The University of Biskra was established in 1984. It has its origins in three national institutes were autonomous administ retirement, educationally and financially: National Institute of Hydraulic National Institute of Architecture National Electrotechnical Institute These three institutes have become central universities in 1992 The University Centre became "Mohamed Khider University of Biskra" in 1998. It now has six faculties: Faculty of Science and Technology Faculty of Law and Political Sciences Faculty of the tires and Languages Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences and Management Sciences Faculty of Exact Sciences, Natural Science and Life Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. -
