      2. Our vision is that all children in our community develop a love of learning, allowing them to reach their full and richest potential. We aspire to create an environment true to the Montessori philosophy in which our students will thrive. Our staff are highly trained and dedicated to delivering a progressive and integrated Montessori curriculum. At Lindfield Montessori, we promote respect for self, others, the environment, and the community as a whole. The teachers maintain close partnerships with families and it is through these strong relationships that we all contribute to each child’s learning and development. Lindfield Montessori Preschool is a safe, caring, non-denominational learning environment for 3 – 6-year-old children of all backgrounds. We believe that education is not only an aid to life, but it should also be fun. We believe that people work best when they do what they love and love what they do. Lindfield Montessori: Aims to provide an environment that encourages self-directed learning Provides a prepared environment to cater to the holistic needs of the child Values family partnerships that are based on mutual respect and open communication Links the child’s home environment to the classroom environment reinforcing learning and promoting the child's unique and valuable contributions Embraces the Early Years Learning Framework and the underlying principles, practices, and outcomes Is aligned with the NSW Board of Studies to provide an educational program based on the practice, principles, and methodologies of Dr. Maria Montessori. We offer a three-year program for children from 3 to 6 years of age. All children attend 5 days per week. For the first two years children attend half days, 8.30 am to 12.00 pm with the option to enroll in the afternoon program from 12 pm to 2.30 pm. The 3 and 4-year-olds’ afternoon program is booked termly in advance and families have the option to choose between 2 to 5 afternoons per week. In the third year (the Kindergarten program) children attend five full days per week from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm. Lindfield Montessori operates for four terms per year. A Montessori 3-6 year environment is created to match the developing needs of the children as they pass through this rapid period of amazing self-construction focusing on hands-on learning in both individual and small group lessons. The Montessori curriculum is designed to support social, creative, language, mathematical and physical development while fostering individual interests through science, geography, biology, and more. Every material in a Montessori classroom supports an aspect of child development complimenting the child’s innate interests. Children can learn through their own experience and at their own pace. Staff and parents at Lindfield Montessori recognize each child as an individual learner, with a complex mix of abilities and prior experiences. Curriculum planning is centered on the individual needs of the child. The mixed age group offers many benefits for the child children inspire each other, older children teach younger children, reinforcing learning. The younger children are in admiration of their older peers and may occasionally teach the older children too. The diversity of abilities in the classroom supports unique contributions, which is invaluable for the development of self-assurance. During the three-year journey at Lindfield Montessori, each child has the opportunity to thrive in the areas of creativity, independence, focus, perseverance, imagination, emotional intelligence, and above all a love of learning. These qualities are achieved through a supportive program that strives to maintain learning based on the child’s interests and needs. We, in collaboration with parents, recognize that each child's interests and needs change as they develop, we endeavor to adapt our approach to their ever-changing needs. View full school
      3. We are a happy and vibrant private co-educational school based in Madrid, offering a tailor-made, holistic education for boys and girls, aged 3 to 18. The English Montessori School is a private co-educational British School in Spain, which caters to the educational needs of students of the Spanish and International communities in Madrid. The school is recognized by both the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture as a foreign British center and by Great Britain as a British School in Spain. Children from the age of three to eighteen years of age are admitted to a complete and highly successful educational experience. Though the majority of students are Spanish, numerous nationalities are represented in the student population. Traditionally TEMS students rank among the best of the students throughout the Spanish and International schools in Madrid, on external exams taken by those students. Accordingly, all graduates of the senior school go on to higher education. Nurture a caring community, where respect for one another and our environment is tangible. Foster a passion for learning by encouraging exploration and curiosity. Develop positive relationships both locally and globally based on empathy, collaboration, and trust. Encourage independent thinkers who feel confident in making mistakes and learning from them. Build our children’s self-confidence through practical skills to equip them to face a rapidly changing future. TEMS was founded as an infant school in 1973. The first school was located in a small house in Avenida Alfonso XIII in the center of the city. The Montessori philosophy has always remained paramount to Milagros’ approach to education. The school was a pioneer in Spain for this child-centered type of education. The English school of Madrid is one of the pioneers as a charter member of the “National Association of British Schools in Spain” (N.A.B.S.S.).The “English Montessori School” SA is is a proud member of the Cognita global family of schools since 2016. As the children grew and since parents were so pleased with the program the school needed larger facilities. It has moved several times to accommodate this growth and is now permanently located in the residential community of Aravaca (Madrid). This purpose-built school has, recently, added new facilities to accommodate the population growth, enhance the already excellent academic and extra-curricular program and meet the demands of the constantly changing educational needs of today’s students. When they leave us in Year 13, pupils are ready to attend their first-choice university at home or abroad having a high level of skill in three languages as well as a global outlook, encouraged by the ethos of our parent company Cognita which operates over 70 schools around the world. We are always thrilled to hear of their success in the world outside TEMS, as many of our alumni are now successful across a range of fields and their careers take them around the globe using their English-speaking prowess to excellent effect. Others stay closer, either in Madrid or across Spain, and return with their children full of stories about the influence TEMS has had on them. They speak of how happy they were as pupils and that sense of happiness continues to be tangible in the classrooms and playgrounds of TEMS as it is today. The future is changing, even as we write, and we believe we prepare our children extremely well here for that fact by sustaining our focus on respect, tolerance, friendship through the development of character and excellent academics. 4. We believe that each individual has limitless worth and potential, and this ‘approach to life, as Dr. Montessori put it, is at the heart of philosophy. We believe that by providing students with a nurturing environment within which we cater for the personal and intellectual development of each child, we can allow each student to fulfill his/her potential. MMS is dedicated to providing a quality education for all students from all walks of life including those with different abilities who might need specialized help to succeed in school, at university, and in life. We aim to graduate independent thinkers who are self-motivated individuals ready and able to challenge themselves and play an integral part in their community. The MMS philosophy is to instill in our students a deeply rooted sense of pride in themselves and their cultural heritage, while at the same time promoting international-mindedness and a strongly held understanding of and respect for differences between cultures and individuals. We foster ethical behavior and enforce a strong Academic Honesty Policy. We aim to ensure that both our rigorous academic and rich extra-curricular programs work together to provide students with a holistic learning experience. We believe that this can only succeed through a high level of cooperative planning, teaching, and evaluation, designed to produce success in advancing the learning process of the students. The Modern Montessori School has always been known as an institution that places considerable importance on the development and academic performance of its students, adopting methods that foster complementary values like creativity, character, exploration, and the independent thinking of a child. We have made sure and were extra careful to take this into account meticulously with everything new we undertook. The new building will house large classrooms and offices, state-of-the-art science laboratories, art rooms and studios, an MYP library, a Research & Robotics Lab, an examination hall that comfortably fits up to 130 students with a designated area for our students that might need extra time and/or allowances, as well as a state-of-the-art MMS Tech Hub equipped with the latest technology to make sure our students’ passions, interests and wants are nurtured both inside and outside the classroom. We believe that MMS students, with a Montessori methodology and philosophy foundation at the Kindergarten in their educational and developmental journey, and going through the IB continuum (PYP, MYP then DP) in their primary and formative years, will find themselves fully equipped, independent and prepared to face the world to be leading members of any community they choose to belong to. Our staff has worked diligently and tirelessly to make sure the programs are applied to the highest of standards, whilst still maintaining the MMS essence and atmosphere encouraging and promoting autonomy, educational rights, and learning achievements. Montessori School has accomplished since its foundation and its present position as one of the leading schools in our region. A well-established educational institution that aims to provide students with an inspiring environment where they can develop to their full potential. Since its establishment, the Modern Montessori School has been recognized for exposing its students to multiple experiences that reinforce the significance of understanding and accepting the differences that make every person unique. With this being an embedded aspect in our mission, we aim for every MMS graduate to be a well-rounded, responsible, aware, effective, hardworking, and positive member of any community he/she find themselves living in. As the second school in Jordan to become a certified IB college, our goal is to give our students the best possible educational experience and provide them with an ethical foundation to become responsible for their own choices. First established in 1985, MMS has been designed to meet international. It is accredited by the International Centre for Montessori Education (ICME) and has been an IBDP school since 1998. With highly qualified and professional faculty and staff members, our school is committed to offering various academic and non-academic services and opportunities for students to ensure they attain the best possible holistic educational experience. The Modern Montessori Kindergarten’s vision is to provide excellence in KG education by making the benefits of the Montessori Method accessible to the community. Its objective is to prepare the children to reach their full potential and to play a responsible role in protecting the global environment and fostering peace and harmony with the natural processes and community interests. We encourage our students to develop their curiosity and gain knowledge through exploring transdisciplinary themes, inspired by traditional disciplines. This is achieved by engaging them in a wide range of educational and Extracurricular Activities relevant to issues of both local and global significance. As an MYP accredited school, the MMS Middle School connects the Primary Years to the Diploma Programme providing vertical consistency along the IB continuum of education. It is a rigorous program that aims to build upon the fundamental skills and knowledge developed in the Primary Years, and prepares and enables a smooth transition into their subsequent IB program. 5. Children’s House is tucked away in a quiet residential area of Motoazabu. The School is truly a “Children’s House” where Montessori materials and furniture are sized for children. Founded and run by passionate Montessori teachers who strive to create a comfortable environment for all children. Our mission is to offer an authentic Montessori education, based on the principles, methods, and activities of Maria Montessori. Maria Montessori was born in Italy in 1870. She was one of the first female physicians. Maria Montessori innovated the Montessori approach to education which is focused on “following the interests of the child.” She believed that everyone learns differently, and at their own pace. The Montessori prepared environment can stimulate the individual interests of children. We currently offer one infant classroom, for children between the age of twelve months to thirty-six months, and one primary Montessori classroom, for children three to six years old. The day starts at 8:30 am and finishes at 3 pm. We also offer After School Care from 3 pm to 5 pm which is available upon request. The last step is to arrange a time for your child to come in and meet their new teacher. This is a great way for your child to get familiar with their new environment! View full school
      6. Chateau des Bambini simply means “Children’s Castle” in Italian. Dr. Maria Montessori is the first physician and educator who opened the first Montessori school in Rome. She spent many years observing and working with children, and her method captured my interest. I have raised 3 children, and during that time, English nurseries/preschools and Montessori kindergartens were very difficult to find. This is why I decided to open a school of my own. Our school has had over 2,000 graduates varying from 40 different nationalities. Most of them attended universities at well-known schools abroad such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc. I am truly amazed that up to now, most of them are still connected. Our school is set to a “home-like” environment which helps promote a transition from home to school life, and our teachers are Montessori certified. Chateau des Bambini is supports working parents and so we are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. If you are interested in visiting our school, please call us for an appointment. We will welcome you and your child to the world of Montessori. Preschool/Kindergarten is a very important beginning to a child's school experience. Here at Chateau des Bambini Montessori School, we promote the joy of learning. The children who experience the joy of learning develop self-confidence. As a Montessori teacher, I understand that every child is unique, so I respect each child as an individual with their interest. They have the freedom to make choices, choose tasks that interest and challenge them. I step back while the children are working to allow them to learn from their discoveries and develop their skills at their own pace. Montessori education is challenging, promotes independence, and the children learn to be more responsible. They learn directly from their environment engaging themselves in the learning process and enhance critical thinking skills. In the Montessori environment, the children work with developmentally appropriate materials that will develop natural curiosity which helps in later life and helps them grow. This promotes enthusiasm and a love of learning. We provide an array of special after-school activities after 4:00 pm for those at least 4 years of age who can participate. Designed to engage and inspire creativity, exercise, and intellect. Activities include dance, yoga, cooking, art, abacus, and scientific discovery. Practical life encompasses a wide range of real-life activities and engages children in real-life daily routines. It is divided into four main areas: Preliminary activities and Body Movement Care of self Care of Environment and Grace and Courtesy. These activities will strengthen their fine and gross motor skills and lengthen their concentration span through the repetition of work, enhancement of the development of order, coordination, independence, self-esteem, and confidence. Practical life activities include sewing, weaving, sorting, scooping, transferring, pouring. In the mathematics area, children are introduced to materials that encourage their continuous learning in the world of numbers. They are taught quantity, solving problems, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as counting to infinitive numbers. It allows the child to understand analysis and clear reasoning. In the language area, the children are enriched in a bilingual environment that exposes them to many words, forms of poetry, and multi-cultural literature. Letters of the alphabet are introduced phonetically, which help to guide the children in word building and sentence structures.100% Homemade Organic Lunch Box, available by order. 1 Lunch Box ¥680. Luca Deli is an Organic Catering Service with every meal prepared and delivered to our school daily. If you are interested in ordering lunch for your child! View full school

      10. The first Montessori school established in Jakarta began in 1981 as a playgroup under the name of Srikandi Montessori School and was formed under the guidance of Gloria Kalff. Due to the ever-increasing appeal for Montessori education, the school evolved into a complete primary program, providing education for children from 2 years old through elementary Grade 6. The school changed its name to Jayakarta Montessori School in 1995. The buildings are architecturally designed and equipped with facilities to meet the Montessori philosophy. The specially prescribed Montessori equipment is imported exclusively from the official worldwide manufacturer, Neinhuis Montessori, Holland. A Montessori teacher and a classroom assistant staff each classroom. The teachers receive training from an approved Montessori training center. Classroom assistants are selected based on their understanding of the principles of child development and their ability to observe the child. The remainder of the staff includes part-time specialist instructors, assistants, and administrative staff. Jayakarta Montessori School is a preschool and elementary school located in Kemang, South Jakarta, offering programs for children from 18 months to 11 years of age. Through the Montessori approach, students are motivated to learn naturally by providing a prepared environment and materials which the children can use at their own pace. This approach focuses on building intrinsic motivation, independence, self-discipline, and a positive self-image. Each child is taught the necessary skills to prepare them for the next phase, be it in a larger school, in another international school, or back home overseas. Montessori children are adaptable. Since they have been encouraged to make decisions from an early age, these children are problem-solvers who can make choices and manage their time well. They have also been encouraged to exchange ideas and to discuss their work freely with others. Good communication skills ease the way in new settings. Montessori programs, based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, help children develop good self-images and the confidence to face challenges and change. Jayakarta Montessori School is a corresponding member of the American Montessori Society, NYC, New York. View full school
      11. Jakarta Montessori School, we help your children to understand the world in which they live and their role in it, both now and in the future. To this end, our curriculum is an integrated one with an emphasis on self-discipline, independence, freedom with attached responsibility, and tolerance and appreciation of all cultures and traditions. You only have to see the children’s enthusiastic faces to appreciate that such an environment is good for your child. They are happy and eager to attend school each day, often asking their parents if they can come back on weekends. We pride ourselves in providing extensive all-around education, supporting not only your children’s academic development but also their social, emotional, physical, and linguistic skills, through our prepared environments both within the classroom and outside in the school grounds. Jakarta Montessori School turns 30 years this year since its inception on 5th October 1986. We follow the best practices of an authentic Montessori school. The school clearly defines its institutional identity, Montessori principles, enduring values and beliefs, and educational outcomes. The School aims to give your child the best possible beginning to develop him/herself physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. 12. Montessori Bali was established in 1998 by Kadek Wiranatha and his wife Natalia Sinclaire, a committed Montessorian who recognized how an authentic Montessori program could benefit the children of Bali. This foundation school consisted of the “Rose Class”, a single preschool classroom with 14 children. The school was so well received that by 2002 a second preschool class, the “Garden Class” was added. Montessori School Bali, a hidden oasis in the hustle and bustle of Berawa. Walk in the gates and you will experience a sense of tranquility that is not obvious from the street. This sense of calm and peace extends into our classrooms where children of all ages go about their day with dignity and purpose, making choices about what is right for them, and getting on with their learning. The Montessori system of education is universal and works just as amazingly here in Bali as in France, Australia, Canada, Thailand, and China. The children here seem to run into school in the morning with beaming smiles, greeting everyone they pass with a pleasant ‘Selamat page, or ‘good morning’ and a polite shake of the hand. As they grow you see the growth in confidence that this simple act engenders, from the young one who doesn’t yet want to and walks past quietly, to the 12-year-old who makes direct eye contact and gives a firm handshake as they say hello. This growth in confidence can be seen in other ways as children move through the school as well, for instance when they stand up in front of an audience to present research, sing, play or recite. At Bali Montessori School your children will have the opportunity to develop in a way that makes the most of their strengths. They will have broad, uninterrupted expanses of time in which to immerse themselves deeply into work that is intensely interesting to them. The chance to do this is precious and creates a sense of contentment and joy that is wonderful to see. View full school
      13. Our school gives children real-time to develop and to enjoy childhood unrushed. We work hard to cultivate our children’s sense of awe and wonder, providing real experiences at a gentle pace. Children have time to watch, listen, build confidence and try new things. Learning is sequential and adapted to suit each individual and we celebrate the many differences that make up our diverse community. Technologies and research tools are introduced gradually as children are ready to explore their wider environment and all aspects of daily life are considered important. The joy a toddler experiences when we give them the chance to dress themselves is valued as much as an older child learning how to use an encyclopedia for research. Joyful, enthusiastic children are at the heart of all that we do and we have a deep appreciation of the life lessons the children teach us every day. The Montessori method resonated with me immediately as this common-sense approach takes into account the interests and learning styles of each whilst guiding children’s development within a peaceful cooperative community. We observe children in many parts of the world and truly see the value that Montessori’s philosophy of Education for Peace can bring them. Montessori called her approach ‘Cosmic Education’, meaning an education that encompasses all the wonders of the universe given to the children through story, manipulative learning materials, imaginative exploration, and real experiences. The world presented thus inspires joyful, meaningful, constructive activity and a desire to learn that builds on the child’s innate drives to develop. It is not changing itself that poses a challenge but how we learn to cope with change. Life in the 21st century is fast-paced and children need a plethora of skills to allow them to adapt as they grow. What Montessori observed a century ago is still true today…we can not rush the development of children’s minds. we believe this is even more important in the technologically, information-rich present-day where children are buffeted by so many adult stimuli. Treated as small adults raised as consumers targeted by advertising. Childhoods are being eroded. ‘Nature deficit disorder’ has become commonplace, too many children are confined indoors their explorations of the world narrowed to images on screens. Our children exist within many environments and each set provides vital elements that contribute to the building of their interests and character. At EMAS we believe that daily contact with nature both indoors and out gives children the chance to use their senses in dynamic work and play experiences to the full. Situated on the back of Blackford Hill and the Hermitage of Braid Nature Reserve we are ideally placed to access these Edinburgh green spaces, just a stone's throw from our classrooms. Time outdoors is precious and we aim to get outside no matter what the weather. Children have time each day for explorative, imaginative, energetic play where adult intervention is kept to a minimum. A real chance to practice social skills and strategies, build their worlds and consolidate much of their academic learning. Props are developed by the children from the natural surroundings, trees become shelters, pathways are carved in the long summer grasses. Buildings, shops, hospitals, and bases are imagined and brought to life through childhood enchantment and complete freedom to dream. Play is directed by the children and games, stories, backdrops, and plots grow over weeks and months of visiting and revisiting the same natural spaces. By accessing the creative arts in the classrooms and through our work with specialist arts teachers, we seek to provide real balance for our children and open up the world of imagination and self-expression. As each specialist focuses on the integration of a particular discipline, visual arts, drama, dance, and music are brought to life. View full school
