Since the foundation of USTHB, more than one hundred thousand students have studied in it. Nowadays, a community of nearly twenty-five thousand people is living on the campus, some twenty thousand students and more than one thousand five hundred teachers and workers in administrative and technical services. Meanwhile, more than forty thousand students have been graduated up to now USTHB in different cycles (Degree, Master’s degree, and Doctorate. We are a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) magnet residential high school for scholars in grades 9-12 who enjoy stretching their brains in new and challenging directions. Our students hail from across the state of Maine and around the world. They come for an inquiry, camaraderie, and a unique high school experience. Here students, staff, and faculty engage in energetic intellectual sparring served up with encouragement and support. Why Limestone? Following the 1994 closure of Loring Air Force Base, the Maine State Legislature chartered and funded the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM) at the site of the Limestone High School. MSSM also acquired the former nearby elementary school and promptly converted it to a 150-bed dormitory. The fall of 2017 saw the first time we hosted our varsity athletic program independent from the Limestone Eagles, LCS, as they recently merged with Caribou High School. The MSSM Penguins enjoy two varsity level athletic teams in all three seasons, both boys and girls. The inaugural fall season bodes well for our scholar-athletes as both soccer teams qualified for the play-offs while several of the cross-country runners advanced to the State meet. Some twenty-plus years later (we hosted our first reunion, the 20th, in 2016) MSSM continues to prepare its students for admission to the world’s top universities and colleges, and we enjoy a hundred percent placement rate year after year. Although a majority of our graduates enter STEM-related fields, all disciplines are being represented. It is fascinating to learn of our alumni’s multi-faceted passions that lead them around the globe but, thankfully, many find their way back to the State of Maine. Throughout the years, MSSM continues to rank strongly in such publications as US News and World Report. The students will have a choice to take the Natural Science High School Diploma Equivalency or the Social Science High School Equivalency Diploma. Erudio students have been accepted in numerous National (ITB, UI, UGM, etc.) and Private Universities (Binus, UPH, UNPAR, etc.) using these diplomas. WSCS is the only university in Poland where the members of the Rector’s Advisory Board are at the same time general managers of the world’s biggest IT companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, Intel, IBM, and Oracle. Our School is one of the most dynamically developing private universities which is also unique because we offer studies in the only field of science – computer science. The main educational goal of WSCS is to equip its students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to become a professional within the selected computer science specialization. The Master of Science in IT Project Management program offers students the knowledge and skills needed to solve real-world IT project management problems. Project management is the discipline of organizing, securing, and managing resources to complete the project within the defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints within acceptable levels of risk. The Master of Science in Project Management program, along with a valuable academic qualification, provides students with the professional expertise needed to plan and execute a range of IT projects and to avoid typical pitfalls of missed deadlines and mismanaged resources. Additionally, the program enables students to gain experience in currently available project management methodologies and introduces new developments regarding management decision support tools like simulation and artificial intelligence techniques. Because of the evolving character of the discipline students are taught concepts and skills required to develop new, or enhance existing, procedures to solve project management problems. The course runs for two years (four semesters) from October 2017 to June 2019. There is one break during the winter semester around Christmas and another break during the summer semester around Easter. Students will be organized into two groups, one full-time group with classes taking place during the day and one part-time group with classes taking place in the late afternoons and evenings. Students are expected to earn 120 ECTS within the period of study and obtain the title of Master of Science enabling them to take up other postgraduate courses and apply for Ph.D. programs at all Polish and foreign universities. Warsaw School of Computer Science offers prospective students a Master of Science in IT Project Management course. The program lasts two years (4 semesters) and the language of instruction is English. The course will start on 29th September 2017. Full-time students will have classes from Tuesday to Friday and part-time students will have classes from Wednesday to Sunday. UTP University of Science and Technology (Uniwersytet Technologiczno - Przyrodniczy – the UTP) in Bydgoszcz has a 60 year-long tradition going back to 1951 when the first school of higher education in Bydgoszcz was created - the Evening School of Engineering. Early in its history, it educated chemical and mechanical engineers. Having been converted into the Engineering School of Higher Education, in 1964, full-time, evening, and extramural programs were offered by 4 technological faculties. The development of agricultural studies was launched in 1969 by the establishment in Bydgoszcz of the branch of the Agricultural School of Higher Education from Poznań. To provide the adequate opportunity of engineering education to the people belonging to the interior of Sindh province, the Sindh University Engineering College Jamshoro was established in 1963 as a constituent college of the University of Sindh. According to the education policy of 1972, it was decided by the government to upgrade the college to the level of University of Engineering & Technology after shifting it to Nawabshah. Consequently, the 1st year classes were started at Nawabshah in February 1974. QUEST campus is situated just outside the city of Nawabshah near the airport and is spread over an area of 457 acres on both sides of the main Sakrand road. Presently, it consists of three academic sectors. Sector A houses the departments of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Institute of Information Technology the Administration Block and a well-established Computer Centre. Sector B houses the departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy & Environment Engineering, and Basic Sciences & Related Studies. While all the laboratories of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Workshop are located in Sector C and the Central Library is located between Sector B & C. The Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur was established in 2009 by up-grading Mirpur Campus of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), Muzaffarabad. With the inception of the UAJK in 1980, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Home Economics, and the Institute of Islamic Studies were established as its constituent colleges and institute. The University College of Engineering and Technology and Institute of Islamic Studies were established in the premises of the then Government College for Boys, Mirpur while the University College of Home Economics was established in the premises of the Government College for Girls, Mirpur. The two colleges and the institute continued imparting education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Home Economics, and Islamic Studies till 2001 as part of the UK. Later on, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Computer Science and IT were also added to the system under the faculty of engineering and technology and faculty of science, respectively. The institution continued working under the UAJK till the up-gradation of the UAJK campus into Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur in 2009. Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) is one of the most important seats of higher learning in the south region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
