About Me

  1. Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) has two campuses, Seturan Campus and Babarsari Campus. Located in the northern frontier of Yogyakarta City, both campuses have quite a nice view of Merapi Mountain in the north. Only about 15 minutes' driving can reach both campuses' locations from Yogyakarta's main airport, Adisucipto International Airport. Veteran Campus is located right in the main ring road that circles the city. It is home to the Faculty of Mineral Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Economics. There are about 20 buildings and outdoor facilities on this Campus, including BNI Bank and ATM Center, University's Main Office, University's Main Auditorium, University's Main Library, University's Research and Community Service Center, Administration Office, Greenhouses, Canteens, and Food Courts, University's Clinic, Mosque, University's Shops, University's Printing Center, University's Car Wash Center, University's Warehouse, Student Dormitory, Student's Union Office, Soccer field, Futsal field, Basketball field, large space of Parking Areas, and many more. Meanwhile, Babarsari Campus is located close to the city's outer highway. It is home to the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Faculty of Social and Politics Science. There are about 15 buildings and facilities on this campus, including the University's Language and Multimedia Center, the University's Museum of Geotechnical and Mineral, the University's Laboratory Center, Mosque, University's Shop, Volleyball field, Badminton courts, Tennis courts, and many more. Both campuses are surrounded by various private boarding houses and a wide range of national and international culinary tastes. However, the local taste of Yogyakarta cuisines is also interesting to try out. The most popular food in Yogyakarta, Meatball Soup served with noodle and green pokchoy called "Bakso," can be found at every street corner. Night activities in Yogyakarta are quite ardent. Local food stalls and cafes are serving foods for late supper until nightfall. Moreover, many 24 hours convenience stores and drugstores are available everywhere to serve sudden personal care needs. 3. The Eberswalde campus is just 60 km from the hustle and bustle of the German capital, Berlin. With its 17 degree programs, the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde has a unique profile focusing on sustainable economics. The university in Eberswalde's combination of subjects about the rural environment and close cooperation with regional and international research and business partners is unique in Germany. The Eberswalde campus has been committed to sustainable research and teaching for over 180 years: The University of Applied Sciences for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) was founded in 1830 as the Forestry Academy. Since the traditional forestry and timber research campus near Berlin reopened its doors in 1992, the university has focused on forward-looking industries and critical sectors such as renewable energy, regional management, sustainable tourism, conservation, forestry, organic farming, adaptation to climate change or sustainable economics. The Utopia Internet portal pronounced HNE Eberswalde Germany's greenest university in 2009. In 2010 and 2017, the university won the European EMAS Award for its exemplary environmental management. All of the degree programs are dedicated to sustainable management. That includes incorporating the local region. Many seminars, projects, and excursions are held in cooperation with renowned partners from the business world. That ensures that students receive insights into potential professions. The campus's location in Eberswalde is also rooted in a thriving network of science, business, administration, and politics in the region. In addition to the successful students and lecturers, the University of Applied Sciences for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (FH) is known for its incredibly successful research. As one of Germany's strongest research universities, we work with numerous regional and international partners – a network we expanded for the long-term in recent years. The University of Applied Sciences in Eberswalde considers itself a democratic and cosmopolitan university. We guarantee the constitutionally anchored freedom of science, research, and teaching, and we uphold the multiplicity of opinions and methods within the framework of the constitution. We are dedicated to the goal of a need-based education oriented towards the future at the forefront of theory and practice while paying attention to economic sustainability principles. Based on a democratic and just state, the university stands for cultural tolerance, solidarity, and science and technology's social responsibility. Our mission to fulfill the tasks of education and maintain applied research is based upon the demands of science and society's needs. Through the creative and critical realization of this mission, we contribute to economic, technical, social, and cultural progress and the future of the individual and society as a whole. The university's innovative developmental potential arises from its integration of local academic traditions into the modern development of science. In the cooperation of the faculties, we see an essential creative means to develop the university. Its interdisciplinary character is a central guideline of its activities. We implement the principle of global responsibility in local activities using application-related research in cooperation with partners in business, politics, administration, science, and ever-growing exchange programs and cooperation with foreign universities and institutions. To this, we add an awareness of our political responsibility to the community. Teaching, research, and applications are human activities undertaken for humans. Personal development, interdisciplinary openness, collegial cooperation, awareness of one's responsibility, and the ability to communicate, judge, and be critical are indispensable. The university's internal composition and culture need to observe the genders' equal rights and involve students and staff members in the decision-making processes and the transparency of administrational activities.

In general students are mature executives normally with significant industry experience. The average age of current MDCI students is 35 and most have over 8 years of relevant experience. The university partner provides the identical academic components of the program, including teaching that students enjoy on campus. MDCI provides local support for both university and student. A framework also demonstrates how learners can progress through higher levels of certification within a framework. Universities, colleges, training companies, and employers in over 90 countries now implement certifications from the Digital Marketing Institute’s Certification Framework. 8. The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is an institution of research and higher education dedicated to studying world affairs, with a particular emphasis on the cross-cutting fields of international relations and development issues. Through our core activities, we aim to promote international cooperation and contribute to the progress of developing societies. More broadly, we endeavor to develop creative thinking on our time's significant challenges, foster global responsibility, and advance respect for diversity. We are a cosmopolitan community located in the heart of Geneva, an international city, and a center of global governance. By intensely engaging with international organizations, NGOs, governments, and multinational companies, we participate in global discussions and prepare future policy-makers to lead tomorrow's world. The Graduate Institute is an institution of further education that offers study programs, executive education, and expertise in international relations and development studies. It seeks to offer an independent and rigorous analysis of major contemporary global issues as part of efforts to promote international cooperation and make an academic contribution to less-developed societies' progress. The Institute offers students from all over the world an opportunity to undertake advanced bilingual (English-French) disciplinary and interdisciplinary (Masters and PhDs) studies intended to give them the high-level skills necessary to make an essential contribution towards peace and development. The Institute combines teaching and academic research with expertise and executive education to respond flexibly to public and private international actors' needs. Thanks to its position in Geneva, it can benefit from the many international governmental and non-governmental organizations in Geneva and the city's diplomatic missions. It offers the international community and the Swiss diplomatic community a forum for meetings and a forward-looking reflection platform. The Institute is the focal point for the Swiss Network of International Studies. This network includes the University of Geneva and other Swiss academic partners, intended to strengthen international studies in Switzerland and encourage, following in the tradition of its predecessor, the RUIG, cooperation between academic institutions and international organizations. The Institute also maintains and develops partnerships and participates in international exchange networks. The Institute is governed independently according to a clearly defined set of responsibilities for all its entities and a management system based on efficiency and flexibility principles. The Institute encourages widespread participation in its activities. The Institute offers public service and is supported by financial contributions from the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva. As part of efforts to fulfill the objectives it has set for itself, the Institute seeks to diversify its sources of funding to increase the number of scholarships it can offer and create employment opportunities. We are well-placed to meet this challenge thanks to several comparative advantages: Our cosmopolitanism, which allows students from over a hundred countries to experience global diversity and build lifelong connections A small community, which facilitates close and productive interaction between teachers and students A remarkable wealth of expertise, which includes both accomplished specialists and junior researchers (Ph.D. candidates make up nearly half of the student body) and is reinforced by our commitment to interdisciplinary cooperation Our strong ties to International Geneva, with its range of actors (diplomatic missions as well as international and non-governmental organizations) and focus areas which are crucial to the future of our world (humanitarian action and human rights, trade, peacebuilding, the environment, migration, health, and more), providing numerous opportunities for cooperation An international network of academic partners, notably in the principal emerging countries, offers our students valuable study and research exchanges. A commitment to excellence, upon which our reputation is based and which guarantees the value of our diplomas Our Institute has earned a worldwide reputation for preparing students for international careers. We are committed to strengthening this reputation by building upon tradition and encouraging innovation, but above all, by ensuring our graduates' professional success, whether they choose to pursue careers in the public sector, the private sector, or the non-profit sector. Whichever path they follow, they will benefit from an education that combines intellectual rigor with a practical focus to allow them to make a beneficial impact on our world. View full university
  9. IHS's approach is based on the cross-fertilization of our main three activities: education, advisory services, and applied research. By being involved in different core activities simultaneously, IHS urban specialists can create strong links between theory and practice. IHS staff members spend a substantial amount of time working in the field, and they possess relevant expertise within the context of different countries they have worked in. This way, they provide support, training, and relevant services for course participants and clients. Inputs drawn from the advisory and research activities are also reflected in the classroom, where course participants benefit from the lecturers' rich knowledge and professional background. The Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) is an education, advisory, and research institute of Erasmus University Rotterdam. For 60 years, it has been our mission to develop human and institutional capacities, reduce poverty, and improve cities' quality of life. Looking at cities from different perspectives, we educate urban professionals with diverse backgrounds, consult national and local governments from the Global South, and engage in cutting-edge urban research. Bringing practical experience from real-life projects back to the classroom, we inspire collaboration and co-creation of urban knowledge. Together with our partners, we work at the forefront of urban development to improve people living in cities. IHS is about making cities work. IHS' approach to the problems faced in reducing poverty and improving the quality of life in cities is based on the cross-fertilization of three activities: education, advisory services, and applied research. IHS strongly believes in linking theory and practice: staff members spend a substantial amount of time working in the field, possessing relevant expertise within the context of different countries they have worked in, and thus providing support, training, and services that are relevant for course participants and clients. Our alumni network includes over 9000 active urban experts worldwide, ranging from architects, social scientists, economists to public administration workers, civil servants, and government officials. 10. The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics was established in Karachi in 1957 and in 1964 accorded the status of an autonomous research organization by the Government of Pakistan. It is devoted to theoretical and empirical research in Development Economics in general and on Pakistan-related economic issues in particular. In addition to providing a firm academic basis to economic policy-making, its research also provides a window through which the outside world can view the nature and direction of economic research in Pakistan. Other social sciences, such as demography and anthropology, and interdisciplinary studies increasingly define the widening scope of research that must be undertaken for proper economic policy and development to have sound underpinnings. Over the past 50 years, PIDE has earned an international reputation and recognition for its research. Our faculty is rich and our advisory committee consists of world-renowned economists such as Nobel Laureate Robert A. Mundell. PIDE is located at the Quaid-i-Azam University Campus in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The campus rests against the backdrop of the Margalla Hills on the Potohar Plateau, within a short distance of the remains of Taxila, which once housed the world's oldest university. 11.

The Matilda International Hospital was extremely supportive and offered available hospital space that could be used for a more formal playgroup. With the generous support of sponsors and parents, combined with a firm commitment from the Matilda Hospital, a purpose-built facility was opened on the grounds of the hospital in 1981 by Mrs. Anne Marden.

A framework also demonstrates how learners can progress through higher levels of certification within a framework. The Framework operates internationally and importantly also provides a basis for professional certifications within the Digital Sales & Marketing Industry. It allows students, educators, and employers to easily understand a professional’s competency and assists in portability between countries or employers. The Digital Marketing Institute Certification Framework provides a system around which the key stakeholders can gather – Students, Professionals, Educators, and Employers. It allows all groups to understand the certification standards, the skills and competencies, and modes of assessment and it relates these certifications to industry-specific roles and jobs. The certification is the currency that flows between these key stakeholder groups. 24. Archaeological remains discovered in this area show that it has been a center of civilization for some 5,000 years. The Institute, the neighbor to several other academic outfits situated in this historic and scenic part of the green foothills of the great South Asian mountain ranges, is the hub of economic and social science research in this part of the world. In November 2006, PIDE was granted the degree awarding status and hence our top priority now is to provide affordable quality education but of world-class standard in this region along with a truly stimulating learning environment. The advice of PIDE's International Advisory Board is also sought on various aspects of the Institute's academic activities. This Board comprises outstanding scholars (including Nobel Laureates) in the fields of Economics, Demography, and Anthropology.
