      1. Salmiya Indian Model School as the name implies is the first CBSC Curriculum School located ideally in Salmiya, Kuwait. The school has been accredited by CBSE. Housed in an open surrounding and an environmental-friendly campus, it provides an exciting setting for young people to flourish academically and socially. Nothing on earth can uplift or force our spirit in quite the same manner as education does. We genuinely believe in our students and their abilities as learners and we take great pride in watching each student thrive intellectually, emotionally, and ethically. We have a multicultural student population hence we teach each child the importance of tolerance and respecting each other’s culture. We continue our commitment to preparing the student to think big and establish goals on their journey of career readiness. Each child who arrives in SIMS comes with their challenges. As our motto life holds a special magic for those who “Dare to Dream”. In every way that schools are measured whether it is through academics, athletics, or performing arts, SIMS supports the need of our students to meet the challenges of the next levels of their educational experience in a safe and rigorous learning environment. Students will be challenged and engaged through authentic learning opportunities that improve them to develop creativity, confidence, and resilience to become independent and ethical lifelong learners. While we celebrate the success of our meritorious students, we take pride in allowing all at SIMS. We are dedicated to improving student performance teacher function and the enhancement of knowledge and skills required for working and learning in our ever-changing society. Our educational environment reflects the world, in which our students will one day live and work. Beyond mastering academic disciplines, SIMS students will be taught to respect all people and things, to be honest with themselves and others, put forth the maximum effort, and seek ways to support their communities. “Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” The academic year 2017 has already dawned and brought celebrations for the SIMS family, celebrations of five successful years since its inception. It is certainly a time of joy and merriment for all of us at SIMS. It also gives us a chance to do introspection and raise the bar level a little higher to accomplish more, to achieve more. The students and parents have been waiting patiently for the addition of a swimming pool and this academic year has brought them the long-awaited news……The pool is ready to be used by SIMS children from April 2017. Our mission is to develop young men with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical, and strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved in our students’ learning. We are proud to announce that we are following the CBSE curriculum. Since its founding in 1962, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has grown to become India’s flagship education board, known for the excellence of its education quality and its service to the nation. At CBSE, we adhere strictly to the philosophy of ‘Creating innovations in teaching-learning methodologies by devising student-friendly and student-centered paradigms’. We impart education with the target of nurturing men and women of dignity who can display independence, creativity, as well as practical ability, and who can contribute to society in various fields.
