  1. At Tyndale Christian School, we actively encourage every person to belong rather than attend, to become a part of the community and a part of the family. One of the main choices we face in life is whether we will be spectators or participants, and this is no different when it comes to schooling – for parents, staff, and students. At Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge, our focus is on developing the whole child – holistically and individually. Underpinned by strong Christian values, we emphasize the organic development of our students within a framework that creates a safe, flexible environment where students can both thrive and build a sense of belonging. It is so important that children gain a sense of understanding and interest in the wider world, which will foster a love of learning. From our early year’s program, we create imaginary worlds for children to learn and explore – providing the capability to visualize concepts from day to day life and live them through active learning experiences. As children progress through the years, we emphasize ensuring they acquire and develop skills that will have functions later in life. In Year 10, we offer a Vocation Program enabling students to spend time in professional environments investigating career paths of interest to ascertain future goals. At Murray Bridge, we embrace student Leadership – providing opportunities for our students to build self-confidence and the vehicle for students to willingly put their hand up and lead to make a difference to their lives, the lives of others, and impact the world. Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge is unique – with the strength of a strong brand and three schools behind it, we offer the knowledge that families have a community in each school. To provide an excellent, inclusive Christian education that equips our students to serve God and His world. Tyndale Christian School was established to be a place of learning for students within the Christian faith context. Therefore, the school’s core purpose is to provide best practice (excellent) learning and curricula within a Christian and inclusive community. Tyndale Christian School was established by Christian parents wishing their children to be educated in an environment that would support and complement the values and faith that the families sought to inculcate in their home. The school’s focus is to provide an affordable, holistic education for all students in a distinctively Christian community. Planning for Murraylands Christian College at Murray Bridge began in 1994. The doors opened for service in February 2000, as the School governance – Emmanual Christian Fellowship Inc. sought to provide a Christian school for those wanting their children in an environment that would support their family values and faith. In January 2015, Tyndale Christian School acquired Murraylands Christian School and began overseeing the schools’ governance and operations located at Murray Bridge and Strathalbyn under the Tyndale banner. 2. Riverside Bridge is an expanding Special School and the only of its kind in the borough, coming under the umbrella of ‘Riverside Campus’. We work closely with Riverside Primary and Riverside Secondary to provide the very best for our students. As of September 2017, we have 15 classes ranging from 6 – 10 students. Each of these classes has the support of 3 adults who work closely with them daily to ensure they are given access to an inclusive and enriched curriculum that is both accessible and relevant to their needs. Riverside Bridge is an inclusive school where every child is valued and supported to achieve a full and independent a life as possible. Inclusion is about entitlement, access, and equality of opportunity. Every student has a right to expect a broad and balanced relevant education alongside his or her peer group and within their local community. We will be open to children from all religions and will practice tolerance of all faiths and beliefs in the multi-cultural community we serve. We believe parental co-operation and support are key factors in our student’s school success, many of our students are unable to communicate so it is vital to receive parental input at the earliest opportunity. Class teachers, phase leaders, and the senior leadership team are happy to be contacted about individual students this can be done via the home/school communication book, a phone call, or by sending an email via the school email. There is a supervised Homework Club, which runs after school in the IT suite, for students who wish to make use of school facilities to help them with their work. At the start of the year, each student is baselined using the school’s chosen method of assessment, ‘Strands of Attainment’. The base-lined data is used to generate targets for Autumn, Spring, and Summer terms. Targets are calculated and adjusted according to the individual child’s category of need (PMLD, MLD, SLD, and ASD). Riverside Bridge uses a combination of aspirational targets based on baseline levels alongside CASPA (Comparison and Analysis of Special Pupil Attainment) which is used by schools across the UK for students with special needs. Student’s progress is monitored on a termly basis through data collection the data is closely analyzed and evaluated through pupil progress meetings. The findings of this data are then used to inform future planning and address any interventions that may be required. In the Spring term, students have an annual review to discuss any progress made and any requirements needed to ensure they are supported in all areas both educationally and personally. Where appropriate, discussions and changes to Education and Healthcare Plans (EHCP) are made. In September 2016 we moved to the new site on Renwick Road, along with Portakabin, Anna Hope assisted with the design of the purpose-built Riverside Bridge School. Here we have a range of facilities to support both the needs of our students alongside specialized classrooms. Each of them has a ‘chill out’ or group room attached for additional learning. We are also fortunate enough to have our own sports facilities, dining hall, food technology, science lab, art, DT, and our Home Management rooms. Students where appropriate travel to and from these additional rooms which are located to access a wide and varied curriculum, the travel aspect encourages independence and an awareness of the surroundings outside of Bridge. The curriculum at Riverside Bridge School offers pupils curriculum experiences that are broad, balanced, relevant, differentiated, and progressive and which promote the spiritual, intellectual, personal, social, and physical development of all our pupils. Accommodating the educational needs of all its pupils and enabling pupils to acquire the knowledge, concepts, skills, and values that are relevant to their present and future lives is core to the school culture, management, organization, curriculum content, and approaches to teaching and learning. The pupils at Riverside Bridge School are not a homogeneous group, and even those of the same apparent developmental age may not progress through the stages of development at the same rate but we aim to provide all pupils with relevant and appropriately challenging targets and work at each stage of their development. We’re pleased to announce that we have switched to an online payment service for you to pay for your child’s school dinner. Using a secure website called ParentPay you will be able to make payments to school online using your credit or debit card. Everyone will benefit from our new payment facility. 4. The Academic Bridge Program (ABP), a center of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, is a premier pre-university program established for high school graduates from Qatar and other countries in the region. The ABP is located in the architecturally stunning LAS (Liberal Arts and Sciences) building on Qatar's campus of Education City. Since our program was established in 2001, more than 2,500 students (mostly Qatari high school graduates and students from over 30 other countries) have graduated from our program. Many have enrolled at one of the universities in Education City, at Qatar University, or universities in the U.S. or the U.K. Over 90% of our graduates are admitted to university each year. The school typically seeks teachers with at least a master's degree and a minimum of five years of experience. This year, however, the average teacher's experience is closer to 15 years, and several of the senior teachers and administrators have as many as 30-40 years of experience. Additionally, five of the senior staff have earned doctoral degrees. Some of this year's faculty members have been college professors or instructors, and many have taught in several countries before coming to Qatar. This year's faculty and staff have been recruited from hundreds of applicants. They collectively represent 20 nations (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Jordan, Romania, Lebanon, The Philippines, Poland, Switzerland, Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan, France, India, and 11 faculty members from Qatar). The faculty has been selected for their subject matter expertise, educational qualifications, enthusiasm, previous success in teaching, and their commitment to providing each student with the maximum opportunity for learning and success. The Academic Bridge Program of Qatar Foundation aims to be the pre-eminent Post-Secondary Preparatory Program in Qatar and the Gulf Region and equip specially selected, top-caliber secondary school graduates for admission to and success in degree programs at the universities at Qatar Foundation and other English-language world-class universities. The mission of the Academic Bridge Program is to provide high school graduates in Qatar with the academic and personal skills for success in reputable English language universities around the world, with particular emphasis on preparing students for the universities in Qatar Foundation's Education City. 5. At The Bridge London Satellite, we aim to provide an education for all our pupils that reflects the National Curriculum but which also takes account of their individual learning needs. The School provides a creative, broad, and balanced curriculum that encourages learners to achieve their potential. However, it is recognized that reasonable adjustments to the National Curriculum will be needed. Alongside the adjusted National Curriculum, we will be running the ‘additional’ curriculum. The ‘additional’ curriculum will allow greater emphasis on the following key areas Social Communication and Interaction Emotional understanding and self-awareness Independence Sensory and Physical OUR MISSION: "To improve children and young people’s lives through innovative teaching and integrated approaches". OUR CORE VALUES: PRIDE PASSION POSITIVITY PARTNERSHIP PROFESSIONALISM The aim of our provision is that all pupils feel included and accepted to achieve their full potential. We want our pupils to be confident, happy, self-aware and independent learners". To meet the individual needs of pupils in our school a range of strategies and interventions are utilized to support our pupil-centered approach. Understanding a pupil’s individual needs is central to all aspects of school life including the learning environment (both indoor and outdoor) and teaching approaches. The CSC Strands will be taught across all Key Stages and are embedded in all aspects of the school day. In addition to the CSC, we will deliver a modified version of the National Curriculum in line with our partner mainstream school. This modification will involve tailoring what is taught and how to suit the specific learning requirements of each pupil. For example, we may cover slightly different topics/programs of study within a National Curriculum subject or we may reduce or increase the focus on specific topics/programs of study within a subject. The Satellite Curriculum for the Early Years includes the CSC and follows the EYFS prime areas of communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development. These three prime areas are strengthened and applied through the specific areas of literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts, and design. The Satellite Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2 include the CSC embedded throughout and broadly follows the National Curriculum. Pupils study the following subjects: English, maths, science, art, design and technology, humanities, music, physical education (PE), computing, PSHE, and religious education. The Satellite Curriculum for Key Stage 3 includes the CSC embedded throughout and broadly follows the national curriculum. Pupils study the following subjects: English, maths, science, art, design and technology, humanities, music, PE, computing, PSHE, SRE, religious education, and citizenship. The Satellite Curriculum for Key Stage 4 includes the CSC embedded throughout and broadly follows the national curriculum. Pupils study the following core and foundation subjects: English, maths, science, computing, physical education, and citizenship. We would also offer one of the following subjects: arts, design and technology, humanities, or modern foreign languages. The school opened with 50 places in September 2017 and will grow to 90 places in 2018-19. The school is part of The Bridge London Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
  6. The Integrated Learning Space (ILS) is a unique Specialist School in Islington designed to meet the educational, social, and emotional needs of young people with autism, severe learning difficulties, and challenging behaviors. Our pupils are girls and boys aged from 7 to 19. The ILS is committed to a philosophy of multi-agency and integrated working. We believe that by utilizing the specialist skills of the team around each young person we can achieve the very best potential outcomes for each student at the school. To deliver this we draw on a range of proven educational and therapeutic programs to teach and enrich the lives of the pupils and their families. We work closely with our in-house clinical psychologist to deliver comprehensive parental support and staff wellbeing interventions and invest in researching and sharing our practices wherever possible. Our Vision: To support parents to feel confident, understand and manage their children at home and develop their resilience to continue to do so through periods of difficulty To continue to support and work with the families of children and young people who are in the residential provision To enable young people to return to living at home To provide a tailored education appropriate to each building on their strengths, interests, and learning profiles To overcome the barriers that pupils face when learning and providing evidence of progress in all areas of the curriculum Our Mission: "To improve children and young people’s lives through innovative teaching and integrated approaches". Our core values: An understanding of how citizens can influence decision-making through the democratic process An understanding that the freedom to hold other faiths and beliefs is protected in law An acceptance that people having different faiths or beliefs to oneself (or having none) should be accepted and tolerated, and should not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behavior An understanding of the importance of identifying and combating discrimination The ILS has now moved into its permanent home of Dowrey Street, Islington. This building has been specifically designed for our students and opened in June 2017. For many of our pupil's participation and presence in their local community is a crucial part of their curriculum offer and therefore the learning environment is both in school and outside of it for a significant proportion of our students’ time with us. The Integrated Learning Space is a unique and exciting provision for pupils with autism and/or severe learning difficulties who may find a special school setting too big and too overwhelming. The smaller groups on offer at the Integrated Learning Space, along with an individualized approach to all learning opportunities, will support the pupils to achieve and evidence progress. Learning will be supported by a high staff number. The Integrated Learning Space has a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the very specific and individual needs of the pupils. The curriculum is designed around a strand-based model with core subject areas. Activities and interventions are broadly grouped by subject area for ease of understanding. Each pupil has an individualized learning plan addressing the six strands and the modular program, delivered using strategies that are matched to their learning requirements. Each pupil has an individualized learning plan addressing the six strands and the modular program, delivered using strategies that are matched to their learning requirements. For some of the pupils attending the ILS, English is an additional language. The curriculum is planned for each individual and where appropriate this is taken into account when determining the educational program to be delivered.
  7. We are extremely proud of our continuously improving school. Our school values are underpinned by the aspiration and drive to ensure that every pupil achieves their full potential. We have a strong inclusive ethos and provide challenges and support for children with a range of abilities and skills. We believe that the inclusion of children with additional needs is of benefit to the whole community. Together with our parents and carers, our dedicated staff works hard to remove barriers to learning and to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment that inspires every child. Every class is supported by its full-time teaching assistant. Our children are talented and hardworking and we encourage them to be active role models for one another by taking on leadership responsibilities. Everyone is treated with respect and we celebrate our diverse community in which a wide range of faiths, languages, and cultures are represented. We take full advantage of our fantastic location next to the iconic Tower Bridge and our partnerships with local businesses such as the Unicorn Theatre and law firm Norton Rose Fulbright both support learning and enhance the curriculum. We are continually looking for ways to move forward and have achieved a variety of awards such as Healthy Schools Status and the Primary Science Quality Silver Award. At Tower Bridge we learn and succeed together: Teamwork, Overcoming challenges, Welcoming everyone, Excellence, enjoyment, and effort, Respect for all, Be the best we can be, Resilience and responsibility encouraged, Independent learners, shine, Diversity is celebrated, Goals are aspirational, Engaging everyone every day. At Tower Bridge, we follow a Creative Curriculum based on children’s interests and developing skills. Following the introduction of the new National Curriculum in September 2014, we have reviewed and adapted our curriculum framework. Subjects are taught through broad and exciting topics. Texts in Literacy lessons link to our topics. Children can start in our Nursery at the age of 3 years old. The Nursery and Reception classes work together to provide a stimulating and exciting curriculum that encourages our children to develop across all areas of learning. We believe that language and literacy underpin lifelong learning. We must ensure every child can achieve their full potential by giving them these vital life skills. Literacy develops children’s ability to listen, speak, read and write for a range of purposes, so using language to communicate ideas, views and feelings is fundamental. Children are encouraged to express themselves creatively and imaginatively as they become enthusiastic and critical readers. We encourage pupils to use their knowledge, skills, and understanding in speaking, reading, and writing across a range of experiences and genres. Our Literacy Curriculum is planned to encourage and facilitate independent learning for all our children. We value the range of languages that are spoken in our community and use children’s ideas and experiences in planning lessons to ensure lessons are fun, engaging, and challenging. At Tower Bridge, we feel that all of the children are entitled to experience the range of arts both as part of and in addition to, the creative curriculum we provide. Each year we enjoy a creative art-themed week which includes ‘International Evening’ that enables us to celebrate the rich, cultural, and artistic pools we have at both schools. Through the arts (art, design, music, drama, and dance), we believe that our pupils will be allowed to hone their skills of creativity and imagination. We feel that it offers an alternative context for learning through active involvement, visual, tactile, and sensory experiences which give a unique way of understanding and responding to the world. It will also allow the children to make value judgments and aesthetic decisions, as well as develop their interpersonal skills and support them to engage with their surrounding environment. The arts provide opportunities to challenge, inspire and create a sense of identity through self-expression.
  8. The Bridge Academy is an academic, inclusive, and inspirational environment where innovative thinking and creativity are encouraged and aspirations are raised. It is a hugely exciting place to work and study in, and one that I am extremely proud to be a part of. The Bridge Academy Sixth Form opened in September 2012 and we were delighted to welcome our first cohort of students joining us on our ambitious journey. The Bridge Academy is true "A Bridge to Your Future".With the full support and commitment of UBS, our outstanding sponsor, our Sixth Form is unique and different from any other. This close relationship with UBS means that our Academy is well placed to offer each student high-quality work experience, a dedicated career mentor, and a range of support across the curriculum. The UBS-Bridge Academy Partnership is based on the shared ambition to build a continuous program that gives students superb opportunities to work with UBS employees, providing a positive impact on their achievement, attainment, and personal development. Priority for our 125 places will be given to existing Bridge Academy students. For AS and A-Level courses applicants will need 6 A*-C grades including English and Mathematics with a minimum of 4 B grades in their chosen subjects. Students wishing to study Mathematics at AS/A level must have a grade A at GCSE. For vocational qualifications, applicants will need 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C or a minimum Pass in a relevant Level 2 vocational course. In recognition of our Music specialism, we offer live music places to external applicants under our over-subscription criteria. Our vision is for The Bridge Academy to be an exceptional place where every student can realize their talents and abilities in a safe and intellectually stimulating environment. We aim high. We are committed to creating an inspiring culture of courage, aspiration, and success which together with hard work, will lead to the highest possible standards. The Bridge Academy will give young people the best possible education whatever their background or ability, and will help them develop a life-long enthusiasm for learning. Students experience a broad and rich curriculum with Music and Mathematics as specialist subjects. A culture of high standards and achievement will enable them to develop their full potential, building the skills, confidence, and self-belief they need to become responsible and successful adults. The Bridge Academy creates an inspiring, secure and inclusive environment where innovative thinking and creativity are encouraged and aspirations are raised. It is a school for the whole community with students, staff, governors, parents and carers, and members of the local community working together for mutual benefit. Access to the internet is now an essential element for students to quickly develop their understanding and knowledge. However, students must understand how to use the internet safely and appropriately to protect themselves from potential harm. As parents, we can take positive measures to support this. This clinic provides parents with advice, guidance, and practical help to make their child's experience of the internet a safe and rewarding one. Parents are encouraged to bring any concerns or issues they may have. We will suggest and model practical steps on how to use parental controls as well as demonstrating a range of software that can be used to monitor and manage usage of the internet. The safeguarding of our students is of utmost importance at The Bridge Academy. We are committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers, and visitors to share this commitment. We consistently work with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements are made to identify, assess, prevent and support any child who suffers, or is at risk of harm. 9. At Chase Bridge, we set high standards for work and behavior. Our most fundamental principle is that we believe intelligence and ability are not fixed and if our children develop skills such as resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness, and reciprocity (learning to share and work as a team), they can meet their full potential. We expect all members of the school community - children, staff, parents, and governors - to work together to maintain these standards and for children to work purposefully towards achieving their best at all times. Our school motto is Excel at Learning Express Your Talents Care for Others. Children are eligible to join the Nursery at the beginning of the autumn term (September) following their third birthday. If a space becomes available during the year we will offer it to the waiting list but parents should be aware that we have no guaranteed intake other than in September. Chase Bridge Primary School is maintained by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and follows its policy on admissions. The school is open to any child in the age range of 4+ to 11. As the school is often oversubscribed, it is not possible to guarantee a place to all applicants. If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place for your child, we will be pleased to tell you about the Borough appeals procedure. Parents with young children should refer to Richmond’s official guidance notes on starting school. Once you have been offered a place for your child to start at Chase Bridge, you will be invited to visit for a New Parents' evening and will also be offered a home visit in September before your child starts school. If at any time you have any questions, however small they may seem to you, please do call the school office. Children admitted to the Reception year are given opportunities to visit before they start school. During these times they can familiarise themselves with their surroundings and get to know their teachers. The school endeavors to ensure that children with disabilities can be admitted and play as full a part in school life as possible. The school governors have approved a disability access plan and policy. There are ramps at all entrances, three disabled toilets, and a sound-field system in the hall. At Chase Bridge, we recognize that it is everyone’s moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We endeavor to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. The best interests of the child are considered at all times. We are committed to identifying concerns early and can implement early help where necessary. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection, and justice. We know where a child is in immediate danger or at risk of significant harm action should be taken immediately to protect that child. Chase Bridge always maintains an attitude of it could happen here. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children refers to protecting children from maltreatment preventing impairment of children’s health or development ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes. At Chase Bridge, we run an extensive club provision for all the children in the school. These clubs are organized on a termly basis and are run by a combination of teachers, TAs, parents and sports coaches, and other outside providers. Clubs take place after school, at lunchtime, and occasionally before school. The internet is an extraordinary force for good but is not designed with children in mind. However one-third of users are under 18 and the part it plays in children's lives continues to grow: among 3-4-year-olds, in the last year, time online increased from 6 hours 48 minutes to 8 hours 18 minutes a week, and 12-15-year-olds now spend over 20 hours a week online. (Figures taken from the Children's Commissioner - Growing Up Digital January 2017 report). Through regular newsletters and events, this parent-run group aims to help explain the risks and promote the benefits of using the internet. Run by Chase Bridge parents and carers for Chase Bridge parents and carers, it is a valuable forum for you to share ideas, ask questions and find out the latest advice about new developments. Our assessment procedures are an essential part of how we help children achieve high standards. We regularly evaluate children’s knowledge, skills, and understanding through daily formative assessments and termly summative assessments. These assessments help establish children’s abilities and current strengths, as well as their next learning steps. Teachers use assessment information to inform their planning, ensuring lessons continually build on children’s strengths and address areas for development improving the quality of teaching and learning. Children are actively involved in our assessments, as they become better learners when they are given time to reflect on their success in lessons and are aware of their own learning goals. The qualitative and quantitative assessment information is shared regularly with parents throughout the year so that teachers and parents can work together to help children succeed.
  10. Since its launch in 2001, the Academic Bridge Program (ABP) has graduated more than 2,500 students, 90% of whom have gone on to study at universities here in Qatar or abroad. You can find ABP graduates studying in the U.K., the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. A large number of our students are studying in – or have graduated from – Qatar Foundation's partner universities. The ABP helps its students get admitted to English-speaking universities and to be successful in their future studies. The ABP academic program focused on building the skills needed to succeed in university. We offer a range of supportive services that pave the way for college success. Mini-courses in IELTS and ACT/SAT help boost test scores. In contrast, college counseling services help students understand the complex college application process and write compelling college admissions essays. As a result, over 90% of ABP graduates are admitted to universities each year.
  11. Our school is a large primary, set in very spacious grounds close to Beckenham Place Park. We provide a high-quality education for all our pupils, enhanced by a caring and positive atmosphere in our school. We know that pupils learn more effectively if they feel valued, happy and secure. Our children work hard and we have high expectations and aspirations! We offer a broad and balanced curriculum which is further enhanced by having specialist Science, Music and Language teachers, as well as Forest School. We also offer a wide range of enrichment activities before and after school. Because we place high expectations on our youngsters they develop into independent and responsible learners. We are proud that our children leave Worsley Bridge with a positive self-image and the motivation to achieve. At Worsley Bridge, we also believe that parents have a very important role to play in the education of their children and we actively encourage close co-operation between home and school. We value and build on the knowledge and experiences which the pupils bring from outside of their school life, and we hope that you will share with us in making your child’s time at Worsley Bridge Primary School enjoyable and successful. In response to the demand for school places in Beckenham, the school is undergoing expansion from two forms of entry to three. The future is exciting – our current high-quality provision has been enhanced by a brand new building in Key Stage 1. Over the summer we saw the refurbishment of many areas in our Key Stage 2 building and the development of a new outdoor learning area for pupils in Reception, providing our children with the very best learning environment. We would love you to come and visit to see for yourself all the wonderful things our school has to offer. We provide tours to interested parents, which you may book through the school office. The children of Worsley Bridge enjoy talking about our school and sharing their achievements and look forward to meeting you. Every child and adult at Worsley Bridge Primary School is valued and respected as an individual. We will treat everyone in our school community with respect and courtesy and we expect everyone to behave in the same way to children and adults alike. All children are encouraged to recognize that they must accept responsibility for their actions. We will help each child to make appropriate choices and realize that their actions have consequences. Children are encouraged from an early age to behave acceptably and as they mature are expected to take increasing responsibility for their actions. We aim for all our pupils to leave Worsley Bridge Primary School demonstrating both self-discipline and a well-established sense of responsibility to others. Children are more likely to develop self-discipline when there are clear guidelines as to what constitutes acceptable behavior, when they receive praise for behaving appropriately and when they can be confident that the adults around them will deal with unacceptable behavior fairly and consistently. To ensure a safe and happy environment where pupils can learn and play together a set of clear and simple rules must be observed by all our children. The Worsley Way is designed in such a way as to be understood by even our youngest pupils. Be a caring community, which fosters respect, honesty, truth, kindness, cooperation, and tolerance to enable children to develop positive character traits in everything they do Provide a school environment in which effective teaching and learning can take place, enabling each child to achieve their potential Develop children’s self-esteem so that they can have pride in themselves, their school, and the community Provide an atmosphere in which children are encouraged to be inquisitive, where mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning and where they feel safe Develop children who are confident individuals who respect each other’s differences and take responsibility for their actions Promote good behavior by noticing and rewarding positive behavior, rather than merely deterring unkind or anti-social behavior. “We have a Moral purpose to provide excellence and opportunity for all, to enable lives to be transformed” We believe all choices and decisions should be child-centered. Pupil’s academic, emotional, and social well-being is paramount to enable each child to aspire and be inspired by the opportunities within our schools. We believe that enhancing pupil progress and achievement is best realized through challenge, collaboration, and partnership, based on strong accountability between member schools. Cooperation and interaction with stakeholders will create pride in NEST and a desire to be involved in its work. In addition, key partnerships with other organizations offer further opportunities to enhance learning and teaching across our schools. Our values are our set of guiding principles which taken together, define what we do and how we do it. They allow us to make the decisions and take action which drives us towards our vision and keep to our core mission. Our values are based on the cooperate values of our partner schools. The words may be different but the moral purpose remains the same. Each school is distinct to the success of the organization. We believe passionately that together we can make a greater difference providing higher education outcomes and wider opportunities for our pupils and greater prospects for our staff and communities. Each organization commits to our CHOICE values. It is a reminder that we have made a choice to be a part of the wider organization of Nexus Education Schools Trust and that we are all obligated to the community as a whole. To develop a strong network of diverse and inclusive schools with similar values, aspirations, and a commitment to enable all learners to succeed. To drive improvement within the collaborative and deliver excellent outcomes for all learners and leaders. To minimize the barriers to progress and achievement in the schools and communities in which we work. To advocate the interests of member schools and their children in local, national, and global planning and policy. To achieve efficiencies in the provision and procurement of goods and services. To secure funding for educational projects within and beyond the Trust. To further develop successful educational partnerships beyond the Trust.
  13. View full school
  18. At The Bridge London Satellite, we aim to provide an education for all our pupils that reflects the National Curriculum but which also takes account of their individual learning needs. The School provides a creative, broad, and balanced curriculum that encourages learners to achieve their potential. 19. All members of staff believe that Bridge Academy should provide a safe, caring, positive, and stimulating environment that promotes and supports the social, emotional, and mental health of all our students. All staff in the Academy receive regular Safeguarding and Child Protection training and are aware of procedures to report any concerns. The Bridge Academy is fully committed to the inclusion of students with SEND providing that the Academy is compatible with the child’s age, ability and aptitude and that their attendance is not incompatible with the efficient education of other students in the Academy and is an efficient use of the Local Authority’s resources.
