- Our mission statement is, "The Northern Luzon Adventist College exists to nurture students in a Christian way of life and prepare them to become servant-leaders who are: COMPETENT, COMMITTED and consecrated to the service of God and humanity." The school's philosophy is embodied in the following statement: "that through the harmonious development of the physical., mental, and spiritual powers of the students, the lost image of God may be restored. "The philosophy of education finds its way into operational form not only through the subject areas taught but also through various activities of the school. They find their fulfillment in the day-to-day work and learning experiences in the school's various offices and different student organizations. Our Educational Values And Beliefs are: Establishing beliefs and practices in faith and prayer experience to bring about inward transformation and the ultimate restoration in men of the lost image of God. Learning to appreciate what is pure, noble, and beautiful by steadfast conformity to social, moral, and physical laws governing individual conduct. Understanding the fundamental principle of respect, love, and mutual understanding maintains a positive influence in a Christian home. Inculcating a sense of justice and willingness to sacrifice in the pursuit of the task of nation-building. Discharging responsibilities and respective duties with exactness and precision. Valuing the proper use of leisure time in a productive and worthwhile program of activities. Developing proficiency in manual skills for economic independence. Northern Luzon Adventist College highlights and upholds the unique principles, beliefs, and values embodied in the core of Seventh-day Adventist Education as Stipulated by the Department of Education of the General Conference within the context of Filipino values and norms as follows: Faith - Foremost in the hand's education, the head, and the heart is the fundamental knowledge that there is God - all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, and invincible - who directs and guides men's quest for life and survival. Truth: The scriptures contain all truths needed by man to live right with his fellowmen. These truths should be manifested in the words, actions, and deeds of both students and teachers. Love - This is the divine principle that makes, maintains, and sustains ideal relationships the panacea for all evils in life such as hatred, vengeance, jealousy, and defection. Northern Luzon Adventist College (NLAC) is located at Artacho, Sison, Pangasinan, PHILIPPINES, on 11.5 hectares of land adjacent to the McArthur Highway, about 210 km north of Manila and 40 km south of Baguio City. It is centrally located to the Adventist membership in Northern Luzon.
- The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) is a university in Barangay Tamag, in the City of Vigan in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is the first and oldest state university in Northern Luzon, which offers a low tuition fee, tracing its roots to 1906, which is older than the University of the Philippines by two years. It is the only state university in the province aimed at less-fortunate people and one of three state-owned educational institutions of higher learning operating in Ilocos Sur. The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) holds the distinction of being the first state university in Northern Luzon. It was created by enacting the Republic Act 4449 authored by the late Congressman FLORO S. CRISOLOGO and approved on June 19, 1965. The said Act converted the Ilocos Sur School of Arts and Trades in the Municipality of Vigan, Province of Ilocos Sur, into a University. The Open University has been operating in a borderless environment, providing the avenue for professional growth and development despite geographical circumstances, job demands, and time constraints akin to the traditional campus-based education. These obstacles to professional growth and development were practically being minimized if not eliminated. The Open University is striving even more to widen the accessibility to quality education. Its enrollees' geographical distribution has manifested this, now increasingly distributed in the country and even overseas. We shall work for the improvement of our academic standards. We shall do this by initially going back to the basics and change the culture that has made us very comfortable with mediocrity. Middle-level academic administrators have to do their essential functions to see that they are the only ones blamed for poor board performances. The instructors and professors' classroom performance should be evaluated meaningfully, and the best way to do it is for the academic unit administrators to go to the classrooms and observe classes. The faculty's presence within the campus that ensures accessibility when needed by their students has to be thoroughly monitored. The faculty members have to set the examples of excellence in academic pursuits and not in other else. Everyone has to work for all our programs' accreditation and have our lost accreditation status be restored. The greatest challenge in attaining these ambitious goals rests on the Deans. We shall work hard to institutionalize the knowledge production cycle, starting from the classroom until we shall have attained a name in the world of authors and inventors. And so, we shall equip the faculty with the necessary skills and competencies by sending those who are willing to grow professionally to attain advanced education and support all undertakings that will enhance their capabilities. We shall also see to it that there is no room for incompetence, mediocrity, and nepotism. The best framework in which this ambitious plan is attained is, again, putting to order our processes and seeing that meritocracy is the order of business. In resolving disputes, we shall ensure fairness and justice, and that decision shall be based on what is right and lawful tempered with the utmost protection of human dignity.

- While the Board has responsibility for the school's overall vision, direction, and financial management, responsibility for moving vision to comprehensive strategy and the school school'sschool's practical daily functioning is the Principal'sPrincipal's role, supported by the Senior Leadership Team. As a community, we talk about the "closed hand" and "open hand." We hold tightly, essential tenets of the Christian faith, as expressed in the Nicene Creed. There is also diversity in the lived experience of faith today amongst those who profess to be Christian, and these are held less tightly. Our teachers' care and concern toward students and our pastoral care program are grounded in our shared faith, reflecting Christian values. At NBCS, we understand that not all families share this world view for themselves, but they accept and support the school and appreciate the level of care shown to their child. In everyday life at NBCS, the students experience Christian input and are encouraged to consider a personal faith in Jesus Christ. They start each day with their Student Team Leader or Class Teacher, participate in "Big Questions'Questions' classes exploring faith and life, and take service-learning opportunities through our Global Opportunities program, including selected students in Years 10 11 participating in the annual GO Rwanda project trips. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him, all things were made. For us and our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the Holy Spirit's power, he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary and was made man. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again by the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
- NT Christian College is the Senior Years Education provider for NT Christian Schools. It has operated for the last 30 years on the campus of Marrara Christian College, providing high-quality Christian education in a positive and community-focused environment. More recently, NT Christian College has had the opportunity to provide senior years of education to other NT Christian School Campuses. This has led to us opening a Year 10 class on the campus of Palmerston Christian School. NT Christian College aims to provide a first-class Christian education for students across the Northern Territory. Our goal is to assist each student in building their understanding and skills to find the calling and vocation that God has for them. At NT Christian College, we see each student as an individual with a unique set of gifts and abilities. Therefore, we work to individualize each student’s educational pathway within the context of building community and contributing to the world around them, rather than consider them as one more piece in the sausage machine. This has led us to develop a highly flexible structure in the college that allows students to engage in and across multiple educational pathways from academically rigorous and abstract subjects to equally challenging VET pathways that involve significant hands-on learning. At NT Christian College, we are educating students to be salt and light in the 21st Century. This means that we encourage students to be wise stewards and users of technology. We work to make technology an organic part of the learning day and encourage students to develop the right tools for the right job. We also encourage 21st-century skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. This is to develop critical lifelong learners that can step out into the world post-school with confidence and assurance.
- The Biblical narrative of redemption and the coming of God's Kingdom is the story that informs and shapes every aspect of the life of the school. A standard, consistent, and evidence-based approach to teaching and learning is vital to ensuring that all students' learning outcomes are maximized. This pedagogical belief reflects Northern Christian School's overview of the beliefs, principles, and practices that provide just such an approach to teaching and learning. The school's pedagogical approach allows us to live out our vision of being an "encouraging, enriching, and equipping" school. Northern Christian School's students are encouraged to strive in all areas of life. Northern Christian School equips all students with values, attitudes, and skills to learn. Our school aims to enrich the lives of every student, their family, and the wider community. We partner with parents in preparing every child to learn to participate in the twenty-first century responsibly. Northern Christian School has synthesized research-based educational theories and practices into a practical approach responsive to our students' learning needs. Our school uses various processes to support our pedagogical framework, particularly about curriculum planning, design, and delivery. All staff is involved in regular studies through the National Institute of Christian Education, and the Transformation by Design framework is followed. Planning starts the previous year when staff meets to discuss their upcoming class needs, interests, and achievements. Records are kept and exchanged, and the scope and sequence are then reflected upon. Teachers' unit planning template ensures that all curriculum planning and student data align with the Australian Curriculum. Northern Christian School ensures that relevant student data is used to differentiate learning to support all students in achieving these goals. A range of resources is used to gather data to direct all students' learning sequences in the core areas, feeding into all other key learning areas. Both standardized and non-standardized assessment is used to guide teaching and learning. Classroom and subject teachers use and monitor ongoing formative assessment assessments for their classes. All students complete standardized assessment assessments throughout their years at Northern Christian School. This includes NAPLAN and PIPS. All students are involved in ACER's Progressive Achievement Test annually in November. This records and monitors achievement over twelve months in Mathematics, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Spelling. The whole school specialized focuses are derived from this information, which then sees students working at their level. Northern Christian School's pedagogy provides our school community with a clear and united way to continue working together to build our teachers' professional capital and improve our students' learning experiences and outcomes.

Support: We support people through empowerment, providing a safe and caring workplace, and providing personal and professional growth opportunities. Accountability: We are accountable, individually, and collectively, to each other and to NAIT for our actions and for achieving our promises. Like business and industry, NAIT is always evolving. It has been a work in progress since planning for the campus began in 1959. Today, NAIT is still growing and reinventing itself to meet the needs of students and employers. The cost to build the NAIT campus in 1962 was over $14.5 million. That is more than $111 million in 2012 dollars. NAIT’s first-class – 29 communication electrician apprentices – started their training before the school opened, and construction was complete. Demand for training proliferated that NAIT undertook its first significant expansion just one year after opening. In 1964, the Department of Northern Affairs and National Resources gave the president of NAIT’s Student Association our original Ookpik mascot. The ookpik, which means snowy owl in Inuktitut, became a famous symbol of Canada in the 1960s after the federal government adopted a handcrafted ookpik (made an Inuit cooperative in northern Quebec) as a souvenir at international trade fairs. In 2008, NAIT was the first post-secondary institution in Edmonton to become a full Heart-Safe site thanks to its eight Automatic External Defibrillators. Eight months later, one of those defibrillators saved a man’s life. In 2008, NAIT became the only college-level school in the country to have full-time coaching staff. View full university
- The RNCM is a leading international conservatoire located in Manchester's heart, with a reputation for attracting talented students, teachers, conductors, and composers from all over the world. In its fifth decade, the RNCM is relatively young, but its rich history spans back to 1893 when Sir Charles Hallé founded the Royal Manchester College of Music. In 1973, this institution merged with the Northern School of Music, and the RNCM was born. Complementing this role, the RNCM is also a vibrant live music venue that offers unparalleled opportunities for students to regularly perform to public audiences and work alongside professional musicians and visiting artists. Housing four central performance spaces, including a professionally-staffed, fully-equipped Theatre and recently refurbished Concert Hall, the College presents more than 400 concerts each year, ranging from RNCM orchestras ensembles and large-scale opera productions to a host of touring companies and external hires. The 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) rated the RNCM the UK's leading music college for research, and in 2017 the College was ranked Gold in the Higher Education Funding Council for England's first Teaching Excellence Framework. The RNCM has also been awarded two Times Higher Education Awards: Excellence and Innovation in the Arts (2015) and Outstanding International Student Strategy (2016). The RNCM's history dates back to the late 19th century and the establishment of the Royal Manchester College of Music (RMCM). In 1858, Sir Charles Hallé founded the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester, and by the early 1890s, had raised the idea of a music college in the city. Following an appeal for support, a building on Ducie Street was secured, Hallé was appointed Principal, and Queen Victoria conferred the Royal title. The RMCM opened its doors to 80 students in 1893, rising to 117 by the end of the first year. Less than four decades later, in 1920, the Northern School of Music was established (initially as a branch of the Matthay School of Music). For many years the two institutions peacefully coexisted. It was not until 1955 that NSM Principal Hilda Collins, in recognizing the importance of performance in training students, met with RMCM Principal, Frederic Cox, to raise the merging question. Discussions continued until September 1967, when a Joint Committee was formed to combine the two colleges' plans. The RNCM was formed in 1972, moving to its purpose-built home on Oxford Road in 1973, where it continues to deliver world-class musical training.
- Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) was founded in 1985 as the first conservatoire dance school within the public sector. Nadine Senior was the founding Principal, and she established the school to give the young people of Leeds vocational dance training following the success of her earlier teaching work at Harehills Middle School. Since its inception in 1985, NSCD has produced some of the UK’s leading contemporary dance artists, including Akram Khan, Tom Roden, Robert Hylton, Benji Reid, and Fleur Darkin. NSCD moved into its permanent home of a former synagogue in Chapeltown in 1987, and since then, it has grown into one of the UK’s leading dance training institutions. Nadine Senior MBE retired in December 2001 and was succeeded by Gurmit Hukam as Principal in January 2002. In 2012, Janet Smith left her position of Artistic Director of Scottish Dance Theatre to become Principal of NSCD. Well known for her inclusive dance practice and passion for developing young artists, this marked the beginning of an exciting new phase for the school. View full school
