St. Benedict’s and St. Mary’s is situated on a large campus with a separate junior and senior yard. We have a playing field for outdoor sports and playtime in fine weather. This program is key to the independence and confidence of our students when they leave school. Although Scoil Treasa Naofa itself was not opened until 1930 the involvement of the Christian Brothers in the area began as far back as 1818. In that year the Most Rev. Dr. Murray, Archbishop of Dublin, requested Edmund Rice to open the second school in Dublin.
