Our coaching is aimed at preparing students for competitive and entrance examinations for professional courses of various universities. 12. GIIS was founded in 2002 with just 48 students at Mount Sophia in Singapore. We have since grown to span seven countries across Asia, with 23 campuses in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, UAE, Vietnam, and India. During this time, we’ve emerged as a leading international school offering Indian and international curricula to students from diverse backgrounds. Since its inception, GIIS has steadfastly focused on providing an extraordinary education to students from all over the world. In adopting the cultural ideology of “Schools That Learn,” GIIS makes every member of our community an equal partner in the process of learning. In empowering students to take on active roles in their progress, we uniquely engage them while promoting a culture reinforcing the joy of lifelong learning. The knowledge, skills, and values learned at GIIS stay with students throughout their lives. In fact, for the past decade and a half, nurturing students for the future has remained one of the primary focus areas for all of our GIIS schools. To that end, ample opportunities, mentorship, and guidance are provided to students, aimed not just at fostering academic success, but also at cultivating the spirit of entrepreneurship, leadership, teamwork, and group dynamics. Our vision is to become a global role model for teaching and learning. Our mission statement supports this vision while also conveying how we plan to realize it: We nurture our global students into men and women, who will be leaders of distinction, committed to the spirit of excellence, through high-quality education imparted by globally experienced and caring teachers building strong virtues and values while focusing on all-round development, creativity, and entrepreneurship. We recognize that our vision is meaningless without a supporting framework. Because of this, we have implemented several measures aimed at keeping us on track while enhancing student learning. It’s no coincidence that GIIS is home to the Global Indian Mahatma Gandhi Centre for Universal Values. With a presence on GIIS campuses worldwide, the MGCUV not only gives our students valuable insights into the experiences and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, but also serves as an institutional lodestar in terms of the values and beliefs it reinforces, and their relevance to the world in which we live. As GIIS continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of today’s diverse student body as well as the global challenges ahead, one thing will remain the same: Our guiding principles. Our vision, mission, core values, quality policy, and quality objectives have sustained us over the past decade and will continue to do so as we get closer to our vision of becoming an international standard for learning. The educational approach at GIIS is unique. Rather than structuring the learning around a strict curriculum, our educators focus on trying to create learning experiences that prepare students to be happy, balanced, productive, and innovative citizens of tomorrow. To assist with that, GIIS has implemented specialized programs across its campuses that put information, technology, and assessment resources in the hands of students and teachers alike. 14. Knewton Global Schools is about more than following your chosen curriculum and passing exams. It’s the support of the teachers, students, and families, the opportunities outside the classroom, and the buzzing environment, which all bring energy and ambition to our continuous learning culture. Knewton offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity that you feel the moment you arrive. It has everything you’d expect at an international school and private school campus. Curious minds are created in the science labs, design technology lab, and library. A spark can be ignited in the music suites, art studio, and creative and performing arts rooms. New strengths can be discovered on the sports pitches, courts, or in the swimming pool. At break times students make use of the canteen and take a rest under the shelter of the wooden cabanas / little pondoks. Knewton Global Schools benefits by being part of the Bonanza Educare group of schools and learning spaces across Malaysia. The group was founded by an experienced team of educationalists and commercial operators, who developed the largest international and private schools’ group in Malaysia, Tenby Schools. The team sold Tenby Educare in 2016 but has always remained the landowners of the Miri campus and welcomed the school back into the group in August 2019. We Always Knew! This school has a great history that continues to be built upon. Originally it was known as Piasau Primary School and is recognized as the oldest international school in Malaysia. In 2011, it became Tenby Schools Miri, developing both a British international and Malaysian national curriculum. In 2020, it was rebranded to Knewton Global Schools. Knewton is a made-up word that references: Kn-Knowledge New-latest Ton-mass It’s a blended word that has been selected to sound strong and yet human. Remember in English, when you see a word that starts with ‘kn’ you only pronounce the ‘n’ (sounds the same as newton – our very own unit of knowledge). Knewton Knickknacks – The crest contains a Hornbill as a nod to the history of the school and the local area. The stars represent our students and communicate our promises and sparks of greatness in our community. The stars are at the center of everything because our students are the center of our world. A new brand is combined with a renewed ambition to drive continual improvement of teaching and learning to provide the best opportunities for our young people to be the best they can be. 16. We want parents to discover not just a great school, but also the best possible fit for their child. Our day and boarding school has everything you need on one campus, just pick a pathway. We have a variety of curriculum for all ages in our international school, private school, preschool, and pre-university education. In 2014, a spirited and determined man conceived of a new school where children could thrive in a glorious, globally progressive environment, either close to their families or within a homely boarding situation. From humble beginnings and frustrated by his own school experiences, Dato’ Lee Tian Hock, Founding Chairman of Matrix Concepts Berhad, realized his ambitions and set the benchmark in educational design by building Matrix Global Schools made up of a Private School & International School. This resulted in a grand campus nestled in a green haven in Seremban, Malaysia. Arguably, this is one of the most beautiful education establishments in Asia, with its crowning domes, towering pillars, and vaulted ceilings which welcome students from around the world. The school is designed not only to impress from the outside. inside you’ll find state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, a theatre, and libraries. The sports fields and the stadium surround an impressive athletics track. An acknowledged leader, Dato Lee understands all too well that to thrive in our globally connected world, you need more than examination certificates. His vision is to develop well-rounded graduates, ensuring ‘lessons are for life and that each student maximizes their full potential, inclusive of logical, critical, and creative thinking. The British international and Malaysian curriculum schools both share one campus and the same guiding principles. Here East meets West and students enjoy the best of both worlds. We blend the progressive teaching and learning methods of the West and from the East, we benefit from the academic rigor and the avid determination to succeed. In addition, the school offers holistic opportunities for students to learn from different cultures and communities while developing different leadership styles. In 2019, to guarantee the school’s mission for innovation and academic excellence, a partnership was formed between Matrix Concepts Berhad and Bonanza Educare Sdn Bhd. The extraordinary partnership ensures the very best of a modern educational practice with a strong focus on quality teaching and learning. Today the campus’ crowning glory is found not in its domes or grand architecture but the hearts and minds of its students and teachers. Vision and Values We put learning at the heart of everything we do. Whether you choose the British international or Malaysian national curriculum, every moment is focused on supporting our students to ‘get better. Our philosophy is to challenge our students to be intellectually curious, responsive, and persistent to be committed to and expressive of their ideas. 21. Global Christian Foreign School is a foreign school located in the heart of Seoul, Korea in Hannam-dong. The school is accredited by the Korean Ministry of Education and holds membership in the College Board, Association of Christian Schools International, and Council of International School Administration in Korea. Since 1996, we have been devoted to raising global Christian leaders in grades K-12, serving expatriate families, and preparing students to excel at the university level. Many of our students have gone on to competitive schools such as Yale University, NYU, University of Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California at Berkeley, Parsons School of Design, and more. We currently have a 100% acceptance rate among graduates into higher education institutions. We invite you to join our rich and unique academic community, filled with passionate and caring educators that carry a high level of expertise in their respective content area. With a faculty-to-student ratio of around 1 to 5, our teachers take great pride in providing a personalized learning experience for each student. We thrive on providing an atmosphere in which each student is seen as a unique individual, capable of learning beyond what his or her capabilities and past experiences have revealed. GCFS admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin, but the applicant must meet legal eligibility requirements.GCFS is a registered foreign school with the Korean government, as such, students attending a foreign school in Korea must satisfy one of the following three categories of eligibility set forth by the Korean Ministry of Education. All parents, upon admissions of the student(s), are required to read, sign and support the school's philosophy and doctrinal statement demonstrating their support of Christian Education. Although GCFS respects the religious preferences of our students' parents and does not discriminate based on religious affiliation, all instruction is given in the context of our statement of faith (located on the 'About' page). Students from other religious backgrounds may not be excused from religious instruction or activities of the school. Currently, GCFS is following the standards set by the Common Core State Standards. The Common Core State Standards not only address the needs of educational standards in the United States but have been extracted from important international models as well. These standards have been adopted by forty-four states, and the ongoing endeavor for the perfection of these standards draws upon the work of state departments of education, scholars, assessment developers, professional organizations, educators from K-12, parents, students, and the public. GCFS also stands as a member of the Association of Christian School International (ACSI). The standards and benchmarks that come with this accreditation will also be implemented in the classroom. Here at GCFS, we are committed to creating a safe learning environment for all students. We are committed to holding our students to high behavior expectations that are consistent from K-12. Our three expectations are that our students will be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. May many blessings be poured out to all the visitors, parents, GCFS family members, and all the nations that are directly involved with Global Christian Foreign School. In 1996, GCFS was founded by Pastor Joseph Song who majored in Chemical Engineering, Education, Christian Counseling and received his M.Div. In 1999, after his passing, his wife Soon-Rahn Song continued the vision for GCFS and is currently the headmistress of GCFS. Our continuous vision for GCFS is for every individual student to be raised and released as a global Christian leader. And in the last 20 years, approximately 40 different nations came to receive Christian education from the Christ-centered standards and values we uphold. This vision has been possible through the many faithful kingdom workers that have partnered with us in bringing excellence in teaching, serving, and raising each student. The maximum capacity of our school is 100 and that is our main strength as we foster a culture of family between teachers, staff, and students. Many students and alumni will testify how it is not solely academic progress that is evident, but a character transformation that is experienced by those who enter through the school doors. Understanding the heartbeat of why GCFS exists, these very same students are going out into the world and displaying their leadership as the light and salt of this world. In a very self-centered and entitled generation, a sense of family and putting others first is not easily found or valued. However, as a student body of K-12 grade, consistently learn and grow in a place of love. To care and nurture one another as we become one family. For your child, we continue to take our calling and purpose with Christ’s love to raise and release them into the crooked and depraved generation and to bring light and hope as global Christian leaders. We as a school are always ready and prepared for your child to join us and become a family member. Our prayer is that they can be the beautiful and precious light to bring Christ’s hope and glory to many nations. View full school

  23. The educational approach at GIIS is unique. Rather than structuring the learning around a strict curriculum, our educators focus on trying to create learning experiences that prepare students to be happy, balanced, productive, and innovative citizens of tomorrow. GIIS was founded in 2002 with just 48 students at Mount Sophia in Singapore. We have since grown to span seven countries across Asia, with 19 campuses in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, UAE, Vietnam, and India. We nurture our global students into men and women, who will be leaders of distinction, committed to the spirit of excellence, through high-quality education imparted by globally experienced and caring teachers building strong virtues and values while focusing on all-around development, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Our Quality Objectives work in tandem with our Quality Policy to ensure the following: Compliance with our Quality Management System Learning at all levels Stakeholder satisfaction Adherence to our values As GIIS continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of today’s diverse student body as well as the global challenges ahead, one thing will remain the same: Our guiding principles. Our vision, mission, core values, quality policy, and quality objectives have sustained us over the past decade and will continue to do so as we get closer to our vision of becoming an international standard for learning. At GIIS, we offer four different curricula in acknowledgment of our belief that different students have different needs. They include Global Montessori Plus (GMP), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Technology is the 21st-century imperative, both in terms of enriching the learning experience and preparing students for further studies and eventual careers. We use a breadth and depth of technology at GIIS, including software-enabled labs, a digital library, e-content in smart boards, 7S analysis, and my GIIS are ERP, to facilitate learning while keeping teachers, students and parents connected and collaborating. As a supplement to our curricula, specialized programming creates new learning opportunities. The Microsoft IT Academy Programme, STEM-Enabled Classrooms, Encyclopedia Britannica Partnership, Detailed Assessment (DA), HeyMath! and many others vastly enrich the educational experience while nurturing innovative thinking Our award-winning Nine Gems model recognizes that success in the contemporary world relies not only on cognizance, but also on creativity, entrepreneurship, and the ability to explore. What makes Nine Gems truly innovative is its balanced, age-appropriate, and adaptive approach which allows it to evolve with students as they grow. While academic excellence is emphasized at every level, the focus is placed on universal values, ethics, discipline, creativity, and personality development in the initial years, before shifting to academic achievement, leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and key competencies for vocational and career progression during the secondary and high school years. GIIS is committed to shaping and honing student-athletes, as well as providing them with a platform for displaying their growth and abilities. Progress is measured both qualitatively and quantitatively to help students focus on advancing their strengths and improving weaker areas while simultaneously learning about the value of sportsmanship. The importance of holistic well-being-- with a focus on body, mind, and soul is also emphasized! View full school
  24. We nurture our global students into men and women, who will be leaders of distinction, committed to the spirit of excellence, through high-quality education imparted by globally experienced and caring teachers building strong virtues and values while focusing on all-around development, creativity, and entrepreneurship. 25. Preschool is designed for a child’s first step to independence. It’s the first exciting experience for both mothers and children. Children will start to think by themselves and also learn how to develop skills between the right choice and the wrong choice. Being immersed in an English environment will help develop a child’s adaptation to thinking and communicating in English. For preschoolers, “Playing is Learning.” In the last 18 years, scientists have discovered more about our brains than ever before. A baby's brain is already growing during pregnancy. For the first three years of a child's life, the brain is continuing to grow. Up to the age of seven, a child's brain is comparable to an adult's brain. The first seven years are the "Golden Years" of a child's brain. During the first seven years of stimulation of the "Fine Motor Skills", the "Gross Motor Skills" and information absorption are extremely important for a child’s development. When Baby’s/Children’s senses are stimulated this creates a reaction in the brain, to make dopamine, which in turn creates positive in the mind and body. Learning needs to be fun. Learning needs to be creative while having fun. Suitable learning environments need to provide for children at age levels to activate the fun learning experience. Go global wants to help children become socially active, cooperative, have communication skills, physical skills, confidence, respect others, have pride, and be creative. We want children to grow this way. Go Global Inter Kids is pleased to announce that we will be offering a kindergarten class for children between 2 and 6 years of age. It is a great opportunity for children to learn independence, social skills and to be immersed in English as a second language. Here at Go Global Inter Kids, we use the STEM teaching system which incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These 4 groups of teaching help to open the doors of children’s thinking and provides them with the opportunity to plan, enjoy group communication and problem-solving. STEM is incorporated in the I.B. World of teaching. Also, there are monthly themes that will bring so much enjoyment to the class as the students develop and progress with the themes from month to month. Kinder Age is children know how to express themselves through communication and art. An idea can lead to more inquisitive questioning of “How”, “Why” and “What.” Because of kinder age curiosity interest increases in many areas, thus learning to a greater action towards discovery and answers. Because they can do it by themselves, they can learn by themselves. This encourages confidence. At the Elementary level, opening the door to theoretical knowledge on how to build friendships, problem-solving skills, maths and science, and personal skills are a key development stage. Children with these abilities have a solid base for a better learning future. Our teachers are well trained and qualified in child care. Your children will spend lots of fun time with the teachers in an English environment including fun activities, such as M&M, Art, Games…etc. Go Global Inter Kids isn’t just about a fun annual curriculum, we do many entertaining events throughout the year too. Participating in our fun events is another reason why your children can interact in an English environment! View full school
