- Welcome to St. Peter and St Paul, a thriving Catholic primary school in the heart of Islington. At St Peter and St Paul, we take a holistic approach to education which focuses on developing the whole child with Christ at the center of all we do. Here at St Peter and St Paul, we ensure your child will be encouraged, motivated, and guided to ensure that they develop their natural gifts an talents whilst becoming confident, independent learners who know how to make informed decisions about the choices they make in life. St Peter and St Paul is a thriving Catholic primary school in the heart of multi-cultural Islington, London. We work hard to deliver outstanding spiritual, moral, and learning success with artistic and intellectual abilities for our diverse range of pupils. Our code of ethics is firmly rooted in Gospel values and worship, supported by strong leadership and excellent teaching in a vibrant and friendly school. We actively encourage pupils throughout their learning journey to feel safe, secure, and valued in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect. Our mission statement is simple: ‘Love one another. OUR AIMS: "We realize how important it is that our pupils benefit from and contribute to a high caliber Catholic education. We want our children to be happy in their faith and use their social and academic skills to enrich their own lives, their families, and the wider community. To ensure that each child reaches their full potential, we regularly review and evaluate the achievements of our pupils and the school as a whole". MISSION STATEMENT: "Every child is a unique creation of God. We actively encourage each child to reach their full potential by developing the Catholic faith, where each child feels cherished for their unique personal worth. Working closely together, we want to inspire and nurture every child within a happy, secure and stimulating, inclusive environment". Our Catholic-centered learning environment offers a broad and balanced curriculum where every child can feel secure and confident. We place much emphasis on self-confidence and self-esteem, so we nurture each pupil to become independent learners and always ready to face new challenges. We aim to instill a lifelong genuine love of learning and aspiration for outstanding, personal achievement. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) applies to children from birth to the end of the Reception year. At St Peter and St Paul children can join the Early Years the September after they are three years old and join Reception in the September after their fourth birthday. St Peter and St Paul Early Years classes provide a happy and secure environment, with consistent routines, where the children can feel safe and explore rich and diverse learning opportunities. We aim to provide a sound foundation for lifelong learning, enabling the children to become increasingly independent and active learners for life. We look to provide play-based teaching and learning experiences, indoors and outdoors, of the highest quality to excite children about learning and help them to make progress in their skills and knowledge. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is made up of Prime and Specific learning areas. PRIME AREAS: Communication and Language Physical Development Personal, social, and emotional development SPECIFIC AREAS: Literacy Maths Understanding the World Expressive Arts and Design Children begin to learn phonics (sounds) in the Early Years. Once children begin learning sounds, these sounds are used to read and spell words. Children can then see the purpose of learning sounds. Christ and his teachings are very much at the heart of all we do at St Peter and St Paul. Together with parents and parish, we seek to develop and nurture the Catholic faith of our children and bring them to a fuller understanding and knowledge of Catholic teaching and tradition. We aim to work in partnership with parents and seek ways in involving them in the religious life of their children by providing opportunities for them to engage in school life. View full school
- As a Catholic School, we believe we are all children of God and together we create a loving Christian community underpinned by common Gospel values. We are fortunate to belong to a thriving one-form entry school with an on-site Pre-School. Our extensive grounds enable us to enjoy a stimulating curriculum with many opportunities for outdoor learning. We aim to: Educate all children so they reach their full potential through a memorable and exciting curriculum that challenges and inspires them. Have high expectations for learning and attitudes so that all our community strives for excellence in everything they do. Nurture spiritual and moral development so that we all act out the Christ in ourselves and see the Christ in others and develop a deep and confident relationship with God. Empower children so they become independent learners and thinkers so that they will make a difference. We do this as one family valuing the vital contribution of the school, home, and parish, in ensuring that our children receive the high standard of education they deserve. We work closely with our parish, St Lawrence’s, Sidcup, and boast strong links that provide rich opportunities for both the school and church, and this contributes to a strong sense of community. We are members of the Corpus Christi Partnership, a dedicated collaboration of Catholic schools, who together look to strengthen teaching and learning across all schools in line with our faith values and further enhance the educational experiences of our children. At St. Peter Chanel we listen to children and value the freedoms and responsibilities that a Democracy brings. We have a democratically elected Pupil Parliament and ensure that pupils have opportunities to take on responsibilities for the education, health, environmental, and transport matters. Parents and pupils are consulted regularly and there are opportunities for parents and pupils to share their views. This is done through anonymous questionnaires, parent’s forum meetings, and pupil voice monitoring exercises. We promote fairness by ensuring that all pupils are enabled to share their viewpoints without fear and see evidence that children can express their views in assemblies and a range of student body meetings. We teach children the importance of The Rule of Law. Children create ‘Golden Rules’ for their class at the beginning of each year. They understand that rules are there to protect everyone, to keep people safe, and to enable them to learn. Recently we have re-written our school rules together and all adults ensure they refer to the rules when they are reminding children of expectations. We have also done a lot of work on developing a fair behavior ladder so children understand the consequences involved in breaking our school ‘laws’. Pupils are encouraged to make choices within a safe and supportive environment. They are taught how to minimize risk, particularly when using the internet. Assemblies and PSHE lessons are used to promote Individual Liberty. Children learn how to make the right choices in different situations. They understand that the choices they make have an impact on others their liberty must not be at the expense of someone else’s well-being. Through the curriculum, our assemblies, and our faith, we teach the children Tolerance of those of Different Faiths and Beliefs. We invite other faith leaders and young members of other faiths to come into school and talk to our pupils about their faith experience and encourage visits to other places of worship. At St. Peter Chanel we actively challenge pupils or adults who express opinions that are contrary to our ethos and the ‘British values’ View full school

- SS Peter and Paul is a Catholic Primary school. This means that we embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church and operate within the expectations of the Catholic community. All of our interactions, whether with children, parents, staff, governors, and others visiting or associated with the school, are formed from Gospel values and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our behavior policy and practices are also based upon these teachings, which ensure that our children learn and grow into the faith. SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School serve the parish of SS Peter and Paul and other surrounding parishes and chaplaincies. The school works with local families that are a broad mix of nationalities, languages, cultures, and faiths. As a Catholic school, we serve Catholic families, those from other Christian denominations, and those of other faiths. This enables the school to foster an ethos of understanding, mutual respect, forgiveness, tolerance, and welcome for all. We are part of the London Borough of Merton and the Diocese of Southwark. SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School work in partnership with the Merton Catholic deanery schools and the Mitcham Town Co-operative Trust. The School normally admits children to Reception classes at the start of the school year. Parents have the right to request that their child attends part-time until the child reaches compulsory school age. Parents also have the right to defer entry within the same school year until the start of the term following the child’s fifth birthday. Parents whose applications for places are unsuccessful may appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel set up by section 85(3) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998. Appeals must be made in writing and must set out the reasons on which the appeal is made. Appeals should be made to the Admissions Appeals Clerk at the school address. Parents/Carers have the right to make oral representations to the Appeal Panel. Any late applications will be considered by the Governors' Admissions Committee in the event of any available places being using the above categories. If all places have been filled, parents will be offered the opportunity of placing their child's name on the waiting list. This does not prevent parents from exercising their right to appeal against the decision not to offer a place. Applications for places outside the normal admissions round should be made to the London Borough of Merton on an In-Year Application Form. You should also complete a Supplementary Form which will be available from the school. This admissions procedure, although primarily relevant to children for whom a place is sought at the normal age of entry to primary education (Year R), applies also to succeeding years, subject to availability of places. The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Pupil premium funding is available to both mainstream and non-mainstream schools, like special schools and pupil referral units. At SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School, we believe we offer the children a rich and varied creative curriculum that encompasses the requirements of the National Curriculum as well as other rich opportunities to allow for our children to become worldly citizens. As a school we are committed to being at the forefront of educational innovation whilst keeping children’s well-being at our heart, thus providing a curriculum that prepares our pupils to be lifelong independent learners in the 21st Century. At SS Peter and Paul Religious Education is at the heart of the core curriculum. Our creative curriculum includes the National Curriculum core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, and the foundation subjects of Technology, Art, Geography, History, Music, and Physical Education (PE). Children’s progress is regularly assessed through various assessment strategies. These assessments provide accurate, accessible information regarding children’s knowledge, understanding, and skills and are part of the tools that teachers use in building their professional knowledge of each child, to identify what is needed to further each child’s knowledge and skills base. The aim is that all children reach at least the expected standard for each year, if not beyond. In addition to the prescribed subjects, we offer our children essential Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE), Relationships and Sex Education, Dance and Drama, and French. Our philosophy of preparing our children to be global citizens who uphold British and world values has led to a highlighting of national and international issues too. Through careful planning in the medium and short term, we make sure there is progression, appropriateness of level, breadth, balance, and consistency across the statutory curriculum at SS Peter and Paul. We believe that children should learn to take risks in a secure, caring, positive, and stimulating environment. Our teachers provide well-ordered surroundings and ensure that expectations of behavior and work are high and clearly understood by the children. Here at SS Peter and Paul children are encouraged to be reflective and resourceful, take responsibility for their learning, and show reciprocity. View full school

- Peter Hills is a school where things are done differently. We pride ourselves on knowing each child and we make sure our curriculum is tailored to meet their needs. We recognize that primary education is about so much more than Maths and English and we believe every child deserves to have the best possible start to school. With this in mind, we strive to deliver experiences that focus on the whole child. If children are to be successful and fulfill their God-given potential strong partnerships between home and school are vital. We value our parents and wider community and work hard to involve them in all aspects of their children’s education. As a church school, our Christian ethos is important to us. We want our children to leave Peter Hills not only with the capacity to be the leaders of tomorrow but as kind, compassionate young people ready to take on the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our vision is that Peter Hills will be a truly learning-centered school that strives to nurture the creative talents of all its learners. We will be a school that puts the children at the heart of every decision we make. We will foster, above all else, a love for learning that extends a lifetime, and in our quest for this, we will provide children with opportunities to develop confidence and resilience through our bespoke curriculum. A broad global view will permeate the curriculum and the effective use of ICT will underpin all the school’s systems. We will use the best of modern technology to inspire learning and all future decisions about new buildings will have the flexible and sustainable delivery of our provision as the guiding design principle. Peter Hills will be a healthy, happy school where our pastoral system ensures that everyone feels safe to learn. We will be at the heart of the local community and the church. Our school will be rooted proudly in its past but will be dynamic and forward-looking it will be somewhere that remembers to enjoy the experience of today. The name Peter Hills will be synonymous with excellence and professionals both locally and nationally will recognize our practices as the gold standard. At Peter Hills, we reflect on and celebrate a different value each half term. These values are discussed in class and collective worship, they feature in our daily prayers and our praise assembly. We read stories that demonstrate the value and learn about people who inspire us to show this quality in our daily lives. RESPECT PEACE FRIENDSHIP THANKFULNESS TRUST COURAGE Peter Hills Church of England Primary School serves a diverse, open, and accepting community. Here at Peter Hills, everyone is committed to the values espoused within the Gospels. As modern British values have evolved from a time when we were historically Christian, our Gospel values and British values are fundamentally the same. Through the teaching of our curriculum, we believe in and promote core British values including democracy, respect, tolerance, acceptance, peace, being non-judgmental, humility, justice, the rule of the law, the dignity of each human being, and individual liberty, forgiveness, generosity, fairness, discipline, and hope. Our Early Years Unit provides exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for children aged 3 years (Nursery) to 5 years (Reception). We follow the Early Years Curriculum which is based upon the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a specific focus on the three core areas of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, and Physical Development. The Characteristics of Learning (engagement through playing and exploring, being motivated through active learning, and creating and thinking critically) that underpin these curriculum areas must be specifically planned for. Skills such as independence, curiosity, resilience, collaboration, and reflection are critical for success as a 21st-century learner. We aim to build upon every child’s natural curiosity, inspiring a love of learning, exploration, and creativity. We offer a safe and well-resourced environment designed to stimulate imagination, social interaction, and the development of a range of skills, ensuring that your child will grow in confidence. - Welcome to Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. We are a school that aspires to excellence, enabling students to achieve their full potential and pursue their chosen pathway. We aim to be a school where all students become successful learners, confident and competent individuals, and active and informed citizens. We provide students with an academic, sporting, cultural, and religious environment that offers a wide range of learning experiences and opportunities. Engaging in learning experiences within and beyond the classroom is an expectation for all our students. We believe that students' full and varied involvement best promotes their ability to discover and develop their talents, interests, and capabilities. Peter Moyes Anglican Community School is a proud member of the Anglican Schools Commission network of schools. The school opened in 2000 and has proliferated and developed a distinct identity in its relatively brief history. The school is set in northern Perth's coastal area with fantastic panoramic views of the nearby Indian Ocean. Our students enjoy an excellent campus with high-quality facilities, supported by a hardworking and dedicated team of staff assisting them in reaching their full potential. Across each of our Sub-Schools - Primary (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6), Middle (Years 7-9), Senior (Years 10-12) - students and staff work within a distinct pastoral care structure that aims to meet the needs of their respective students best. An integral component of the school is the development and expression of the Anglican tradition's values. We seek to develop a sense of grace and Christian purpose in our students' lives. Students actively contribute to the school's Anglican life through their participation in weekly Chapel, Religious Education classes, and Eucharist's marking significant events on the Christian calendar. I hope you enjoy the snapshot of Peter Moyes Anglican Community School's life and times that this website provides. I think you will find that a sense of connection and community is palpable in our students' informal photographs as they participate in the events that make up the School calendar. Suppose you and your child are excited by what we offer here at Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. In that case, I invite you to take a tour to see first-hand our community of confident, resilient, and engaged learners and to talk with our motivated and innovative staff. At the opening of Stage Three of the School in 2002, Mr. Peter Moyes spoke of his wish that a student named in his honor would display: "Personal excellence with compassion for others." Accordingly, the School wishes, in the Anglican tradition, to foster, model, and build the following values within its students, staff, and the broader community: Knowledge & Insight: The pursuit of truth through organized learning is conducted to emphasize collaboration and honesty. Equality & Compassion: Where all have the same value and rights as others in such a way that each can be oneself and enable others to be themselves in a spirit of equity, trust, and the acceptance of diversity. Integration & Wholeness: All work to develop the inner capacity to organize the mind, body, and spirit into a coordinated, harmonious whole. Confidence, Competence, and Responsibility: All have real confidence that they can achieve positive and are personally accountable for the development and fair use of those skills, exhibiting respect for others' rights. Self-worth: All know that others they respect and esteem know them and affirm that they are worthy of their care, respect, and protection. Members of the School community are encouraged to explore Christian beliefs, think, feel, and respect differences without denouncing other identifiable value systems. We aim to develop each person's faith within a community framework to assist each in their own spiritual and social development. The school aims to focus on the whole person's needs – intellectual, aesthetic, moral, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social. These are incorporated in the total range of activities experienced at the school, commonly known as curriculum. The curriculum includes the formal academic component of school education, developing knowledge and insight into the world of learning, and integrating experiences from various sources such as the Co-Curricular program. All students can learn. Learning is best conducted in a safe environment, where mistakes can be made without ridicule. School life's focus must be a holistic one that includes the full and balanced development of each school community member. A healthy balance must exist between school and home life demands for all students, staff, and parents. Learning is best when the learner integrates experience, imagination, information, and application. Regular feedback is vital for teachers, students, and parents. Students are recognized for their uniqueness. Our sense of community is built around the quality of relationships between staff, students, and parents. Therefore, it is partially dependent upon staff welcoming parents into the school as much as possible and associating with them on other occasions. Students need to communicate clearly and work with other students, staff, and parents. Parents need to be involved with the school as much as possible, taking an active interest in developing their own and others' children. Our school is committed to demonstrating an open and inclusive approach to all aspects of School life. Entry to the School is non-selective, and the school seeks to demonstrate a democratic approach to the education and participation of its students in all School activities. The Anglican tradition and the School's Vision and Values for its students reinforce this inclusive school environment's commitment.
- Peter Carnley Anglican Community School (PCACS) is a young and dynamic school, offering students education from Kindergarten to Year 12 across two beautiful campuses. With a new Early Learning Campus in Calista, and an attractively designed Wellard campus for students from Years 2-12, the school provides a nurturing and balanced educational experience for all its students. Both campuses enjoy open play spaces where physical exercise and nature play is encouraged. As educators, our purpose is to take each child on an Educational Journey: spark students' intellectual curiosity to grow their creativity and capacity to tackle and solve problems to value work ethic and persistence and work with others to show care and compassion. As a school community, our focus is to empower the students in our care to make good choices and to provide quality education for all that walk through our gates. There is a real sense of community at our school. Together with parents and parish, we seek to develop and nurture the Catholic faith of our children and bring them to a fuller understanding and knowledge of Catholic teaching and tradition. We recognize that in some cases it may be necessary to put in place more favorable treatment for some individuals or groups in the interests of securing sustainable equality of access and opportunity. At St. Peter Chanel we actively challenge pupils or adults who express opinions that are contrary to our ethos and the ‘British values’

View full school

- The Pázmány Péter Catholic University, which is one of the legal successors of the University that was established by Cardinal Péter Pázmány, archbishop of Esztergom, Primate of Hungary, in Nagyszombat on 12th May 1635, during the last more two decades, has got a prominent place in the Hungarian higher education system and has become a recognized partner of many universities and research centers on the national and international level. Moreover, it has become a member of several highly qualified research university networks. Our university'suniversity's conscious organizing activity was recognized by the state in 2013 when we received the title of National Excellence. What is that peculiar value which can be added to the generally known and existing secular university activity by a catholic university, in the World, particularly in Europe, especially in Central Europe? This is the loyalty toward our common Christian heritage, morality, and belief in the eternal truth, which can be recognized by humans. This is the one which motivates us to instruct and form the new generation, to proceed in the highly qualified scientific research, never forgetting the roots of our faith and the real goal of every scientific inquiry. Protection and transmission of this value are never outworn - even the opposite concept is argued many times - but current and fresh. Instruction is a natural part of the essential work of every University; however, the sources of the new facts which can enrich the teaching should be the results of fundamental research. The formation is not merely forming the mind by facts and theories. Therefore, moral and spiritual formation is an extraordinary responsibility for our University'sUniversity's participation in the challenge of the Church. If we understand this principle, our teaching can be much more authentic, and our students can feel more about their responsibility. Their preparation is in our hands, like in the 17th century, when Cardinal Péter Pázmány gave the youth a chance through a university's foundation among challenging contemporary social circumstances. According to the Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the university functions and fulfills its ecclesiastical mission: "Since a Catholic University's objective is to assure a Christian presence institutionally in the university world confronting the significant problems of society and culture. (…) Therefore, a Catholic University is a place of research, where scholars scrutinize reality with the methods proper to each academic discipline, and so contribute to the treasury of human knowledge. Each discipline is studied systematically; moreover, the various disciplines are brought into dialogue for mutual enhancement. Besides this, the unique aims of PPCU are the following: the University is a scientific community that, through its strict and critical approach, promotes the protection and development of human dignity and cultural heritage by research, education, and other activities provided to the given national and international community especially in the field of theology and human sciences but as much as possible in the area of natural sciences as well. At the same time, the University has the mission to ensure the Catholic Faith's presence in the Hungarian culture and become one of the determining factors of the Catholic cultural life. It is a unique socio-political task of PPCU to present the Catholic view concerning individuals and the whole society. This approach's essence is the unconditioned acceptance of the objective value of human beings from their conception to their natural death. This view of society provides the opportunity to initiate new educational programs in the broadest spectrum possible, which can focus on the individual characteristics of the participants and, at the same time, can be appropriately personalized. This way, the Catholic education of experts' main aim is to mobilize individual capabilities for the service of the society and of every person. Naturally, this goal is closely linked to the phenomenon that appears within the Catholic education of experts: the education of the ''entire person'', which means that, beyond the intellectual and physical formation, the students'students' spiritual and moral development must also be of primary students studentsmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU) is a state-approved higher educational institution that is run by the Catholic Church and governed by the Hungarian Catholic Bishops'Bishops' Conference. The Congregation of the Catholic Education of the Apostolic Holy See in its decree n° 1151 (on 25th November 1999) declared that Pázmány University had been established and approved directly by the Holy See. The University has a legal entity both in the legal system of the Catholic Church and that of the State of Hungary. In the Catholic Church, the institution is regarded as an official ecclesiastical legal entity. PPCU forms a unique segment of the Hungarian higher education as a non-regional institution with national coverage and as the only single University of the Hungarian Catholic higher education, a member of an international research university network. Our University was founded in 1635 and had been continuously operating ever since. During the Ottoman occupation, the most tragic years of our country'scountry's history, Archbishop of Esztergom Péter Pázmány established the University, which proved to be of epochal significance in the history of education and religious culture in Hungary. He was convinced that the University was the only way to guarantee the survival of the nation'snation's moral and intellectual culture. The University he founded adopted both his intellectual heritage and his name. The University was moved to Buda from Nagyszombat (now Trnava) by Maria Theresa. In the spirit of the 1848 reforms, the University became a modern and autonomous educational center. After a short period when its self-governance was limited by Habsburg absolutism, it regained its previous rights in 1860. By the beginning of the 20th century, it became one of the World'sWorld's finest universities. In 1921, after World War, I's grisly calamities and the restrictions imposed on it by the Hungarian Soviet Republic, the "Royal Hungarian University of Science" in Budapest was once again named after its founder Péter Pázmány. It bore his name until 1950 when the communist state restructured the University by separating the Faculties of Medicine and Theology and changed the remaining institution's name to "Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences." In 1993 the Hungarian Parliament registered Pázmány Péter Catholic University (and the Faculty of Humanities) as a university accredited by the state. We currently have five faculties: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, the Faculty of Information Technology, and the Postgraduate Institute of Canon Law, which also has faculty status. We offer a safe and well-resourced environment designed to stimulate imagination, social interaction, and the development of a range of skills, ensuring that your child will grow in confidence.
