Woodlands School opened in 2008 and is a Special School in Currie, Edinburgh, providing a personalized education for secondary-aged learners with a wide range of learning disabilities. The school is set in an attractive campus, in a beautiful wooded area named Roley’s Wood, which we share with Currie Community High School. Our school has a roll of 80 learners. Our classes have a maximum of 10 learners but most are smaller to better meet individual needs. Every class has at least one Pupil Support Assistant. Our excellent accommodation provides a tailored learning environment for our learners. Our school emblem is an acorn that symbolizes our nurturing and achieving environment, allowing our young people to grow into strong individuals with a sense of belonging.
