You will contribute to a variety of different cancer MDMs and will be rostered to a combination of in-patient ward service and ambulatory clinics across both the public and private hospitals. In the private hospital you will also join the consultative palliative care service. You will be rostered to 1 in 3 weeks on-call after hours, with senior consultant support. There is a strong emphasis on excellent coordinated multi-disciplinary care. The hospital has active psycho-oncology and palliative care services. Radiation oncology consultations and treatments are provided on site by Genesis Care. The Department is housed in a purpose built Cancer Centre consisting of consulting and treatment areas. Classifications for this position will range from RX5 – RX7 ($79,597 - $88,224 per annum).
