The Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM) was incorporated into the HSE structure on December 30, 2011, as a subdivision specializing in educating highly qualified engineers and scientists. Miami's mission is to acquire fundamental knowledge and develop applied technologies in the electronics, engineering, and aerospace industries. Since its founding in 1962, MIEM has been one of the leading Russian technical universities conducting top-level research in applied mathematics, physics, electronics, I.T., and robotics. MIEM is organized into three schools (School of Applied Mathematics, School of Computer Engineering, School of Electronic Engineering), seven joint departments, and six research laboratories. It has approximately 200 faculty members and more than 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty members include 9 Academicians and Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences and 34 Russian State Prize Laureates. MIEM offers undergraduate programs in: Computer Science and Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Info communication Technologies and Communication Systems. Current research and education areas include mathematical and computer simulation, control systems and information processing, cybersecurity and cryptology, computational systems and networks, 3D-visualization and computer graphics technologies, intelligent control systems and robotics, Big Data, electronics and nanoelectronics, condensed matter physics, information and communication devices, and communication systems. MIEM is regularly one of the six leading technical universities in Russia in university rankings by admission quality. A study carried out in 2015 by the SuperJob recruitment agency and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science showed that the average monthly salary for MIEM graduates one year after graduation is 97,000 roubles.MIEM graduates are in demand and work at large international companies, such as Microsoft, Intel, IBM, АМD Boeing, and Airbus, in the defense industry and at research centers, in RAS institutes and leading Russian ICT companies, such as Yandex, Kaspersky Lab, I-Teco, and others.

The Moscow School was conceived and began operating at the beginning of the 1990s. For the first time in many decades, it became possible to create something new within Russia's education system: something different in content, different in form, and methodology. During this period, the main aim of the School was to create a university in Russia that could compete with the best universities in the world. On the one hand, it was necessary to prevent the outflow of talented youth to the West. On the other hand, it was a chance to prove that there are no fundamental obstacles to applying Western models of higher education in Russia. Six years before the Bologna Declaration signing, the Moscow School had already adopted the "Bologna structure." Considering its mission's specific characteristics, it would be more advisable to establish such a research university in Moscow. The university could be built based on the integration of Moscow State Pedagogical University and Sholokhov Moscow State University for Humanities. The analysis of monitoring's results of the effectiveness of 2014 institutes of higher education shows both the mutual supplementation of its potentials in some areas and common problems that can be solved by combining and optimizing its activities.

MUIV is a modern and rapidly evolving university with (NUMBER) full-time students and (NUMBER) e-learning students. All MUIV students graduate with a government-certified diploma. The University was established in 1993 and was one of the first private universities in Russia to obtain an official license to conduct educational activities. Today, the University's main object is the training of highly skilled engineers and research and educational personnel and establishing advanced research and development activities in the interests of machine building and defense-industrial sector progress. The multidisciplinary scientific-educational structure includes the net of educational and researching and manufacturing centers equipped with the up-to-date material and technical basis and well-developed infrastructure. Today at the University, there are more than 5,000 students and 450 PhD-students (including about 10% of international students from 18 countries worldwide). Every collective's life begins from the first step taken by people who decide to start a new business. For the Moscow State Technical University "MAMI" (UMech) such a step and, as well, the beginning of the complicated but bright history of the University development was the establishment of a small vocational school in Moscow, which later turned into one of the leading secondary technical schools in tsarist Russia – Komisarov Technical School (KTS). Activities of this School had a significant impact on the formation and improvement of the Russian professional education. The teaching staff of educational institutions, organized on its basis, including the staff of the UMech, preserved and developed the experience and traditions of the Komisarov Technical School through the post-revolution period. At present more than 35,000 students are training at the University, the teaching staff is almost 1500 people. There are 78 departments and seven institutes in the University (Engineering Design Institute, Industrial and Technological Institute, Environmental and Chemical Engineering Institute, Chernomyrdin Humanitarian-economic Institute, Institute for Basic Competencies, Institute of Additional Education, International Institute, which provides training for international students). There are 11 comfortable dormitories. The University is provided with a sufficiently modern technical basis for training students: there are 21 buildings with well-equipped lecture-halls, training and scientific laboratories, computer classrooms, sports halls, a scientific-technical library which numbers nearly one mln. Books, dining halls, and canteens. Following the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia of March 21, 2016, the Moscow Polytechnic University has been created as a result of a reorganization in the form of merging the UMech (MAMI) and the Moscow State University of Printing Arts named after Ivan Fedorov (MGUP). Andrey Nikolaenko (former Rector of MAMI) has been appointed Rector of the Moscow Polytechnic University. During all its life, the institute always played a crucial role in our country in the area of training high-skilled personnel for the chemical, petrochemical, and gas industries, industrial biotechnology, municipal environment protection, engineering methods of environment protection from harmful emissions, and industrial and agricultural waste, for defining solutions of rational usage of natural and energy resources.

Moscow State Mining University is one of the oldest universities in Moscow. In 2008 the Moscow State Mining University celebrated its 90th anniversary. A long tradition of education passed down from generation to generation, the teaching staff of the University, these days combined with the latest technology and the latest scientific achievements. MSMU has come a long way from birth in its most difficult years of the Civil War, through the Great Patriotic War to remain one of the leading universities in the USSR and Russia in mining technology. Now, MSMU prepares mining engineers of the highest level. However, in our time in Moscow, Mining has other, not narrow, mining degrees. It is a faculty of automation, robotics, and computer science, with several departments preparing economists. Strong positions in the mining industry were achieved thanks to advanced computer technology, continually improving mining and processing mineral resources. Since 1918, the University has trained more than 50,000 professionals: engineers, bachelors, and masters. In 2008, 6,500 students studied at the Moscow State Mining University.
