Kuwait Indian School was established on 14 November 1985 by Late Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi who was the Founder and Chairman of the school. The school at first was launched in Farwaniya as a Primary School. Despite the massive destruction of the school property during the invasion, our school did not wind up. Soon after the invasion, the school opened its door to restart it immediately. The first batch of Class X students of our school appeared for the CBSE Class X examination in March 2009 and came out with flying colors and 100% pass. The School has already been upgraded to a Senior Secondary School by the CBSE. The first batch of class XII that appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Exam in March 2011 came out with a 100% pass and over 90% of them came out with distinction.
