Al-Ain University is authorized, and the Commission licenses its degree courses for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education - Higher Education Affairs in the United Arab Emirates. The University has two noteworthy branches, one is situated in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE, and another in Al Ain also called the Garden City.
Al-Ain University offers 21 undergrad programs, five graduate projects, and one certified diploma through the schools of Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business and Mass Communication and Media.
The College of Engineering has acquired universal accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In contrast, the College of Pharmacy has received worldwide affirmation from the American-based Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The primary and sole University in the UAE to get this official recognition from the College of Law got a full endorsement from the Supreme Council for Evaluation, Research and Higher Education in France (HCERES).
