girding for life, we will ensure that our students are trained and encouraged to serve Jesus Christ authentically while handling complexity and diversity effectively. We will seek to pioneer the development of innovative training, scholarly understanding and critical awareness in order to prepare people to plant churches, enter the cross-cultural ministry or the workplace in such a way as to build churches and communities that genuinely show the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. We will adapt to changes in our society and culture by ensuring the development of talented, highly-skilled, and motivated staff, effective governance, management, and leadership. We will achieve this by providing well-resourced facilities and a commitment to network in an unthreatened way with churches and institutions that share our vision for a better world through the sending and placing of well trained Christian leaders. You may find a description of our beliefs in the Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths. Trinity Bible College and Graduate School (TBC & G.S.) are accredited by The Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) in Good Standing, which is an institutional accrediting body recognized by Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and is listed in the Directory of Higher Education, published by the U.S. Department of Higher Education (D.E.). All of our academic programs share the central purpose of preparing Spirit-filled men and women for Christian service. Whether in the context of vocational ministry, education, business, music, counseling, or other areas of study, your personal, professional, and spiritual development are essential. Every B.A. and A.A. program at Trinity includes a core curriculum of classes in Bible and Theology. Most B.A. programs of study include the Major in Biblical Studies, particularly those with a vocational ministry focus. Due to the educational requirements of the Teacher Education and Business Administration programs, most students will choose the Biblical Studies Minor; however, some may choose the Biblical Studies Major to have a broader Bible basis. These programs of study are designed to integrate faith and learning. As you explore the variety of undergraduate degree programs offered at Trinity Bible College & Graduate School, you will discover that each Bachelor of Arts degree program has a Biblical Studies Major or Minor coupled with another Major or a Minor. That is because we believe that the study of Scripture becomes the foundation for Christian experience and life. Trinity Bible College & Graduate School offers an M.A. (Missional Leadership), an M.A. (Global Theology), and an M.A. (Rural Ministries). Let me tell you why I am so enthusiastic about these degrees. We have a highly experienced and qualified faculty. We believe that contemporary cutting edge education should be presented by people who believe what they teach and live it. The MA (Missional Leadership) is an innovative and inclusive degree that equips people in any leadership sphere, particularly Christian leadership. After serving for seven years in the U.K. and Europe and being exposed to rampant secularism and the postmodern milieu, we have sought to develop a program that will help leaders in these challenging but exciting times. Trinity Distance Education (D.E.) provides education and training to students across our nation. Whether you are just starting your college studies or are returning to finish your degree, our D.E. faculty has designed TBC online studies to help you learn the information and skills needed for your future, either as a vocational minister or as a Christian leader in another profession.
