Job Summary: The RF Test Engineer will work with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications. The candidate will apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects. Additionally, the candidate will work on systems validation, test, and analysis, while working through all phases of development and integration within the Effector RF & Communication Department engineering labs. This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and two years of directly related work experience in RF which could include any combination of the following:Experience in test and measurement of RF products.Electrical testing within RF chambers.Experience in reading, understanding, and accurately following prints, schematics, sketches, as well as work from verbal and/or written instructions including test procedures.Past work history with the design, fabrication, or testing of electronic and mechanical sub-systems and CCAs.Experience in documenting findings encountered during testing and troubleshooting.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
