Job DescriptionJoin Amazon Advertising to shape how millions of advertisers discover the tools and guidance they need to succeed. You'll design and deliver personalized experiences across our advertising console, ensuring each advertiser receives tailored content, workflows, and support based on their unique goals and campaign context—solving a problem that directly impacts advertiser success and business growth.Key job responsibilitiesDefine and communicate the multi-year product vision and roadmap for personalized experiences in the console, working backward from advertiser workflows and needs to ensure alignment across the organization.Partner with data scientists and engineers to evaluate model selection, algorithm design, and infrastructure tradeoffs, translating technical possibilities into product decisions that determine what personalization can deliver.Make high-judgment scope and sequencing decisions about which console surfaces to personalize first, how to balance confidence against coverage, and when static experiences better serve advertiser needs.Drive cross-team alignment with partners who own adjacent console surfaces, resolving competing priorities and building shared conviction for the personalization direction to deliver seamless experiences.Define success metrics, instrument tracking, and analyze performance data to understand how personalized experiences impact advertiser outcomes, using insights to inform model tuning and roadmap prioritization.A day in the lifeIn this role, you'll focus on building personalization frameworks that adapt the advertising console experience in real time based on advertiser needs and behaviors. You'll collaborate with data scientists to evaluate reinforcement learning models and engagement signals, working through complex tradeoffs between infrastructure investments and immediate advertiser value. You might spend your morning reviewing performance data to understand how personalized experiences are outperforming static ones, then shift to facilitating alignment discussions with teams who own different console surfaces—resolving competing priorities to create seamless end-to-end experiences. You'll also partner with engineers on the agent-driven architecture that powers whole-page personalization, making high-judgment calls about which surfaces to invest in first and when to hold certain experiences stable. Throughout, you'll balance the clarity of near-term wins with the ambiguity of defining a multi-year vision that works backward from how advertisers actually operate.About the teamWe're a growing team within Amazon Advertising focused on reimagining how advertisers interact with our console. Our vision is to create experiences that adapt intelligently to each advertiser's maturity level, goals, and campaign context—removing friction and surfacing the right guidance at the right moment. We serve advertisers of all sizes, from small businesses running their first campaigns to sophisticated enterprises managing complex portfolios. Our work directly influences advertiser satisfaction, retention, and success. We're building something new, which means the path forward isn't always clear—but we're united by the conviction that solving this problem matters. You'll work alongside data scientists, engineers, and product partners who are committed to inventing simpler experiences even as our underlying systems grow more sophisticated.
