  6. Founded in 2014, Madinaty Integrated Language Schools, MILS, opened its doors to encompass 300 children in its first year of operation. It was the second language school located at the heart of Madinaty City and the only school in the neighborhood offering a French stream of education besides the English stream. The school lays a huge weight on the importance of high academic achievement fused with social and cultural awareness. We are blessed with our highly passionate educators and administrative team with extensive experience in education which makes our school so unique. At MILS we believe that a sound and solid foundation of core values and ethics is always a shared responsibility between home and school. MILS enjoys a warm, welcoming, secure and healthy environment where our members are endowed with opportunities to learn, develop and excel. We are growing steadily and surely with more than 1500 students currently enrolled from Pre-K through Grade 12. Our commitment is to raise independent, respectful and resolute individuals capable of changing their world for the better. We are part of the GEMS Education global network of schools now, this means your children will enjoy access to world-class education standards and opportunities. It also provides us with the necessary systems and structures for teachers and staff to share and develop outstanding practices. At Madinaty Integrated Language Schools (MILS), we aspire at providing a contemporary approach to the teaching and learning of young minds based on creativity and innovation in a supportive environment. We highly believe that every student matters. Each child has their skills and capabilities. Our role is to assist young learners in discovering and nurturing their talents. We believe that a successful educational practice can be realized when students are actively engaged and involved in their learning, and when learning is relevant to life experiences. Every child has the potential to be great, and with GEMS Education we allow them to explore their true capabilities. We want everyone to feel confident in their choice of a GEMS Education school. The young learner needs to develop an ethos of respect, resilience global and local responsibility, and self-pride in himself, his country, and in his deep-rooted values. Our mission is to provide each child with the best quality education while embracing diversity, honoring freedom of expression and creativity, celebrating achievements, enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It is our mission to provide the community with future proactive leaders. View full school
  7. It is our pleasure to welcome you and your children to a new school year. We look forward to working together for their benefit and welfare. We promise to spare no effort to make your child's school experience a happy and rewarding one. We assure you that our job requires extensive cooperation and understanding between the parents and the school. Please feel free to contact us at any time for issues concerning your child. We, in turn, will keep you informed, through written reports and personal contact, of your child's progress and activities at school. As in any operation involving several people, certain rules must be formulated and enforced to allow the operation to run smoothly and effectively, to create a safe environment, and to enhance the job that needs to be done. This is especially true in dealing with children. Children are constantly learning by observing the world around them. They are prone to make mistakes and to experience success or failure. This is quite natural, and thus we place a great emphasis on the student's responsibility for his/her behavior. Both the parents and the school have to cooperate to reinforce good behavior and work towards eliminating undesirable behavior. When parents and schools work together, to create the best possible program for a child, a true partnership will prevail. An honest, two-way communication, characterized by mutual concern and respect, will help to create an environment, where concerns can be discussed openly, solutions generated, and success applauded and shared. We aim to have this environment prevailing at our school. We aspire to graduate intellectual, creative generations who are scientifically and technologically distinct, upholding values and ethics, and who can keep up with the times and meet the challenges of the future. The School Aims To: Implement Professional development and sustainable education for workers at the organization as well as students. Provide various means that would achieve academic targets. Make ideal usage of the latest technology. Activate all the curricular and extra-curricular activities. Participate in the greening of the environment with the help of the parents. Activate the social role inside and outside the institution. Activate the program of ethical values for the upbringing of positive Egyptian students. View full school

A reading buddy program has been developed whereby older students are paired with younger Elementary students to share skills and develop confidence. Our students are expected to speak English while in school, even during lunch and playtime. This helps build vocabulary and fosters the long-term retention of language skills. The EIS community instills values such as patience, integrity, courage, and kindness. This is taught through cooperative education, the latest technology, and a House System. View full school
  11. Whenever the word ibadah is mentioned, most of the time the picture that comes to mind is solat, whenever jihad is mentioned, fighting on the battlefield is the picture that comes to mind. And whenever reminders are made regarding one’s responsibility to contribute to Islam, sadeqah to mosques and orphans are commonly remembered. The ibadah requires support more so now in the field of knowledge and education. The way knowledge and education have been insidiously secularised and offered to the world of Islam by the so-called western progressive elite has successfully reduced the Muslims to mere “shells” devoid of spirit, leadership, courage, and has removed the crown of knowledge from us. Over the years the spirit of the Ummah has been slowly disintegrated until they are ready now to be served at banquets of the kuffars. Education today is regarded as nothing else but a passport to a high standard of living. The “products” from this education system feed the lifestyle generated by secular materialism and so we have hazy and fuzzy “successful” people oblivious of their highest status of God’s creations, their duties, and function, and their real purpose in life. Intuitively searching for happiness, in the end after a lifetime of the chase, they realize how short-lived is the happiness offered by the materials of this world. The institution of IIS, its holistic integrated curriculum, the Khalifah Program being implemented, embodies the struggle to bring back the correct upbringing of our children so that once again we will see the spirit and iman of the sahabah in them. We, the founders, the parents, and the teachers must stay true and be steadfast to this objective. Alhamdulillah, for the blessings and everything and everyone’s contribution so far. The real challenge for the Muslim educationists today is to rediscover the roots of a truly Islamic education system (tarbiyyah-based) that extends deep into the foundations of our Islamic social, cultural, political, economic, and historical existence. In short, tarbiyyah, derived from the root word ‘Rabb’ which means the Protector, Educator, and Planner of all things, embodies a practical, integrated and holistic Islamic education system that aims to reconstruct our Islamic identity and way of life in our children and ourselves. IISKD is a sincere manifestation of these ideas translated into a modest reality. Our motto reminds us of the important fundamentals of an Islamic education system –“Knowledge and taqwa, a secret of success”. Thus, the programs in IISKD are tarbiyyah-centered, tailored toward the transfer of knowledge (not content or information) that is the prerequisite for laying the foundations of taqwa in the hearts of our children. The educational aims of an excellent Islamic school should target the wholesome and all-encompassing development of a child and his or her potentials. Developing a child implies the positive stimulation of the spirit (faith-based), the intellectual (the acquisition of knowledge), the philosophical (a culture of inquiry), the rational (comprehension and analysis of the subject), moral (value-laden), aesthetic (appreciation of the arts), physical (strong and healthy), social (positive interactions towards self and society) and the affective (concerned for the rights and welfare of others). The daunting task of educating our children rests heavily on the shoulders of parents and teachers as ‘partners’ in tarbiyyah. After caring for and preparing them with the skills to live life, the responsibility of parents extends to ensuring that the best possible arrangements are made within the community to facilitate quality learning experiences. But before entrusting our children to a formal educational system or institution, parents bear the primary responsibility to equip and reinforce the basic principles of good character and morality (the elements of taqwa) in their children as a necessary foundation to formal learning. The task of choosing the most appropriate school is an onerous one for many parents, because any effect from the experience of the early school years, will have major impressions, even the negative, on a child throughout his learning years and even his life. Parents must be well-informed and meticulous regarding the criteria for choosing an educational institution for their young. Needless to say, IISKD hopes to be a partner with parents to fulfill these expectations as an act of trust to Allah s.w.t and to ensure our children develop effectively as the future ‘Khalifah fil ard’ in current challenging times. It is also indispensable in helping them to adjust themselves successfully in times of great change. We know that this gargantuan task is an Amanah that is beyond our capacity to fulfill alone. Thus, the gathering of words and pictures inked in this prospectus represent the unity of thought and effort to share these ideas with parents, friends, and all who are in search of truly Islamic education. 14. Our purposes may be illustrated by a pair of glasses. One lens is made up of our objectives to develop students with biblical character traits who have integrity as they live in the world. The spiritual formation of students is critical to raising responsive disciples. The other lens is to bring the mind of Christ to education so that students are educated with academic rigor and will be accepted into their English university of choice around the world. IICS believes that both lenses must be in focus for students to reach their full potential. Students are created in God’s image and are made with special characteristics positioning them to carry out God’s design for their lives. Helping your child to live for a Christ-centered purpose includes the “head” knowledge of a biblical worldview, the “heart” knowledge of a personal commitment to Christ, and the outreach experience of faith in action through “hands.” IICS works in tandem with parents to uncover their unique strengths and talents. Within our Kindergarten & Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High, we want children to feel significant and secure in all classrooms and experience a sense of belonging within our biblical learning community. We are looking for an increased number of children, parents, and teachers to join our “shalom community.” Our school is made up of a diverse community of believers from many international locations that are united in the love of Christ. IPEKA Christian School was established when a young Chinese pastor, Dr. William Ho realized that Christian families were unable to find quality Christian schools for their children. Along with several church leaders, he developed a vision for a new school based on three objectives: to educate the nation, provide education of the highest standards, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ through education. These three pillars grew into the mission and vision of IPEKA. We’re building on this legacy as we continue to develop the next generation of strategic leaders who integrate faith and learning. IPEKA INTEGRATED Christian School Kindergarten uses A Beka Christian Curriculum, an integrated, Bible-based curriculum from the U.S. which provides students with knowledge and opportunities to learn more about God through all subjects. The school also applies that philosophy in the daily method of teaching to help students grow in their faith and to protect them from the attack of worldly values. IPEKA INTEGRATED Kindergarten has a 3-year education program (Nursery, Kindergarten 4 {K4}, and Kindergarten 5 {K5}), providing a unique opportunity for students to learn from a variety of teaching materials and methodology from our professional, trained staff. Grade 1 through 6 will use the New South Wales (NSW) Australiacurriculum standards to set their outcomes and plans to continue the learning process. Students will use a variety of textbooks from America, Australia, and other countries that are aligned to the standards of NSW and will provide the desired content outcomes. Students will learn the 21st-century learning skills that cover creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration which are all based on Biblical principles. Lessons are delivered in a variety of different teaching methods, including hands-on activities that give students more opportunities for the personal learning experiences. View full school

Our core values: An understanding of how citizens can influence decision-making through the democratic process An understanding that the freedom to hold other faiths and beliefs is protected in law An acceptance that people having different faiths or beliefs to oneself (or having none) should be accepted and tolerated, and should not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behavior An understanding of the importance of identifying and combating discrimination The ILS has now moved into its permanent home of Dowrey Street, Islington. This building has been specifically designed for our students and opened in June 2017. For many of our pupil's participation and presence in their local community is a crucial part of their curriculum offer and therefore the learning environment is both in school and outside of it for a significant proportion of our students’ time with us. The Integrated Learning Space is a unique and exciting provision for pupils with autism and/or severe learning difficulties who may find a special school setting too big and too overwhelming. The smaller groups on offer at the Integrated Learning Space, along with an individualized approach to all learning opportunities, will support the pupils to achieve and evidence progress. Learning will be supported by a high staff number. The Integrated Learning Space has a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the very specific and individual needs of the pupils. The curriculum is designed around a strand-based model with core subject areas. Activities and interventions are broadly grouped by subject area for ease of understanding. Each pupil has an individualized learning plan addressing the six strands and the modular program, delivered using strategies that are matched to their learning requirements. Each pupil has an individualized learning plan addressing the six strands and the modular program, delivered using strategies that are matched to their learning requirements. The school was started in April 2004, and within a short period, has reached great heights. It is a co-educational, English medium, Senior Secondary School offering courses in Science and Commerce. The School as per its motto strives for the best in education. “Education should not be confined to merely storage of information in our brain but should be such which develops character, moral, self-reliance and wisdom in man". Education in its most effective form has always been an exercise of interaction between the learners and the world around them. The challenge posed by the present world requires that this interaction be raised to a higher plateau. Integrated Indian School envisions striving for excellence and providing an environment, which would nurture the pleasures of Discovery, Learning, Expression, and Communication-thereby maximizing the intellectual capacity and sensitivity of each student. It would prepare today's students to be tomorrow's innovators. To enhance student’s knowledge base, confidence, and analytical skills that will develop their ability to succeed in the competitive world. To prepare children to become self-reliant, productive individuals with charity, precision, and independence, to inspire children to embrace challenge and find joy and self-worth through achievement.
  21. The Integrated Learning Space (ILS) is a unique Specialist School in Islington designed to meet the educational, social, and emotional needs of young people with autism, severe learning difficulties, and challenging behaviors. Our pupils are girls and boys aged from 7 to 19. The ILS is committed to a philosophy of multi-agency and integrated working. We believe that by utilizing the specialist skills of the team around each young person we can achieve the very best potential outcomes for each student at the school. To deliver this we draw on a range of proven educational and therapeutic programs to teach and enrich the lives of the pupils and their families. We work closely with our in-house clinical psychologist to deliver comprehensive parental support and staff wellbeing interventions and invest in researching and sharing our practices wherever possible. Our Vision: To support parents to feel confident, understand and manage their children at home and develop their resilience to continue to do so through periods of difficulty To continue to support and work with the families of children and young people who are in the residential provision To enable young people to return to living at home To provide a tailored education appropriate to each building on their strengths, interests, and learning profiles To overcome the barriers that pupils face when learning and providing evidence of progress in all areas of the curriculum Our Mission: "To improve children and young people’s lives through innovative teaching and integrated approaches". For some of the pupils attending the ILS, English is an additional language. The curriculum is planned for each individual and where appropriate this is taken into account when determining the educational program to be delivered.

  25. El Massria Integrated Schools in Egypt has been one of Egypt's leading schools since it opened its doors to its first 70 students in 1990. Today, EIS has three campuses, with a combined student population of over 4000 students. EIS Egypt is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission NWAC, a group of ten American and British schools spanning six countries and three continents. In partnership with the school community, our mission is to provide eligible students, primarily from the Middle East and living in the Greater Cairo area, with a challenging American and International college preparatory education. Our caring, professional faculty strives to empower our students to become critical, independent thinkers with the skills to be dynamic participants in an ever-changing global society. The world of El-Massria Integrated School is one of honoring traditions and celebrations of the various cultures and beliefs that our world has to offer. Our mission in instilling such Egyptian values as accepting diversity, respecting the individual, working together, and following best practices in National and American education. Our mission is clear we challenge and assist students to become intellectually adept, thoughtful, and ethical contributors to society. We believe the greatest gifts we can give our students are not only strong academic skills but to help them to become ethical individuals of sound character. As educators, we do this best by providing them with an outstanding standards-based academic program and at the same time by modeling life skills such as kindness, cooperation, and perseverance. Caring and experienced teachers work diligently to ensure that all students have a smooth transition from home to school and progress successfully through the meticulously developed curriculum. Our small class sizes allow for maximum teacher/student interaction, assisting students to learn to solve problems, create products and make meaning out of information in an American educational context. English skills are developed through interaction with teachers and fellow students, alongside intensive reading programs and reading marathons. A reading buddy program has been developed whereby older students are paired with younger Elementary students to share skills and develop confidence. Our students are expected to speak English while in school, even during lunch and playtime. This helps build vocabulary and fosters the long-term retention of language skills. EIS offers a rich and rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum that stimulates creative inquiry, intellectual achievement, independent thinking and encourages students to make positive contributions to others. The EIS community instills values such as patience, integrity, courage, and kindness. This is taught through cooperative education, the latest technology, and a House System.
