- The New York Film Academy was established by veteran producer Jerry Sherlock in 1992, who delivered such works of art as "The Hunt for the Red October." Supported by companions of his who needed to send their youngsters to film school, yet found the costs too expensive, Sherlock outlined a middle school and, more practically, established on the rule of learning by doing. Roused by the possibility that to figure out how to make motion pictures, one should make motion pictures, Sherlock and his partners outlined genuinely special educational programs. Mixing a blend of standard film school guidelines with another approach, the Academy accentuates coursework based around students going out and shooting movies as a significant aspect of their coursework. Students compose, create, coordinate, and alter their particular unique movies while likewise filling in as crewmembers on their fellow schoolmates' movies to increase broad on-set experience. This dedication to learning by doing applies to the majority of the programs the Academy now offers, with students working with industry-standard gear in world-class facilities. At the Academy, students can browse a wide variety of visual and performing arts programs that incorporate Filmmaking, Acting for Film, 3D Animation and Visual Effects, Broadcast Journalism, Cinematography, Digital Editing, Documentary Filmmaking, Game Design, Graphic Design, Musical Theater, Photography, Producing, and Screenwriting. New York Film Academy, Abu Dhabi The New York Film Academy, Abu Dhabi, offers short, concentrated workshops and one-year programs and two-year associate degrees in film production, acting, and finance. As of now, it has a student strength of 80 with branches in Los Angeles, New York, and, starting a year ago, Abu Dhabi. Students in the district have much to anticipate. We train students to form a new industry. The standard for movie producers is to begin making movies with a restricted spending plan, exhibit them at festivals, get chosen by new producers, and begin growing as funding for the film increases. This is a unique path that students take and can take to grow. We plan to motivate students to locate their voices and make movies at a cost-effective budget, include them in celebrations, and bring production back to this district. Film festivals are to be complimented because they are pulling at an extraordinary level of intrigue. They can draw in such fantastic ability. The program at the institute is hands-on and more practical than theoretical. Students have been taking a shot at film-production and planning on what we should do later on.

- Abu Dhabi Indian School, which is a premier community school in the Gulf, could well be considered a twin of this youthful nation which came into being in the year 1971. The school began functioning in the year 1975 from the humble premises of the India Social Centre, Abu Dhabi, to cater to the needs of the children of the Indian community in Abu Dhabi. As the strength of students grew, the need for new premises became evident. Mr. Mohan Jashanmal, CEO of Jashanmal National Co. and members of the community were instrumental in approaching the late President of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan with this in view. He generously gifted a plot of land, measuring 175mx 150m, in Shabia Muroor, New Airport Road, to the Indian Ambassador to build an educational institution. The school was moved to the sprawling new premises in the year 1980. It has been functioning effectively for the past 32 years and has distinguished itself in various areas. Our students have distinguished themselves in various fields and are well placed in life not only in India, but in different parts of the world. We are committed to impart the quality education that is holistic in its perspective. Well qualified and experienced staff are appointed to train and develop all kinds of skills among the students at various levels i.e. kindergarten, primary, middles, secondary and senior secondary. Academic achievement is enhanced by energizing the body and the mind through sports and cultural activities. The students attend school in a healthy, harmonious and competitive environment and graduate ready to face the challenges of the world with confidence. It is our sincere endeavour to light the fire of inquiry, commitment and zeal in the young minds that step into our portals and help them chart their courses in life. We are dedicated to hone young children into becoming global citizens of the future. Being away from home, we enlighten and teach them to respect values that are inherently Indian, so that they remain connected to their native country. Our students also learn to respect the culture and values of the UAE since they enjoy the added advantage of being in a country that is close to home in more ways than one. Living in the UAE, in a multinational and multicultural milieu, they are exposed to the international community and learn what global citizenship is all about in simple ways. Summary of ADEK Inspection The Abu Dhabi Indian School provides an acceptable quality of education. Senior leaders and the governing body have established and maintained a safe and caring environment in which respect for others is very highly developed. Students conduct themselves maturely and are keen to learn. The school fully integrates students with special educational needs (SEN) into classes. Students achieve well in the Kindergarten and the secondary school. Students leave at the end of grade 12 with good qualifications, particularly in the key subjects of mathematics, English and science. Students in the middle and primary schools make less progress than those in the Kindergarten and secondary school. This is because teaching does not match students’ interests and needs as effectively. Students achieve in line with expectations during their time in these parts of the school. Throughout the school the most able, the least able and those with SEN make less progress than they could because teachers are not adapting work to meet their specific needs. School’s strengths Students’ attainment and progress in the Kindergarten and in the high school, particularly in the key academic subjects Relationships between students and adults are extremely positive and courteous The heritage and culture of the UAE and India are strongly promoted and valued Care and welfare routines are effective. The school provides a safe and secure environment for learning.
