The Journal of the North is concerned with the publication of original, genuine scholarly studies and researches in basic and applied science in Arabic and English. It publishes original papers, review papers, book reviews and translations, abstracts of dissertations, reports of conferences, and academic symposia. The journal seeks to achieve leadership in the publication of refereed scientific papers and rank among the world's most renowned scientific periodicals. The journal's mission is to publish refereed scientific research in the field of basic and applied science according to well-defined international standards. The University of Northern Border is a Saudi university founded by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz on his visit to the northern border in 1428, where he was to begin the establishment of the Faculty of Science area Salehia, and then was annexed Teachers College ( Education and Arts currently ) and several colleges in the provinces of Rafha and Tarif University together to form the northern border. Has been developing many academic disciplines at the university, including scientific, educational, administrative, science, medicine, medical science, and Solly Science Science and Engineering Society. Excellence and leadership in the fields of education and research for developing society up to international standards. Preparing distinguished researchers and scholars and contributing to the development of the knowledge society through the following: Highly qualified faculty members academically and professionally. Qualified technical and administrative personnel. Integrated infrastructure(labs,classrooms,digital and printed libraries) A stimulating research environment that fits researchers' potentials. The Journal of the North aims to: Serve as a scholarly academic reference for researchers in the field of basic and applied science.
