      1. Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparatory School (TACAPS), one of Australia's most good K-12 co-educational independent day and boarding schools for Primary and Secondary aged students. Located in Toowoomba and positioned on the majestic Great Dividing Range rim, TACAPS has provided over one hundred years of inspired learning to generations of students. Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparatory School is an inspirational place where students are celebrated for who they are and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our pathways provide both a rigorous and relevant range of opportunities, and we have a flexible approach to our curriculum design. We are academically non-selective, but all students are expected to strive for their personal best. We are an inclusive school, and children from all backgrounds and locations are welcome. Our school community offers a vast range of experiences, but we also pride ourselves on not being too large. It is important to us that all students, parents, and staff members are known and feel valued within our community. Our leading student wellbeing programs are structured around the nationally recognized Kidsmatters and Mindmatters programs. These programs enable our students to cope with the challenges that life provides and enable them to 'bounce forward' rather than backward when facing adversity. The Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparatory School aims to provide an enjoyable rigorous learning environment where students will feel safe and secure. Students will receive an education to cater to their skills, needs, and aspirations. The principles of faith, leadership, lifelong learning, and friendship will always be emphasized and encouraged. Our aim is that young men and women will emerge as well-rounded individuals able to meet future challenges. Our Seven Strategic Statements At TACAPS, there is a realization in each student that they are known, known for who they are and whom they wish to become as a person and in their careers. TACAPS students engage in an innovative and holistic curriculum that prepares them for life after school. TACAPS is a community of faith and service. TACAPS values people as the most critical resource within the organization. TACAPS is a welcoming, accessible, vibrant, family-oriented, community-minded school. TACAPS is a financially sustainable business that provides outstanding people, resources, and infrastructure for its community. TACAPS is known for its active and transparent governance, active external relationships, and risk management culture and compliance.
      2. From the school's inception, we have sought to offer a Christian education that acknowledges God as the creator of all things and that His word is the best foundation for every person. Our school is based on an emphasis on character, developing the God-given talents of each child, declaring God's greatness, His plan for this world, and His plan for each of our lives. This philosophy's outworking has meant that our Year 12 students leave with our school-based statement of attainment. Through the performance of our graduates, our school has established an excellent reputation in the community, especially with employers and tertiary providers, in particular with the University of Southern Queensland here in Toowoomba. Over the last five years, over 97% of the Year 12 students have gone on to employment or further studies. This reflects the school's preparation of students for their life after school. We emphasize high academic performances according to the students' ability and the critical development of character, and a Biblical understanding of human nature and how to relate to others. Our focus is centered around the greatest commandment – to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and to love your neighbor. It is apparent in the Bible that every individual has been made Imago Dei (in the image of God), which is based on our dignity and worth. It also gives us equality before Him and before each other. Our goal as educators is to establish the meaning of being Imago Dei in our students' hearts and minds as they seek to develop an understanding of the purpose and meaning of life. We also want them to develop an outlook on morality and destiny that is founded on Biblical teaching. We also desire that students would develop here at TCC a sense of their calling and dedicate themselves in their hearts and minds to their God-given mission in life. The school is committed to maintaining its clear Christian focus. Implicit in this is our desire to treat each student as a creation of God, unique in their strengths and weaknesses. As much as possible, the child, not the class, is the focus of our attention. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we aim to provide an environment where each student not only learns but feels secure and accepted, developing the giftings God has given them and who understand the world from a biblical worldview and framework. Mission Statement is Toowoomba Christian College to provide a Christian education that will prepare students in spirit, soul, and body to serve the Living God in today's world.
      3. Welcome to Toowoomba Grammar School. For over 140 years, the School has continued to pride itself on delivering the highest quality of education and utmost care for its students. The School's comprehensive education encompasses several core values underpinned by students' intellectual, physical, cultural, and general well-being. We would be pleased to meet with you to discuss our educational philosophy, our programs, and the School's commitment to being a specialist provider of an education designed specifically for boys. The School has been a specialist in boys and young men's education since 1875, and now our current student enrollment approximates 1,150 from the Preparatory Grade to Year 12. Toowoomba Grammar School is also incredibly proud to be recognized as one of the premier boarding schools for boys throughout Australia. The Vision of Toowoomba Grammar School is to provide a "quality education designed for boys." But it is much more than this. We seek to offer an education that will enable our boys and young men to develop life-long values and qualities that will set them apart from others, not so fortunate to have been educated at this School. Behavioral traits of our young men and Old Boys should include a consistent demonstration of integrity, honesty, resilience, compassion, friendliness, kindness, empathy, a sense of humor, humility, a solid work ethic, an interest in life-long learning, and the desire to improve the welfare of others, particularly the disadvantaged in society. Several key elements are contributing to the attainment of this Vision. Clear guidelines of appropriate behavior for our students are required to recognize the value of the highest expectations of behavior and student involvement. Friendly, respectful, and supportive relationships between the boys and the teachers and the students are crucial. The Vision can also be more readily attained by having highly professional and well-qualified teachers, and infrastructure and resource base in which quality teaching can occur, a self-disciplined and aspirational environment in which students want to learn and succeed in community, history, and school spirit. Since the first students enrolled in our School in 1877, Toowoomba Grammar School has always been a school for boys. The School is one of nearly 200 all-boys' schools which are members of an association known as the International Boys Schools' Coalition. This organization involves boys' schools worldwide (USA, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, and China). As a school, we remain committed to single-sex education. We acknowledge that boys are different from girls – biologically, developmentally, and psychologically. The educational philosophy behind single-sex schooling reflects the differential rates of maturity exhibited between boys and girls, the different learning styles typically displayed by boys and girls, the effect of the presence of girls on boys' academic self-esteem, and the tendency for boys to revert to a perceived stereotypical form of masculinity when in the company of girls in the classroom. We acknowledge that boys are generally more impulsive than girls. They can sit still but prefer not to for too long unless engaged and challenged. Our teaching styles are "boy-friendly," our curriculum is relevant to the boys, and we harness their natural competitiveness, inquisitiveness, and humor. Due to girls' absence in the classrooms, we witness boys expressing themselves more freely and taking more positive academic "risks" without worrying about what girls would think of them or how their academic contribution would be judged. In the past, we have witnessed in a co-educational setting, many boys who have been somewhat intimidated by girls' presence in the classroom. Girls are generally more focused in their studies and also possess a maturity which perhaps exceeds that of boys by some sixteen months, as aptly demonstrated by their superior linguistic skills at the same age. If forced to face this competition in a co-educational environment, some boys take a more comfortable option and disengage from academic pursuits.
      4. Christian Outreach College Toowoomba has forged a reputation as one of the region's leading providers of private, co-educational education since 1982. As part of Christian Outreach Centre Toowoomba, we are a Campus that provides quality education and care to your children. From Early Education (15 months – 5 years) through Play Early Learning Centre, rated as an Exceeding center in National Quality Standard, through to Prep, Primary and Secondary, all under one banner, and located in one campus. With extensive multi-purposed facilities, COCT brings high-quality, innovative education to our students, equipping them for their journey beyond school. We take pride in offering a safe environment where every student is valued and cared for. Learning is our core business. Learning is happening all the time, from our Prep children to our graduating senior class. Learning is a life-long, life-wide journey that our students, staff, and families take together, now and into the future. A passionate and vibrant faith in Jesus Christ is evidenced in all that we do. It is our heart that students will experience the joy of a life lived for Jesus during their time at the College. The love of God leads us to love people, and we value growing relationships. We aim to develop young people who are well equipped for the world in which they live. In a complex, challenging, ever-changing world, our students must be well prepared for the journey beyond their years at school. Learning is more than a curriculum. At Christian Outreach College Toowoomba, we focus on seeing your children achieve their best, both academically and in their personal character development. To do so, we incrementally integrate current technologies and creative learning situations and partner with multiple education providers (like our local University of Southern Queensland), making the learning process always fresh and relevant. Our focus is to ensure that each student has every opportunity to succeed in a supportive environment. We base our school operations and curriculum around a core set of Christian values that prioritizes our students, their education, and growth as they embark on their journey of life-long learning.
