The school was established on 11th September 1999 and at that time it accommodated 40 students from Grade 1 to 10. It began with 20 staff members and 3 support employees. The school moved to the new facility at ETE Compound, Golden Gate, Al-Khobar in 2003, with 92 staff members and 800 students from KG to Grade 12. AIS changed to new management in 2010.
