Primary Responsibilities As an essential part of our dynamic team developing advanced electrical and computer solutions for projects primarily related to missile and aircraft systems. You will design, fabricate, analyze, and integrate hardware, firmware, and software solutions that will successfully address a wide variety of customer challenges. You will also test and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software in both lab and field environments. Design electrical and/or software architectures and integrated systems for real-time, mission-critical systems that include flight systems, sensors, ground vehicles, and space hardware. In addition, you will collaborate and communicate with project managers, customers, and team members to determine and develop hardware and software requirements. You will a contributor to system hardware and software architecture decisions based on customer performance requirements, schedule, and cost constraints (including build vs. buy trades). -Support task execution including electrical system design, avionics design, payload integration, space hardware design, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, usage of electrical test equipment, system debugging, and systems engineering. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must have excellent communication skills and, demonstrate capabilities in one or more of the following areas: Electrical system design Electrical circuit design and simulation Hardware and software interface design and integration C/C++ software development Troubleshooting/debugging hardware/software in a lab and/or field environment Must be a US citizen and be in or willing to relocate to the Huntsville area.
