    More About the Role: Leidos is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Engineer Senior to support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Navy Qualified Validation (NQV) related efforts for the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the SMIT contract, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network. What You'll Get to Do: The IA Engineer Sr. will serve in a small team conducting assessments of cybersecurity risk by evaluating NMCI circuit, site, and solution authorization packages, including acting as a point of contact for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Validation related activities of the assigned packages, ensuring they meet applicable security requirements.
