The first English-Speaking Institution of higher education in Tunisia, founded in 2002 by Dean Mahmoud Triki, M.S.B., has developed programs that aim at the education of visionary entrepreneurs able to succeed in an increasingly global economy. M.S.B. stands out for:

    • The only Executive M.B.A. delivered by a Tunisian School and internationally accredited by the London-based Association of M.B.A.s (AMBA).
    • The only Masters in Business Management in Africa to receive the AMBA London accreditation. Multinational and highly-qualified Faculty with PhDs from the most renowned universities worldwide such as Harvard, M.I.T., London Business School…
    • A valuable network of Partner Business Schools: students could start at M.S.B. and finish at one of M.S.B. Business School Partners, H.E.C. Montréal, Babson, Maryland, UMASS, South Carolina, and CATÓLICA-LISBON…
    • Hands-on, interactive pedagogical methods through the use of case studies as well as Soft Skills Development, including teamwork, the spirit of initiative, Communication, and Leadership.
    • Cutting Edge Facilities and a unique learning environment.

Today, M.S.B. programs (Licence, Master, Executive M.B.A. & Seminars) boast an outstanding network of faculty, staff, and students, who all come together in a multi-cultural setting that is conducive to learning, growth, and development with an intellectual vitality comparable to the finest North American and European higher education institutions.

Highly qualified professors conduct MSB-MedTech Executive seminars in a highly stimulating and dynamic environment conducive to intellectual and technical growth and maturity. Besides a unique learning experience that combines up-to-date management skills and exposure to the international business environment, participants also benefit from ideal and lucrative networking opportunities.

S.M.U. was fortunate to have the support of its founding members that count among them corporations, business leaders, professionals, and scholars. To ensure the university's academic independence, no single founding member has been given a binding vote.

The initial S.M.U. The team instituted the Executive M.B.A. program, which was overseen by Dr. Mahmoud Triki. Joining Dr. Triki's efforts was a first-team that included Dr. Taoufik Jelassi, Professor of Management Technology and Information Systems, and Dean of the International M.B.A. at Ecole Nationales des Ponts et Chaussée de Paris and Nabil Triki, then Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris.

As the program gained momentum, the team expanded to include Neila Gharsallah, Stanford alumnae holding an M.S. in Management I.T. engineers Haythem Abdelkafi and Nadhir Douma and M.B.A. holder from George Washington University, Hala Ammar who later became the Director of Admissions.

The 2+2 program allows students to complete the first two years of the "Bachelor of Business Administration- B.B.A." at M.S.B. in Tunis and then transfer to H.E.C. Montréal in Canada to complete the two last/ remaining years and obtain the Bachelor's degree of H.E.C. Montréal.

The curriculum of the two first years at M.S.B. is similar in all respects to H.E.C. Montréal B.B.A. in terms of instruction language (French, English, or bilingual), content, teaching methods, and access to the H.E.C. Montréal library. H.E.C will also provide some of the classes at M.S.B. Montréal professors.

The B.B.A. curriculum offers a solid general training, the guarantee of versatility on the job market, and a proper preparation for graduate studies.

The curriculum is a three-level one that helps a smooth progression from one step to the other. It is divided as follows:

    • The first year is the preparatory one, during which high school degree holders are offered the opportunity to upgrade their skills.
    • The first level during which students are initiated to the Business Environment through subjects such as management, accounting, economics, sociology, and applied mathematics.
    • The second level during which the students have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and acquire the basics in management.
    • The third level, during which the students acquire expert knowledge in a management-related field.
