There is a happy and hard-working ethos at the school where everybody is treated as an individual and receives recognition and appreciation from everybody at the school. The school was built in 1976 with an extension built-in in 1999. The school building consists of a hall, classrooms for years 3 and 4, Foundation Phase Unit, head-teacher's office, kitchen, staffroom, and toilets. The school opened in September 1995 with 118 children as a result of the ever-growing demand by parents for Welsh-medium education.
