Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of SMT Process lines with a focus on Xray programming and Xray Touch up proficiency, which includes automated and programable equipment, for multiple products. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Individual will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, Defect prevention, and process data analysis. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Advanced knowledge of Solder defect prevention detection, and assessment to ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 solder joint specifications Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation Computer and machine programming for manufacturing automation Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology Manufacturing process development and support Interaction with senior personnel on technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.
