      2. Tripoli is the city of science and scientists. We hope that your goals will be to achieve science, justice, freedom, unity, and charity at work. Science is a duty in Islam, and God's instinct in man and the knowledge connected to God paves the way for justice, and justice is to achieve the approach of God in real life. Justice governs the flag and directs its ends to the good of all people. Freedom is an instinct in human nature, human morals worsen, and its work worsens if its freedom is curbed or besieged. Freedom is the presumption of monotheism, and tyranny is linked to polytheism. The nation's power in its unity and cohesion, the difference and disagreement lead to conflict and failure, and the decline of vigor, occupation, colonialism, and all that you hear and hear from around you. As for charity in work, there are two parts: the perfection of perfection, the division of charity, the proficiency in working and producing knowledge and inspiration, intelligence and skill; a nation that is not proficient in its work is assassinated by psychological, spiritual and physical weakness and all the colors of poverty. As for charity, it is to direct the ends of the work done to God, and to the good of the people, the right people, their benefit to the people, charity to worship God as if you see, if you did not see it sees you. All of the above leads to the importance of knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is the present's capital, the hope of the future, and its universal knowledge, but knowledge without wisdom leads to wars and destruction and destruction as you hear and see from around you! Wisdom is the insight into the consequences of things, and the guidance of the goals of science and knowledge for the good of all humanity; it is - then - the purest nectar distilled by the mind of man, so God said: "The wisdom comes from whom He wills.

Philosopher Abu Ala Marri also visited Mutanabi, the famous traveler Ibn Battuta, where he devotes a particular chapter in his book known journey of Ibn Battuta. Our Lord is on us to trust us, and here is our prophet, and here is the fate. "Our Lord opens between our people and us the right, and you are the best conquerors." Our students, peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings, and congratulations to you at the beginning of the new school year... We hope that your goals will be to achieve science, justice, freedom, unity, and charity at work. Science is a duty in Islam, and God's instinct in man and the knowledge connected to God paves the way for justice, and justice is to achieve the approach of God in real life. 4. The idea of establishing Al-Manar University of Tripoli (MUT) dates to 1958, when the late Prime Minister Mr. Rashid Karami, together with educator Mr. Muhieddine Makkouk, a select group of leading citizens of Tripoli, decided to launch a project to meet the educational concerns of North Lebanon. In 1966, they formally established "Al-Manar Society," a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education to students of North Lebanon and other regions of the Arab World. During the years that followed, the SocietySociety focused tremendous effort on acquiring land suitable for establishing a world-class university campus. Through a combination of purchase and grant, the SocietySociety successfully secured 255,000 m2 of separate land plots at a location known as "Baal Al-Ghandour." With continued perseverance by H.E. Omar Karami, aided by a special governmental Decree, the scattered areas of land were redistributed to form one uniform plot of land designated for the university campus. Today, the broad area dedicated to constructing the MUT campus and its ancillaries stands at 150,561 m2. After the assassination of H.E. Mr. Rashid Karami, Prime Minister Omar Karami assumed the Chairmanship of "Al-Manar Society" and formed the first University Board of Trustees in 1990. The Board was chaired by H.E. Omar Karami and 18 other prominent members of SocietySociety from Lebanon and the Arab World, each offering a unique combination of skills and financial support. The Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation donated funds to construct MUT's Central Library. Mr. Abdel Majid Shoman donated funds to construct MUT's Abd el Hamid Shoman Arts & Sciences Building. H.E. Mr. Moustafa Durneika donated funds to construct MUT's Administration Building, all of which currently stand as a shimmering attestation to the University's bright future as a beacon of knowledge for generations to follow. The Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) provides a faculty team of outstanding designers, artists, architects, and scholars. Students undergo an educational experience underscored by rigorous requirements and reviews. They have educated on the premise that design is an art, and making art requires design. The notion of design at FAD is predicted on the marriage of science and the fine arts. Philosophically, FAD believes in the value of holistic education, one that balances the emphasis on the professional major with an equally important expectation that a student be versed in the humanities, literature, and the social sciences. This combination ensures that focused study is supplemented by a broad understanding of the context in which designers, artists, and art educators pursue their chosen fields of work. The mission of the Faculty of Business Administration at MUT is an integral part of the MUT Mission. The faculty was established to satisfy the needs of the local community and students from outside Lebanon. The Business Faculty accomplishes its mission by fostering the following majors: Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information System, and Hospitality and Tourism. The variety of the Business programs will provide enrolled students with the proper and necessary skills to find the right solutions to the business organizations in general and contribute to the economic development and growth of SocietySociety in particular. The mission of the Faculty of Public Health is to advance public health knowledge, promote health and well-being, and prevent disease and disabilities within communities in Lebanon and the Arab world in general. The faculty strives to accomplish this goal through excellence in education, fostering research opportunities, and service to communities through collaborative partnerships. The faculty is comprised of three academic units: the departments of environmental and occupational health (EOH), nursing (NUR), and nutrition (NUT).
