2017 has been a year of challenge and change for our school. In December we appointed our new headteacher, who has already been actively working with us on our Post Inspection Action Plan and School Development Plan over the past weeks and months. Ysgol Glanwydden serves the catchment area of Penrhyn Bay, Penrhynside, Bryn Pydew, and Glanwydden. In September 2016 we have 310 pupils including part-time (nursery) pupils. Ysgol Glanrafon is a designated Welsh-medium school, which is situated on the outskirts of the town of Mold.
