As a school community, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive environment where children have the freedom to flourish. We are proud to have been selected as a Digital Pioneer School for Wales by the Welsh Government. We are very proud to be the first school in North Wales to achieve the 360 Degree Safe eSafety Mark from SWGfL. This shows our commitment to providing high-quality safety education for our whole school community and beyond. We would like to thank eCadets and MCC Digital for their ongoing support in helping us achieve the eSafety mark. Through these elements, Digital technology in the 21st Century is seen as an essential resource to support teaching and learning, as well as playing an important role in the everyday lives of children, young people, and adults. Consequently, Cornist Park has identified the need to embrace the use of digital technology to equip our pupils with the digital competencies to access lifelong learning and enhance their employment opportunities in the future. At Cornist Park learners will engage with what it means to be a conscientious digital citizen who contributes positively to the digital world around them and who critically evaluates their place within this digital world. They will be prepared for and ready to encounter the positive and negative aspects of being a digital citizen and will develop strategies and tools to aid them as they become independent consumers and producers.
