With increased access to vast amounts of knowledge and the cultural openness and technological advancements of the twenty-first century, the world has become a small village where the politics and economies of states affect one another. Dubai is no exception, with the city's name becoming synonymous with globalization. With this in mind, the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government strives to embed the guidelines set forth by the UAE and support the vision of its leaders for national growth. By preparing, qualifying, and empowering tomorrow's leaders, and by strengthening government capacity in the UAE and the Arab world, our School aims to promote effective public policy through focusing on applied research and engaging the public and private sectors in the development process. Over the nine years since its establishment in 2005 under the name Dubai School of Government, the School has proved its importance as a unique role model for academic institutions. The School works in close partnership with UAE government departments, combining applied research, training, and education programs, and provides a platform for knowledge exchange. To achieve its mission, the School adheres to global best practices developed in collaboration with US-based Harvard Kennedy School that prepares leaders for democratic societies and contributes to finding holistic solutions to public problems. Such collaborations have enabled MBRSG to become the first research, and teaching institution focused on governance and public policy in the Arab world. In this context, the School has taken on the task of disseminating the UAE's exceptional experience in governance and implementing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

      14. Kyiv-Mohyla Business-School [kmbs] is a school for the leaders who want to drive changes - in themselves, their companies, the nation, the world. Founded in 1999 at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, one of the oldest universities in Europe with almost 400 years of history. We are confident that the radical development programs enjoyed by our students will lead to a quantum leap in the qualitative development of their companies, and so, of course, our nation and the world as a whole. The primary outcome of participating in our programs is a qualitative leap forward for both you and your business. Cambs provides the right environment to give impetus to your development, an intellectual platform for creative thinking among influential colleagues. To achieve real quality advancement, we focus on the personal development of those in management, system thinking, a holistic understanding of business, strategy, and the creation of the next steps forward. After all, it is not just about increasing knowledge but making sure you are always one step ahead of the others. We do not try to provide some "supermanager toolkit" in a "one-size-fits-all" manner. First of all, it is essential to answer the question "why?" Only from this point we can understand what to do next - and then we can progress by doing it. Learning how to open new horizons dramatically adds to the effectiveness and creativity of all those in management. We go beyond merely business issues, draw on the most comprehensive available range of analogical cases, and study people's experiences from often wholly different areas. Cambs is a part of the unique university where leaders have been born for hundreds of years. Today's Academy proudly continues this intellectual heritage and tradition, creating a unique spirit to help create the future and continue the "Leadership Gene." We combine the most effective cutting-edge approaches to understanding both world experience and Ukrainian practice. Our lecturers are those who have done it – hands-on understanding of the business both inside Ukraine and the international community. MBA graduates and alumni often travel on study tours to China, Brazil, Chile, the USA, Israel, Poland, Georgia.

The fact that many of our Alumni are today's leaders illustrates the success of our programs. We offer a select set of master programs: Executive Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Finance, and Master of International Management. In each of these programs, we blend academia with business applications to prepare our students to make informed decisions in real-life situations in uncertain and turbulent environments. We prepare our students to align their decisions with the interests of various stakeholders, such as shareholders, customers, and society. In addition to the master-level programs, we also offer a Ph.D. in Business Administration program (with specializations in Finance, Management & Strategy, Marketing, Operations and Information Systems, and Quantitative Methods), which prepares students for an academic career. Graduates from this program have taken on top academic institutions in India, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, and the United States. An essential quality of GSB is that we incessantly question and improve our curricula. We invite external feedback (International Board of Advisors, EQUIS and AMBA accreditation teams, Alumni) to adapt to global dynamics, ensure a reliable academic approach grounded in fundamental management theories and potential bridge gaps between theory and managerial practice. While contributing to our students' academic and personal development, we also aim to learn from them and their business experiences. All of our programs are highly interactive, using both technology and teaching practices that stimulate knowledge sharing. We are proud to have faculty members who are excellent teachers and renowned researchers. We can also work with various professors from the business world who share their experiences and lessons learned. Another critical factor that sets Koç University Graduate School of Business apart as the number one business school in Turkey and its immediate environment, and as one of the leading schools in Europe, is connectivity. 19. The Munich School of Philosophy follows the long educational tradition of the Jesuits, which has been valued worldwide for over 400 years for the quality of its schools and universities. Founded in 1925 with the name Berchman College in Pullach at the gates of Munich – initially as a training center for new members of the order – the college's move to the Munich university quarter center in 1971 was much more than just a change of location. It also brought state recognition of all qualifications and the university's opening to all students interested in a systematic education in philosophy. You can study philosophy to learn to think. This is not to say that you will learn to think "the right way" in your philosophy course. Instead, it refers to the challenge of getting to grips with your understanding of the world and values, comparing it with others, and finally articulating and discussing it. Philosophy attempts to find answers to hundreds of years old questions but still just as relevant today. One of the reasons for this is that such questions relate to the fundamentals of human existence and thinking. Each branch of philosophy examines a different facet. Munich is known as a center of education and research in Germany. Moreover, Munich stands out due to its extensive selection of museums and cultural institutions. The Bavarian Alps can be reached easily from Munich and provide an excellent selection of recreational opportunities. Different philosophical movements, perspectives, and methodological approaches have always been represented at the Munich School of Philosophy. This diversity is "state of the art" in philosophy and enables topical exchange between the different disciplines. This is precisely why we place a high value on a broad primary education, which – unlike at other universities, aims to cover the entire spectrum of philosophy. Whether studying for their Bachelor degree or their Ph.D., students generally need to have examined the following subjects: In the Federal Republic of Germany, the right to hold the academic qualifications Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Magister Artium, Dr. Phil. and Dr. Phil. habil. It is obtained by passing the relevant examination following the university's rules in agreement with the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science, and the Arts. All of these qualifications have the same significance as those awarded by the state universities. The Munich School of Philosophy is officially recognized as a non-state, academic university in the sense of Art. 76–85 BayHSchG (Bavarian University and College Act). Under the decrees of Sacra Congregation pro Institutione Catholica, Rome, of 7 June and 28 October 1971, as well as the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts by notice from 24 September 1971 and 17 November 1972, the Munich School of Philosophy is open to all students with higher education entrance qualification and can award the students with Baccalaureate in Philosophy and the academic qualifications Magister Artium in Philosophy (corresponds to the ecclesiastical licentiate) and Dr. Phil. according to the relevant requirements. On 24 July 1990, the Bavarian State Parliament awarded the Munich School of Philosophy the right to confer post-doctorates. On 24 July 2009, the Munich School of Philosophy's recognition by the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts was changed to the effect that the Bachelor of Arts can also be conferred as an academic degree in the future. Since 19 June 2012, the Munich School of Philosophy can also award the title Master of Arts. With this, the Baccalaureate and Magister programs are being phased out. The state-recognized and canonical programs of study Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Master of Arts in Philosophy (consecutive) were accredited for the first time by the accreditation agency AKAST until 30 September 2019. The state-recognized postgraduate study course Master of Arts in Ethics was accredited for the first time until 30 September 2019 by the accreditation agency ACQUIN. In the Federal Republic of Germany, the right to hold the academic qualifications Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Magister Artium, Dr. Phil. and Dr. Phil. habil. 20. The ISM offers its students a comprehensive international education. Bachelor's students must combine their business studies with English and either French or Spanish, or Italian. For international students, German is mandatory. Students complete one or two semesters of study abroad in a European or overseas country. ISM International FocusDepending on their specialization, ISM students choose an institution from the ISM's more than 170 partner universities. The semester abroad is designed to develop further and expand their intercultural and language competencies and enhance and deepen their professional knowledge in an international context. In addition to their study abroad semester, they also complete at least ten weeks of their 20-week internship period at a company outside Germany. All bachelor's programs include lectures held in English and German except for B.A. International Management English Trail, which is entirely taught in English. The master's programs also include a study abroad semester. Students spend the third semester of their program overseas at one of the ISM partner universities specializing in their study field. Foreign language courses in Spanish or French form part of the core curriculum of the master's programs. Moreover, all programs include lectures held in English, M.Sc. International Management, M.Sc. Finance, M.Sc. International Logistics & Supply Chain Management and M.A. International Business are entirely taught in English. Additionally, all programs also offer students the opportunity to complete an international double degree. Like the bachelor's and the master's programs, the ISM's part-time programs have an international focus. All programs include modules abroad. Also, the MBA General Management program is taught entirely in English. All ISM programs are rigorously geared to the needs of the real business world. This goal is fostered by ISM lecturers' hands-on experience, many of whom have held or currently hold management positions in the business world. Furthermore, comprehensive internship phases and a practically-oriented thesis form the foundation of ISM programs. Influential corporate representatives serving on the Board of Trustees help to shape the ISM's educational concept. They allow students to do internships and consulting projects for class credits at their companies. By taking advantage of these opportunities, ISM students gain extensive experience solving practical problems in daily professional life. Besides, ISM students directly contact company representatives by participating in company presentations, career fairs, and case studies. Students can discuss their career opportunities with these representatives in a personal atmosphere. The growing number of ISM alumni also enriches the ISM network. In contrast to the typical anonymity of large lecture halls in many universities, the ISM offers students a personal atmosphere thanks to small class sizes, an interactive learning environment, and many leisure activities. The small class size allows instructors to give students individual attention and forms the groundwork for an interactive classroom environment. At the same time, collegiality among students is highly encouraged. This is underlined by the many case studies and consulting team projects. The objective of group and project work is to learn how to build and organize teams to achieve a positive result. Extracurricular activities such as student working groups and parties help students to expand their professional network. Additionally, students have a digital communication platform in the form of the ISM Intranet. This is an online forum for students to discuss lectures, a report from their semester abroad, and access or post internship offers. Finally, students spend part of their free time in student societies, which are offered independently of the standard curriculum. The first three semesters of all ISM bachelor's programs provide students with the fundamentals of business management. Depending on their chosen study program, this core education is supplemented by lectures in communications, tourism, psychology, fashion management, or finance. Besides the fundamental management courses, students also take two program-specific courses in each of the first three semesters. In the fifth and sixth semesters, bachelor's students take two program-specific modules and two elective ones. In addition to these academic skills, soft skills and foreign languages are also trained. The compulsory course in Business Ethics is further complimented by social competence training, including teambuilding or intercultural management, allowing students to develop the cultural sensitivity necessary for international teams' responsible and fair leadership. The master's programs are designed to provide students with extensive professional knowledge in a short period. The first semester is comprised of twelve to 13 obligatory lectures. The second semester, also known as the specialization semester, consists of compulsory modules and a selection of elective modules from which students can choose to meet the demands of their specialization. In addition to gaining professional knowledge, students also practice soft skills such as communication and negotiation techniques. Case studies and hands-on projects guarantee that students can apply their theoretical knowledge to practical use at a very early stage and foster cooperation and teamwork. ISM students acquire professional skills, gain practical experience, and have the chance to be immersed in other cultures - all within a short period. This diverse and exciting educational experience is made possible by a well-structured program of study. While students at other universities are enjoying their semester breaks, ISM students are gaining real-life professional experience. In their search for future managers, companies are looking for graduates who have completed their studies quickly while gaining hands-on experience and intercultural skills at international universities and companies. Undergraduates at the ISM acquire these skills in six or seven semesters. They then have the option to complete a master's degree within three additional semesters, plus the time spent writing the master's thesis. A well-structured program makes this efficient course of study possible. Both the bachelor's and master's programs have a set timeframe for the required internships or practical phases. Similarly, the ISM's part-time programs are based on a tightly-structured concept as well.
      21. The Hertie School of Governance is a private university based in Berlin, Germany, accredited by the state and the German Science Council. It prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. Interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, first-class research, and an extensive international network set the Hertie School apart and position it as an ambassador of good governance, characterized by public debate and engagement. Our motto is "Understand today. Shape tomorrow". The Hertie School of Governance was formally founded as a private, non-profit institution in December 2003 by the Hertie Foundation, becoming the first professional school for public policy in Germany. Offering programs that emphasized academic excellence and practical orientation in Berlin's reunified capital, the Hertie School was, from its start, a unique educational institution in Germany. The school began by organizing panels, symposia, and discussions, providing a platform for policymakers, professionals, and practitioners from the media, NGOs, and businesses to engage with academia. In February 2005, the Hertie School was granted official state recognition and given the Berlin Senate's authority to award the academic title Master of Public Policy as an institution of higher learning. The first cohort of students in the two-year Master of Public Policy program began their studies in September 2005, and the program has grown each year considerably. In September 2008, the school launched its second master's program: the Executive Master of Public Administration. Together with the Freie Universität Berlin and the Social Science Centre Berlin (WZB), the Hertie School established the Berlin School of Transnational Studies in 2008. In 2011, the Hertie School was one of the few private universities in Germany to receive award doctorates. The Doctoral Programme in Governance started in 2012. The first cohort of the new study program, Master of International Affairs, began their studies in 2015. The Hertie School of Governance is a private university based in Berlin, accredited by the state and the German Science Council. It prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. This course introduces students to the policy process from a governance perspective. It analyses the capacity of political actors to design instruments to influence particular outcomes in different fields. Focusing on governance, rather than governments, students gain a broad perspective in the range of relevant actors involved in the policy process. The course provides students with a thorough understanding of the policy process and the perspective to achieve their targets as future policy actors. The course is taught as a seminar with about 25 participants. It is offered with different foci such as social policy, energy policy, or the EU's policy process. This course deals with the design and operation of organizations that matter for public policy. It provides an understanding of how these organizations' tick' internally, how they shape the design and implementation of public policies, and how they can be 'governed'. Critical thinking about solutions offered in debates related to public management issues will be encouraged. The course is taught as a seminar with about 25 participants. This course provides students with an introduction to micro-and macroeconomics. It is suitable for students without an economics background, though students who have received prior training will also benefit from the course. It focuses on the core topics such as supply and demand analysis, market and price analysis, competition, market failure, asymmetric information, externalities and government intervention, game theory and uncertainty, macroeconomic equilibrium, money market and the role of central banks, labor market, aggregate demand and supply, government and fiscal policies. This course elucidates the relationship in modern societies between law and governance, i.e., between legal structures and rules and decision-making. It is divided into three main parts: foundational legal techniques and sources, such as legal interpretation and argumentation, the relationship between law and policymaking and the trans-nationalization of modern law, and the impact of such trans-nationalization the law's form, structures, and substance. By examining primary legal materials and their interaction with contemporary public policy issues and dilemmas, students gain competencies in reading and applying legal sources and understanding the impact of the law on decision-making at different governance levels. The course is taught as a seminar with approximately 25 participants. The course builds on the foundations laid in Economics I during the first semester. Students deepen their knowledge and acquire analytical competencies in this course, depending on their field of interest. They can choose between three variations of the course: Open Economy and Exchange Rates, Public Sector Economics, or Growth and Trade. Each course is taught as a lecture with about 80 participants. The lecture is complemented by a lab session (with about 16 participants) in which students have the chance to discuss and further elaborate on the topics covered in the lecture. Students decide on their concentration during the first semester and either attend the Statistics II course (for students with the Policy Analysis concentration) or the Management and Leadership course (for students with the Management and Organisation concentration). To refine and deepen their quantitative analysis or management skills, they attend at least two concentration-based electives in their third or fourth semester.
      22. The Hannover Medical School, founded in 1965, is one of the world's leading university medical centers. Our research and patient care set national and international standards. We are also part of an excellent regional medical network. Our outstanding success in interdisciplinary collaboration both within the MHH and with extramural scientific institutions is reflected in the fact that the MHH is the German medical university with the most significant grant funding volume. The origins of the Hannover Medical School (MHH) go back to 1961. In June of that year, the National Science Council (WR) recommended that seven new academies of medicine be founded in the Federal Republic of Germany to increase the number of students of medicine by 7,000. Within the month, the parliament of Lower Saxony decided to go forward with plans to establish a state medical university here. A committee to found a medical academy in Hannover met for the first time in December of 1961. By February of the following year, it had been decided that this academy would be located in Hannover's city. On April 1, 1963, the government of Lower Saxony issued an order to establish the Medical Academy of Hannover, and this was to be the MHH. In 1965, after less than four years of planning, the medical school structure had been decided on, and construction plans were complete. On May 17, 1965, a celebration marking the founding of the MHH was held at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. The founding rector of the MHH was the internist, Professor Rudolf Schoen of the University of Göttingen. He was succeeded by the first elected rector, Professor Fritz Hartmann, who played a decisive role in the concept and physical form of the MHH. The MHH was realized as a university campus on grounds in Roderbruch. The proximity of the clinics and institutes guarantees intense integration of patient care, research, and teaching. The first classes were held in the summer semester of 1965, in the Hannover Oststadt Hospital. The student-teacher ratio was ideal, with 12 teachers and 41 students, but this did not remain for long. Within ten years, the number of students rose to about 1,000, and after only 20 years, to 3,000. With the addition of new departments, the original number of 12 professors increased to about 140. Only 12 years after the MHH was founded, 80 percent of the planned departments and clinics realized. HBRS is an interdisciplinary graduate school for physicians (MD/Ph.D., MBBS, Dr.med.) and life scientists (Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, etc.). Currently, HBRS students come from more than 40 different countries. In October 2006, HBRS was awarded the title "excellent graduate school." HBRS receives support for more than six years from the German government (DFG) in the German "Excellence Initiative." Additional funding is available through - among others - participating in the DFG Excellence Clusters "REBIRTH" (MHH) as well as "Hearing4all" (Oldenburg/ MHH), the Georg Christoph Lichtenberg program of Lower Saxony (DEWIN) as well as the "Niedersachsen Vorab" program by the Ministry of Science and Culture/ Volkswagenstiftung. HBRS was founded in October 2003. All graduate programs (see left) of Hannover Medical School and partner institutes are coordinated here. We are very proud to announce that our Ph.D. program "Molecular Medicine" and HBRS celebrated its 15th anniversary of structured doctoral training in October 2015. We are the pioneering graduate school in Germany in the field of Biomedicine.

      25. The focus of the ISS International Business School of Service Management is on the support and development of organizations where service is – or will become – an essential element of the business model. The ISS assists companies, nationally and internationally, with their transformation projects, including assessments, consulting, professional development, and management training. As a "Business School, "we regard an organization's strategic direction and its operational implementation as two inseparable elements required to achieve the market's planned impact. For that reason, initiatives that actively promote an organization's transformation are an integral part of our offering. People from client organizations actively participate in analysis and consulting projects. In professional development and training programs, transfer projects – so-called 'Real Life projects (RLPs)' - provide the link to participants' daily practice and organizational reality and demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) of the program. The ISS International Business School of Service Management has five years of experience developing and implementing academic study programs focusing on management and developing organizations where services are – or will be become - an essential part of the business model. The ISS intends to include these master programs and the MBA Service Management into another university's programs. To this end, talks have been started. Please send us an e-mail if you are interested in participating in the ISS part-time studies, either as a student or as an organization. The recognition of the ISS International Business School of Service Management as a University for Management and Business Development by §§ 114, 115 of the State of Hamburg's University legislation became valid with the launch of the first program on January 11, 2008, and expired on September 30, 2014. The public recognition included the following programs accredited by FIBAA ISS's business as a publicly-recognized University for programs with a focus on Service management is not economically sustainable for this topic, given the number of enrolled students. Therefore, at the end of the year 2013, the decision was taken to cease operations as the an independent University of the State of Hamburg and not apply for a prolongation of public recognition. As a result, two other accredited Master's Programs have not been started within the recognition framework as a public University of the State of Hamburg. The ISS intends to include these master programs and the MBA Service Management into another university's programs. To this end, talks have been started. Service First: Leveraging service as a success factor for organizations is the philosophy of ISS. We assist our customers in orienting their strategies towards their future markets, and we provide targeted organizational and personal development programs. At the ISS, we define service as a provider/customer interaction that creates value for all the parties involved. The ISS International Business School of Service Management, Hamburg, offers consulting and professional qualification services for organizations, managers, and employees based on academic research and practical feasibility. The objective is the successful implementation of future-oriented services in an international environment. With services, either as a product-related or stand-alone version, different perspectives have to be combined to offer real added value for all the partners involved: Service provider and customer, experience and innovation, people and systems, results and experience. With its programs, the ISS strengthens organizations' service orientation and supports the development of sustainable partnerships with customers. Also, it assists in developing the competencies required for the development, marketing, and realization of future-oriented customer solutions - for business support that generates growing customer delight and loyalty. Markets are changing; new technologies produce innovations, economic, legal, or political conditions are shifting, new business owners define new targets and cultures – there are many reasons why change is required. As resources are limited, clear priorities have to be set – not everything that needs to be adapted or modified can be changed simultaneously, and interdependencies have to be considered. Hence the question: Where to start? Which changes and actions have the highest impact on market acceptance and customer loyalty on the one hand, and which ones help, on the other hand, to focus resources effectively, to increase efficiency, and to boost profitability? The ISS offers specific approaches to analyze an organization's external and internal environments to identify the most powerful levers for change. The ISS cooperates with you to develop the required strategies, concepts, and implementation measures, whose execution will also be monitored. A traffic light system will show you where corrective action is required. Still, not all topics are "our topics "- our approaches do not always work. Therefore, a clear 'No' in the beginning is more honest and better – the recommendation to look for alternative solutions leads to customer retention and loyalty. However, we will first discuss and evaluate whether we can jointly develop a sustainable solution. We are looking forward to this type of exchange with you, and we will make the required time available. Do you want to start and inform us about your challenges?
