- Welcome to Creative Children International School, Hawally, Kuwait. At Creative Children International School we use a multicomponent educational system tailored to accommodate students with Developmental delays, Autism, Down syndrome, and Slow learners. CCIS uses instructional approaches which address all the areas of growth of a child. We provide high-quality educational programs for students who are taught by experienced and competent staff using a variety of excellent educational materials and resources. Each year we set higher goals for student success based on what we have learned from the previous year. The last academic year offered improved learning opportunities for students with the implementation of Portage in the early years. We will continue improving the academic program while offering fun and educational events such as the National Day celebrations, theme days, Sports Day, etc. CCIS has provided a platform to children with learning delays and difficulties for more than 14 years. We continue to be committed to equipping our students with the skills they require to succeed in school, at home, in the community and equip them for higher studies and vocational training opportunities. We provide a supportive environment that focuses on the positive development of students both academically and socially. At CCIS, we specialize in strengthening learning capacities rather than only compensating for specific learning difficulties. We have been helping children with learning disabilities to overcome their challenges and achieve academic success. Our staff is specially trained and truly dedicated to helping students through our individualized and specialized educational plans and programs. The school's vision is to provide a preparatory environment conducive to learning where instruction is carried out in a developmentally appropriate manner, equipping our students for vocational or independent living programs and inclusion into mainstream schools. We seek to create a caring and respectful environment where staff, students, and parents work collaboratively to provide a motivating and supportive learning platform. Creative Children International School wishes to provide a range of services for the educational, social, and rehabilitation needs of children with developmental disabilities. Our institution believes in the hidden potential of each child and tries to nurture his/her personality, foster intellectual curiosity, encourage spiritual and personal growth, support loving relationships and promote a caring environment for our students. - CSS has a rather unique position in Hong Kong's educational landscape. Our progressive, exceptionally student-centred curriculum is meticulously designed - our students learn effectively with enthusiasm and achieve success in many domains whilst striving for academic excellence. What is really special about us is that our development and successes are achieved by high quality relationships between people - the synergy and commitment of a culturally diverse and professional team, the strategic vision of the school board of directors, exceptionally strong partnership with parents, and a lively student body who really value their teachers and have a confident sense of ownership of their school. Our graduates have developed into principled and confident young adults with a strong sense of service and a broad awareness of the world. They have found their individual strengths and passions, and many have entered renowned universities and colleges in Hong Kong and abroad. We are confident that the momentum and energy generated by the whole school community will inspire more families to join us. Creative Secondary School (CSS) is a progressive, innovative and forward thinking school. Our learning approach integrates the best of Chinese and international educational practices. Academic rigour at CSS is complemented by a happy and vibrant school life. We prepare our students for the opportunities and challenges of the modern, rapidly changing world. We aim to cultivate in them a strong sense of cultural identity, a passion for life and a commitment to make the world a better place. Our students are purposeful, compassionate and globally minded, and strive for goals they willingly and confidently set for themselves. They develop strong motivation for learning and embrace a set of positive values and capabilities, ready to realise their potential and serve the community. We are pleased that our graduates have been able to find their passion and continue to pursue their aspirations in tertiary education and beyond. This is exactly the strategic vision of our school board. CSS is an award winning Inviting School committed to the educational philosophy and practices of the International Alliance of Invitational Education (IAIE). As an inviting school, we maintain an exceptionally caring school ethos within which students are positively encouraged to learn and develop their talent to the full. We benefit from our operation as a Direct Subsidy Scheme school which receives government funding subsidy. We principally offer the Hong Kong secondary curriculum for local students and prepare them for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE). We have been an IB World School since 2009. We deliver the first four years of the Hong Kong secondary school curriculum through the pedagogical approach and framework of the IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). The IB MYP is concept-driven and promotes inter-disciplinary, inquiry-based, collaborative learning, as well as strong communication skills and international-mindedness. In the last two years, suitable students may be offered the IB Diploma as an alternative Diploma for university entrance. Founded in 2006, CSS is a part of a continuum of 3 schools that share a common educational philosophy for students aged from 3 to 18. Creative Primary School (CPS) and its kindergarten were founded in 1985 CPS is also an award-winning Inviting School and an IB World School. We recognize that all students are uniquely talented. Within our exceptionally supportive community, students develop positive relationships and relish the opportunity to realize their individual potential to the full. Learning at CSS is highly student-centred, engaging and inquiry based. Through a broad range of experiences in and beyond school, students become confident, optimistic, compassionate and internationally-minded young adults, ready to find their place in the world. - Manchester Creative Studio is an employer-led ‘studio school’. We provide young people aged 14-19 with the skills and knowledge they need for a career in the creative and digital industries. The term studio school comes from the renaissance studio schools, where renaissance masters would bring students into their studios to pass on their skills and expertise to the next generation. Studio Schools are a new type of state school for 14-19-year-olds which have been developed to address the increasing gap between what young people require to succeed in life and the skills and knowledge that the current education system provides. Studio Schools pioneer an innovative new approach to learning with a focus on teaching through enterprise projects, personalization, and real work. They take a very old idea – that many of us learn best when doing real work in teams – and apply it to new 21st Century schools. We understand that choosing a new school to continue your creative career can be daunting and we want to make sure this is the right choice for you. The studio school model has been developed in partnership with local and national employers who need future employees to fill the current skills gap. We will help you to develop the necessary skill set to start work in the creative industries at the end of your time with us. However, extensive research shows that equipping young people with employability skills alone is not enough. In a competitive and uncertain world, young people also need to think creatively, build resilience and be able to respond effectively to rapidly changing circumstances. The evidence suggests that embedding creativity and an ability to respond successfully to change is vital if the UK is to compete in an increasingly globalized service economy. These are sometimes loaned to students at critical times during their course. Our digital devices include a Microsoft Surface machine, Macbook, Canon DSLR camera, Tripods, Video recording equipment, and much more. The loan of these items depends upon your course of study. Even the sketchbooks and ordinary everyday textbooks students use have been specifically designed for use in the school. For students who study at Manchester Creative Studio in Key Stage 4, qualifications gained include all of the core GCSE qualifications you would find at a traditional school, in addition to specialist GCSEs and industry-recognized qualifications in the creative and digital industry. Our popular Level 3 courses, Media - Games Design, Graphic Design, and Media - Film & TV. Personal coaches support the learners using the CREATE framework and ensure each student receives appropriate support. We believe that as well as gaining qualifications, young people need to be encouraged to think creatively, build resilience and be able to respond effectively to rapidly changing circumstances. All students have an individual learning plan supported by dedicated learning coaches and a specialist personal coach. The learning coaches monitor, track and support subject-specific learning and achievement, they agree on the appropriate program and level for each student. The CREATE skills framework has been designed specifically for Studio Schools to ensure students develop a wide range of employability and life skills whilst in education. Through CREATE, students follow a personalized curriculum that meets their individual needs and aspirations, developing transferable skills ready for employment. Our coaches support students throughout their time at MCStudio and ensure that CREATE underpins every element of their journey with us. Coaches play a central role in students’ personal and academic development, setting targets and encouraging and tracking progress. The governors play a very important role in ensuring MCS is following the vision and ethos set out when we opened in 2014. Their expertise and knowledge are invaluable in molding the creative professionals of the future. The Full Governing Body meets at least every term. The three core strategic governance functions set out in the DfE School Governance Handbook are: ensuring clarity of vision, medicine ethos, and strategic direction holding the principal to account for the performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of its staff and overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent. Governors take on specific responsibilities and work with the senior leadership team to monitor and raise standards. The Governing Body has the full range of skills and experience to fulfill its responsibilities. This includes people who are appointed for their particular expertise, parents, and staff. All governors give their time voluntarily and work very closely with the Principal and the staff at the school. View full school

- Here at MCMA, we believe that our focus on high aspirations and expectations is an essential element to ensuring that all our students have the skills that are necessary to go on to lead happy and successful lives. We encourage respect for ourselves and others and are committed to developing a range of skills both within and beyond the classroom through our broad and balanced curriculum and our additional extra-curricular offer. Here at MCMA, the ethos of our Academy runs through all that we do and echoes our Academy’s sense of community, the wider responsibility we have to both ourselves and each other, and our collective desire to strive to achieve our best. Here at The Manchester Creative and Media Academy we are committed to our vision and work hard to achieve the very best for all our students, staff, and the wider community. We have enviable facilities, fantastic students, and dedicated staff and we work in partnership with our parents/carers to achieve the very best. We are committed to ensuring that our students leave us with both the qualifications and skills that are required to lead happy and successful lives. We are also committed to being at the heart of the local community that we serve and we share our excellent facilities. Many in our local community use our enviable sports facilities and we also take part in local initiatives such as ‘Charlestown in Bloom’. We are always looking for ways in which we can engage further with our local community. Respect for ourselves, each other, and our community. Commitment to strive to achieve our best and to support others to achieve their best. Trust in ourselves and each other so that we can achieve our best Our Academy Rewards system is built around our values and these are embedded in all that we strive to achieve. We work together to achieve a strong sense of community within the Academy and our Pastoral system and a strong focus on developing students’ social, moral, spiritual, and cultural skills is woven throughout the curriculum, our extra-curricular offer, form times, and assemblies. We demonstrate strong attitudes to learning that encompass pride in our Academy. We are polite to others at all times, arrive prepared for learning, are punctual, and develop the skills that enable us to remain relentlessly positive as we strive to achieve our very best. We expect our students to be involved in the decision-making processes of our Academy and have a wide range of student leadership opportunities ranging from being a Student Parliament member to being a Sports Leader. All these opportunities enable our students’ voices to be heard and allow us to work together so that our vision can be achieved. The Academy is part of The Co-operative Academies Trust, having joined in March 2016. Being a part of the Trust brings many additional opportunities for our pupils, including links to the Co-operative Group. We also work in partnership with other organizations that enhance the experiences that our pupils have. Successful partnerships with The Manchester Metropolitan University and programs such as ‘Researchers in Schools’ enable us to have access to cutting-edge research to inform our teaching. Our partnership with The Manchester United Foundation has brought our pupils a wealth of unique experiences. Inspectors recently described the Academy as a ‘calm, positive place to be’ with pupils demonstrating ‘positive attitudes to learning.’ Our pupils have achieved a range of awards that reflect their excellent leadership skills. The student council received a ‘highly commended’ Speakers’ Award and the academy a ‘Democracy Award’ this year. Our commitment to our values and those of our sponsor were reflected in the achievement of the Fair Achiever award due to our commitment to Fair Trade. The MCMA Governing body plays a critical role in providing support and effective challenge to school leadership. By doing this the governing body can play a critical role in the improvement of the Academy. The Governing body of the Academy meets half-termly, however, in between these meetings, sub-committees also meet which focus on other areas of school life. Our Governors bring different areas of expertise to the academy and are all passionate about the success of the academy and work to secure the academy’s vision of excellence and high aspirations so that all our pupils can achieve excellence in all they do and can go on to lead happy and successful lives. The Manchester Creative and Media Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and visitors to share this commitment. All external visitors who are meeting with students must have a current, enhanced DBS certificate. External agencies will be asked to provide the academy with the name of the person(s), together with their DBS certificate number and issue date before meeting with students. No visitor will be allowed to meet with a student alone unless we have verification of documentation. All visitors to the academy will be asked to sign in and out. They will be provided with a copy of the MCMA Safeguarding leaflet. View full school

- CIS humbly started in September 2002 and was founded by Mr. HAMAD AL-ASKAR & Mr.ABDUL AZIZ AL-BAADI with great enthusiasm to provide quality education to expatriates. The school showed progress from its inception. We offer the IGCSE Curriculum certified by the University of Cambridge. The school complex has beautifully planned for Nursery, Boys & Girls sections in separate areas. The arrangement for Computer Lab, Science Laboratory, and the library has been provided for the Primary & Secondary sections separately. At Creative International School we Understand the Child and provide the right education. Our school offers a curriculum that includes varied subjects which help in developing integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance & Compassion. We help the student to become a useful part of his environment. An amiable environment created by the teachers belonging to different nationalities ensures that our students are geared to being global citizens, fully equipped to take on challenges of the word. Although high academic achievement is our endeavor. Our goal is the child’s all-around development with self-discipline, self-reliance, alertness, teamwork, concern for others are some of the important traits we are trying to inculcate. Your Support and Co-operation in different activities will enable your ward to truly benefit from everything the school offers: To create a caring environment where as far as is humanly possible. To value all pupils equally and educate each pupil to his maximum potential. To offer a curriculum that is broad, balanced, and relevant to their needs and preparing for them for their future life. To foster excellence in both academic study and personal standards. It is a universal fact that the mental age of a child almost always corresponds to their physical age. Children must not be pushed too much at a tender age nor should they be deprived of adequate challenge. Such things should better be left to the professionals so that learning becomes a pleasurable and interesting activity. Promotion policy as laid down by the school authority needs to be strictly adhered to. With the available resources, our teachers are doing their best to impart sound education. Almost all those who have been granted admission, irrespective of their prior record based on admission test. We are ready to look at new ideas with an open mind, test and implementing them whenever necessary. Right moral values such as honesty, kindness, tolerance, patience, generosity, and aesthetic values have got to be firmly instilled into their minds who will have to venture out into the world where they will be subjected to thousand different experiences. Indiscipline, arrogance, and indecorum among students have got to be curbed. This is only possible when the parents have to respect the opinion, professional dignity, and judgment of the teachers. If they show disrespect to the teachers how will the children show respect to them? And more importantly, how can these teachers instill those higher values which we all appreciate? No rational thinker can honestly say that academic excellence takes precedence over character building. All is certainly lost when a character is lost. The school is following the IGCSE curriculum from its inception which is certified by the University of Cambridge. The Academic Year commences in September and ends in June of the following year with mid-summer vacation in July & August. We offer a holistic Curriculum with two semesters from Grade 1 to X. Keeping in mind the regional and philosophical differences and adhering to the local cultural regulations. CIS helps the students to face the challenges of the world. With an excellent blend of scholastic and co-scholastic activities, we try to mold students to become excellent fellow beings. Our School Promotes: Quality Education Ideal Teacher-Pupil Ratio Trained, Experienced, Qualified & Professional Staff Modern Educational Facility like E-Library, Language Lab, IT Lab, Science Lab Co-curricular Activities Extra-Curricular Activities Limited class strength helps our teachers to pay attention to each child in the class. Parent Teachers meeting is held in the school at regular intervals. Parents are requested to actively participate. Constructive suggestions from parents are always welcome and are duly considered. English Language, English Literature, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Urdu, Arabic, General Knowledge, Art and Craft, coloring, and Physical education. IGCSE Syllabus is followed from Grade VIII and continues until the end of Grade IX. The subsequent year, students appear for IGCSE Examination. Students receive certificates issued by IGCSE affiliated with the University of Cambridge. View full school

- From inception – in 1991 – the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has been sensitive to market demands because it felt a strong responsibility to produce graduates who can smoothly transition from the classroom to the workplace. Here is a synopsis of its development and eventual global expansion. The Institute was the first step forward towards achieving a successful and rewarding career for students. For the next ten years, the Institute set the pace for the education community. The philosophy was to empower the individual. And in doing so, the Institute grew. It expanded. It upgraded. It reviewed. It revamped. Industry requirements and global trends were its yardsticks as the Institute introduced new studies relevant to the times and in anticipation of the future needs of the nation. Designing itself was a significant expansion – Graphic, Electronic, Product, Industrial, Interior, Multimedia, Information, Communication, and Animation. Industry collaboration gave excellent opportunities for students to engage their creative expressions in real work experience. These included work developed for restaurants, hospitals, manufacturers, resorts, publishers, humanitarian foundations, societies and clan associations, councils, public relations companies, municipal councils, government ministries, and non-government organizations. The work has been wide-ranging from the type of creative input needed to the organization that required the input. Every move made by the Institute has been strategic to match the aspirations of the nation. Being an educator, the responsibility adds pressure in that we have to keep several paces ahead to anticipate and provide the kind of environment, training, nurturing, and learning that the students need and faculty and staff. Besides, the Foundation for Creative Excellence creates a unique pathway for those with talent but without the financial support to realize their dreams. The Foundation helps the nation use the talent that may otherwise remain untapped and capable individuals unfulfilled. This was an era of knowledge. The University College had come into full grasp of its capabilities, especially in nurturing creativity. Creativity was at the core of knowledge because data and information needed to be converted into content. It takes creativity to present knowledge in various forms – books, newspapers, magazines, videos, film, Internet (such as websites pages), multimedia software such as CD-Roms, advertising materials, and other communication materials. The University College had now expanded its role to help the industry expedite its entry into the k-era. The setting up of the Malaysia Design Innovation Centre (MDI) provided the industry resources to explore and experiment with new ideas needed to upgrade its positioning in a world market. Limkokwing University has no parallel in how it has expanded and merged with the countries where it has set up campuses. The University matches its programs with the countries' national development plans to build the workforce they need to build their economies. We can do this because of our development and contribution to nation-building in Malaysia that overseas comes naturally. Our success can best be measured by UNESCO and the World Bank invitations to present our methodology in reinventing education.

Evidence consistently shows that employers are concerned about key skills gaps in the British economy. Every new survey of unfilled vacancies confirms that employers are looking for – and not finding – key employability skills amongst school leavers. The Leitch Review backed this up. Commissioned in 2004 to identify Britain’s long-term skills needs it identified employability skills such as critical thinking, communication skills, and teamwork as amongst the country’s biggest gaps.
