    Job DescriptionAs a Product Cost Senior Analyst, you will ensure that Inventory/costs for the company's products are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance with financial accounting standards. As well as, overseeing the cost control systems, managing and interpreting cost audits, and preparation of cost accounting reports for presentation to top management. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform cost runs for parts/products monthly, after reviewing new standard rates against the previous one. Prepare monthly aging reports for all inventory items, which may lead to forming provisions for the slow moving items and obsolete material. Monthly analysis for inventory adjustment with direct COGS effect. Review and control inventory purchase requisitions for parts not under-agreements. Review and post Cycle Counts according to changes in BOM or API reflection. Accountable for communications with auditors, and annual financial reviews. Conduct physical inventory counts at GM Egypt plant and investigate cycle counts' results. Other tasks as deemed appropriate to accomplish the job requirements.
