Students are offered specialized computer classrooms with training and check-up programs for Russian as a foreign language. As a foreign language, courses of Russian will improve your knowledge of Russian grammar and familiarize you with Russian and Belarusian literature, culture, traditions, and national features of Belarusians. Highly skilled teachers teach the courses with many years of experience working with international students in Belarusian universities and abroad. Many of them are the authors of course books, tutorial guides, and original methodologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language. During the past years, the Pre-university department has accumulated a wealth of experience in teaching the Russian language to foreigners. This experience is reflected in the textbooks and course materials utilized in the classroom. Russian teachers prepared most of these materials for foreigners. All our teachers are fully qualified and experienced in teaching Russian as a foreign language to allow international students to meet the University's entry requirements. In-class teaching methods are augmented by various audio-visual aids available to students of the Pre-university department – these include several language labs with an extensive collection of audiotapes and classrooms equipped with video systems for viewing educational and feature films. Individual study rooms are equipped with computers and Russian training and controlling programs. The Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) was founded 77 years ago in 1933. 10. The Moscow School was conceived and began operating at the beginning of the 1990s. For the first time in many decades, it became possible to create something new within Russia's education system: something different in content, different in form, and methodology. During this period, the main aim of the School was to create a university in Russia that could compete with the best universities in the world. On the one hand, it was necessary to prevent the outflow of talented youth to the West. On the other hand, it was a chance to prove that there are no fundamental obstacles to applying Western models of higher education in Russia. By resolving those first two problems, the Moscow School set itself up as a working model of such a university and as an experimental platform for testing and implementing higher education innovation. The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (MSSES) is an accredited, global educational institution. Since 1995, MSSES has worked actively to provide various higher education programs – namely master's degrees – and professional training. The main aim of the Moscow School's founders was to create a university in Russia that could compete with the best universities in the world. Six years before the Bologna Declaration signing, the Moscow School had already adopted the "Bologna structure." To ensure excellence, the Moscow School has selected the best Russian scholars and trained them in leading Western universities. It has also created an academic library that remains unique in terms of maintaining Western library standards in a Russian university. Furthermore, the Moscow School has created curricula and programs that have since been accredited by either British universities or the Russian Department of Education. Working in harmony with both the Russian and British education systems, the Moscow School offers programs in professional retraining and implements the most effective teaching and self-training methods. Each year the Moscow School's five faculties teach more than three hundred students. More than two thousand individuals have graduated over the past years and are successfully pursuing their professional careers.

The highest priority is that education must focus on the development of every student’s potential. Members of democratic societies must inherently show respect for the law, the rights of others, and understand the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. The learner-centered approach to education focuses on developing a personality or individual for whom participation in civil society is not an imposed external obligation, but the result of internal motivation and intelligent choices. Education needs to center on the development of students' values, the ability to think creatively and critically, to effectively communicate, and to act decisively in various circumstances with consideration to one’s well-being and the well-being of others. 19. View full university
