- “Children learn best when they are happy” – At our school, a successful day can be measured by our children’s happiness. We value and aim to instill kindness, compassion, love, and respect in young children all of which are taught through role modeling, in-depth conversations, and role-play scenarios. Children are given the freedom to express themselves, create their happiness, and instill happiness in others. When children attend The Tiny Seeds, they are enveloped in a sea of warmth and affection. Our environment has been carefully crafted to entertain all developmental learning areas, spark curiosity, encourage creativity and foster learning through fun and play within a natural setting. Our school especially vibrates a homely feel so our children are comfortable and secure in their learning environment. Students are encouraged to understand what they are taught and also to represent their learning creatively. We appreciate originality and individuality and foster this creative process through projects, open-ended tasks, and hands-on activities. Here, children are prepped with all the attitudes and skills needed to transition smoothly into primary schools and the diversifying multi-cultural world we now live in. The curriculum has been carefully adapted to work in our hometown (Bangkok, Thailand), to meet the diverse cultures represented at our school, and to incorporate a center-based approach that allows for our children to learn while playing. We encourage children to reach their full potential and to bring out their characteristics as we see the importance of standing out as an individual in a world of diversity. Learning is modeled through the creative act of making, building, doing, and visualizing the concepts that are part of the curriculum. Teachers use our daily assessment checks to gauge understanding and reteach concepts that may be challenging. Each teaching lesson is measured for understanding beginning from our youngest class to our oldest class. Children are exposed to a variety of learning styles to understand focus concepts in all subject areas. Each child is assessed at the beginning of each Term to track their overall learning path within the academic year. Additionally, we provide Term Reports to families at the end of Terms 1 and 3 to indicate their child’s progress. Our teachers are always available and appointments can be made at any time to discuss any areas of concern. “We all belong to one family or another” – Here at The Tiny Seeds, our family involves the Owners, Administrators, Teachers, Assistants, Nannies, and all our Support staff. Together, we create a home for your child from the moment they arrive in school each day till the time they leave to go home. Your child is our priority and we aim to do our best to ensure their happiness, safety, and security. At The Tiny Seeds, we use active forms of communication to keep our families informed of their child’s daily activities and their well-being at school. During the academic year, there are many opportunities for families to form close relationships with staff at our school. Parents are invited to join a lot of our school events and activities such as our Meet and Greet, Performances, Celebrations (ie. Loy Krathong), and Family Sports Day. During the year, we regularly ask for parent volunteers to educate our children during Career Week, International Week as well as Book Week. View full school

- Each day’s schedule is carefully planned with an emphasis on exploration and process, questioning and discovering. Activities are designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and ethical growth along developmental continuums. Classrooms are divided into areas with developmentally appropriate activities available for a single child or small groups of children to enjoy. Our older children also work on projects in groups or individually in which they learn about topics of interest to them. Our teachers are nurturers and facilitators, who help children plan, select, and explore materials in ways, which help them develop study skills that further their readiness to move easily and confidently into kindergarten. Mitsui Gardens International Preschool is the result of a response that child care was needed by the American Embassy community in Tokyo. It has grown from a small daycare facility with one teacher and an assistant to a full-fledged international preschool. Our Mitsui Gardens International Preschool’s philosophy, teachers, parents, and curriculum support a developmental, dramatic play-based approach to learning, which is incorporated in our daily activities and schedules. We provide challenging activities which offer children many opportunities to construct new knowledge about their world through play. Each day’s schedule is carefully planned to provide developmentally age-appropriate activities designed to entice children to explore and learn. The lessons and activities follow The Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood developed by Teaching Strategies, Inc. located in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. The curriculum provides our staff with clear and concrete ways to apply child development research and learning theories in our classrooms! View full school
- Poppins Active Learning International School is an international, comprehensive pre-school and kindergarten learning institute. PALIS has been built upon the strong foundation of Poppins International Pre-School, PIPS, which has been operating at the same bright location in Ebisu, Tokyo since 1997. Poppins Corporation, established in 1987 by Noriko Nakamura, has earned a respected reputation in Japan for outstanding Nanny Training Programmes and Nursery School. After 28 years, we continue to engage children in Active Learning carefully planned to nurture lifelong skills and abilities in an educational environment that is safe, positive, and intellectually stimulating. The educational experience offered at PALIS is a synthesis of high-quality education and childcare, which we termed as “Edu-care”. Our Edu-care concept is showcased in PALIS, where our international teams of teachers nurture and facilitate educating children to their full potential by applying cutting-edge educational theory into the day-to-day learning environment. Curious by nature, children construct the world around them through exploration. They learn through active interaction with others and the environment. When engaged in activities, young children reach the highest level of learning that enables them to analyze their ideas in different situations. They discover and develop connections to create and think critically. With this understanding, Poppins Active Learning International School (PALIS) offers the highest quality education for children ages 11 months to 6 years of age (before elementary school). For over 28 years, Poppins has engaged children in active learning designed to nurture lifelong skills and abilities. We provide an educational environment that is safe, positive, and intellectually stimulating. Our educational philosophy is to provide a rich educational experience with emphasis on Honesty, Gratitude, and Integrity. The educational experience offered at PALIS is a synthesis of standards-based education and high-quality childcare. We call this synthesis of education and childcare “Educare“. Our activities nurture learning through exploration that is authentic, interactive, and international. We promote independence by enabling problem-solving abilities rather than rote memorization. Children strengthen their creativity and critical thinking using diverse learning methods and modalities. To foster these abilities, PALIS features active learning programs for science, art, music, maths, languages, physical development, lifesaving, and self-discovery time. At our international school, we seek to foster multicultural and bilingual individuals capable of participating in the Global Society. Children acquire English and native Japanese through face-to-face communication and playful activities designed to stimulate meaningful and constructive interactions. Our bilingual staff helps and comforts young children in the early stages of understanding English. We also offer Japanese-only after-school classes from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. The PALIS curriculum is based on British educational standards called the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Adopted as part of the education curriculum in the United Kingdom, the EYFS reflects British history, culture, and learning in education. The EYFS is a comprehensive framework based on the learning criteria of children ages 3 to 6, including physical development and childcare. The framework requires a summative evaluation of the child’s progress twice a year, including discussions with parents on how their child is progressing. Our programs enable children to play freely to foster their curiosity and inquiring minds to make learning connections. We support activities based on themes and cherish children’s questions to promote learning. School Programmes are offered every day for both PALIS students and students from other schools. Snack time starts at 3:00 pm, for 30 minutes, with one-hour after-school programs every day from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Clean-up and wind-down time run until 5:00 pm. Our programs are English Literacy, Art, Maths & Science, Ballet, and Kids Yoga. All programs are in English. By incorporating a maximum number of activities, our programs stimulate children’s bodies and minds to become better acquainted with English. All programs have specialized instructors and native English speakers! View full school

Our Yokohama English preschool staff keep in mind that we never feel stressed in children's first experience of learning. In addition, Yokohama English preschool incorporates a wide variety of cultures from around the world for children to acquire an international sense. - More and more parents want to give their children the opportunity to become truly bilingual and to embrace our globalized world. Our English Immersion Programme is designed to start your child on their journey to a bilingual life with all the joys that this will bring. Our goal is to foster the early childhood developmental milestones and to build your child’s love for learning while becoming fluent in another language! Nursery school children are the perfect age to begin learning a second language. Studies have shown that children who learn a second language during the preschool years go on to speak more fluently than those who begin to learn at an older age. In addition, bilingual children tend to be more creative, have better critical thinking skills, and a better understanding of humanity and culture. One of the reasons young children learn a new language so easily is because they learn through exploration and play. The British American Pre-School is located in an attractive building in a quiet area of Milan. The pre-school is very spacious and has every relevant facility including a large multi-function activity room, a full-sized gymnasium, and a lovely big garden, a truly excellent environment for early learning. All the classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art computers and iPads for the older children. There are sleeping facilities for the Toddler and Nursery class children. Starting school is an exciting time as children embark on new adventures in the world of learning. Our safe, nurturing, child-centered setting and high student-to-teacher ratio support each child’s unique needs and interests. We provide a tailored, multi-sensory program that offers a range of learning and developmental experiences for your child. Our focus is on fun and engaging activities that will provide play-based opportunities to promote children’s discovery of self and their environment. Children learn best by doing, and through their experiences, and active participation they blossom independently, socially, and cognitively. At BAPS we understand the diverse needs of young children and their families, and we know how vital the partnership between parents and school is in providing the best possible care for your child. We hope that you will always feel welcome to join us in class to share in your child’s development and to talk about your child’s learning journey. We feel strongly that communication between school and home is essential in maintaining our partnership, and in ensuring personalized learning opportunities for your child. View full school
- SKIP was established in 1988 by a group of parents as a branch of the Hong Kong Preschool Playgroups Association (HKPPA), an organization that promotes learning through play and encourages parent participation. Initially run from one of the founding parent’s homes, the group moved to its current location in 1989 and became a registered kindergarten. SKIP is a non-profit making organization, registered in Hong Kong as Sai Kung Pre-school Group Limited and governed by a board of directors made up of volunteer parents. We continue to follow the original philosophies of learning through play and parental involvement to this day. At SKIP we believe that ‘play is a child’s work’. Through play, children feel confident to behave in many different ways and to experiment with their physical, emotional, and cognitive selves. It is also through play that children develop their imagination and creativity. Following the play-based UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, we aim to ensure children leave us confident and well prepared to tackle the next steps in their education. SKIP parents play a vital role in the school. From attending playgroups, assisting in the classroom as duty parents, organizing or supporting fundraisers, and joining the school board, our parents all contribute to the success of SKIP. SKIP follows an adapted UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum using learning through play and a thematic teaching approach. Early years learning concentrates on 7 areas split between prime and specific areas of learning. View full school
- Parkview Rhine Garden Preschool started in 1994 and is a pre-school which is diverse and dynamic. The Rhine Garden School is comprised of two campuses, which are located on the podium of Rhine Garden, Sham Tseng, in Tower One and Tower Five respectively. In September 2007, Parkview-Rhine Garden Preschool (for 3-6 years old children) was transformed into a non-profit making school, where parents can enjoy the Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme (PEVS) offered by EDB. At the same time, Parkview-Rhine Garden International Nursery (for 2 years old children) remains in. Most current researches on young children indicate that when children play, they learn. Our curriculum is designed, based on the inter-related unit of themes and children learn through PLAY. We believe that through PLAY, young children develop sensory and cognitive senses, acquire social skills, problem-solving skills, language dexterity, and academic knowledge, and nurture creativity. Children come to PIPS at a different stage of their development, with different backgrounds and in different characters. The school plans programs and structured play-rich activities which cater to these differences. We provide children with the opportunities to explore the world around them and to take on new challenges so that they will become thinking children, self-esteemed, and independent. In planning our curriculum we welcome inputs from parents and teachers. View full school
- Parkview International Pre-School (Kowloon) is the youngest of our 3 kindergartens and was established in 2007. In March 2014 we were accepted as a candidate at PYP school. In June 2016 we officially became an IB World School. As an international kindergarten, we have a diverse population of children and teachers from all over the world. We actively promote intercultural understanding and seek to develop international-mindedness in our community. We cater to children from one to six years old and offer bilingual and trilingual classes where children all learn English and Chinese (Putonghua and/or Cantonese). Almost all our classes have a maximum of 18 children. Two qualified early years teachers, operating in their native language, teach alongside each other, providing children with rich language immersion. Our campus is bright, modern, and airy with twelve classrooms, a music room, a large outdoor play space, equipped with a variety of climbing frames and resources for developing children’s physical skills, and a well-resourced library. We are developing a small garden area for children to learn about nature. Music is taught by a specialist teacher to all classes. At PIPS we believe that children learn best through actively engaging with each other, materials, and their environment. Our approach is inquiry-based and focuses on engaging children and challenging them. At PIPS, we believe in providing a caring, stimulating, motivating, safe, and sustainable environment that inspires learners of all nationalities to achieve their full potential. This is achieved through an educational program that allows learners to observe, explore, collaborate, reason, problem-solve and evaluate through inquiry. This year PIPS Kowloon has been officially authorized as an IB World School and our sister school on Hong Kong Island gained its status as an IB school in 2009. The PYP approach emphasizes the development of the whole child both academically and personally. It also aims to instill international-mindedness in all members of its community. We welcome diversity into our schools and value what other cultures from all over the world have to offer. The PYP is a forward-looking curriculum that seeks to equip children for the rapidly changing world that they will face in the future. Our schools use an inquiry-based approach designed to engage children and to challenge them whilst teaching them skills and attitudes that they can apply in many situations and that will last for life. Our children are encouraged to ask questions and work together in a collaborative way to solve problems. We expect our children to know how to behave, to develop good manners, and to learn to respect others as well as themselves. We recognize that all children are different, learn at different rates, and have their talents and interests. We support individual children in their efforts to learn and develop and seek to motivate and challenge them at the right level. We encourage them to become caring, open-minded, tolerant, and understanding members of society who realize that other people can have different points of view and beliefs that are equally as valid as their own. At PIPS we value parental involvement and welcome parents into school on many occasions to help us and to join with us in celebrating the learning that is taking place. We believe that an open partnership between parents and teachers is fundamental to achieving the very best for all our children. We welcome you to come to see our school in action and to join us in special events that we arrange. Please contact us if you would like to have a tour of either campus. View full school

- Little Gems aspires to provide a caring, safe, and happy environment. We welcome all children irrespective of race, nationality, and religion and recognize each child as an individual, striving to help them achieve their potential. Our curriculum aims to cover the seven areas of learning in a fun and stimulating way, emphasizing learning through play and practical activities. We also endeavor to teach our children social values and develop their self-confidence through praise and positive reinforcement. At Little Gems, we feel it is essential for young children to be involved in community service and to begin to understand how to support others. We raised funds for a charity SIAB (School in a Bag). School in a Bag delivers rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources, and eating utensils to low, orphan disadvantaged, and disaster-affected children worldwide. To date, the initiative has delivered over 82,000 SchoolBags to children in 39 countries. A typical SchoolBag contains 12 pencils, a pencil case with ten biros, 12 coloring pencils, a math set, a ruler, 6 exercise books (two each of lined, squared, direct), a water bottle a lunch box. The contents are always brand new, and to ensure equality amongst the beneficiaries, the SchoolBags are all identical. After our fundraising, we were able to provide 58 bags to children across the world. Parents choosing to send their children to our school do so in the knowledge that we are a well-established school with a long-standing, excellent reputation. We have unrivaled facilities compared to the other Pre-Schools in Bahrain and offer a high standard of education, particularly regarding preparing children for their assessments when applying to other schools. Our teachers are qualified and highly experienced, and our high adult: child ratio ensures that the children receive the attention they deserve. Our driving aim is to treat each child as an individual and provide a curriculum that develops the "whole child." We provide a broad and balanced curriculum that sets out the Early Learning Goals for the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within the seven learning areas. All the areas of learning and development are essential and interconnected. Three areas are particularly crucial for igniting children's capacity to learn, form relationships, and thrive. The Prime areas are:- Communication & Language, Physical Development and Personal, Social & Emotional Development. The specific areas through which these three prime areas are strengthened and applied are:- Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts, and Design. To enhance their language development, the children enjoy a wide variety of speaking and listening activities. Active listening is practiced during a daily story time whereby all the children are encouraged to discuss the story, predict the ending, and relate the text to their own experiences. All the classes cover two themes or topics each term, which provides a wealth of opportunity for teaching new vocabulary. Interactive 'circle times' take place twice a day and aim to develop the children's confidence in speaking in front of their peers. Roleplay activities help them to learn how to express themselves effectively in different situations. To develop their gross motor skills, the children are encouraged to move with control, coordination, confidence, and imagination. This is achieved in various ways through the use of gigantic toys and P.E. equipment, such as cars, bicycles, hoops, and balls, and regular dance and movement sessions. For the development of fine-motor skills, our children learn pencil control, complete pre-writing patterns, and use a range of small (and large) pieces of equipment such as construction sets, puzzles, safety scissors, and play dough, and threading and lacing activities. We also teach the children how to look after their bodies, the importance of physical exercise, healthy eating, and safety. The children are always encouraged to talk about themselves, their family, where they come from, and special events in their lives. We have a whole school International day during the year whereby the children dress up in their national dress and bring in a plate of their home country's traditional food to share with their class. The topics covered during the year provide a wealth of social interaction, language development, and creative expression. Parents are encouraged to get involved by sending in related objects of interest, discussing the themes, and singing the songs at home. The topics usually end with a themed party, or for the older children, field trips to relevant interest places. In addition to the British Curriculum, we offer Arabic lessons to children age three and above. These sessions take place three times a week for the Nursery children and twice a week for the Upper Pre-Nursery children with Bahraini teachers and are available for children of any nationality, subject to space availability, who wish to take part.

Children are actively encouraged to experiment with writing when planning and to record their learning. Through mark-making, painting, and activities, they strengthen their fine motor control. Counting, understanding, and using numbers while playing gives children the confidence to solve mathematical problems. We plan various activities such as sorting, matching, measuring, and comparing groups to provide them with a strong foundation in this learning area. Children are continually learning about how the world around them works. At Budaiya Pre School, we encourage children to observe, explore, and find out about people, places, and technology and share their experiences with their teachers and peers. We use the latest Interactive Whiteboards and computers to support the children’s collaborative learning. As children learn in different ways, they are encouraged to express themselves by exploring various activities in art, music, movement, dance, and role-play. Creative expression reinforces what they have learned in each area. The Budaiya Pre-School provides excellent extracurricular activities. These include Music and Movement, Arabic language, English enrichment through interactive stories, Bricks for Kidz, and after school care.

- Parkview International Pre-School (Kowloon) is the youngest of our 3 kindergartens and was established in 2007. In March 2014 we were accepted as a candidate at PYP school. We actively promote intercultural understanding and seek to develop international-mindedness in our community. We cater to children from one to six years old and offer bilingual and trilingual classes where children all learn English and Chinese (Putonghua and/or Cantonese).
