Craiglockhart Primary is a non-denominational school built in 1903 and serves the Shandon area of the city. We are part of the Tynecastle High School. We have a custom-built nursery on-site with places for 20 pupils in the morning and 20-afternoon places. There are currently 15 classes and a Nursery class. We are very proud of the girl's consistently high attainment in the new National Qualifications and the staff who prepare them so well for the formal assessments. Over and above the fantastic academic achievements of our girls, they continue to excel in sport locally and nationally enjoying success in a variety of sports including hockey, swimming, and cross country.
