- In the modern, increasingly independent, and complex world, international education is an absolute necessity-a balanced education, addressing not only the mind but also the heart. It is vital to begin such an international experience from early childhood. At Edugates International School, we understand the importance of such a learning experience. We believe that, while each child is unique, there are qualities that each will need to join the global society: respect for self as well as others, open-mindedness and tolerance, and the ability to take responsibility for one's actions. We strive to provide such qualities by offering a truly international education, helping each child attain a multi-cultural perspective while appreciating his or her unique cultural background. Constantly striving for academic excellence, we encourage all students to become life-long learners by helping them develop necessary attitudes and skills, ensuring their success in the global international community of tomorrow. Edugates International School is committed to a culture of excellence in education imbued with a strong Islamic foundation that prepares all students to achieve their full potential to advance to higher education thereby becoming globally competitive. Our Mission is: To provide a quality education that nurtures growth and development is a primary goal. To provide students and staff with an environment of holistic growth within a transformed community, responsive to the call of the times, and actively contributing towards the improvement of Islamic communities based on Islamic principles. To ensure that each student is empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges in an increasingly complex and competitive world. To make learning more comprehensive by utilizing the latest Information Technology (IT). To focus all staff on the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of students. To provide comprehensive school activities that enable the growth and development of students outside of the classroom environment. Edugates believes that: All students are unique and can learn their full potential, develop a positive self-concept, and generate enthusiasm for learning. Students nurtured in a warm, supportive, and structured environment develop responsibility for their behavior, learning, and concern for others. Educators, parents and students must work together cooperatively to promote productive learning. A commitment to creativity and excellence is essential for all content areas and programs. Edugates International School agrees to: Provide a balanced curriculum that aims to meet the individual needs of each student. Encourage every student to achieve his/her potential as a valued member of the school community. Listen to any concerns and problems with respect and understanding. Set homework by the program, mark work regularly and check and sign the daily agenda every day. Keep parents informed via meetings and written communication of their child’s academic and social development. Inform parents wherever possible of any problems that might affect their child’s work behavior at school. Encourage students and parents to become fully involved in the life and development of the school. The Kindergarten Department at Edugates prides on the diversity of its students and staff. We have students and teachers coming from all over the world. We aim to provide a pleasant, welcoming, and safe environment. The students in the department range from the ages of 3 to 5 years olds. They are encouraged to develop social skills and self-confidence. Our students are encouraged to explore their potential both academically and personally. Our staff members are qualified in child care and provide an excellent range of learning experiences.

- The school follows the Common Core Standards (CCS) used in the United States for English, Math, and Next Generation State Standards for Science. Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them. The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people need for success in college and careers. With the standards our students will be fully prepared for the future, our communities will be best positioned to compete successfully in the global economy. Building on the excellent foundation of standards states have laid, the Common Core State Standards are the first step in providing our young people with a high-quality education. It should be clear to every student, parent, and teacher what the standards of success are in every school. The Common Core State Standards focus on core conceptual understandings and procedures starting in the early grades, thus enabling teachers to take the time needed to teach core concepts and procedures well—and to allow students to master them. With students, parents, and teachers all on the same page and working together for shared goals, we can ensure that students make progress each year and graduate from school prepared to succeed in college and a modern workforce. Using the common core curriculum evens the educational field for all students in and outside the country. This cohesive curriculum would also ensure that our students are taught all necessary skills to get into universities and colleges of their choice inside and outside of the Kingdom, Europe, American, Middle East, Asia, and other countries where American diplomas are accepted. 18 were selected for the KFF/IB Project (Developing learners, leaders, and teachers for the future of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and with pleasure, Rand Schools Group was one of them. By this spirited step, we will be connected locally and internationally with the family of IB world schools. Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programs of international education (PYP, MYP, DP, CP) that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Teaching and learning in the IB celebrate the many ways people work together to construct meaning and make sense of the world. Through the interplay of asking, doing, and thinking, this constructivist approach leads towards open, democratic classrooms. An IB education empowers young people for a lifetime of learning, independently and in collaboration with others. It prepares a community of learners to engage with global challenges through inquiry, action, and reflection. PYP will ensure that the school, students, and parents move together in a rewarding and rich learning journey that will allow all learners to express and discover themselves within the IB Learner Profile. Provide a caring, safe, and warm learning environment with rich curricular and co-curricular programs that stimulate curiosity, freedom of expression, intercultural understanding, and life-long learning. RIS is dedicated to creating a supportive learning community for open-mindedness and life-long learning. “We are Life-Long Learners.” A commitment to improving the teaching and learning in the school community by delivering a rich, high-quality program of international education that shares a powerful vision and develops the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills needed to live, learn and work in rapidly globalizing world. We encourage curiosity and learn through inquiry in a stimulating environment. We engage our community of learners in realizing their potentials and growing their knowledge and skills. We understand and appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, and are open to the perspectives, values, and traditions of other individuals and communities. We support intercultural understanding and respect the different views of others. Rand school is divided into three sections: Rand international KG, Rand International Primary, and Rand Alhalyia Primary. This categorization is based on language-focused and grade level. The school is licensed by the Ministry of Education. Rand school was initially founded as Rand International in 2006 in the city of Qatif. In its first two years, the school had functioned as simply kindergarten in a small building. It started with 75 kids and jumped quickly to nearly 140 kids in the second year with reaching its maximum capacity. Rand Ahalyia section was added in 2011 to offer a more Arabic-focused curriculum that was required by a very important segment of the population. The growing demand for English focused primary curriculum offered the incentive to the owner to seize an opportunity of renting a huge building in the city of Saihat formerly a commercial shopping center that is approximately 5 miles away from the first school building. The mall was abandoned for several years due to its financial bankruptcy. A great effort and large investment were required to transform the place into a school complex. Constructions, renovations, and maintenance have continued throughout the years to reshape the current school building. Today, the total number of Rand Schools is approximately 1800 students, of which about 520 students are in kindergarten and 800 are in English-focused curriculum and 520 are in Arabic-focused curriculum. Rand schools have developed rapidly over the years in terms of educational quality and learning environment as started to attract a very large number of parents from both surrounding both Qatif and Dammam districts. In the initial two years, the English-focused curriculum functioned as a mixed-gender school and was dominated by non-Saudis since there was a restriction on Saudis to get into International primary school. In contrast, Kindergarten has been dominated from the start by Saudis since there was flexibility for Saudis to get enrolled without government restrictions. In 2012, our international primary school has become predominantly Saudis as we have obtained the official permit from the Ministry of Education to accept direct Saudi enrollment with meeting the requirements. This development has resulted in large Saudi enrollments especially in Grade One. The abolishment of grade four to grade seven for boys led to the loss of a large number of students, but this was being compensated by a greater number with the inflow of Saudis. Saudis in Grades have been transformed over the years from a small minority into the vast majority. The rise of Rand schools over a short period within the region has not come from a vacuum. We were aware from the start that upgrading the learning environment and promoting self-learning are not easy tasks but they can not be achieved without effective utilization of resources, continuous improvement, and leadership commitment. Almost all our current leadership has risen from within the school staff based on their traits, cognitive skills, and commitment to professionalism. The school policy has always given the priority to distinguished school teachers and staff to move up to the management level which reflected the space for upward mobility. Our endeavors have paid back by having an academic accreditation for quality in education from the AdvancED and being currently an IB candidate school (International Baccalaureate ). Both advanced and IB have been supporting our school to improve in all aspects concerning leadership capacity, resources capacity, collaborative culture, integrated curriculum, intercultural understanding, and life-long learning. The learning journey is endless and every year Rand School is exerting greater efforts to continuous improvement. We are reaching the moment where we are heading toward constructing a new school complex that includes all levels from K to 12 for boys and girls. View full school

- Ever since it knew its dawn in 1988, ZSIS has been improving the performance of its students and insuring overwhelming success in the teaching-learning process in various ways that match the needs of the parents, staff, students, and whoever else is involved in the ZSIS learning environment. ZSIS has made painstaking efforts to involve all its stakeholders in the establishment, understanding of, and commitment to the mission statement it firmly holds. ZSIS is a true haven for a wide array of nationalities. Diversity as such has left its imprints on the educational and cultural performance of all the ZSIS community. To ZSIS, education is an ongoing follow-up on students’ academic and behavioral performance inside and outside the school campus. It is the collaborative spirit of “sink or swim together.” It is how students become able to relate themselves to their school and the global community around them. Education, ZSIS believes, is independence, collaboration, leadership, and success. These are the seeds ZSIS is keen to plant and nurture in the midst of its students being. ZSIS aspires for a change. It has recruited the creativity and dedication of its stakeholders as its soldiers. And it did rock the future. Academic Program ZSIS students have unlimited access to the content of the core subjects English, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Arts, and Foreign Languages. Students are immersed in an internationally standardized and benchmarked American curriculum that targets students’ connections to the world around them. It all starts at the primary stages whereby students are actively involved in experiential learning, with the negation of any traditional theoretical introductions. Primary students role-play, experience, and explore the world outside with the professional guidance of quality teaching educators. ZSIS primary students are encouraged to approach the world analytically, relate themselves to it comprehensively, and understand the school’s subject matter thoroughly. Middle school students have their specialty for being actively involved in approaching academic and global issues analytically. At this stage, middle school students have their skills not just added to but also reinforced and mastered. ZSIS high school students develop those analytical skills too and go beyond the levels of reinforcement and mastery to those of synthesis and evaluation of any subject-related data at any time and place. Hence, ZSIS high school graduates are up to the world’s upcoming challenges and incessant need for creativity. Beyond the Classroom, ZSIS is firm of the conviction that “school is outside too.” ZSIS is so “heated” as regards reinforcing extra-curricular activities so its students’ intellectual growth oscillates between the standardized knowledge inside and the “rough” experience outside. This, in reality, is ZSIS quality teachers’ motto. Those qualified education facilitators – eighty percent of whom have earned a bachelor's degree or higher from reputable universities around the world – are the throbbing heart of the whole educational process--the wheel of life for the ZSIS community. Those quality teachers, with the guidance of truly professional coordinators and administrators, not only provide context, content, and coherence to the learning environment, but they also serve as role models who shape students’ lives and bestow on them tinges of civilization, knowledge, and universality. Our Kindergarten program is designed for children between the ages of 3 and 6. Through their first years of school children from the essential basics for a strong foundation that helps them attain their full potential. We, at ZSIS, focus principally on development, by giving full and proper attention to the different aspects of development. The upper-elementary School teachers work together to provide a stimulating and positive environment in which children learn, grow, and appreciate cultural diversities. We believe in an inquiry-based approach to the process of learning that emphasizes creative and critical thinking. We recognize and address the broad range of developmental needs of children aged 6 to 10 years. We support these needs by assisting students in the transition from the homelike atmosphere of Early Childhood learning to a proper schooling system, encouraging positive social interaction with peers, and providing opportunities for students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for life-long learning and successful social interactions. We value the importance of maintaining close communications with families to promote the development of scholarly qualities. The Middle School curriculum is based on American educational aims. Our materials and curriculum reflect those used in accredited international schools and independent schools in the U.S. Most of our students intend to continue through the American educational system. We expose students to a broad background in mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, and foreign languages while also developing thinking and problem-solving skills. Student interaction and self-expression are encouraged. We supplement the core curriculum by including instruction in computer science, art, and physical education. While we usually select American textbooks, we also take advantage of other enrichment materials published in the United Kingdom, Lebanon, and Jordan. While our major emphasis is on the American system of education, we take into consideration the needs of our international students. We can provide a program that will help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to enter an alternative educational system (i.e. the International Baccalaureate). The High School Curriculum provides a rigorous academic program for students in Grades 9-12. The curriculum is based upon the principles and practices of American education, TOEFL, and the SAT requirements. View full school

Indulging in casting votes provides them with an opportunity to show their choice. “A good education is a foundation for life”. At TIS it means an exciting and challenging curriculum, a broad range of sporting, artistic and cultural opportunities, and an environment that is specifically created to instigate the values of independent leadership, responsibility towards others, and the enjoyment of challenge. - Welcome to Thamer International Schools better known as “A Community of Leaders and Learners”. We, at TIS, prepare our students for their potential encounters of today and tomorrow by engaging them in critical thinking and provoking challenges and authentic learning experiences. Taking into consideration the diverse cultural backgrounds of these students, we treasure every student’s unique individuality and strive to make TIS an ideal community for our young learners of today and future leaders of the world. To boost their confidence and prepare them for a perfect future students are encouraged to participate and get elected in the TIS Student Council. This promotes leadership qualities and students are given abundant opportunities to be decisive. - The City School was established in 1978 and the years of experience show – in our expertise, in our commitment, and our quality. We have moved with the times, but we have not lost sight of our values and traditions. At The City School, we genuinely believe in educating ‘the whole child so we provide our students with every opportunity to discover and build upon their strengths. We also expect them to face up to the challenges of an economically globalized and socially changing world – one in which they will have to take their place as independent, responsible citizens. Our commitment to providing consistently high-quality, accessible education underpins everything we do. We support and encourage high academic achievement, but we also recognize that individual students have different learning needs. We guide our students through Early Years Education to the Cambridge International Examinations. Our preparation supports them throughout their lives, as students of the City School have the knowledge, understanding, skills, and values necessary to prosper both in their future careers and in life. Along with academic rigor, our campuses broaden horizons with an enrichment program that engenders social awareness, responsibility, innovation, and creativity in equal measure. The City School International now has schools in the UAE, the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Its plans include the establishment of further schools in the Arab states, South East Asia, and Africa. We aim to create a better world by educating and developing happy, inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. Our commitment to educational excellence includes, but extends beyond, outstanding academic preparation. Our motivation lies in helping our students acquire the skills and social awareness to enable them to become independent and valued members of society. The true philosophy of The City School is reflected in our motto, “I Am To Learn”. When our students move on to higher education, we expect them to have gained an enthusiastic and lasting interest in learning, and to have recognized that there are always new things to discover. The world of work and life in general are today more competitive than they have ever been and we want our students to have the confidence, independence, and intellectual ability to apply what they learn in the classrooms to life. We believe that when young people are empowered and facilitated, they rise above expectations. The broader aspirations shared by our faculty and staff include giving every opportunity to students to develop into well-rounded individuals. We know how important it is to create ideal academic and social environments that allow them to flourish and to acquire the skills and attributes that will enable them to make valued contributions to society. The progress and achievements we see in the classrooms are only part of the experience at The City School International. We believe in providing consistent support in all aspects of school life – academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular – to encourage a genuine love for learning. We are dedicated to helping our students achieve the abilities and personal qualities that will prepare them for a rewarding and productive life. Developing confidence and creativity, independent thought and consideration for others, an enquiring mind, and a social conscience are all integral to our learning process. We want to give our students every opportunity to fulfill their potential and excel in everything they do. We offer the British curriculum, affiliated to the University of Cambridge and which is accepted worldwide. We prepare our students to appear for their O Levels, IGCSE examinations conducted by CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) centers all over the world. The focus of The Foundation Stage is on welcoming the child into the schooling environment, making the journey exciting and fun, opening new vistas of knowledge, and making him/her want more. Giving the child confidence to try out new things, initiate ideas, and put them into practice. Special emphasis on reading with phonics to help the children understand, comprehend, and speak the language with ease and fluency. Practical hands-on activities help the child practically cope with the daily activities. Subjects taught include the Quran, English, Maths, General Knowledge/Science, Rhymes, Reading, Practical work (PG, Nursery, KG), Art, ICT, Islamic Studies, Easy Arabic (Class 1 and 2 for non-Arabs only), Physical Education and Second Language Urdu/Advanced Arabic. Children are assessed on a daily, ongoing basis and informal assessments are held twice a year at the end of each term. The curriculum follows the key principles of the Early Learning Foundation Stage. The program for children aged 3 to 5 is called the Foundation Stage. It is designed to prepare children to begin the National Curriculum for England, which begins around the age of five in Key Stage 1 and continues through to Key Stage 4. A child’s progress is closely monitored and assessed against appropriate age performance standards. Every encouragement and help is provided for children to attain their full potential. Ongoing assessments, formal and informal, and examinations at the end of each term ensure that each child’s progress and development is continuous and the predetermined standards are met. At this stage, students are encouraged to think independently and be able to speak confidently in front of an audience. We motivate our students to put on their thinking caps and be able to express their ideas and views on paper in a clear concise manner with proper sentence structure and punctuation. - In our increasingly competitive world, a high-quality education gives students a wider choice and better chances in college and university, as well as the skills and tools needed to succeed throughout their lives. Through the SABIS® system of education, students at AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah will learn with an efficiency of time and effort. AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah students will be helped to achieve their full potential. Practically any student can achieve this aim—not only brilliant students. Abdulaziz International Schools – Al-Sulaimaniah (AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah) first opened its doors in 1999. Today, the school has an enrollment of 3,640 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah is a member of the global SABIS® Network, established in 1886 with the opening of its first school. For over 131 years, schools in the SABIS® Network have been preparing students with the knowledge and skills required to help them achieve success in a changing world. Today, the SABIS® Network has an active presence in 20 countries on five continents and educates over 70,000 students. AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah will be recognized as a provider of top-quality education to a highly diverse student body. It will prepare all students for success in college, equip them with the ability and desire for lifelong learning, and strengthen their civil, ethical, and moral values. The school will maintain high standards of efficiency and accountability throughout its operation. Abdulaziz International Schools – Al-Sulaimaniah (AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah) is located in Sulaimaniah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The purpose-built campus is divided into four sections: the Girls, Boys, Primary, and KG sections. The school encompasses several facilities including science and computer laboratories, sports facilities, and art rooms. A unique IT feature at the school is the computerized learning and testing center. The school has four libraries, five computer labs, eight science labs, five SABIS Integrated Testing and Learning® (ITL®) exam halls, and indoor & outdoor courts. It also has three cafeterias. At AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah, we consider the school as a dynamic production team. Administrators, teachers, and students are all contributors to this team. Knowledge and ideas are the product of collaborative efforts. Since students are the ones who benefit most directly from the product, they should be most concerned that the product is of high quality. Everyone in a SABIS® Network school has a job to do everyone is accountable. Administrators, students, and staff "self-audit" to discover and correct errors. It is teamwork that allows every team member to reach heights that would be more difficult to reach individually. The curriculum implemented at AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah is specifically designed by SABIS® to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop a solid academic foundation. This foundation will help students achieve their full potential and develop a love of lifelong learning. All courses at AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah are structured. A system of academic tracking— the SABIS® AMS, a computerized method of detecting gaps in knowledge— allows the administration to closely follow the progress of each individual. Gaps are pinpointed as soon as they form, and students' efforts are focused on eliminating them. Valuable time is saved and a gap-free, cohesive structure of knowledge is built in students' minds. All courses for students at all levels are structured to enable students and teachers to know precisely what should be learned. Teachers teach one concept at a time using the SABIS Point System® with each lesson alternating frequently between oral work, individual work, and group work in such a way that it is difficult for students to “switch off.” Students engage in regular assessment using exams that teachers do not see in advance. Everyone in the school is accountable. Accordingly, students learn more in class and have more time for relaxation and fun after school. Students who fall behind in their work are advised, motivated, helped, and coached until they catch up. As long as they manage their own time successfully, students' time is theirs, otherwise, help is given. Emphasizing a well-balanced body of knowledge, skills, and experiences, the curriculum at AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah specifies daily learning goals at all grade levels. In an atmosphere that fosters the development of a lifelong love of learning, students are shown how to study and given the support, they need to develop a solid academic foundation. Starting in Grade 3, courses at AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah specify a minimum number of "units of information" that students need to learn. This minimum includes the simple concepts tested by the SABIS® AMS, as well as Basic Questions which test the material that "everyone should know." In addition to this, AIS-Al Sulaimaniah courses from Grade 3 onwards include extended material for more able students. The comprehensive SABIS® curriculum allows AIS–Al-Sulaimaniah students to achieve more with less effort. Each year, graduates from SABIS® Network schools around the world gain entry to highly competitive universities in the U.K., U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and the Middle and the Far East. SABIS® Network schools pride themselves on the performance of their students at the most prestigious universities in the world including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and Stanford to name a few.

- Located at Darsait, Muscat City, in the dynamic, progressive, and forward-looking land of Sultanate of Oman, Indian School Darsait, a dream come true for many enterprising expatriate men and women with a vision of the future, came into existence in 1992. The dual advantage of maintaining the cultural identity and the ability to orient to face the admission process to the professional courses has made it an instantly sought-after educational center. ISD started as part of Indian School Muscat, blossomed as an independent entity in 1995, and moved into the present premises in 1998. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), India and offers English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Psychology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Multimedia, and Web Technology and Marketing to the Higher Secondary Students. To enhance the quality of education and to improve the infrastructure facilities, the School Management Committees have selflessly dedicated their sincere service to this institution in various capacities. It is due to their foresight and strategy that Indian School Darsait, today, stands second to none in the Sultanate of Oman. The hard work and dedication of the teachers, parents, administrative and support staff over the past twenty years are equally praiseworthy. Indian School Darsait has been imparting quality education for the last 25 years in Muscat and the prestigious alma mater celebrated her silver jubilee in 2017. It is a CBSE-affiliated school with NABET accreditation, which is the synonym of quality education and value education. ISD is a well know Indian community school in Oman and is enriched with active parent support in all walks of the school. To move along with the modern concept as well as the CBSE curriculum, ISD has already in the digital campus world. ICT is well equipped with modern E-Administration and learning systems. The school connects parents, students, and staff with E-connections. An environmentally friendly school with great initiatives of HSE. ISD strongly believes that quality of education is possible only when the teachers are connected to the changes that are happening in the education sphere. Training the faculties is one of the KPIs of the school and giving more focused training to the teachers with a scheduled plan. Train The Trainer – TTT, which is the concept adopted by the school, shows commitment towards this important characteristic. The school has started promoting in-house talents for training with great ownership. ISD believes, academics is the prime activity of the school, at the same time, needs to bring the talents of the students to make them more competent as well as confident in the fast-growing world. “Catch them Young” a strategic plan has been already introduced in Silver Jubilee year with a vision to inculcate the sports culture among the students. A six-year long-term plan has already been in place and all stakeholders are in the right direction to achieve this. ISD has been suffering from a lack of facilities like state of art music & dance rooms, track and field amenities, School Band, qualitative administrative offices, etc. ISD, even with all her limitations, has been marching forward towards the vision and mission for better deliverables to the community and bringing educated, cultured good human beings for the future. Each Child is like a flourishing sapling that requires care and nourishment to blossom. It will be our constant endeavor to provide ample intellectual stimulation to ignite the young minds to think and help them to flower into responsible citizens of tomorrow. Just like every plant requires pruning to give it a decisive shape, young minds need to be tethered so that they don’t go astray. It will be our constant effort to imbibe within our children the values and ethics that they will carry forever. Individually and collectively let’s work to serve the cause of education, for the betterment of the coming generation so that they live in a world where “knowledge is free and the head is held high where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls”. Let our boys and girls grow as world-class citizens – a generation of eminent thinkers and wise planners contributing to better world order. What exactly is our wish and that exactly is our dream. - A large number of Indians who were working in Salalah had been compelled to leave their families behind because there was no means of providing education to their children here. It was a long-cherished dream for the Indian expatriate community of Salalah to establish a community school in this city. Prominent members of the Indian Community took up the initiative and the dream became a reality when Indian School Salalah opened on 11th July 1981. Many families were re-united and children got the opportunity to grow under the guidance, love, and care of both their parents. Thus, besides providing education, the school fulfilled a deeply felt social and emotional need. Initially, it started functioning under the auspices of the Indian Club in their premises near the Al Hasn Palace. In the first year 1981-82, there were just 74 students and classes from LKG to IV. Later the school was shifted to a rented building in New Salalah for a short period till a part of the present building was constructed. At present, the school has around 4400 students on its rolls. It has classes from LKG to XII and these classes run into several sections the total of which is 112. There are 168 teachers, 19 non-teaching staff, and 28 Omani staff members serving the institution. The school management, administration, teaching, and non-teaching will continue striving hard with utmost sincerity and dedication to take the school to further heights. "Education" word conjures up different things in the minds of different people for it depends usually on what they have entitled that for life. Education is that fine line beyond which the horizon stretches holding all the potential of growth. To learn, to be guided, and to be open to each experience and extract the best and leave out the rest and strike on – that is the essence we seek to infuse in the students of our school. The overall development of the body-mind and souls is the mission. The approach is child-centric because we believe that every child has his/her individuality. The culture of the school and vision of the school and the teacher's way of life will imbibe the development of the five minds among the students. The curriculum will not be textbook-driven or fragmented but will be thematic, project-based, and integrated, skills and context shall not be taught as an end in themselves, but students shall learn them through their research and application in their projects. Textbooks shall be just one of the many resources. Students will be motivated to achieve higher levels of learning in all content areas from science to maths, environment to culture, and nutrition. The school and the community shall have a unidirectional approach in making the school in which the students – all of them are so excited about the school that they can hardly wait to get there. Imagine having little or no "discipline problem" because the students are so engaged in their studies that those problems disappear. Imagine having parents calling, sending notes, and coming up to the school to tell you about the dramatic changes they are witnessing in their children's newfound enthusiasm and excitement for school, a desire to work. Imagine your children making exponential growth in their basic skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening, researching, scientific exploration, maths, multimedia skills, and more. This is possible. It can happen it is happening in schools. It only requires the school and community to come together. View full school

- As Seeb International School (ASIS) is unique in its delivery of the Teaching Future Leaders Leadership program, nowhere else in Oman or even in the GCC is Leadership such an integral part of school life. As part of our unique vision here in Oman, we are keen to ensure that children leave ASIS with a strong sense of their mission and with an ambition for the future. When they are ready for the outside world, we want our students to leave with a desire to serve and to become the next generation of leaders in business, education, civil service, or whatever career path they choose. The ASIS Leadership program aims to develop the academic and personal character skills needed to be successful in life so that all students can make the most of their abilities and interests to fulfill their true potential. The program develops the student throughout their time at ASIS from pre-KG when working together starts as a skill through to the qualification at Level 3 in Team Leadership taken during Grade 10 and 11. An international qualification issued by the UK Royal Chartered Institute of Management as an acknowledgment of outstanding leadership both in and out of school. Certificates are gained through each school year building a portfolio of teamwork and leadership along with personal qualities and skills. The ASIS motto is ‘Serve to Lead’ as this gives us a basis on which to build, when a student leaves ASIS we want them to have attained the ‘Serve to Lead’ principles This program is in every aspect of our school delivered by teachers and senior staff alike. It is managed by the school's Leadership Director and starts early in school life working on teamwork and Line Leaders in KG who assist other students and their teachers through to our House Captains and Deputies. These Captains are senior students who take on responsibility for one of four school houses and who are selected in a vote by their peers. Leadership and team opportunities are offered to all students through their time here. Our social responsibility centers both nationally and internationally with all students participating in social events and within their community. On the international stage, our senior students will be expected to undertake work in helping other such as the United Nations community work through to debating with other students on a global platform. We don’t see failure as a block to attainment we see it as a stepping stone to achievement, when a student can overcome failure, seek help, try again, and return triumphant then he or she will have learned the ‘Serve to Lead’ qualities and true self Leadership. The school has elected to enroll students on the Cambridge Examination Board Syllabi and this will ensure our students have consistent expectations and techniques that they will be able to utilize from one subject to the next. These qualifications are highly sought after all over the world and are a pre-cursor for students to enter Grade 11 and 12 in their pre-university years. It will also guarantee that they are confident, responsible, and competent learners who will be able to access any further study pathway with success. The focus this year will be on the further development of our curriculum to ensure there is rigor in our assessments leading to accurate tracking of our students’ progress. We also want to ensure there is the consistent development of the whole child and there is an emphasis on the skills they need to help them learn new ideas and concepts. We need our children to be problem solvers, critical thinkers and not be afraid to take risks. This will empower their learning ability and enthuse them. Our lessons will be challenging but fun. Parents will be made aware of the topics we will be covered via the Grade Group Overviews and the information will also be posted on our portal. We will also be working hard to ensure we provide our students with opportunities to develop their leadership skills. One such way is that the school has now elected prefects from the Grade 12 student body and they will be responsible for establishing a whole school student council. In our school, we place a strong emphasis on providing a challenging experience where everybody is included and everyone is successful, not only with the academic program but with creative opportunities and service to the community in the personal education of every child which will start with the very youngest children.
