      1. Our campus is situated in a purpose-designed building just south of the Han River in the centrally located Seocho District. After opening in 2010 with 223 students we have steadily expanded our role to accommodate over 600 students from the Nursery to Year 13 age groups (ages 3 to 18 years). At Dulwich College Seoul, we aim to make education a memorable experience for your children. The College offers a friendly and intimate learning environment where we aim for all students to be nurtured, challenged, and inspired. It is important to me that all our families become part of a close-knit community, both within our College and as part of the ever-expanding Dulwich family worldwide. Education is a partnership between the school and home, so these links are vital in supporting your children through their formative Primary and Senior School years. Anything we do at the College will always focus on maximizing the learning opportunities, welfare, and happiness of our students. Dulwich College Seoul is an inspiring place in which to study, being home to learners from many different countries and continents. We actively harness this diversity and teach our students to value and respect the wealth of cultures, religions, and traditions that make our school such an enriching place for your children. Our students deserve success and it is our responsibility to help them realize it. True happiness and future achievement depend upon being comfortable with oneself and upon standing out from the crowd, not simply blending in with it. Success comes in many forms but is not achieved without the effort and stamina that comes naturally to some but not to others. This clear vision - to create the best schools in the world so our students make a positive difference - guides the decisions we make as a family of schools. Our schools, founded in 2003 by parents who wanted the best for their children, have always and will continue to put our students first. We use the strength of our network to continue to pioneer and innovate in all aspects of the organization – from curricula and educational spaces to events and technology. Our students are already among the world’s best, and our young alumni, who are all still under 30, are already beginning to make a difference as they enter the worlds of medicine, law, business, technology, the arts, and public service. We can’t wait to see what they’ll do. Dulwich College Seoul was the fourth to join the Dulwich College International (DCI) family of schools, opening its doors in 2010. The College is made up of over 650 students from age 3 to age 18, with over forty different nationalities represented in our diverse student body. Our links to Dulwich College, founded in 1619, are strong, and we collaborate closely with the other schools in the network to encourage an international outlook and create an extended community where academic ability is fostered, creativity is valued, and diversity is celebrated. We are proud to share a common heritage with all the schools in the DCI network, and equally value the traditions, unique to our school, that we have created since we opened. Dulwich College Seoul educates children from age 3 to 18, and English is the language of instruction. Children up to age 5 follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, and from Year 1 to Year 9 they follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, which is enhanced to meet the needs of our international student body. In Year 10 they begin the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), a rigorous two-year course that requires students to take a broad range of subjects covering maths and sciences, English and foreign languages, and the humanities. It culminates in exams at the end of Year 11 and prepares students well for the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) starting in Year 12. Being part of a network allows our schools to work together, leveraging their talent and resources to put on events, forge internal and external relationships, and share experiences. This exposes our students and staff to a rich and varied choice of experiences that individual schools could not offer on their own. By our group’s relationships with leading educational and artistic institutions, Dulwich College International students perform soliloquies under the tutelage of actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company, sing with the Vienna Boys’ Choir, and work with the innovative musicians from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. They take an active part in group sporting, artistic, intellectual, and leadership events, such as the Diversity series, the Dulwich Festival of Music, the Science and Art Photo Competition, the Shakespeare Festival, the Mike Gatting Cricket Festival, the Shackleton Lectures, and the Student Leadership Conference. They learn about the importance of giving back through community service, and as many of these projects are brought under the umbrella of the Dulwich International Schools Foundation, their opportunities will expand further. They enjoy the benefits of the extensive, structured program of professional learning that we provide to all our staff members. They will reap the benefits of our STEAM curriculum in our SE21 Studios, as well as our pioneering Mandarin program, which addresses the unique challenges of teaching this complex and wonderful language. With group support, we have made a huge investment of time in both these programs, which are so crucial to preparing our children for the future. Our network attracts leading and innovative academic leaders. The Dulwich College International Schools Team support the academic teams at each of our schools, giving them the advantage of their specialist knowledge, ensuring consistency in the content and quality of our teaching, and spreading innovations they may observe at one school throughout the group. And finally, our network strengthens community bonds. Students from different Dulwich College International schools may get to know each other one year through a group event, and find themselves classmates the next when one of them has moved from, say, Dulwich College in Singapore to Dulwich College Shanghai. Students facing the challenges of an international move will make a much smoother transition when their new school is so familiar. With many of our teachers transferring within the family of schools as well, we can keep the benefits of their knowledge and experience within the group. View full school
      2. Global Christian Foreign School is a foreign school located in the heart of Seoul, Korea in Hannam-dong. The school is accredited by the Korean Ministry of Education and holds membership in the College Board, Association of Christian Schools International, and Council of International School Administration in Korea. Since 1996, we have been devoted to raising global Christian leaders in grades K-12, serving expatriate families, and preparing students to excel at the university level. Many of our students have gone on to competitive schools such as Yale University, NYU, University of Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California at Berkeley, Parsons School of Design, and more. We currently have a 100% acceptance rate among graduates into higher education institutions. We invite you to join our rich and unique academic community, filled with passionate and caring educators that carry a high level of expertise in their respective content area. With a faculty-to-student ratio of around 1 to 5, our teachers take great pride in providing a personalized learning experience for each student. We thrive on providing an atmosphere in which each student is seen as a unique individual, capable of learning beyond what his or her capabilities and past experiences have revealed. GCFS admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin, but the applicant must meet legal eligibility requirements.GCFS is a registered foreign school with the Korean government, as such, students attending a foreign school in Korea must satisfy one of the following three categories of eligibility set forth by the Korean Ministry of Education. All parents, upon admissions of the student(s), are required to read, sign and support the school's philosophy and doctrinal statement demonstrating their support of Christian Education. Although GCFS respects the religious preferences of our students' parents and does not discriminate based on religious affiliation, all instruction is given in the context of our statement of faith (located on the 'About' page). Students from other religious backgrounds may not be excused from religious instruction or activities of the school. Currently, GCFS is following the standards set by the Common Core State Standards. The Common Core State Standards not only address the needs of educational standards in the United States but have been extracted from important international models as well. These standards have been adopted by forty-four states, and the ongoing endeavor for the perfection of these standards draws upon the work of state departments of education, scholars, assessment developers, professional organizations, educators from K-12, parents, students, and the public. GCFS also stands as a member of the Association of Christian School International (ACSI). The standards and benchmarks that come with this accreditation will also be implemented in the classroom. Here at GCFS, we are committed to creating a safe learning environment for all students. We are committed to holding our students to high behavior expectations that are consistent from K-12. Our three expectations are that our students will be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. May many blessings be poured out to all the visitors, parents, GCFS family members, and all the nations that are directly involved with Global Christian Foreign School. In 1996, GCFS was founded by Pastor Joseph Song who majored in Chemical Engineering, Education, Christian Counseling and received his M.Div. In 1999, after his passing, his wife Soon-Rahn Song continued the vision for GCFS and is currently the headmistress of GCFS. Our continuous vision for GCFS is for every individual student to be raised and released as a global Christian leader. And in the last 20 years, approximately 40 different nations came to receive Christian education from the Christ-centered standards and values we uphold. This vision has been possible through the many faithful kingdom workers that have partnered with us in bringing excellence in teaching, serving, and raising each student. The maximum capacity of our school is 100 and that is our main strength as we foster a culture of family between teachers, staff, and students. Many students and alumni will testify how it is not solely academic progress that is evident, but a character transformation that is experienced by those who enter through the school doors. Understanding the heartbeat of why GCFS exists, these very same students are going out into the world and displaying their leadership as the light and salt of this world. In a very self-centered and entitled generation, a sense of family and putting others first is not easily found or valued. However, as a student body of K-12 grade, consistently learn and grow in a place of love. To care and nurture one another as we become one family. For your child, we continue to take our calling and purpose with Christ’s love to raise and release them into the crooked and depraved generation and to bring light and hope as global Christian leaders. We as a school are always ready and prepared for your child to join us and become a family member. Our prayer is that they can be the beautiful and precious light to bring Christ’s hope and glory to many nations. View full school
      3. Seoul Academy provides all students with vast opportunities for learning and community involvement. The entire Seoul Academy community shares the responsibility for building the academic success of each student. The mission of Seoul Academy is to ensure students achieve their maximum potential and lead humane, creative, literate, trustworthy, self-directed, and self-sufficient lives. The two biggest aims of the Library Program are to help ensure every student is fully literate and also to stir excitement and satisfaction out of virtually every read for every student. 'Library class' is attended by elementary students only where students will participate in several reading activities or other support readings that all serve to advance their learning in this important field. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer many other extra subjects at Seoul Academy. These subjects, in conjunction with the core curriculum, give the students a well-rounded education. While each is a self-contained subject, cross-curriculum projects and activities are encouraged and, when possible, teachers frequently assign projects that combine 2 or more subjects. While there is no specific deadline for application, an admission decision is made on a 'first-come-first-serve' basis. This means that the application process may end sooner whenever all available enrollment spots are filled. There is a clear advantage to applying early. Elementary school education is the foundation upon which all future learning is built. As such, Seoul Academy is committed to providing each student with a safe and supportive learning environment. Our low student-teacher ratio ensures that teachers can give each student the attention they need to succeed. Our classrooms are bright and inspiring full of active, engaged learners. Our teachers are highly qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences. Our curriculum is comprehensive and prepares students for the life and academic challenges in their futures. We strive to provide a well-rounded program that enables proficiency in all subject areas, the arts, physical education, and second language instruction. We care about the social and emotional well-being of each student. We model and expect students to exhibit the skills and attitudes for appropriate social interaction that will enable them to be confident and productive citizens in a global community. Our goal is for students to become motivated, independent learners, capable of achieving success in a complex, ever-changing world. Seoul Academy's middle school program offers a dynamic curriculum ranging from the traditional core subjects (English, Social studies, math, and science) to a wide variety of other curricula including Chinese, Computers, and more. While there is a heavy emphasis on preparing students to meet the challenges of high school abroad in countries like America, Seoul Academy's small-size classes ensure that every middle student receives the individual care and attention to succeed in their particular pursuits beyond the middle school level. Indeed, one big aim of the middle school program is to ensure that every class is personalized, relevant, and stimulating. In the process, all students will study intensively and thoroughly all subject strands expected for high school entrance in a typical secondary environment. At Seoul Academy Elementary, each child in grades PK-4 takes general music class twice a week. Music instructions are planned to meet the US National Standards for Music Education through the use of textbooks and other approved resources. The lower grade levels first learn to use their voices to sing, their bodies to make movements, and percussion instruments to feel the rhythm to explore music and to develop their musicianship. The upper-grade levels continue to learn to sing, dance, play different families of instruments, read notes, ear train, and compose short pieces of music to further develop their musicality. We also offer an extracurricular activity, The Music Makers, for elementary students who want to have even more fun with music. Students experience various genres of music such as choral singing, musical plays, and instrument performances (ex. bucket drumming, recorder, boomwhackers). Furthermore, they learn self-discipline, teamwork, and commitment through being a member of an ensemble. The Music Makers perform at our school’s two major musical events held each year. Our world still, and for the foreseeable future, uses print media as the primary source of news and information. With this in mind, we at Seoul Academy encourage all of our students to develop their reading ability continuously. Indeed, reading comprises several important skills including reading comprehension, critical thinking, drawing out key information in reading material, interpreting inferential material correctly, and connecting their own real-life experiences to the material they read. Summer reading allows students to maintain these skills learned during the regular school year. Every year, Seoul Academy provides an updated list of summer reading books that we feel are quite beneficial in terms of advancing the skills described above. We encourage all students and their families to browse through the appropriate summer reading list according to the student's grade and choose one or more books that interest them and possibly provide a challenge for summer fun and learning. 4. The French School of Seoul (LFS) is an establishment that agreed with the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) and approved for all levels from kindergarten to high school. Founded in 1974 in Itaewon-dong, the LFS has been settled since 1981 in the Seorae-maeul district, of which it is a recognized institution today. This integration in the heart of a multicultural district of Seoul has been consolidated following the decision taken in 2016 by the Parents’ Association (APE) to maintain the establishment on the current site and to carry out extension work. So this is a new chapter of the history of the LFS that begins to be written today, of which we are all actors. Construction work began in April 2017 will continue throughout the school year. They will enable the school to welcome students, staff, and families in new spaces more numerous, more spacious, adapted, and suitable for the educational missions of our establishment in September 2018. We will also develop a culture of safety and security in the establishment. At the same time, we will focus on maintaining and reinforcing a good-quality pedagogical and educational provision, assured by trained and committed staff, concerned with accompanying students for a successful school career. To speak of the excellence of an institution and the success of students is, of course, to speak of the excellence of their exam results, but also their mastery of several languages, of the construction of their training projects in higher education, of their engagement in civil actions, or, daily, of their progress and the efforts established by all. In the continuity of the actions carried out for several years, we must prepare, promote and accompany the future evolutions of the French School of Seoul, ready to school new French, Korean, and Francophone students. In that respect, the project of establishment in progress will define the policy and the action plan of the LFS for the coming years, reaffirming the status of French schools open to its host country and the world. You can count on the sense of responsibility and the total commitment of all the staff of the establishment, on our willingness to work for the sake of all, with the students and their parents, in synergy with the Bureau of Parents’ Association, the services of the French Embassy and the AEFE, partner associations and institutions. The French School of Seoul welcomes French children firstly to accompany expatriate families. This support also makes it possible to extend the public service outside French territory. Depending on the places available, the French high school also aims to educate the children of the host country as well as children from third countries who wish to benefit from French educational know-how. French students (72% in 2015): Native French-speaking Students from the French education system (public, private establishment under contract and of French high school network abroad) are automatically admitted to the extent that the administrative and financial conditions are fulfilled and within the limit of places available. Students from a private non-contracted institution may be tested for entry. Korean students (12% in 2015): Korean students who fulfill the conditions defined by the local regulations (presidential decree of 28/02/2009) can be enrolled in the LFS. Students who have stayed for at least 3 years abroad or who hold a third nationality and one of whose parents is not Korean may be admitted under such conditions to the LFS. If the student comes from the French education system or the French high school network abroad, admission will be possible, subject to the availability of places without an entrance test. Students of other nationalities (16% in 2015, some twenty different nationalities): Depending on the availability of place, students from the French education system or the network of French schools abroad will be admitted without an entrance test. Other Francophone students may be admitted on an entrance test. The second grade is a class of determination which makes it possible to prepare the choice of a series in the first grade. The class of second grade includes courses that are common to all students, representing 80% of the student’s overall schedule, and two courses of exploration, including one in economics, to which optional teaching can be added. In the first and final grades, in all series, the education programs make it possible gradually to acquire knowledge and skills enabling high school students to pass the baccalaureate exam and preparing the pursuit of higher education. The service of School Life is composed of the Senior Education Advisor, Mr. DELABROSSE, and five full-time or part-time supervisors. School life takes care of students outside class time. Its main mission is to ensure that each student follows his schooling in the best conditions, with respect for people, property, and rules of life in the community. The Office of School Life is a place to welcome and listen to students at any time of the day: school or personal problems, research information on the daily organization of the middle school and the high school. The Senior Education Advisor ensures the individual follow-up of students: an interview with students and families about their behavior in the middle school and the high school, listening role in close collaboration with the school nurse and the principal teachers. He regularly informs families of any problems regarding the schooling of their children. It also provides collective student monitoring, for example, by supervising the management of student flows during class time or in the organization of student delegate meetings. Supervisors oversee students mainly during studying hours, during breaks, and at intercourses. They have an educational role for students: respect for the rules of procedure, advice in the organization, help with homework. They are attentive to the various problems that students may encounter. They also manage absences and delays. We advise you to consult regularly your children’s correspondence book and promote using the login credentials that are communicated to families at the beginning of the school year. You’ll find student schedules, grades, homework, absences, and delays as well as regularly updated information. View full school
      5. As a small private, co-educational international Education Institution our goal is to recruit intellectually curious, mature, and enthusiastic students who want to participate in all aspects of SPPS’s academic and extracurricular programs. We strive to enroll students from all backgrounds whose talents, skills, and interests will enrich the SPPS community. To become a student of SPPS is to be intellectually passionate and curious to be attentive to the needs of others to be physically active and in touch with the community to be artistically creative and conscious of the power of intuition and imagination and, finally, to be aware of appreciation of education and human experience. To accommodate these challenges, every effort is made to create an atmosphere for students and staff that is conducive to learning and growing through the framework of a warm family environment. St. Paul Preparatory Seoul students are presented with a wide variety of experiences through college preparatory studies and student activities. These will allow students to explore the extent of their interests and abilities, to know themselves, and to develop an appreciation and respect for other people on a global scale. By the time SPPS students are ready to graduate they will have developed the academic strength, the character, and the self-confidence to meet life’s future challenges in an ever-changing world. Students are admitted to SPPS without regard to gender, religion, or ethnic background. SPPS does reserve the right to refuse admission based on previous academic performance, disciplinary record, and/or significant periods of absence from Preparatory for reasons other than long-term illness.SPPS is unable to provide services to students with special needs. All completed application documents must be submitted in person or by mail to the admissions office before or on the day of the Admission Test and Interview for efficient processing. After formal acceptance, all tuition and fees must be paid by the designated due date to reserve a space for your child. Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in forfeiting an applicant’s space. All new students are required to meet with the guidance counselor for course selection and submit final, official transcripts before they may begin at SPPS. By providing a supportive community and close personal attention to its students, SPPS develops confident, active learners and respectful citizens who lead transformative lives. Our Five Core Values are embedded in the SPPS curriculum Integrity, Maturity, Independency, Communication, and Transformation are modeled by all faculty, staff, and students and are implemented throughout all grade levels. SPPS stands on a mission of independent learning. By providing a rigorous curriculum in a caring atmosphere touting a small teacher-to-student ratio, students grow up to be independent thinkers. It is our foremost goal to prepare students in every aspect so that they can develop the confidence necessary for success in their next stage of learning. SPPS teachers are experts with hearts. Teachers are passionate about getting to know every student. These strong bonds add to vibrant community life and lead to exceptional learning in our classrooms and beyond. All students, regardless of their interests or future pursuits, are learning to develop their written and oral communication abilities for future success as scholars. SPPS incorporates various teaching methods to further hone these communication skills so that students can think critically and express themselves logically as mature learners. 16.

Founded in 1961 by the Presbyterian Church of Korea, Seoul Women's University is celebrating its 52nd anniversary. Upon the firm foundation of Bahrom Character Education, the only residential character education program in Korea that began with the birth of SWU, we have been equipping our students with our unique education. As a result, after half a century, SWU is establishing a prestigious women's college. Such efforts were recognized in 2012. We won several titles and grants from the Ministry of Education, such as the Best Teaching University, University Education Capacity Enhancement Project, and Leading University for Admissions Officer System.
