- Imperial International School is located in Al Rawdah District, one of the upscale neighborhoods of Jeddah. The school is an international, non-discriminative, selective, English-medium day school serving both the local and expatriate communities in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Imperial International School is co-educational from nursery till G3 and segregated from G4 till graduation year. It operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and is accredited by both NWAC and WASC. Students, teachers, and all other staff members are committed to promoting an environment of diversity and acceptance. We believe that school should be a place where children are excited to go. We are working to build a world where they jump out of bed on weekdays, a world where they look forward to Saturday mornings. Our aspiration for all of our students is to achieve their highest potential within our rigorous and challenging curriculum. We promote successful integration into an increasingly technological, complex, and diverse world. We have identified the key competencies to be acquired by the students. The competencies are excellent communication, creative thinking, proactive collaboration, self-directed life-long learning, community contribution, and capable citizenship. Imperial International School is a community whose members inspire one another to learn, work and play in an atmosphere of collaboration and respect while ethically preparing for a global society. To encourage life-long learners to be responsible citizens in an ever-changing technological world. Our Beliefs are: All students will learn when their needs are the primary focus of all the decisions impacting the work of the school. Our curriculum offers these students a myriad of approaches from which to learn. Teachers provide a variety of learning activities that accommodate differences in learning needs. A safe and physically comfortable learning atmosphere promotes student learning. The integration of technology into the curriculum is essential for providing students with skills to become global citizens. A student’s self-esteem is enhanced by the mutual trust and positive relationships developed within the school community. Students will become confident, self-directed, independent learners when they are actively engaged in the learning process. Students need to apply their learning in meaningful contexts and be able to demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills using a variety of assessment tools. Imperial International School dedicates its efforts to the intellectual, cultural, and social growth of each student. The School strives to create a flexible environment that encourages creativity, self-discipline, and motivation to learn. The curriculum aims at developing strong academic skills in critical thinking, reading, writing, mathematics, and science. Academic studies also include Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Arabic, French, Computer Skills, Business, Art, and Physical Education. Since the last visit of NWAC in June 2010, the Self Study Team embarked on an intensive endeavor with the slogan “Looking Backward – Moving Forward”. The major objective of this effort was to come up with a clearer picture of who we are, what we want, what we do, and where we are going. The team relied on multiple data resources so that the analysis would be as accurate as possible. The data gathered included students results, teachers’ assessments, parents’ surveys, and Best Practices and Benchmarking tools provided by external consultants. The output has been used as a decision-making tool and served as a foundation for long-term improvement plans. During the planning phase, the Self Study Team adopted a holistic approach to integrating both the boys and girls sections of the school. It also focused on materializing the high academic achievements for all students. Finally, in our quest to diversify the quality perspective, the school sought affiliation to the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) in September 2012. The Initial Visit was conducted in December 2012 and the school was granted Initial Accreditation which is valid through June 2016. With a strong belief that “success is a journey, not a destination” each team member at Imperial International School's “family” is eager to make it an enjoyable and rewarding voyage. - Imperial College London is a world-top ten university with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. Consistently rated amongst the world's best universities, Imperial is committed to developing the next generation of researchers, scientists, and academics through collaboration across disciplines. Located in London's heart, Imperial is a multidisciplinary space for education, research, translation, and commercialization, harnessing science and innovation to tackle global challenges. Global research-driven universities like Imperial College London have a central role in helping humanity address these changes and challenges by making discoveries, educating leaders, and developing innovations that benefit society. However, these universities will need to change to contribute to this future. In our Strategy 2015–2020, we set out how Imperial will be a source of new solutions, a contributor to a better future, a trusted partner, and a new paradigm of the global university. We will support an atmosphere and culture that embraces discovery. We will continue to be guided by our mission of achieving enduring excellence in research and education in science, engineering, medicine, and business for the benefit of society. We will shrink the time and distance between fundamental discovery and societal benefit. We will provide our students with the knowledge and experiences that equip them for their future roles as leaders. We will have the courage to take risks. We will remain true to our mission. While we cannot envision all of the challenges ahead, we believe that Imperial can contribute by focusing our research around four themes: discovery and the natural world engineering novel solutions health and well-being and leading the data revolution. Great discoveries begin with great people: talented individuals steeped in the knowledge of their core discipline, confident enough to work on risky, unsolved problems, adept at understanding and working with others from different fields, and immersed in an atmosphere of excellence. They are underpinned by talented support staff who put their full energy and passion into their work and our mission. We will make supporting and enabling all these people central to what we do. Our bright and energetic students are integral to our mission. We will enhance their experiences by embedding their education in cutting-edge research and providing increasing opportunities for them to use their talents in new entrepreneurial, creative, and practical ways. The Dyson School of Design Engineering is an example of how we will nurture the multifaceted talents of our students and develop them into future leaders. We have a tremendous asset in our highly successful alumni and friends. We will revitalize our relationship with them and encourage them to be a part of the Imperial College London of today and the future. Their knowledge, expertise, and experience will contribute to the intellectual power of the College. Across the world, people recognize that the changes and challenges we face require us to work together more effectively. Universities must drive collaboration, work across disciplines, and seize opportunities in ways and at a pace unusual for academia. It is the only way that we can solve the world's challenges. At Imperial, we are good at working across disciplines and collaborating. In 2014 three-quarters of our research papers collaborated with external co-authors from over 140 countries and 6,000 different universities, businesses, and other research organizations. However, we can be even better and can lead to new areas. We will seek the very best from around the world, sometimes collaborating with our toughest competition to create a fantastic team. We will ensure that our reward structures provide incentives for sharing, collaborating, and building relationships. This means that we will recognize collaboration in our evaluations for promotions and awards, and we will advocate for funders and evaluators to support collaborative work. We will make all of our campuses into dynamic centers of collaboration and innovation. We will bring staff, students, entrepreneurs, and industry researchers together in modern purpose-built spaces where ideas can be developed and tested rigorously and where networks can flourish. In White City, we create a new campus where partnerships working on global challenges transcend departmental boundaries. Every day, individuals, policymakers, and business leaders face questions, the answers to which require an understanding of the natural world, technology, medical advances, and business analysis. We can make a tremendous difference by using our expertise and knowledge to provide factual evidence and advice to government and business decision-makers. Also, the world is full of people who are naturally curious and enjoy learning. We must excite and inspire the public, from potential new students to eager lifelong learners, by sharing what we do in ways that arouse curiosity, awaken a love of discovery, and broaden the understanding of an increasingly complex world. Researchers are courageous. We probe the boundaries of knowledge; we seek discovery and delve into the unknown. We take calculated risks when we know we are onto something important. We find collaborators readily. Individually we already know how to do this. Institutions are more conservative. We will ensure that Imperial creates an environment where researchers can be courageous and push back the boundaries of their fields. We will make working together easy and support judicious risk-taking and collaboration. The world is changing, and Imperial is changing too. We set out this Strategy 2015–2020 to help guide us in the next few years. We acknowledge that we do not know where the new challenges and opportunities will be. We do know that we have great people, and we will build a more agile, adaptive, and resilient organization so that we will be ready for whatever the future holds.

- The Imperial College of Business Studies, Lahore (ICBS), was established in 1991 by the Pakistan Benevolence & Social Management Trust. The initial development of ICBS was supported by academic collaboration with the University of Hull, UK. ICBS has established a truly enviable reputation for integrity and excellence in higher education in a short span. The College offers highly market-relevant undergraduate and graduate programs in business administration and related areas. ICBS is actively involved in research and offering short training courses for the industry. Major programs in this area include Small Business Finance Corporation (now the SME Bank), First Women Bank, and the Pakistan Television Corporation. The quality of higher education in Pakistan is naturally a significant concern to the College and its sponsors. The pursuit of quality is the reason we are of ICBS. ICBS is one of only thirteen private institutions in Pakistan selected through an independent evaluation by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to provide student scholarships granted by the Government of Japan (JICA). ICBS is only one of the few elite institutions in Pakistan approved by Citibank where the Bank’s staff can be enrolled, and Citibank reimburses the program fee. Our students have also excelled at universities abroad, and a few are even teaching abroad. All this has been made possible by the unrelenting efforts of our faculty. The College has one of the most qualified groups of faculty members. Almost all the faculty members have foreign academic credentials – and as a group, perhaps there would be few institutions in Pakistan that could match this. ICBS has Academic Advisors comprising faculty in the USA, UK, and the Middle East. It has signed MOUs/Agreements for student exchanges and faculty collaboration with several universities in the USA and UK. The faculty and staff, and facilities alone are not sufficient determinants of quality – another critical input is the quality of its student intake. ICBS has a very selective student body. Typically, only about fifty percent of all applicants are accepted for admission. A significant proportion of these students have a first-class bachelor’s degree from institutions like the Government College, Lahore, and Kinnaird College, Lahore. The students, who are admitted through a rigorous screening process, generally have outstanding schooling and academic background.
