      4. DayStar Adventist Academy is a rural Christian boarding school and a supporting ministry of the Seventh-‐day Adventist church. We are located in beautiful Castle Valley, Utah, an oasis surrounded by majestic red mesas and situated between the La Sal Mountains and the Colorado River. Positioned on 320 acres of farmland in the high desert of southeastern Utah, the school operates Castle Valley Farms where our students are trained in natural and sustainable methods of agriculture. Our program is unique in that through our agricultural and outdoor education programs, our students have abundant opportunities for spending time in nature and learning of the Creator through His works. Our school is small by design, enabling us to maintain a home-‐like environment. Our high staff-‐to-‐student ratio enables us to mentor students more effectively as well as focus on their individual needs. To provide an educational program that develops the intellect supplies training in skilled trades, and makes the Bible its foundation while inspiring students to seek God and discover His will for their lives. We believe the primary goal of true education is to build godly character—engaging the mind and body in activities and themes that are in harmony with God's Spirit. Jesus' upbringing is to be our example of true education. We aim that our young people will have the opportunity to gain heavenly wisdom by learning from God's lesson books as Christ did. We purpose—by our daily Bible classes, our times of worship and outreach, and our examples—to inspire students to love the study of God's word and to accept Jesus as their Best Friend. We are committed to providing abundant opportunities for our students to spend time in nature—learning of God through His created works. Through our unique program, we seek to help students develop practical life skills, critical thinking abilities, and a heart for service—equipping them to effectively minister to others. 5. Milo Adventist Academy is a Christian Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school nestled in the foothills of the southern Cascade Mountains in Oregon. The campus opened in 1954 and currently has over 400 acres of land bordered by the life-thriving, freshwater South Umpqua River and its surrounding luscious green hills. The only access to the campus is a nationally historically covered bridge that was constructed in 1962. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29th, 1979. Our philosophy is rooted in our commitment to creating opportunities for developing a Christlike character, educational excellence, and the discovery for the joy of service in a safe, nurturing, and friendly environment. As an extension of this mission, we believe that knowledge of God, communion with Him, and the emulation of His character are of vital importance. Only in cooperation with God can each student, in their quest for knowledge, reach the optimum development of their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual walks of life. At Milo, we are committed to ensuring that each of our students is equipped with the knowledge and skills that will prove beneficial in their further educational and professional endeavors after high school. An estimated 90% of all Milo graduates continue to a higher educational institution or trade school while the remaining students are employed almost immediately after their studies at Milo. While we believe that formal education is an important part of a child’s life, we also believe that other experiences are necessary for well-rounded development. We incorporate the teaching of practical working and living skills into our curriculum and student life programming and we encourage all students to become a thinker rather than a mere reflector of others’ thoughts. Milo Adventist Academy is fully accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), the Seventh-day Adventist North American Division Commission on Accreditation, and the Adventist Accreditation Association (AAA). Our MSA-CESS accreditation is an annual accreditation cycle where we meet and maintain a high standard of education practices on an annual basis. Further, our AAA accreditation is an ongoing six-year cycle of quality whereby the school demonstrates the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing improvement to our physical plant and education infrastructure. During our six-year accreditation cycle, our programs are assessed and their impact on student learning concerning the MSA-CESS and AAA criteria/indicators and other accreditation factors are measured for improvement. We are expected to participate in self-study training provided by the AAA throughout the 18 months before the full study and observation visit. This study process culminates in the refinement of a 3–5 year schoolwide action plan. Throughout the cycle, we are expected to address the schoolwide action plan and demonstrate evidence of acceptable student achievement and school improvement. Using the MSA-CESS and AAA criteria, indicators, and other accreditation factors, a visiting committee will base its approving accreditation status recommendation based on evidence contained in the self-study and encountered during the school visit indicating first, the degree to which high achievement by all students is occurring, second, the capacity of the school to implement, monitor, and accomplish the schoolwide action plan aligned to the areas of greatest need impacting student achievement and finally, the school’s position concerning institutional and/or governing authority expectations. 6. Newbury Park Adventist Academy (NPAA), a Christian co-educational secondary high school, was established in 1948 and located in the beautiful Conejo Valley of Ventura County. Our philosophy of education is based on the belief that the ultimate purpose of man is to respond to the character of God and His unconditional love through love and service to our fellow men, and that this response should be evident in all aspects of instruction. We believe that God has a place for each individual in His eternal plan and that an important lesson of education is to know the will of God and be willing to do His will. Since the principle of separation of church and state precludes religious instruction in public school, Seventh-day Adventists have established their school system tailored to educate the whole nature of man—physical, mental, social, and spiritual. It is a well-established fact that young people develop ideas from the influences surrounding them as much as they do from formal instruction. They tend to emulate the habits and customs of their associates. Therefore, Newbury Park Adventist Academy emphasizes providing a setting where spiritual ideals and social skills can be developed along with intellectual and physical achievement in a college preparatory environment. Newbury Park Adventist Academy purposes to provide quality Christian Seventh-day Adventist education. The school strives to promote reverence for God and kindness to man. NPAA offers a college-prep program. It is the objective of the Board of Trustees: To operate an academy, grades 9-12 in harmony with the standards recommended by the General Conference, Pacific Union Conference, and Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. To teach the subjects outlined in the Education Code of the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the State of California. To provide a college preparatory curriculum in a Quality School program. To develop in its students’ Christian ideals and characters that will lead them to consecrate themselves for Christian training and service View full school
      7. Taipei Adventist American School is accredited by the North American branch of the Seventh-day Adventist education network. Founded in 1872, this network is the largest Protestant private education system in the world with over 7,790 universities, colleges, high schools, and elementary schools serving the needs of more than 1.8 million students. In the United States alone there are over 1,100 schools in all 50 states. The mission of TAAS is to provide American education to Taiwanese and international students with foreign passports. Its curriculum, teachers, and educational environment are equivalent to an American-based school. This level of quality and professionalism allows its students to enter American schools and universities on the same terms as domestic students. The mission of Taipei Adventist American School is to provide an academically challenging, Seventh-day Adventist, value-based, American education to K-8 Taiwanese and international students with foreign passports in the greater Taipei area. TAAS is committed to a nurturing environment that will provide opportunities for spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth. The vision of TAAS is to be the best-known school in Taipei for providing the most holistic instruction possible by following God’s blueprint for education. Here at TAAS, we understand the importance of training the whole child including the mental, physical, social and spiritual, or moral values. We use a top curriculum with small classes that have proven to be successful for students that have passed through our education system. We also provide opportunities for students to learn outside of the classroom through educational field trips, overnight trips like outdoor school, and even mission trips to other countries. Studies have shown that students who go through our system consistently score at least one grade level higher than the national average for the United States. The longer a child stays in our system, the better the chance they will have to be at the top of their class. We also believe that no matter a child’s academic level, religion, or nationality they can be a part of our school family. We strive to meet each student where they are at and help them grow in a diverse environment. This has proven to help students develop better social skills with those who are different. This in turn will help them be more successful at working with others when they are adults. Here at TAAS, our goal is to provide our children with the best possible education that will help them be successful in all areas of life, especially the spiritual and moral. Many parents have found the Christian setting to be ideal for their children as they experience the love and acceptance our teachers provide. View full school

      9. Hong Kong Adventist Academy offers a Christian educational program from pre-primary to Grade 12. The school is located in Clearwater Bay, the southeastern part of Hong Kong. The majority of students come from the communities of Tseung Kwan O, Sai Kung district, and Hong Kong Island, but some of them are from as far as the continents of North America, South America, and Africa. Hong Kong Adventist Academy offers an international curriculum that combines the best features of the American, British, and Hong Kong curriculum. The school is organized into four sections, namely, pre-primary, elementary, middle school, and high school. In the pre-primary section, we offer International Primary Curriculum with added Chinese elements. In the elementary and middle school section, we offer a hybrid of the American common core, International Primary Curriculum, and local Chinese and Mathematics curriculum. In the high school section, we offer a US high school diploma program in affiliation with Griggs International Academy (GIA). Thus, the senior secondary students would be able to graduate with an accredited US high school diploma offered by GIA. Our school does not exist just for the imparting of academic knowledge. An Adventist pioneer Ellen White once wrote “True education means more than the perusal of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man.” Thus in our school, values and beliefs of Christianity are not just tacked onto an academic program – they are foundational and central to everything that happens within our school. We believe that what this world needs more than anything now is men and women of character who are prepared to make a difference, and this includes both teachers and students. In a world that seems to have lost its direction, we endeavor to provide an education program that delivers not only high academic outcomes but more importantly, has a positive eternal impact on our students. 10. The Pre Kindergarten program runs five days a week and a minimum of two days of attendance per week is required. Students are involved in a variety of play-based learning opportunities targeted at developing their interests along with foundational literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge. The program runs during school hours on school days. Our Pre Kindergarten teacher is supported by a teacher’s assistant, and specialist teachers take the students for music, sport, information technology, and library classes. Teachers assess students regularly. A variety of different methods are used (including tests, assignments, oral work, examinations, practical and excursion activities). Each secondary student is given an overview of the term’s activities for each subject at the beginning of the term. The overview includes an individual subject assessment plan. Primary School reports are compiled after Terms 2 and 4. In between time a student folio of works is presented to the home throughout the term to maintain ongoing parental involvement and communication with the school. Secondary School reports are compiled after Terms 2 and 4. At the end of Term 1 and an interim report is sent home noting the child’s current position. Examinations are conducted for secondary school grades at the end of Terms 2 and 4. Parent nights are held regularly throughout the year to allow for extended home and school discussion of individual student’s progress. 11. Since 1921, the Campus adventiste du Salève is the only French-speaking Adventist institution of higher education in Europe. The Campus belongs to a worldwide network of Adventist education, the largest in the Protestant field. October 6th, 1921, The first Principal of this Campus, L.L Caviness, declared in his inaugural speech: «The purpose of this school is to prepare men and women to serve God and Humanity. We are here to do good around us ». Practically 100 years later, the purpose is unchanged. We hope that every student on our Campus may feel a purpose. That each one may build their life founded on the acquisition of knowledge and know-how based on Christian values. Throughout the years, so many human adventures have occurred on this Campus. It might be time to come and experience your own! Coming to visit the Campus, or coming to study here, you will see for yourself why the Campus has a special space in thousands of people's hearts around the world. The Campus considers that its educative mission would be incomplete without the transmission of values on the purpose of life, a person's dignity, and living out Adventist faith. These Christian values that the Campus carries out are based on the Bible. We want to encourage each student to live an authentic Christian life in a spirit of love and service. We encourage all members of the Campus to realize their full potential through personal development at different levels and to benefit from the high quality, creative, and challenging learning opportunities we provide. Right from the first years after the Adventist pioneers came to establish themselves in Europe at the beginning of the nineteenth century, they wished to establish a missionary school. In 1921, two old hotels, a farm and a magnificent property of around 20 hectares, were bought in Collonges-sous-Salève in Haute Savoie. The 'Séminaire Adventiste du Salève' as it was first called, opened its doors on October 6th, 1921, welcoming 76 students. At that time, the school offered training as a Bible teacher, school teacher, or door to door salesman and office worker. Work on the farm, gardening and woodwork, cooking courses, and sewing completed the theoretical teaching in a classroom. The Adventist theology faculties' primary function is to give Theological and pastoral education to future pastors of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Seminary has a partnership with the Faculté de théologie protestante de Strasbourg since 1983, enabling students to access a complete range of Theology degrees, such as a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree. In addition, the Faculty has signed academic partnerships with Andrews University in the United States, the Laval University in Canada, and the Adventist Theology Seminaries of Friedensau in Germany and Sagunto in Spain. The Alfred Vaucher Library is the Resource Centre of the Campus adventiste du Salève. It serves the Theology Faculty, the Institut de français langue étrangère, and the Human Sciences Institute. It also serves teaching staff, Primary and Secondary School students. The Alfred Vaucher Library is a learning media Library you can find books, periodicals, audio cassettes, cd-ROMs, DVDs, video cassettes, slides, posters, and micro files. The Library provides several consultation sites. The Library's main function is to serve the four learning departments. However, it is open to everyone. On-site consultation is free of charge. Public lending of books is only available to students with a student card and registered library users. In order to become a registered user, you will need your ID card and a valid email address. Campus ministries are an active part of the Campus' spiritual life. Aware of student's difficulties, we aim to stand by students to help them fulfill their goals and calling. Throughout the numerous spiritual activities and events offered on Campus, we want students to find spiritual nourishment and the opportunity to put their faith into action. The program offers different weekly worship opportunities. The chaplain and his team are at students' and staff's disposal for visits. Members of the Chaplains team participate in the "Spiritual Life Committee," which produces an attractive spiritual events calendar. It aims to be creative and strives to encourage students to participate in numerous worship opportunities such as prayer walks, recreative evenings, worship moments, festive meals, freshman welcoming meals, choir, sabbath-opening programs, afterglow, sabbath school. Being the liaison between the Campus church, the Students Association, and the nearby communities, the team collaborates in various programs, seminars, weeks of prayer, ecumenical meetings in Saint-Julien, etc. The student's association (Association des étudiants du Campus -AECAS) is very active. It organizes events on Campus (some with help from the chaplain's team) to raise funds for students' well-being. Our school of language has been offering its French language courses for over 90 years. Thousands of students from all over the world have come to spend, either a year or just a summer on our Campus to learn French. Our courses are structured to correspond to all levels: from breakthrough level to effective proficiency level (A1 breakthrough, A2 way stage, B1 threshold, B2 vantage level, C1 effective operational proficiency level). Our goal is to offer an ideal learning environment for our students to learn French. Therefore, our school keeps classes down to a maximum of 15 students per class. Our reputation of excellence has grown with years thanks to the high standard of our French courses and to a team of qualified and dedicated teachers, attentive to students' individual progress and specific needs. Our primary purpose is to teach french. Moreover, the Institut de français langue étrangère aims to initiate students to French culture. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of cultural programs such as visits, trips around France, French cuisine courses, theater, cinema, and art gallery outings. The IFLE prepares students for the French general examinations of DELF, DALF, and TCF, which are aligned with the Common European Reference Framework. These diplomas are delivered by the French Ministry of National Education. The examinations are taken at the end of May, at the end of the school year.
      12. Central Philippine Adventist College is a private educational Christian college in Alegria, Murcia, Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second-largest Christian school system. The college is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities-Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI), the Adventist Accrediting Agency (AAA) of General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and by the Department of Education of Southern Asia Pacific Division. Our vision is, "Central Philippine Adventist College trains students to be productive, service-oriented, and win-some witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ." Our mission is "To be a Christian institution of academic excellence, continuously upgrading its faculty and facilities, and establishing healthy linkages with other institutions, whose students and graduates perform creditably and honorably in their chosen profession, and respond to the holistic needs of local and global communities." Shortly after the Central Philippine Union Mission was organized in 1964, its leaders dreamt of a college in Central Philippines. Following the dream, CPUM spent years of "sightseeing" activities over all of the Visayas searching for a favorable location. Finally, the search ended in Alegria, Murcia, 23 kilometers from Bacolod City, with the purchase of 71 hectares for P 600,000. A donation of $ 64,000 by Mrs. May Chung enlarged the property by 35 hectares. Events moved more rapidly after 1979. In 1981, the second quarter's 13th Sabbath School Overflow Offering set aside by the General Conference for the Central Philippine Union Mission College project gave it a much-needed funding boost. On August 12, 1981, seventeen years after the dream was born, the college's groundbreaking ceremonies took place. Keynote speaker was Dr. C. D. Hirsch, General Conference Director of Education, and the guest speaker was Negros Occidental governor, the Honorable Alfredo Montelibano, Jr. The actual construction began on October 2, 1981, with architect-contractor Raymundo R Victoriano donating his services as supervising engineer. On June 14, 1982, registered with the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS) as Central Philippine Adventist School, the college opened its door. There were 100 students and 17 faculty members. Pastor David Recalde was the president. As a Junior or vocational college, Rural Health Nursing, Building Construction, Agriculture, and Biblical Studies were the first courses. The Central Philippine Adventist College campus is located on a 115- hectare hilly slope of Brgy. Alegria, Murcia, Negros Occidental. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Mara para, the campus is 23 kilometers east of Bacolod City. It can be reached after about a 30-minute ride by jeepney or private vehicles. If you come by public conveyance, you can proceed to the Murcia or Mambucal, Murcia terminals near Libertad market, and take a jeepney bound for Murcia's municipality, dropping at the market area. Then ask for directions for Alegria/CPAC bound tricycles. The welcome marker near the barangay road signals you are only half a kilometer away from the campus known for its refreshingly rural and scenic environment. * Personnel from Negros Occidental Conference and Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (both located in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City) can give directions to the CPAC campus.
      13. Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) is located in Putting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite, Philippines, in Laguna – 50 kilometers or about an hour's drive by car from Manila. The 165-hectare University is on an elevated area overlooking Laguna de Bay. A sixty-kilometer stretch of the Laguna Lake, the majestic Mount Makiling range, and an overview of a beautiful canyon comprise what one Adventist educator has termed "the million-dollar view" of AUP. The site is just 30 minutes away from Tagaytay City—acclaimed to be one of the country's most relaxed and most beautiful cities. From the expressway, motorists pass through the Sta. Rosa exit before turning right to travel along the road that the Coca-Cola Bottlers plant to the Laguna Technopark and Nuvali, the Ayala of the South. AUP is a residential campus. Our mission is to provide holistic quality Seventh-day Adventist Christian education in a nurturing environment of campus living. The University has made a concerted effort and remains committed to making residential living comfortable. AUP affirms the values gained from being primarily a residential or boarding school. Upon admission, a new student agrees to live in a residential hall unless covered by exemptions. New students who are generally and mostly minors must begin their year in the residence halls inside the University. Several professional and cultural organizations on campus actively seek to enrich the classroom's work and provide opportunities for leadership and worthwhile social experience. Each student is urged to participate in several religious organizations and maintain membership in one or more clubs. For his/her professional club, the student is expected to naturally choose the one in line with his/her future vocation or primary field. Club membership is optional, and the program provides a regular meeting time. Club constitutions are subject to the approval of the Student Affairs Committee. Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) is an institution of higher learning operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. However, it accepts application from individuals irrespective of race, color, sex, and religious affiliation, whose manner of acting, feeling, and thinking are in harmony with the objectives, values, and beliefs of the institution and whose capacities and abilities show the possibility of achieving a satisfactory scholastic record. Although church membership is not a pre-requisite for admission, applicants are expected to abide by the university's rules and regulations. To qualify for admission, applicants must give evidence of good moral character, intellectual capacity, good health, financial capability, and a desire to learn. Admission to the University is a privilege and not a right. Commitment to academic and intellectual excellence with experience. Demonstrate critical reasoning and independent thinking. Create a proactive environment responsive to community needs. Instill a positive work attitude. SDA Education is a unique system with distinctive features. These features should be studied prayerfully and carefully to understand how to implement them properly in SDA schools. Their incorporation into the school program should be hastened that God may bountifully bless the administration, staff, and students with unprecedented spiritual and educational progress. While many of these features have been included in SDA schools, others are not apparent. Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) traces its roots and humble beginnings to the missionary-oriented people who had a strong desire to develop young people for usefulness in life, more specifically in preparing efficient workers for the different Christian branches service and ultimately for citizenship in the kingdom of God. The ever-multiplying number of PUC enrollment has inspired the administration to purchase yet a more significant property, which comprises 165 hectares of land located at Putting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite in 1972. The same missionary spirit that inspired the pioneers in the past has stimulated the administrators, faculty, and students to work hard, sacrifice time, energy, and effort leaving behind the conveniences of life in the city to move to the new PUC' mountain' location. The year 1979 saw the first batch of newcomers and sophomore students in this new campus, and, in 1981, with the movement of the juniors and seniors from Baesa, the campus transfer was completed. "Shine on Forever, Dear AUP," a compelling command that knows no limit, keeps inspiring the university leaders, workers, and students from all over the world to strive harder to reach the heights of excellence. Students continuously top the board exams and the other academic competitive tests, which helped pave the way for the University to acquire Deregulated Status on October 22, 2001, and to eventually be awarded an Autonomous Status on October 27, 2003, for its meritorious achievement in the provision of instruction, research, community extension services, high performance of graduates in licensure examinations and for maintaining a tradition of integrity, excellence, and untarnished reputation in the educational service. On March 7, 2009, the Commission on Higher Education had again awarded AUP renewal of its Autonomous Status from March 2009 to March 2014.

While rigorous in its academic program, the atmosphere on campus is one of family and spiritual nurture. If you are looking for a life-changing graduate educational experience, you will find AIIAS a wonderful place to study. We hope that you will consider it seriously as a door to your future. The Seventh-day Adventist Church established the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) because of its commitment to meet the church's growing needs for college teachers, church leaders, educators, health professionals, and treasurers with international-level, graduate education. The Seventh‐day Adventist philosophy of education is Christ‐centered. Adventists believe that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God's character and purposes can be understood as revealed in nature, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. The distinctive characteristics of Adventist education‐‐derived from the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White‐‐point to the redemptive aim of a real education: to restore human beings into the image of their Maker. Seventh‐day Adventists believe that God is infinitely loving, wise, and powerful. He relates to human beings personally, presenting His character as the ultimate norm for human conduct and His grace as the means of restoration. Adventists recognize that human motives, thinking, and behavior have fallen short of God's ideal. In its broadest sense, education is a means of restoring human beings to their original relationship with God. Working together, homes, schools, and churches cooperate with divine agencies in preparing learners for responsible citizenship in this world and in the world to come. Adventist education imparts more than academic knowledge. It fosters a balanced development of the whole person—spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Its time dimensions span eternity. It seeks to develop a life of faith in God and respect for the dignity of all human beings to build character akin to that of the Creator to nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others' thoughts to promote loving service rather than a selfish ambition to ensure maximum development of each individual's potential to embrace all that is true, right, and beautiful. The home is society's primary and most basic educational agency. Parents are the first and most influential teachers and have the responsibility to reflect God's character to their children. Moreover, the whole familial setting shapes the values, attitudes, and worldview of the young. Along with society's other educational agencies, the church and the school build on and supplement the work of the home. Practical educational work requires collaboration among the home, church, and school. All levels of Adventist schooling build on the foundation laid by the home and church. The Christian teacher functions in the classroom as God's minister in the plan of redemption. The greatest need of students is to accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior and commit to a life of Christian values and service. The formal and non‐formal curricula help students reach their spiritual, mental, physical, social, and vocational development potential. Preparing students for a life of service to their family, church, and the broader community is the school's primary aim. In 1957, several such graduate programs, primarily in the area of religion, were offered on the campus of Philippine Union College (PUC), now the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP). These programs were organized into a Theological Seminary, which became an institution of the Far Eastern Division of Seventh-day Adventists in 1978. The Seminary success led to the expansion of graduate programs into other areas, such as public health. Thus, on May 5, 1987, when AIIAS came into being by Presidential Decree 2021, it was composed of two schools: the Seminary and the Graduate School. From its early days and its campus programs, AIIAS has offered programs at off-campus locations to facilitate the church's graduate-level educational needs throughout the region. More recently, cohort programs expanded to South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 1991, AIIAS was moved to the present campus near Silang, Cavite. In 1996, AIIAS became an institution of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. AIIAS is recognized for being innovative and dynamic. AIIAS Online was established in the year 2001 to offer quality, Christian-oriented graduate education to dedicated professionals wherever they may be in the world. In 2007, AIIAS distinguished itself as one of the first Adventist educational institutions to graduate students with master's degrees from an online learning program entirely on the internet. Also, in 2007, AIIAS began the first Seventh-day Adventist doctor of philosophy program in the business.

      17. Coralwood us part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist school network. The Seventh-day Adventist educational system includes elementary and high schools, colleges, and universities worldwide. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. A vibrant and growing school for Kindergarten through grade 12, Coralwood Adventist Academy focuses on the whole child approach––nurturing student growth spiritually, academically, physically, and socially through a Christ-centered curriculum. CAA staff and faculty are committed to providing the best education for their students. We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, and the Bible is our foundation. Our staff is committed to providing high-quality education in a Christ-filled environment. We believe that real education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student, preparing them for the joy of service in this life and the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we encourage each student to: Develop a personal relationship with God and others as stated in Matthew 22:37-39 Master the necessary academic skills Value labor, physical and mental, as the blessing God intended Cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended. CAA is blessed to have an active Home & School Committee that works to "unite the home, school and the church in their endeavors to provide Seventh-day Adventist Christian education." Parents are an essential part of a student's educational experience. At CAA, we recognize parents' roles and appreciate your support. The Fall Fair Fundraiser was a wonderful evening of fun, great food, and unusual crafts and treats. The CAA gym was filled with fantastic aroma, including freshly made crepes, samosas, and many other delicious snacks. Children (of all ages) had a blast jumping on the huge bouncy castle (supporting Mrs. Madden's classroom) and playing retro video games (fundraising for CAA grade 9 graduation). The CAA Student Association sold popcorn and held a raffle for Tim's card, raising money for more fun events for Coralwood students. Many talented local creators were also present selling jams, quilted items, and so much more. The Home and School Committee should be commended for their hard work putting together this successful event in support of CAA. Thank you to all the vendors who shared their work and talents, and a very special thank you to all of the attendees: families, friends, and neighbors of Coralwood Adventist Academy. Those who have studied Adventist education and its benefits have seen many reasons parents choose our school system. Studies have shown that "Adventist education plays a significant role in the development of religious faith" and students of the Adventist school system are "two times more likely to pay tithe, three times more likely to choose a partner of the same faith, and two times more likely to stay active church members.
      18. Established in 1953, Crawford Adventist Academy has been part of the Toronto community for more than 6 decades. We provide a nurturing, disciplined and healthy environment for our students – an environment that develops the whole child. Our schools generate some of the most sought after graduates. If you are looking for an education with a difference, if you desire an environment where your child will thrive, we invite you to consider the Crawford Adventist Academy family of schools. The history of Crawford Adventist Academy (CAA) began over 60 years ago with a single elementary school (grades 1-6) in the 1950's as the Toronto Junior Academy (TJA). TJA was created by the faithful members of the Willowdale Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1953. One year later a new larger facility was constructed thanks, in part, to the generous donation of philanthropist, Dr. Erwin Crawford. Twenty-five years later, on August 15, 1978, the Toronto Adventist District School Board (TADSB) was organized as a corporate body by a number of Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Churches in Toronto to operate Christian schools, beginning with TJA, that would model the whole-person development model and values of the denomination. Today there are 38 member churches with over 12,000 members who, through the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and their local churches, contribute over $1.8 Million (about 30%) to the required operating budget of our schools. As TJA grew, the need for a Junior High School (grade 7-8) and a High school (grade 9-12) division became the goal. This goal was realized in 1981 on the original TJA premises at Finch & Bathurst. The school was expanded and renamed Crawford Adventist Academy in honour of Dr. Erwin Crawford. In 1995 a Junior Kindergarten (JK) program was added to CAA Elementary in response to the community's request. The JK program has remained at or near full capacity ever since. CAA elementary division (grade JK-6) is currently looking to expand both its program and facilities over the next two years. The Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education is Christ-centered. Adventists believe that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God's character and purposes can be understood as revealed in the Bible, in Jesus Christ, and in nature. The distinctive characteristics of Adventist education-derived from the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. Our Mission is to build and operate a network of schools organized to facilitate children and families desirous of achieving their highest potential. They accomplish this by developing their physical, mental, spiritual and social faculties within a structured, disciplined, healthy and nurturing environment.
      19. Cariboo Adventist Academy (CAA) is a coeducational day school that offers Kindergarten to Grade 12, located in beautiful Williams Lake, British Columbia. We are operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Churches of the Williams Lake area in conjunction with the British Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The school operates within a Seventh-day Adventist community in the Cariboo region, but all students who desire a quality, Christian education are welcome. CAA is accredited by the Board of Regents of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and is classified as a Group 1 school (Kindergarten to Grade 12) under the BC Independent School Act. The history of Cariboo Adventist Academy begins in the camps of lumberjacks working in the Cariboo. In 1954, Dan Basaraba and the Jacobson brothers were involved in setting up lumber camps and sawmills in areas around the Cariboo, such as Beaver Valley, Williams Lake, and Horsefly. As Seventh-day Adventists, they kept the Sabbath, and therefore, so did their businesses. The ability to work a job that did not require breaking the Sabbath attracted many other Adventists to their businesses, as well as their families, and soon there were children in need of instruction. Church schools were opened up on an as-needed basis. In 1956, a one-room school was opened up at the Basaraba lumber camp, taught by Alice Jewkes. In 1956, after evangelistic efforts, C.S. Cooper helped found the first Seventh-day Adventist church in Williams Lake. The new church met in a rented facility, where they also operated a school Ethel Sawchuk taught in that first one-room school in Williams Lake, for the 1956-57 school year. Grades 8 to 12 are taught by subject. Students move from room to room to accommodate the various classes that they have chosen. Most of their classes are taught in the gym complex. Students in grades 10-12 may take some of their elective courses online through West Coast Adventist School, our sister school offering a distributed learning alternative, or through GROW, a distributed learning center at School District No. 27 in Williams Lake. Students and parents can check grades online through My Education BC. My Ed is a student information system provided by the BC Ministry of Education, which teachers use to enter grades and attendance, and is used by the province to enter marks on student transcripts. Students and parents of students in grades 10-12 may use this website to check for missing assignments or see their current progress in a course.

SDABC schools will continuously develop strategies to make students feel valued, respected, and connected within the school community. This will include the protection of the students' physical safety, social connectedness, inclusiveness as well as protection from all forms of bullying, regardless of their gender, race, culture, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity and expression while remaining consistent with the Seventh-day Adventist faith-values, cultural perspective, and philosophical values. The Avalon Adventist Christian Academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that real education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student, preparing them for the joy of service in this life and the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we encourage each student to develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men, as stated in Matthew. Master the necessary academic skills, value labor, physical and mental, as the blessing God intended, cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended. The Avalon Adventist Christian Academy is operated in harmony with the Office of Education's guidance and direction, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Few decisions are as important—and potentially life-changing—as choosing a school for your children. In this video, you will learn some of the histories of Adventist Christian education. Hear from some of our committed Christian teachers and see how Adventist Christian education provides a quality academic experience in a caring Christian environment. Any student engaging in activities of promoting hatred, intolerance, aggression, or hostility, including bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, intimidation, threatening or violent behavior against any individual or group because of their gender, race, culture, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity and expression threaten the safety and wellbeing of students. These behaviors may occur at school, at a school-related activity, or in any other circumstance where engaging in the activity will impact the school environment. These activities above will immediately become subject to a disciplinary review, which may include consultation with parents and legal authorities. A student's age, unique personal needs, and mitigating circumstances will be considered in such a review, and every sensible option to educate and remediate will be explored. However, the protection of every student's physical safety, social connectedness, inclusiveness, and protection from all forms of bullying will carry the highest priority. Major behavioral infractions such as these may result in removal from enrollment at an SDABC school and referral to law enforcement. SDABC schools and the authority will take all reasonable steps to prevent retaliation by a person against a student who has made a complaint concerning a breach of this policy. Hear from administrators, teachers, parents, and students about the quality academics, strong curriculum, and integrated spiritual and moral content of our school. Our students have a wide array of opportunities provided to them. Whether being involved in the community, joining in on a school trip, or sports team. Our students will leave Avalon with a fantastic experience.
