Your key responsibilities As a Senior Associate or Consultant in the EY-Parthenon – Strategy and Execution – Digital Infrastructure practice, you will identify and analyze the client’s most strategic issues. Senior Associates and Consultants are generally a contact point for our clients, responsible for developing work plans, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions and managing other case team members. Senior Associates and Consultants work on a variety of client issues, such as developing growth strategies for organizations, performing due diligence on acquisition candidates, assessing attractiveness of potential targets, understanding new markets, turning around underperforming institutions, reducing operating costs and implementing change, and have the opportunity to assume immediate management responsibility. While candidates would work primarily in Digital Infrastructure, they would have the opportunity to work across sectors and practices within the broader Private Equity Practice Group. Skills and attributes for success Perform secondary research using a variety of sources (e.g., analyst reports, market research reports, news articles). Executing various analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, macroeconomic forecasting) to support the strategic recommendations. Designing and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts and customers. Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial models to help identify key assumptions and drivers. Managing and directing the analytical efforts of junior team members on a daily basis. To qualify for the role, you must have Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience. Experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market research, or a quantitative type of research function. Interest in telecommunications or digital infrastructure (including data centers, wireless infrastructure, broadband infrastructure, satellite communications and related industries) Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities. Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment. Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines. You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position. The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Ideally, you will also have MBA or graduate degree with at least 18 months of related work experience. A strong understanding of digital infrastructure business models, as well as experience and/or knowledge within the digital infrastructure competitive eco-system and value chain. Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
