      1. “Children learn best when they are happy” – At our school, a successful day can be measured by our children’s happiness. We value and aim to instill kindness, compassion, love, and respect in young children all of which are taught through role modeling, in-depth conversations, and role-play scenarios. Children are given the freedom to express themselves, create their happiness, and instill happiness in others. When children attend The Tiny Seeds, they are enveloped in a sea of warmth and affection. Our environment has been carefully crafted to entertain all developmental learning areas, spark curiosity, encourage creativity and foster learning through fun and play within a natural setting. Our school especially vibrates a homely feel so our children are comfortable and secure in their learning environment. Students are encouraged to understand what they are taught and also to represent their learning creatively. We appreciate originality and individuality and foster this creative process through projects, open-ended tasks, and hands-on activities. Here, children are prepped with all the attitudes and skills needed to transition smoothly into primary schools and the diversifying multi-cultural world we now live in. The curriculum has been carefully adapted to work in our hometown (Bangkok, Thailand), to meet the diverse cultures represented at our school, and to incorporate a center-based approach that allows for our children to learn while playing. We encourage children to reach their full potential and to bring out their characteristics as we see the importance of standing out as an individual in a world of diversity. Learning is modeled through the creative act of making, building, doing, and visualizing the concepts that are part of the curriculum. Teachers use our daily assessment checks to gauge understanding and reteach concepts that may be challenging. Each teaching lesson is measured for understanding beginning from our youngest class to our oldest class. Children are exposed to a variety of learning styles to understand focus concepts in all subject areas. Each child is assessed at the beginning of each Term to track their overall learning path within the academic year. Additionally, we provide Term Reports to families at the end of Terms 1 and 3 to indicate their child’s progress. Our teachers are always available and appointments can be made at any time to discuss any areas of concern. “We all belong to one family or another” – Here at The Tiny Seeds, our family involves the Owners, Administrators, Teachers, Assistants, Nannies, and all our Support staff. Together, we create a home for your child from the moment they arrive in school each day till the time they leave to go home. Your child is our priority and we aim to do our best to ensure their happiness, safety, and security. At The Tiny Seeds, we use active forms of communication to keep our families informed of their child’s daily activities and their well-being at school. During the academic year, there are many opportunities for families to form close relationships with staff at our school. Parents are invited to join a lot of our school events and activities such as our Meet and Greet, Performances, Celebrations (ie. Loy Krathong), and Family Sports Day. During the year, we regularly ask for parent volunteers to educate our children during Career Week, International Week as well as Book Week. View full school
