  1. As a small private, co-educational international Education Institution our goal is to recruit intellectually curious, mature, and enthusiastic students who want to participate in all aspects of SPPS’s academic and extracurricular programs. We strive to enroll students from all backgrounds whose talents, skills, and interests will enrich the SPPS community. To become a student of SPPS is to be intellectually passionate and curious to be attentive to the needs of others to be physically active and in touch with the community to be artistically creative and conscious of the power of intuition and imagination and, finally, to be aware of appreciation of education and human experience. To accommodate these challenges, every effort is made to create an atmosphere for students and staff that is conducive to learning and growing through the framework of a warm family environment. St. Paul Preparatory Seoul students are presented with a wide variety of experiences through college preparatory studies and student activities. These will allow students to explore the extent of their interests and abilities, to know themselves, and to develop an appreciation and respect for other people on a global scale. By the time SPPS students are ready to graduate they will have developed the academic strength, the character, and the self-confidence to meet life’s future challenges in an ever-changing world. Students are admitted to SPPS without regard to gender, religion, or ethnic background. SPPS does reserve the right to refuse admission based on previous academic performance, disciplinary record, and/or significant periods of absence from Preparatory for reasons other than long-term illness.SPPS is unable to provide services to students with special needs. All completed application documents must be submitted in person or by mail to the admissions office before or on the day of the Admission Test and Interview for efficient processing. After formal acceptance, all tuition and fees must be paid by the designated due date to reserve a space for your child. Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in forfeiting an applicant’s space. All new students are required to meet with the guidance counselor for course selection and submit final, official transcripts before they may begin at SPPS. By providing a supportive community and close personal attention to its students, SPPS develops confident, active learners and respectful citizens who lead transformative lives. Our Five Core Values are embedded in the SPPS curriculum Integrity, Maturity, Independency, Communication, and Transformation are modeled by all faculty, staff, and students and are implemented throughout all grade levels. SPPS stands on a mission of independent learning. By providing a rigorous curriculum in a caring atmosphere touting a small teacher-to-student ratio, students grow up to be independent thinkers. It is our foremost goal to prepare students in every aspect so that they can develop the confidence necessary for success in their next stage of learning. SPPS teachers are experts with hearts. Teachers are passionate about getting to know every student. These strong bonds add to vibrant community life and lead to exceptional learning in our classrooms and beyond. All students, regardless of their interests or future pursuits, are learning to develop their written and oral communication abilities for future success as scholars. SPPS incorporates various teaching methods to further hone these communication skills so that students can think critically and express themselves logically as mature learners.
