The Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, has provided outstanding higher medical education and training, medical research, and highly skilled healthcare for over seven decades. The university's achievements are the result of the hard work and dedication of the teaching staff, students, and the technical and administrative staff. One of the main goals of the Faculty of Medicine is to train competent and skilled physicians. This goal implies thorough knowledge of general medicine, one of the most difficult medical specialties, combining clinical aspects with fundamental research.
