      1. Promoting respect for self and others Promoting understanding Promoting a life-long love of learning Promoting the ability to think creatively, critically, and independently. The Italian Bilingual School has been established in 2002 and provides a unique approach to teaching and learning by offering a bilingual aspect that has combined elements of both the Australian and the Italian curriculum to provide a program of study which targets the needs of our students. Our school is a primary school that currently caters to children from Prep class (under 5 years old) through to Year 6. Our Vision Statement is clear, "Excellence through Bilingualism" and we value excellence in literacy and numeracy teaching explicit teaching of thinking skills and social skills providing a holistic, safe, and caring learning environment, and valuing and welcoming the involvement of parents and the wider community. The bilingual aspect of the school has always been its most distinctive feature and by offering this type of education we strive to provide a service that, although still unusual in our Australian context, is common and successful in Europe, Canada, and elsewhere. Some of the benefits include adding to communicative and intellectual skills and laying the foundation for successful learning of further languages later in life. Learning another language or learning through another language, gives students a level of second language skill not achievable through a regular school program. In particular, a bilingual education offers a deep understanding of another way of being the possibility of unconditional respect for 'other' which we believe is the basis for true global citizenship. The Italian Bilingual School aims to provide an environment in which young people can grow towards being citizens who have access within themselves to the concepts, skills, attitudes, and knowledge to act positively and productively in the world for the equal benefit of themselves, others, and our environment. 2. The Anglo-Italian School, Montessori Division, is an international school of preschool through 8th-grade students. The only English-based Montessori school in Italy. The school, founded in 1958 by a group of NATO parents, is located in a secure setting on the former NATO, JFC HEADQUARTERS Command Base. The school’s beautiful property overlooks the Bay of Naples. Mount Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri are both visible through the classroom windows. The multi-cultural student body is comprised of dependent children of NATO countries, military and diplomatic personnel, and the host nation – Italy. The area provides both a secure environment and an international setting for your child’s schooling. The school administration has invested in renovations to provide clean and attractive surroundings for the students and to ensure all standards required by Italian and European laws are met. The school has beautiful gardens and playground areas in addition to access to The Air Dome, a large gymnasium built by NATO. All teachers are mother-tongue English speakers, and except for foreign languages, classroom instruction is in English. Most teachers are certified in the United States and from other English-speaking countries. The school has a very intensive ESL program for students who arrive with limited English skills. The school follows an international and USA curriculum, tailored using the best models of various international associations. International cooperation and cultural exchange, as well as foreign languages, are emphasized. All students are multi-lingual when they leave the school. Montessori philosophies and instructional techniques are used. Small classes provide for individual instruction and attention and ensure that each student reaches his or her full potential. Information technology is also used in research, and to augment traditional instruction. The demanding curriculum provides excellent preparation for both classical and scientific follow-on study. Although the main thrust of education is international, the school also endeavors to satisfy specific requirements of individual national groups. A full range of extracurricular activities is available including physical education, drama, art, music, information technology, and foreign language study. Classes meet from 08:30 to 15:00. Extended care is available before and after school from 07:30-08:15 and 15:15-17:15. Besides our standard curriculum, we have a computer lab, a dynamic ESL (English as a Second Language) program, intensive foreign languages, extra-curricular after-school classes, and ISL (Italian as a Second Language). Our large fenced-in playground offers a variety of play equipment in a park-like setting filled with grassy areas, flowers, and trees. The school has a full library and a Multi-Media Center where students’ recreational reading and informational needs can be met through books and technology. With the addition of a SmartBoard, the Librarian can collaborate with other teachers to provide information literacy skills instruction that fosters self-directed learning and the love of reading. The school is periodically inspected by members of both the Italian Public Education and the Montessori Society. At the end of each school year, a special commission of the Italian Public Education Department proctors Italian students for their Italian State exams. The elementary, middle school, and 9th/10th-grade students also receive an evaluation from an American achievement test at the end of the school year. In addition to our strong academic curriculum, our school also devotes each month of the school year to learn about a different NATO country. With this program, the children develop a better understanding of the cultures of our international environment. The Anglo-Italian School is authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education (decree 3105/41-2), is accredited and guaranteed by The Association of Montessori International, and is a member of The American Montessori Society and the European Council of International Schools. Admission is based on screening exams and interviews, previous performance, and the student’s ability to benefit from the program. The common element among parents is their interest in providing their children with a high-quality education based on the principles of the Montessori Method. View full school

They benefit from the University's uniquely comprehensive array of study programs and its strong focus on research. At all stages of academic training, we emphasize the links between research and course content. Our students view their studies as a springboard to a rewarding career, not least because Munich is one of Germany's foremost centers for technology and the media. Academic diversity thrives in an environment that encompasses social skills alongside a critical awareness of values and history. This includes the Munich legacy of the Weisse Rose, the student-based resistance group that opposed Nazism. When you come to LMU, you join a community dedicated to making the most of their talents, curiosity, and opportunities. I am both honored and humbled to be part of this community. LMU Munich has a classical academic profile ranging from the humanities and cultural sciences, law, economics, and social sciences to medicine and natural sciences. The University is divided into 18 faculties and enjoys one of Germany's most adequate library systems. Creative thinking, problem-solving, and research are central to LMU's academic programs. With 2,300 beds, its Medical Center is, next to the Charité in Berlin, the most prestigious and largest institution in Germany. LMU Munich enjoys an excellent library system. Faculty and students also have access to the Bavarian State Library, the Technische Universität München Library, other local and state LMU partner libraries, and the German university interlibrary loan network. The University's library system consists of the Main University Library and more than 130 decentralized libraries hosted by the individual faculties. Its total stock amounts to about 6.5 million volumes. The vast majority of the library system's holdings are listed in the online catalog accessible on the Internet. Whereas the holdings of the decentralized libraries are generally not available for lending, the Main Library houses lending stocks totaling 2.4 million volumes. These include the valuable old inventory of over 3,000 manuscripts and approximately 400,000 old prints up to the publication year 1900, the second-largest in Bavaria's Free State. Students and researchers at LMU Munich also have access to libraries at other universities and institutes of higher education in Munich and partner libraries and the special libraries our University maintains. Since the founding of LMU Munich, the University Archives has preserved archival material from the Board of University Representatives, Rectorate, faculties, and institutes and maintains its impressive University and faculty history library. It is open during select hours for academic research. Researchers are requested to contact the Archive in advance. Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München is a public corporation with the right of self-governance within the law's confines. At the same time, it is a state entity divided into a central administration and 18 faculties. The University Executive Board is composed of six members: the president and five vice presidents. The University Executive Board consults with its main advisory board, the University Council, comprised of the University's members and high-ranking and experienced representatives from the private sector, the professional world, and other academic branches. The University Governing Board consists of the Executive Board members, the deans, and the women's representative of the University. To develop competitive procedures adapted to the logic and specific performance of the different subject groups, a system of consultative committees was introduced, the functions of which are defined in LMU Munich's Basic Statutes. The faculties themselves house various academic bodies such as departments and institutes, as well as managing units. In order to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, members of these academic bodies can merge to form cross-disciplinary centers.

Egypt is a traditional leader in the Middle East in the field of higher medical education. In recent years, and due to the admission of increasingly large numbers in the governmental universities, Egypt’s leading status was seriously threatened. Some primary and decisive factors in the proper teaching and training of the undergraduates in the medical field are the efficient knowledge deliverance and the close interaction between the student and the teacher. Physical therapy is a vital form of professional patient care that can be applied in most medical disciplines. It is the newest and yet the oldest field of medical practice. It is the newest because it has come to be recognized as an integral part of regular medical care in the past seventy years. However, it is the oldest because physical agents have been used in the treatment of diseases or injuries for thousands of years. The goal of the College of Physical Therapy is to provide the society with therapists who are adequately prepared by a carefully-planned educational program to serve, today and in the future in such capacities, as providers care for patients suffering from temporary or permanent disabilities resulting from musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological, gynecological and pediatric disorders. The College of Engineering was established in1996 to serve Egypt, the Arab countries, and the region by preparing the graduates to carry out their responsibilities, considering our heritage in an industrialized world with a significant number of challenging problems. The college of engineering is working hard to develop professional engineers who can responsibly lead the economic development towards society and the environment. Hence, an engineering graduate is well suited to help in achieving his country’s goals. Our engineering graduates are also suited to work in cross-cultural environments, as many international companies have a presence in Egypt and the region. The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Translation has nine academic departments: English Department, French Department, German Department, Italian Department, Spanish Department, Turkish Department, Chinese Department, Japanese Department, and Arabic Department. The faculty departments endorse the promise that to learn another language is to step into another world. Moreover, the faculty departments advocate inclusive and interdisciplinary scholarships that develop innovative models for the study and assimilation of languages and literature. 6. The SUPSI strategy for 2017-2020 results from teamwork involving SUPSI staff members and our local territory partners. All these contributions have been developed and summarised in a map. When delineating our strategic plan, our starting point was our identity, together with the concept of a university of experience firmly rooted in the local territory and open to the rest of the world. We want to propel ourselves into the future. Discussion regarding the paths to follow, and the choice of these paths, led us to focus on five fundamental strategic directions. And then we paused to consider the perspectives for outcome analysis and evaluation, identifying four in particular. This matrix generated sixteen objectives, coherent with the fundamental strategic directions and with the four dimensions. The SUPSI vision focuses particularly on relationships with partners in the territory and on exploiting the full potential of its valued position in the national and international academic community. This aspect is essential for emphasizing its nature as a vocational university, prominent for its ability to create collaboration networks and ensure vocational education, applied research, and services, in different ways, structured to meet each subject area's specific requirements and professional context. The role of SUPSI as an agent of change for its various target groups is strengthened by leveraging on the aspect which, through time and experience, has transpired to be one of the University's strong points: its ability to create networks, system and to trigger research synergies between different subject areas, partners and projects. Integrity Responsibility Collaboration Image Ethical code SUPSI has operated in Southern Switzerland for the last 20 years, plus many more if we consider the history behind the institution's establishment. In its primary role, the University supports the development of our society using its activities in education, research, and high-level technology transfer, in an ever-increasing range of professional contexts. This is why the SUPSI Board and Executive have decided that it is essential to codify the three guiding principles, a source of inspiration for everyday University activities: integrity, responsibility, and collaboration. The ethical code summarises and clarifies the code of conduct around these three cardinal guiding principles and the most critical organizational principles to which all those operating in SUPSI must refer, accepting roles and responsibilities that apply both internally and externally. Simultaneously, the code defines the SUPSI commitment toward its students, partners, and other stakeholders in the territory and the national and international scientific and academic communities. Understanding and adhering to the ethical code, which integrates and reinforces the principles described in the regulations and directives, are fundamental conditions underlying the reputation of SUPSI. A university subsists first and foremost because of its students, who must be engaged in its daily activities in order to experience a sense of belonging to the institute they will attend for the duration of their study programs. The SUPSI objective for its students is twofold: their education should equip them with the proper professional skills, but they should also become citizens who are informed and able to build up valuable knowledge in terms of personal development and the development of the community of students to which they belong. The educational agreement initiative is based on these considerations. It is also marked by the desire to remodel the teacher-student relationship approach, requiring the latter category to assume responsibilities while at the same time providing them with adequate responses to their learning needs, provided by their instructors in the classroom, in the partner companies or virtual spaces, and also utilizing high-quality services to support them in their personal development and transform the period of study into an experience of life and participation. On the one hand, the University constructs the contents and the learning environment. On the other hand, the students construct their learning process based on their motivational thrust and assuming responsibility for themselves, others, and general for the community in which they live. SUPSI is an autonomous organization established under public law in Canton Ticino, including its departments and associated schools, which are run by private institutions but are integrated into the structure and culture of SUPSI while maintaining their own administrative and financial autonomy. Relations with Canton Ticino are governed by a performance contract that defines cantonal contributions based on the number of students and the volume of acquired projects. The Swiss Confederation also contributes to finances. For the rest, SUPSI administers and organizes itself autonomously and pursues objectives of growth and self-financing. Strategic direction and control are the SUPSI Council's responsibility, composed of people not working at SUPSI and appointed by the State Council (Government) of Canton Ticino. The operative direction is the responsibility of SUPSI Management, including directors of departments and affiliated schools. Departments are structured by academic discipline (Institutes, Laboratories, Centres of Expertise) directly responsible for the first level modules, continuing education courses, and applied research projects. All teachers, researchers, and other collaborators of SUPSI report to these departments. The faculty of SUPSI is composed in a balanced proportion, depending on individual disciplines, of internal teachers-researchers and active external professionals. The professor's title does not distinguish a function. However, it is conferred as an honorific title by the SUPSI Council to collaborators who have not already obtained it elsewhere and achieve effective teaching and applied research goals. Departments have the support of advisory committees.
      7. Università Della Svizzera Italiana (USI) is one of the 12 certified public universities in Switzerland and a member of swissuniversities. It is organized in five faculties and is active in several studies and research areas: architecture, communication sciences, computational science, data science, economics, health studies, humanities, informatics, law, medicine, and biomedicine. Around 2800 students and about 800 professors and researchers, hailing from over 100 countries, convene every day on the three campuses in Lugano, Mendrisio, and Bellinzona. The campuses' relatively small size encourages the free flow and open exchange of ideas within the academic community. USI encourages faculty, students, and researchers to develop their potential and appreciates their curiosity and willingness to experiment with new ways of thinking, learning, teaching, and working. Established in 1996, USI is continually evolving, always taking on new challenges while remaining true to its three guiding principles: quality, openness, and responsibility. International faculty, small size, dynamic attitude and informal atmosphere, adequate infrastructures, connections to the labor market, and a favorable context within the Swiss university system are all elements that are much appreciated by students and make for a rewarding study experience USI. USI offers quality and interdisciplinary study curricula where theory and practice go hand in hand. 9. View full university
