      8. Wollondilly Anglican College was conceived out of the need to provide Christian education in an environment that encourages excellence. With over 900 students, it has grown to be a College of choice for those in the Wollondilly Shire and surrounding districts. They seek reinforcement of family values and life skills, self-discipline, and broad educational options. The College promotes academic excellence. There is a differentiated curriculum to provide extension opportunities, and the EDGE Academy caters for acceleration by subject or by grade. We are blessed with an experienced staff of dedicated professionals, selected from many applicants. The College provides for the education of students from Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-olds) to Year 12 and offers specialist facilities to cater to all core subjects and a variety of academic electives. Modern, technology-focused, comfortable, air-conditioned learning facilities accommodate all classes without any portable or demountable buildings. The controversy surrounding the values that schools teach is never far from the media spotlight. It has even been suggested that some schools are value-neutral. I would challenge this assertion. All schools pass on values to students. Parents do not choose schools based on a presence or absence of values but instead based on the quality of values that are in evidence. Wollondilly Anglican College espouses the virtues of traditional Australian Christian values. These include freedom for students to shine, the development of God-given talents, and a family environment exemplified by quality pastoral care and a sense of community. The spectacular, award-winning grounds and modern, stylish uniforms are testaments to pride in staff, students, and parents' belonging. This is enhanced by an emphasis on a safe environment, where students have a right to personal security and are encouraged to share responsibility for others' safety. Wollondilly Anglican College is one of 17 schools operated by The Anglican Schools Corporation. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College. Located in pleasant rural surroundings at Tahmoor, about 60 minutes from Sydney's CBD, it strives for educational excellence in a Christian context and includes modern, permanent, air-conditioned buildings. Vision Statement is Wollondilly Anglican College endeavors to provide a disciplined, caring, learning community where students and staff pursue excellence and lives are transformed for Christ's glory.

In all of their complex diversity, the school's programs are really about the aspirations we have for the boys and girls and the tone we value within the school. In turn, there is an atmosphere within the school that we feel is precious. The city of Cairns faces Trinity bay. The naming of Trinity Anglican School at White Rock in Cairns set the precedent of combining religious, historical, and geographic significance features. The Whitsunday name was chosen in keeping with this model. In the Church's calendar, the name Whitsunday evolved from the word Pentecost. On the seventh Sunday after Passover, Pentecost is observed. In early Biblical times, Pentecost was a harvest festival marking the end of the barley harvest and the wheat harvest. By the second century, it was observed as a Christian festival celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost became a significant occasion for baptisms. Those being baptized wore white. This seventh Sunday after Easter has become Whitsunday, also known as white Sunday. Whitsunday Anglican School upholds its mission, vision, and values. We offer an education that proudly promotes Christian values while tailored to the needs of each student. Mission Statement is Within a Christian values framework; we provide an engaging and supportive learning experience that achieves the best outcome. The combined intention of which is the development of a commitment towards responsible citizenship. There is a strong tradition of cooperation and friendship between parents and staff in the school. Education is a combined operation, with school and home, each playing an important part. With cooperation between the two, it is intended that the students derive maximum benefit from their experiences. The school expects to contribute to each student's full intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic, moral, and spiritual development.
      10. Welcome to Walford Anglican School for Girls, where, for more than 120 years, educating and caring for girls has been our priority. Our school is a vibrant community where students happily engage in learning. With the support of highly qualified teachers, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate courageously, and develop a deep respect for themselves and others. At Walford, learning and teaching is our focus. Teachers provide regular feedback on student learning and use data obtained through an assessment to inform and refine their practice. Our curriculum, which is internationally recognized, aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to participate in an ever-changing world. While the academic results of our students are consistently excellent, our school offers so much more. It is a place where girls realize that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. From an early age, students are encouraged to take on leadership opportunities. They enjoy a broad range of cultural and sporting activities and are actively involved in community outreach projects. Our campus has been carefully planned to promote the sense of belonging, which began in the family home of Walford's first Headmistress, Miss Adamson, back in 1893. Friendships are easily facilitated across year levels, and each girl is known by name and valued for her unique talents and strengths. Beyond Walford, our students continue the friendships forged at school. They join a network of accomplished Alumnae who remain connected with their school, wherever they are in the world. Excellent girls' schools continue to be in the press because they are educating students who gain outstanding academic achievements and because their girls become strong, confident women. Our strategy Towards 2020 serves as the framework upon which future priority setting and decision making is based. It guides the school's operational initiatives, which are reported to our community at the end of each year. We were delighted by all who chose to provide their input, which saw more than three thousand pieces of information collected. In recent months, the Walford Governors, with the Executive Leadership Team's support, have worked to distill this feedback and articulate our plans for the future. Walford was founded in 1893 by Miss Lydia Adamson in her family home in Fisher Street, Malvern. Under her astute leadership and then that of Miss Ellen Benham, who encouraged the sciences, the school flourished. The family ethos of early years remains a distinctive characteristic of Walford today. Hundreds of schools opened in those early first decades of Adelaide's settlement. Walford is one of the few who survived the Depression and continued its growth to become a leading girls' school in Australia today. In 1917 Miss Mabel Jewell Baker bought the growing school and moved it to its present site. Miss Baker fostered a sound scholarship reputation from a religious base and encouraged students in the arts, sport, and co-curricular activities. She also introduced the Old Scholars' Association (1918), the Prefect system, the Parent-Teacher Association, and the school motto, Virtute et Veritate. At the end of 1955, when Miss Baker retired, Walford had 450 students and a well-established boarding house. Walford was incorporated as a Church of England Girls' Grammar School in 1956 with Miss Nina Morrison as Headmistress. She was followed by Dr. Helen Reid AM (1972-1991) and then Mrs. Marilyn Haysom (1992-2004). As the school grew, adjacent properties were purchased, and an extensive building program was undertaken. In May 2004, Mrs. Helen Trebilcock became the first Head of Walford to use the title of Principal. Mrs. Trebilcock had a strong commitment to girls' education and was respected by her peers for her energetic, inspirational, and dedicated approach to her work. Until her retirement, she reinforced Walford's reputation for encouraging the pursuit of excellence in every student. In October 2012, Ms. Rebecca Clarke accepted the Council of Governors' invitation to become the eighth leader of Walford. Today Walford aims to provide an adequate education for girls through rigorous and challenging teaching, an extensive and varied co-curricular program, and a supportive and encouraging Christian environment.
      11. Welcome to the Thomas Hassall Anglican College website. The College is named after Reverend Thomas Hassall, one of the great pioneers of education in New South Wales. We are strategically located on 24 acres in Middleton Grange in Sydney's emerging South West. Learning occurs in modern buildings, and the College has a wide range of specialist facilities and resources. Our College is registered and accredited with the Board of Studies and is committed to achieving quality learning outcomes. Our College was established in 2000 and has experienced strong growth with a current student population of over 1600 in Prep-Year 12. Our ethos is both Christian and Anglican. The College operates under the umbrella of the (Sydney) Anglican Schools Corporation. Through prudent management, the College has maintained a fee level that is accessible to as many families as possible. We describe ourselves as a learning community because we believe that we are all learners, teachers, students, and parents learning from and with each other. We describe ourselves as a community in which parents, teachers, and support staff work in partnership to advance the students' learning and growth. Our mission is creating a vibrant learning community in which each student is valued, high standards of character, behavior, and relationships are set, and Christ is honored. Our vision is 'Growing and Nurturing Excellence, Wisdom, and Service'. Our mission learning to Live Living to Serve Honouring Christ' remains constant. Our motto is 'A More Excellent Way. To achieve our mission and vision, we will continue to develop and grow leaders in our College community. We believe that leaders are required to: Challenge the process by facilitating change that moves towards opportunities. Inspire a shared vision by committing and engaging others. Enable others to act by building trust that leads to serving others. Model the way by establishing unity through setting an example. Encourage the heart by acknowledging success and celebrating it. The College operates under the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation as an Anglican College within the Diocese of Sydney. Our programs, curriculum, approach to pastoral care, and discipline are informed and underpinned by the values, principles, and truths contained in the Bible. What we believe is what influences what we do. Our ethos is, therefore, both Christian and Anglican. Our Christian Studies Program, which is taught from Prep to Year 12, is designed to help students understand Christianity so that as they mature, they can make an informed assessment of its relevance to their life. All members of the staff are personally committed to living by the beliefs and principles contained in the following statement: The fundamental truths of Christianity are contained in the Bible. The Bible declares that there is one God in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the Bible is to bring people to salvation by trusting in Jesus Christ and to teach people the right way to live so that they may be thoroughly equipped for every good thing that God wants them to do. Jesus Christ was in very nature God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, dead and buried. He rose again on the third day and will one day come again to judge the living and the dead. Only by faith in Jesus Christ can people be saved from the consequences of their sin, have the assurance of forgiveness, the Holy Spirit's presence in their lives, and eternal life.

Committing to doing what is right and following tasks through to their completion. We seek to follow the example of Jesus Christ who came not to be served but to serve others and who gave his life that we might have eternal life. We demonstrate this through Being a part of something bigger than just the individual sharing resources, skills, and knowledge. Seeking to give, not just receive. The College developed as part of the New Schools policy of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. An Organising Committee for an Anglican School in Wagga had been in operation since the early 1990s. A public meeting in April 1998 rekindled efforts. The Bishop of the Diocese, Bishop George Browning, spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of over a hundred and twenty and the Organising Committee, now under the Chairmanship of Mr. Neil Stubbs took new heart. A Riverina Anglican College Ordnance was passed through Synod and the Committee, in a step of faith, advertised for a College Principal.
      18. Underpinning Tara Anglican School for Girls are our firm commitments to an outstanding educational offering for girls and authentic Christian faith that values individuals and recognizes their uniqueness. Our purpose is to be a Christian learning community characterized by excellence, which encourages girls to achieve and serve in a dynamic world. Tara has a strong and proud tradition as a Christian school in the Anglican tradition. As such, we envisage education to be more than the impartation of knowledge, and instead of the very formation (in our context) of young women. This means that the knowledge and skills that we foster are developed directly with a Christian way of seeing the world and the practices and behaviors that accompany this. This development occurs within the context of a Christian community of care. In turn, our educational practices are strengthened by this approach, which properly considers the whole person and not merely one's mind. Christian faith is integrated into all aspects of school life, including the curriculum, pastoral programs, behaviors and friendships, and leadership development.

      20. St Paul's is a co-educational Anglican school founded on the ethos and values of the Anglican Church. We are a multi-campus school with campuses in both Traralgon and Warragul. We are a community committed to learning and, as such, we strive to provide engaging and enriching learning experiences for all of our students. We aim to nurture every child's talents in areas of challenge and extending in areas of accomplishment. From the child-centered and play-based activities of our Early Learning Centres through to the mastery of critical skills and the pursuit of individual passions through a diverse range of specialist subjects and programs, St Paul's aims to foster the potential academic joy of learning which will be life long. For us, learning is much more than that which takes place in the classroom. Our school offers a broad range of co-curricular programs, including sport, music, drama, and outdoor education. Our students are also active participants in their communities, contributing and raising awareness through service to others. There is a strong emphasis on cross-age mentoring and the provision of authentic, age-appropriate leadership opportunities for our students within our community. Our focus is on effort and growth in learning and bringing out the best in every student. As you will see from our NAPLAN results, regardless of a child's academic level when they join us, we do make a difference well beyond what would usually be expected. We also understand that not all learning can be measured through testing and that there is so much more to be considered when choosing a school. Our students are recognized as confident, reliable, and contributing members of their community. Employers will often seek out a St Paul's student for employment because of this reputation. As one local business owner said, "I have not met a bad one yet!" Having graduates who are such fabulous young people does not happen by accident. We are blessed to have a healthy and supportive parent body, high-quality and committed teachers, and students who are fresh and eager to learn. Teachers who are new to our school often comment that they can "get on with teaching" rather than focus on behavior management and address students who are disengaged. As a school that seeks to bring out the best in every child, we also offer a wide range of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. We have an enormous range of co-curricular activities available across the school, and we offer academic enrichment and support opportunities as necessary. The school's documented history is aptly titled "No Ordinary Days," which reflects the reality that there is always something new and exciting happening at St Paul's. You may also be interested to know that we are an accredited eSmart school, have been officially recognized by the Victorian Government for our commitment to creating a "health-promoting school," and we are working towards accreditation for our commitment to sustainability. Our students have also achieved success at both State and National sporting competitions. The staff works thoughtfully and collaboratively to develop personal and academic enrichment programs that cater to our students' diverse needs. Our pastoral care approach is personalized and multilayered: designed to care, nurture, and equip our students for the specific needs of the 21st century. 23. Welcome to St Margaret's. It is a difference borne not just from the present, but one steeped in the school's origins and the legacy of the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent, who established what would become St Margaret's over 120 years ago. Underpinned by the Anglican faith, St Margaret's has remained faithful to the Sisters' calling to prepare young women for further education and life. In the words of Sister Bernadine in 1939, "setting the feet of future generations on the right path." This means educating the whole child while also recognizing that every child is different. One of this school's greatest strengths is its smaller size, allowing for a personalized learning approach. Also, we provide our students with the broadest range of experiences to choose from to explore many interests that can lead to greater self-discovery. We offer 18 sports, a thriving cultural program across music and visual and performing arts, clubs, and activities, and emphasize social responsibility. Ultimately we want our young women to graduate with the confidence to go out into the world and use the strengths discovered and developed at St Margaret's to make a positive contribution locally, nationally, and globally. Being educated in an all-girls' school truly empowers our young women to believe they can achieve whatever they set out to. In an all-girls' school, they witness strong female leadership and have more chances to lead. They enjoy more freedom from gender stereotyping. They enjoy equal opportunity and every opportunity. They work more collaboratively and less competitively, and they have a strong and connected female network after graduation. We witness the result of this every day through our past students – successful in their fields all over the world, positively impacting their sphere through their work and their outlook. You will get to know just a few of them through our website, and we will add other Old Girls' stories regularly. We have a wonderful campus at St Margaret's with excellent facilities and the latest technology. But the most significant single influence on educational outcomes and the overall impact we can have on your child's education is our staff. We have a team of incredibly dedicated, compassionate, and exemplary teachers committed to each child's education – and not just their academic results. While we strive for each child to achieve the best possible results, perhaps even exceeding their expectations, it is equally important to us that they are learning about life, learning about themselves and that we are equipping them with tools they can use to help them succeed in all aspects of their life. The other significant influence that has a very positive impact at St Margaret's is our community. Our students are engaged and enthusiastic, our parents are involved and supportive, and over 6000 Old Girls maintain an active connection to the school. This sense of community is palpable when you visit St Margaret's. When you are ready, please give our admissions team a call and arrange a tour, join us for our Open House events, or you can enroll online at any time.

Historically, our NAPLAN results are above average in all year levels. In 2015, our OP results were the strongest in Bundaberg with four OP 1's, and we continually strive to improve on these results each year. We actively encourage students to pursue all aspects of academic, cultural, spiritual, sporting, or service activities as they discover who they are and whom they want to become. We believe that the holistic development of the individual is of vital importance. We aim to nurture and encourage our students to become exceptional, confident, creative, responsible, and sensitive people who contribute to the community in their years beyond school life. We enhance and support the spiritual growth of every student through the Anglican faith. Our students have many opportunities to explore and celebrate their faith through regular chapel services and various student groups. 25. St Mary's Anglican Girls' School is an independent day and boarding school for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We have a proud tradition of providing a challenging, diverse, and enjoyable education, which incorporates the pursuit of excellence and a love of learning in a Christian environment. St Mary's was founded in West Perth in 1921. Some forty years later, the school moved to Karrinyup, where the school's modern era commenced. Well-appointed, air-conditioned buildings and modern facilities set in secure, landscaped grounds ensure that this beautiful, spacious environment enhances our academic and extracurricular programs. The school is located close to the ocean in the northern suburb of Karrinyup, thirteen kilometers from Perth's city center. Situated on forty acres of landscaped grounds and natural bushland, it is within walking distance of some of Perth's finest beaches. St Mary's has an enviable reputation for academic excellence and achievement at the highest levels in music, drama, art, debating, sport, and outdoor education. We are also renowned for encouraging participation by students of all levels of expertise in a wide range of extracurricular activities. In line with contemporary learning approaches, we are committed to investing in improving our school buildings and infrastructure so that our girls can study in the very best surroundings, benefitting from inspirational and contemporary facilities for all manner of activities both inside and outside the classroom. The House system, School crest and motto, and the School prayer and hymn are vital parts of St Mary's rich, all-around history and identity. As part of the House system, each girl is placed in six houses - Craig, Hackett, Lefroy, Riley, Wardle, or Wittenoom - where past family connections are continued. As well as being the vehicle for extracurricular activities and competitions, the Houses are essential in the development of leadership, values, and ethics. Each House has a prefect who, together with captains and the guidance of a Head of House, leads the House through the year's activities. Each year group and House also raise funds for worthy causes and those in need. Each year group has a Head of Year who takes on an essential pastoral care role, monitoring student welfare and development, and interacting with students regularly. The Head of Year also organizes essential activities for the groups. For almost 100 years, St Mary's has been proudly educating girls to be the best they can be. We are committed to nurturing confident and caring young women who embrace opportunities and contribute meaningfully to their community, both within and beyond school. With a reputation for outstanding academic achievement in an Anglican faith-based environment, St Mary's is a caring and inclusive community. Our highly qualified and professional staff are supported by excellent facilities and provide a warm and supportive learning environment to enable our girls to thrive. Discovery is at the heart of St Mary's student experience, and our staff is faithfully committed to the holistic development of each girl. Significantly, we recognize that at the heart of happiness is knowing yourself, understanding others, and being a good human being. We aim to develop the unique qualities of our students while encouraging them to strive for personal excellence. A rich extracurricular program provides outstanding opportunities for students to engage in service activities, outdoor education, surf and diving programs, drama, dance, debating, music, and sport. These activities help develop essential 21st Centuries skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and self-confidence, and we encourage our girls to engage and actively participate in these opportunities. Pastoral care lies at the heart of all that we do at St Mary's. Our philosophy is that each girl is known and nurtured as an individual. The school's pastoral care team strives to ensure that your daughter feels secure and is a valued member of our community. Maintaining a positive self-image is paramount, as a student's emotional well-being directly influences personal happiness, academic achievement, and contribution to school and family life. The Christian principles of trust, co-operation, and concern for others are encouraged amongst our girls and are central to chapel services and the Religious Studies program. The Dean of Students is responsible for overseeing pastoral care in the Senior School. This includes maintaining close contact with home, helping new students settle in, and monitoring students' welfare by liaising with teachers and school psychologists. When a student enters the Senior School in Year 7, she remains in her Year 7 class, with her class teacher as her primary pastoral carer. From Year 8, girls are placed in a small pastoral care group, known as her Link, in a Link teacher's care. These groups consist of girls from Years 8 to 12, so students remain in the same group, in the same teacher's care, for the remainder of their time at St Mary's. Link teachers meet with their groups every day. This regular contact helps the teacher get to know the members of their group quickly. It also increases awareness of the students' progress and involvement in school life and more immediate recognition of possible problems and causes for concern. The name Link was chosen because of all that it represents in terms of bringing people together. Links, or bonds, between individuals of the same and different year groups are established through close communication and help to satisfy our need for security and a sense of belonging, in this case, within the community of St Mary's. At St Mary's, faith and service are at the heart of the school. St Mary's Church of England Girls' School was founded on 14 September 1921 in the Church of England parish in West Perth, and by the then Rector of the parish of St Mary's, The Rev'd C L (Tom) Riley. The Rev'd Riley, later Bishop Riley, was the Small School's first Principal and Chair of the Board of Governors. According to the Anglican tradition, formal worship, focusing on the Eucharist, is an integral part of its cyclical life. We resolve to maintain and build on our Anglican foundation and Christian values. Through regular Chapel services and the Religious Studies program, girls are reminded that this is an Anglican School and that our philosophy is based upon Christian principles and teaching. Learn more about our school by viewing the Anglican Schools WA Ethos Statement. Girls of many faiths and beliefs attend St Mary's, and all attend our services, with the Eucharist being central to our community life. Girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 attend Chapel services weekly. Besides, borders have their Chapel service each week, and the annual Boarders Grandparents' Day always begins with the girls and their grandparents worshipping together. The boarders also enjoy chapel services with the boarders at Hale School, our brother school, and Guildford Grammar School from time to time. There are staff services to mark the beginning of each term and to conclude the school year. The many regular services, special services mark Holy Week, All Souls Day, and Christmas's approach. In August each year, students from Year 3 to Year 12, together with staff, celebrate through the Eucharist, the School's Patronal Festival, a highlight of the school's liturgical calendar, as is the annual Year 12 Valedictory Chapel Service. The school is proud to have Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy as a Visitor to the school and to have the Archbishop and Bishops preside over some school services and significant school occasions. We are members of the West Australian Anglican Schools Association (WAASA) and Anglican Schools Australia (ASA). Our current Principal, Mrs. Judith Tudball, is President-Elect of ASA.
