  2. At Cardiff Muslim Primary School we strive to give our children a balanced education that provides them with the skills and confidence to flourish into strong Muslim individuals that will benefit our community and wider society. We want to inspire our children to become future doctors, teachers, and entrepreneurs. We want them to aspire towards success in this world and the hereafter. We aim to provide an environment where children feel safe, secure, and happy. We want to work in partnership with parents and carers to support our children’s education. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together openly and engagingly. Learning through faith. Faith through learning. We asked our children to think of words to describe their school.....and then we put them into a word cloud. We asked our staff and children what they wanted Cardiff Muslim Primary to aspire to. This is our shared vision is to achieve excellence and contribute positively to local and global communities. It is a fun and happy place. It gives knowledge that you can't get in other schools. The school provides good education, social learning, Islamic teachings, and environment and is a good start to young lives. Our teachers try hard and help us to learn. The school provides a Muslim foundation to start the beginning of a child's journey in life. CMPS is a place for fun and learning, with an atmosphere of kindness. Educational, challenging, fun, and exciting. Our Reception class said, Friendly, best, nice. The best school in the world! Our Golden Values were written by our children. They believe that everyone in school, and those that visit, should stick to these values to make Cardiff Muslim Primary School a happy place to be. We want everyone in the school to be treated kindly, fairly, and with respect We will listen carefully, keep the noise down, be well mannered and polite We will look after our property and that of others We will keep our school and classrooms tidy We will move around the school safely, sensibly, and quietly We will always tell the truth We will always try to do our best work
  3. The BC Muslim School is an Independent School enrolling students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. The purpose of B.C. Muslim School is to provide a superior standard of education to foster academic achievements and to cultivate an Islamic spirit in each student. Our School motto is “Perseverance, Excellence, Commitment, and Knowledge. As we begin another successful school year, We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our students back, with a special welcome to students who are new to our school. Communication and interaction between students, teachers, and parents are vital to a successful year. This Parent and Student Handbook have been carefully prepared for the parent and student use. The Handbook is designed to help our families understand the expectations set by BCMS. One of the school’s most important priorities is to develop the individual’s learning and intellectual skills through generating integration between the Islamic curriculum and the program of studies prescribed by the Ministry of Education. To foster students’ high achievement in all areas of knowledge and skills. We foster high expectations for all students. Thus, the teachers and administration are concentrating on learning, which will dramatically improve the students’ performance. Parents are strongly urged to nurture their children’s high achievements by providing them with support, care, and encouragement. A school is a place where teaching and learning take place. Appropriate behavior is the key to setting the climate in which teaching and learning occur. Knowledge can be of no benefit or even destructive if not directed by constructive principles and transmitted through productive actions. Thus, proper behavior is promoted continuously in order to maintain a safe and caring learning environment. In our disciplinary approach, we use reminders to make better choices, discussion, problem solving, counseling, and logical consequence concepts. We spend a great deal of time encouraging the children to work out social conflicts verbally (i.e., use their words), to listen to each other, to encourage empathy, and continuously strive for a spirit of harmony and mutual respect. Thank you for your interest in the B.C. Muslim School. Our school facility includes all amenities that are necessary for quality, all-rounded education. We are currently upgrading our technological infrastructure. Part of it is upgrading the classrooms with interactive Smart Board and providing laptops to all the teachers. The primary classes are the first ones to implement the technology upgrade. Gradually all classes will come under the technology upgrade. B.C. Muslim School is an Independent School registered pursuant with the B.C. Ministry of education. We follow the B.C. Ministry of Education Curriculum for Academic studies and the new curriculum for Islamic Studies Qur’an And Arabic. Our children pray Duh’r Salaat in the Mosque. They also pray Jumma’h on Friday. We aim to provide proper Islamic education to our children to become a good Muslim and a responsible citizen.

  5. Aligarh Muslim University The University grew out of the work of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the great Muslim reformer and statesman, who, in the aftermath of the Indian War of Independence of 1857 felt that it was important for Muslims to gain Education and become involved in the public life and government services in India. Raja Jai Kishan helped Sir Syed in establishing the University The British decision to replace the use of Persian in 1842 for government employment and the language of Courts of Law caused deep anxiety among Muslims of the sub-continent. Sir Syed saw a need for Muslims to acquire proficiency in the English language and Western sciences if the community were to maintain its social and political clout, particularly in Northern India. He began to prepare the foundation for the formation of a Muslim University by starting schools at Moradabad (1858) and Ghazipur (1863). His purpose for the establishment of the Scientific Society in 1864, in Aligarh, was to translate Western works into Indian languages as a prelude to prepare the community to accept Western Education and to inculcate scientific temperament among the Muslims. The intense desire to enhance the social conditions of Indian Muslims led Sir Syed to publish the periodical, 'Tehzibul Akhlaq' in 1870. Vision and Mission Vision USIF aims to become one of the leading Centres in the country by acquiring the latest and sophisticated instruments. Mission To make available the facilities at reasonable charges to the Faculty members, Scientists, Research Scholars from Universities, Laboratories, Institutes, and Industries that are either Government or privately funded. To be known as an innovative, creative and successful Centre for providing high-quality sample/specimen analysis. The Library's foundation was laid in 1877 at the time of the establishment of the Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College by Lord Lytton, the then Viceroy of India, and it was named after him as Lytton Library. The present grand seven-storied building was inaugurated by Late Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India in 1960. The Library was renamed as Maulana Azad Library, after a great scholar, educationist, statesman, freedom fighter and the first Education Minister of independent India. 8. We aim to create a caring and warm atmosphere within which pupils can develop their full potential. Through the teaching and practice of Islam, in the light of the Quran and Sunnah, we aim to develop a love for Allah (SWT) and confidence in their identity as young British Muslims. By providing stimulating and differentiated work, setting tasks and goals that are achievable to all, we aim to acknowledge and actively encourage all abilities within the school. Our target is to continuously assess and positively reward the effort and progress made by our pupils. We have high expectations of our pupils not only in academic excellence but also in standards of behavior, appearance, and character, both inside and outside the school. We aim to equip our pupils with skills to face the challenges of today’s changing world by encouraging communication, personal growth, and confidence at all levels. In 1993, a group of Muslims set about establishing a playgroup that would cater to the needs of young British Muslim children. Following on from the success of the playgroup and the growing demand for a high-quality Primary Education within an Islamic context, the Manchester Islamic Educational Trust was formed in 1994 and set about establishing the first Muslim Primary School in Manchester. Alhamdulillah, 23 years later, with the support of the parents and wider community the school is flourishing. MMPS is a fully Independent Primary School that caters to children aged 3 to 11 years old. The school is DfE registered, follows the National Curriculum and alongside this, it offers lessons in Quran, Arabic, French, and Urdu. We are supported by highly skilled staff with a wealth of teaching experience and a passion for education, along with dedicated and supportive parents. Together we have established a cohesive team and a determination to prepare our children for life as citizens of our society. Our high standards and academic success were recognized by OFSTED during our last full inspection. Further the results from MMPS KS2 test results speak for themselves and continue to be well above the national standard. At MMPS, we encourage all potential parents to visit the school as this will assist with the decision-making process. Should a place become available, parents will be contacted and pupils will be invited to spend part of the day in school and undertake an assessment. Pupils are assessed in areas of literacy and numeracy, including reading comprehension, spelling, and story writing. Pupils will also have the opportunity to sample school life and meet potential classmates. If your child is successful, a formal offer of a place will be made by the Head Teacher. Following the national curriculum, teaching staff carefully tailor learning to meet the needs of individual pupils. The Foundation Stage applies to children from three years of age to the end of the Reception year. Compulsory schooling begins at the start of the term after a child’s fifth birthday. The Foundation Stage is important in its own right, in preparing children for Year I and later schooling. The Early Learning Goals set out what is expected of most children by the end of the Foundation Stage. Our extra-curricular activity program provides pupils with the opportunities to try their hand at a variety of different activities and take learning beyond the curriculum. There is an after-school Quran club that runs four days per week. The club is run by the school and the Quran lessons are taught by qualified Quran teachers. The club is open to all children from Reception onwards.

  12. 13. Our curriculum is designed to nurture pupils of all abilities to develop a life-long love of learning and realize and achieve their real potential. View full school
